The parable of the fig tree did not say when “the fig tree and all the trees” put forth leaves, “we might know,” or “we should know,” that “the kingdom of God is near,” but rather, we were to definitely and emphatically “know” and “recognize” that “the kingdom of God is near.”
“So, you too, when (7) you see these things happening, recognize that (7) He is near, right at the door” (Matthew 24:33 NASB). (77)
“So also, (7) when you see these things taking place, you know that (7) he is near, at the very gates” (Mark 13:29 ESV). (77)
“So also, when (7) you see these things happening, you know (7) that the kingdom of God is near” (Luke 21:31 NKJV). (77)
Jesus told His apostles before His ascension that it was not for them “to know the times or the seasons” when the kingdom of God would be established on earth (Acts 1:6-7). Rather, He reserved the understanding of this mystery about “the times and seasons” of His return for the generation that would see “the fig tree and all the trees” come back to life (Luke 21:29-32, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 5:1-11). Watching “all the trees,” as we now know, meant watching all the nations as they come alive in conjunction with the rebirth of Israel before the end of the age. The proliferation of new nations during the 20th century gave new meaning to Luke’s version of the parable of the fig tree when we were told: “watch . . . all the trees.”
“The fig tree” (Israel) officially came back to life in 1948, and “all the trees” (Gentile Nations) have come alive, some before and more after Israel became a nation in 1948. There were 75 states present in the world when Israel became a nation on May 14, 1948. After Israel’s rebirth as a nation, 120 nations have been recognized as independent, sovereign states.
‘12’ = God’s divine government or governance on/of earth.
After observing the coming to life of “the fig tree and all the trees” after World War II and during the second half of the 20th century (1950-2000), we can be assured, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the events that take place just before Jesus’ return are nearing fulfillment. This means His coming is “near, right at the door.” According to Jesus’ words, when “the fig tree and all the trees” put forth leaves (come alive), we are to absolutely and confidently “know” the Kingdom of God is near, and the generation that is living at that time “will not pass away until all is fulfilled.” The preponderance of scriptural and global evidence is overwhelming that we are the generation Jesus was talking about.

Daniel 9:26-27 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people [Palestinians, Arabs/Muslims] of the prince [Beast, Antichrist] that shall come shall destroy the city [Jerusalem] and the sanctuary [Third Temple]; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he [Prince, Beast, Antichrist] shall confirm [verify] the covenant [‘Normalization’, Abraham Accords] with many [MENA, Arabic/Muslim Countries] for one week [7 years]: and in the midst [3.5 Years] of the week [7 Years] he [Prince, Beast, Antichrist] shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate
Isaiah 28:14-19 Wherefore hear the word of the Lord, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.
Daniel 9:26-27 And after threescore (7) and two weeks shall Messiah be cut (7) off, but not for himself: and the (7) people of the prince that shall come (7) shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and (7) the end thereof shall be with a (7) flood, and unto the end of the (7) war desolations are determined. 4(7777) + 4(7777) + 5(77777) = 13×7. Thirteen (‘13’) is God’s Divine Number denoting His ‘Destruction or Wrath’ on Evil Man or Man’kind. In this case, God is referring to the ‘Son of Perdition’ who goes to everlasting destruction in the lake of fire and brimstone. This is the same man described as a ‘beast’ or ‘antichrist’, who agrees to a false seven (7) covenant with Israel. Midway through the tribulation he reneges on he covenent and goes into the Jew’s rebuilt Third Temple and ‘declares himself to be god.’ (Abomination of Desolation.) Seven (‘7’) is God’s Divine Number denoting His ‘Truth or Truthfulness’ of a matter.
How Should Christians Prepare for the End of the End Times?
Alicia Searl Contributing Writer 202318 Oct
Armageddon, doomsday, the apocalypse – no matter how you slice it, the fear has gained quite the momentum over the last couple of years. It has also caused quite a buzz in recent movies and the music industry and is a steady trend on nearly every social media platform. Search the news, and you’ll find “the end times” spilled into those avenues as well.
However, have you noticed how real truth seems harder to come by these days? You have to dig to get past all the conspiracies, slew of opinions, and “personal prophesies” to make any sense of this world. To make matters worse, our culture is feeding and feasting on the fear of it all, and many are taking the bait, searching frantically for answers and longing for peace. So, what should believers be doing in these rather strange times? Should we be preparing for the end times? And if so, how do we do that exactly? While I don’t have all the answers, I do know who does, so let’s see what God has to say about the end times and if (and how) we should prepare.
Yes, We Should Prepare our Heart, Mind, and Soul
Many may be prepping for uncertainty by stocking up on food, buying a bunch of water and supplies, and seeking safe places. While that is totally understandable and even necessary for any kind of emergency, as believers, we need to be ready to stand firm, remain steadfast, and cling tightly to our faith. That is what will get us through “any kind of times.” It isn’t hard to see that the enemy is on a rampage, and the hunt is on to take down as many believers as possible! Mathew 24:10 says that in the end times, many will lose faith. This is a wake-up call for us to be vigilant! We must understand that as bad as it may seem, look, or even feel, nothing will prepare us like getting right with our God.
We can prepare for our families and do what we must to keep them safe and secure, but above all else, we need to prepare our hearts, guard our minds, and feed our souls. If you haven’t studied the end times in-depth, now may be a good time to start. Given the current state of our world, many conclude we could be accelerating toward the catastrophic events leading up to the rapture and the Second Coming of Christ. While we surely are in the “birthing pains,” no matter what day and age we are living in, there is always value in reading His Word, understanding who our God is, and how it can truly change our lives.
So, while our earth has been groaning for quite some time and has befallen to quite a bit of calamity in recent events, we can take heart and know that while darkness is coming, there is so much more in the glory of God (Isaiah 60:2)!
What do we really need to know about the end times? Open your Bible and read through the end times prophesies to gain a better understanding. While it can be overwhelming and a little unclear, as there is much symbolic meaning and imagery, invite God into your heart and seek Him earnestly through prayer to reveal His Truth so you can rely on that when you want to bend to fear.
Here are a few books in the Bible and verses to lean on so you can deeply study to gain wisdom and seek God’s discernment.
Daniel 12– Daniel the prophet predicts a future time of trouble for Israel and shares that in this chapter.
Matthew 24 – Jesus shares with the disciples about the “end of the age” or end times and His return.
Ezekiel 38 and 39 – This is about the great battle the Lord will fight for Israel.
Revelation was written by John to convey hope in these turbulent times. Be sure to read it as a message for believers to encourage us and remain faithful.
A few more verses to dig into: 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 2 Peter 3:3-4, 1 Timothy 4:1, Luke 21:36
Trust God
It’s a lot to take in! And maybe you stop reading this and just ponder the passages above and let God speak to you. I understand that, given the current times we are living in, it can be worrisome and troublesome. Not only that, but reading through the verses and trying to decipher, understand, and make sense of it all can be absolutely mind-boggling. But, the truth is, we don’t have to understand it all, nor were we meant to. God may have created us to be complex and intelligent creatures, but He also commands us to trust in Him.
We see what happens when we choose our way or the way of the world and lean on our own understanding, rather than placing our trust in God (Proverbs 3:5-6). The consequences are that we fall into deep holes of fear and misery. The truth is that even the most faithful believer can be easily swayed and consumed with worry, which is why it is a constant submission, saying “yes” to Him and trusting He is in control of all things (Hebrews 11:1). The beauty of placing our faith in God is that we acquire the gift of the Holy Spirit that lives inside of us helping us seek wisdom and counsel, acknowledging the only thing to fear is by showing reverence to our God Almighty (1 Corinthians 12:8-10).
According to God’s Word and by His will, He has proved time and time again to be faithful, keep to His promises, and be true to His Word (John 17:17, Numbers 23:19, Romans 10:14-17). This means we can trust and know that He will defeat all evil and His kingdom will one day reign (1 Corinthians 15:24). God gives us provisions during these times and tells us to be on guard and be alert, but bending to fear breaks that trust. So, while nobody knows the day, time, or hour of His return and what that will exactly look like, we can rest assured and fully trust that God is with us (Isaiah 41:10).
We can prepare our families now by discussing the importance of our faith and spending time with those we love. Peter also tells us to live holy and Godly lives, looking forward to the Second Coming with anticipation (2 Peter 3:10-12). That should make us belt out a big ‘ole Hallelujah!
Hope Is On the Horizon
Hope is the underlying theme of the Bible. However, we cannot have hope if we are clutching to our worry and anxiety. They simply do not go together; they can’t. While these times may be concerning and cause us to carry heavy hearts for those in harm’s way, we need to remember that God has not abandoned us or forsaken His people (Deuteronomy 31:8).
When the enemy wants to distract you, lead you down paths that cause a whelp in your throat, and provoke anxiety, pause and pray earnestly, inviting God into the crevices of your heart. And seek hope! Here is what we need to understand about our current turbulent times. We can be confident that the final days will be filled with atrocities, mimicking the days of Noah. But, make no mistake, heaven is awaiting, rejoicing, and celebrating as sinners turn their lives over and repent (Luke 15:10). This is a call for us to live with passion and a purpose!
What is God calling you to do right now? How is He asking you to respond to these times? Are there people in your family, friend groups, or social gatherings that need the hope that can only be found in Christ? Now is the time to share that hope with others and do so with boldness and without reservation.
Tribulation is coming; it appears to be on the horizon! But whether you hold a pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, or post-tribulation belief, there will be a time that marks seven years that will unleash God’s divine judgment for all who reject Christ as the promised Messiah.
Who can you think of that needs saving from this? Who needs hope? Friend, now is not the time to panic or prep for doomsday. However, we can prepare for the end times and do so with boldness and conviction by posturing our hearts, minds, and souls humbly before God, digging into His Word, and seeking His wisdom and discernment wholeheartedly. Trust that God is faithful and His promises are true. Then extend the hope to those that need it! Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:8
Ten ‘10’ Denotes God’s divine ‘COMPLETENESS’ as to things on EARTH. In Revelation 10, he is opening up the ancient scrolls and ‘little book’ of prophecy that Daniel was told to ‘SEAL UP’ and not write of what was spoken. He was prophetically being told additional things that would transpire or occur ‘in the end of days’ and during the 7 year tribulation.
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the ‘time of the end’: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the ‘time of the end’.
‘Time of the End’:
Revelation ‘10’ And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
2 And he had in his hand a ‘little book open’: (NWN; Daniels ‘little book’ is now being opened by God’s Great Angel of Prophecy) and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven ‘7’ thunders uttered their voices.
(NWN; I ‘discern’ that these are seven ‘7’ other great prophecy angels who are ‘confirming’ that NOW IS THE TIME to OPEN DANIEL’S ‘END TIME’ Book of Future Prophecy.’)
4 And when the seven ‘7’ thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven ‘7’ thunders uttered, and write them not.
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, ‘7’ that there should be time no longer:
(NWN; The Great Prophecy Angel is proclaiming the ‘LAST DAYS or END TIMES’ have come, in no uncertain terms, and that NOW IS THE TIME to reveal prophecy related TO the Last Days or End Times and Tribulation.)
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh ‘7’ angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
(NWN; Seven ‘7’ denotes God’s divine completion to his plan or purpose for this ‘7th’ prophecy angel to commence and complete prophecy related to the Last Days and End Times. Think of the Great Prophecy Angel as a ‘General’ and the ‘7th’ prophecy angel as a Major or Colonel or someone of rank who has been given authority to physically ‘begin something or start something.’)
8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open (NWN; notice that the ‘little book’ is OPEN) in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
(NWN; the prophecy angel(s) are HANDING the little book to physically alive men on the earth. In essence, they are handing or ‘transferring’ the ‘little book of prophecy’ to physical men ALIVE on the EARTH during the ‘End Times’ or ‘Last Days.’ God conveys prophecy to Angels who in turn are ‘messengers’ of God’s prophecy to mortal men alive. Angels, throughout the past 6,000 years have been ‘messengers’ for God to mankind.)
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
(NWN; this is a ‘discernment’ on my part. ‘Take it and eat it’ is a spiritual ‘consumption’ of understanding the End Times and God’s related prophecies to go along with ‘signs of the times.’ It takes ‘7’ knowledge, wisdom, obedience, humility, persistence, prayer and the Holy Spirit’ to work prophecy in man’kind. This is a great and wonderful thing, just like a ‘7’ course meal. However, once the prophecies are apparent ‘consumed and understood’ they will be prone to make one sick to the stomach because of what they foretell. Just like eating a ’7’ course meal will likely make you feel like you could explode. God’s UNFILTERD WRATH poured on evil man’kind who refuse Him, and refuse His Son Jesus Christ and His eternal offer of salvation. Seeing prophecy happen and unfold is a wonderful and miraculous thing. Understanding the implications of seeing prophecy unfold, leaves one’s stomach bitter and sour because of the ‘gastrointestinal storm’ that is coming. Pass-the-antacid-pills, please.)
10 And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
(NWN; the prophecy angel was prophesying what would happen to anyone who attempted to reveal what was in the ‘little book.’ This verse ‘confirms’ that what was prophesied, did in fact occur and was experienced by those given the task of being Watchmen. This also ‘suggests’ that some men are ‘willingly’ allowing themselves to be Watchmen because they consciously love prophecy (God’s Word) and are completely open and receptive to it.)
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
(NWN; since this is verse ‘11’ it suggests a WARNING(S). The purpose of prophecy is to inform, proclaim and WARN. It suggests that the Watchmen who proclaim the Word of God, will have their ‘7’ words, letters, videos, blogs, sermons, articles and books proclaim God’s WILL to those during the End Times / Last Days and Tribulation period. God has ALWAYS used Holy Angels and physical men (Moses, Elijah, Daniel, Enoch, and others) to speak on behalf of God. He will do this also through the Tribulation via; 1. Prophecy revealed to mankind via his ‘little book’ to Watchmen, 2. The ‘two witnesses’, ‘lampstands’ or candles who proclaims God’s light to the world for the first 3.5 years of the tribulation, 3. The various Angel warnings given to men to NOT TAKE THE MARK of the BEAST and lastly, 4. The 144,000 Jewish Evangelists who have the ‘seal of God’ in their foreheads (and NOT the mark of the Beast) who proclaim Jesus Christ’s offer of Salvation ONE LAST TIME, before the 7 year tribulation ends.)
But how can (7) they call on him (Jesus Christ) to save (7) them unless they believe in Him (Jesus Christ)? (7) And how can they believe in Him (7) (Jesus Christ) if they have never heard about (7) Him (Jesus Christ)? And how can they hear (7) about Him (Jesus Christ) unless someone tells them?” Romans 10:14 (777777)

Jesus Christ’s Offer of Salvation:
The ABCs (7) of Salvation through Jesus Christ (the Lamb)
A. (7) Admit/Acknowledge/Accept that you are sinner. Ask (7) God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins.
. . . “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23).
. . . “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10).
. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8).
B. Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that (7) Jesus Christ is who He claimed to (7) be; that He was both fully God (7) and fully man and that we are (7) saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. (7) Put your trust in Him as your (7) only hope of salvation. Become a son (7) or daughter of God by receiving Christ. (7777777) 7×7
. . . “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:15-17). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).
C. Call upon His name, Confess (7) with your heart and with your lips (7) that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.
. . . “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10).
. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (John 1:8-10).
. . . “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (John 2:2).
. . . “In this was manifested the love of god toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:9, 14-15).
. . . “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:8-10).
. . . “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23).
. . . “Jesus saith unto them, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6).
. . . “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.” (Romans 1:16).
. . . “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts: 4:12).
. . . “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 2:4-6).
. . . “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:9).
. . . “But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1:12).
True Church / Bride of Christ Spared from God’s Wrath:
Romans 5:8-10. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”
Romans 12:19. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 1:10. And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 5:9. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
Romans 8:35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Jeremiah 30:7. Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
