MOSCOW (Reuters) – RUSSIA SAID ON WEDNESDAY THAT ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH CHINA WAS NOT AIMED AGAINST THIRD COUNTRIES BUT THE TWO POWERS COULD “COMBINE POTENTIAL” IF FACED WITH A THREAT FROM THE UNITED STATES.
“I WOULD LIKE TO REMIND YOU THAT MOSCOW AND BEIJING WILL RESPOND TO ‘DOUBLE CONTAINMENT’ BY THE UNITED STATES WITH ‘DOUBLE COUNTERACTION’,” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said when asked about a possible DEPLOYMENT OF U.S. MISSILES IN JAPAN.
The Japan Times reported on Sept. 7 that THE UNITED STATES HAD EXPRESSED AN INTEREST IN DEPLOYING A TYPHON MID-RANGE MISSILE SYSTEM TO JAPAN FOR JOINT MILITARY EXERCISES.

RIYADH: SAUDI ARABIA’S CROWN PRINCE MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN AND CHINESE PRIME MINISTER LI QIANG ON THURSDAY LED DISCUSSIONS DURING THE FOURTH MEETING OF THE HIGH-LEVEL SAUDI-CHINESE JOINT COMMITTEE.
With THE AIM OF BOLSTERING SAUDI-CHINESE RELATIONS, the talks focused on “FOCUSING ON STRENGTHENING THE COMPREHENSIVE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES ACROSS ALL FIELDS, [including military]” state news agency SPA reported.
They also touched upon KEY REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL ISSUES OF MUTUAL INTEREST.
“BOTH PARTIES COMMENDED THE ROBUST ECONOMIC, TRADE, AND INVESTMENT RELATIONS BETWEEN THE TWO NATIONS, WITH SAUDI ARABIA BEING CHINA’S TOP TRADING PARTNER IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND RECIPROCALLY, CHINA BEING THE KINGDOM’S FOREMOST TRADING PARTNER,” a portion of the statement, issued after the meeting, said.

THE “OCEAN-24” EXERCISE SPANS THE PACIFIC AND ARCTIC OCEANS, THE MEDITERRANEAN, CASPIAN AND BALTIC SEAS AND INVOLVES OVER 400 WARSHIPS, SUBMARINES AND SUPPORT VESSELS, MORE THAN 120 PLANES AND HELICOPTERS AND OVER 90,000 TROOPS, THE RUSSIAN DEFENSE MINISTRY SAID IN A STATEMENT. THE MANEUVERS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH SEPT. 16, the ministry said.
RUSSIAN PRESIDENT VLADIMIR PUTIN SAID IN COMMENTS TO MILITARY OFFICIALS THAT THE WAR GAMES ARE THE LARGEST OF THEIR KIND IN THREE DECADES, AND THAT CHINA’S WARSHIPS AND PLANES WERE TAKING PART. Fox News senior strategic analyst Gen. Jack Keane (Ret.) said THE UNITED STATES IS IN A “DANGEROUS SITUATION” BECAUSE OF RUSSIA AND CHINA WAR GAMES THAT COULD CREATE A GLOBAL CONFLICT.
Russia and China this week engaged in the largest military drills in decades after they launched joint naval and air exercises spanning both hemispheres. The Russian defense ministry said the week-long war games will include 90,000 troops, 400 warships, submarines and support vessels, along with 120 planes and helicopters.
“That’s a dramatically large war game, to say the least, given the amount of ships involved. Arctic and Pacific Oceans, Mediterranean, Baltic Sea, and the Caspian Sea, all involved in that exercise. Listen, so our audience understands, the most significant geopolitical change in the world in the last three or four years is the cooperation of China, Russia, Iran and North Korea,” Keane said Friday on “Fox & Friends.”

The war games exercise, dubbed “OCEAN 24,” coincided with meetings in Brussels between the U.S. and the European Union in which the issue of security in the Indo-Pacific, as well as China’s support for Russia amid the war in Ukraine, were addressed.
Also this week, Iran was sanctioned for supplying missiles to Russia.

GREAT-POWER COMPETITION INTENSIFIES
Some experts are warning that joint Russian and Chinese military strength poses a serious challenge to the West.
It’s a threat on a scale the US hasn’t faced in decades, with its military focused on fighting militant groups in the face of chaos in the Middle East.
“A FULL-SCALE CHINA-RUSSIA ALLIANCE WOULD PRESENT THE UNITED STATES WITH A THREAT UNLIKE ANY IT HAS CONFRONTED SINCE THE END OF THE COLD WAR,” Chels Michta, an analyst, wrote in an article for the Center for European Policy Analysis in November.

Jesus Christ’s Offer of Salvation:
The ABCs (7) of Salvation through Jesus Christ (the Lamb)

B. Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that (7) Jesus Christ is who He claimed to (7) be; that He was both fully God (7) and fully man and that we are (7) saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. (7) Put your trust in Him as your (7) only hope of salvation. Become a son (7) or daughter of God by receiving Christ. (7777777) 7×7
. . . “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:15-17). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).
C. Call upon His name, Confess (7) with your heart and with your lips (7) that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.
