While the pulse of millions of Americans is running high in the wake of the U.S. presidential election, here’s something that could calm you down.

Planet Earth is throbbing every 26 seconds, and while scientists are mystified by the beat, some rabbis believe it has to do with the name of God.

In October, Popular Mechanics reported: “Why is Earth pulsating every 26 seconds, and why can’t scientists explain it after 60 years? This is an enigma wrapped in a periodically predictable mystery motion. It could be a harmonic phenomenon, a regular seismic chirp caused by the sun’s energy, or a beacon drawing scientists to its source to begin a treasure hunt.

“In the early 1960s, a geologist named Jack Oliver first documented the pulse, also known as a ‘microseism,’ according to Discover. Oliver, who worked at Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Geological Observatory at the time, heard the noise, but didn’t have the advanced instruments seismologists have now at his disposal.”

The mystery remained and scientists ignored the microseisms until 1980, when Gary Holcomb, a geologist with the U.S. Geological Survey, discovered they are strongest during storms. It was studied once again in 2006 in Geophysical Research Letters but the cause was still unknown. Some scientists conjecture that subtle seismic activity is constantly present as a result of the sun’s warming effect on the planet.

In 2013, graduate student Garrett Euler narrowed down the source of the pulse even more, to a part of the Gulf of Guinea called the Bight of Bonny, leading him to conjecture the source was indeed the result of ocean waves hitting the coastline.

But in the same year, a team led by Yingjie Xia from the Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics in Wuhan, China suggested that the source of the pulses was a volcano on the island of São Tomé in the Bight of Bonny.

In English, the name of God has been transliterated as YHWH, with the meaning often rendered as “I AM.” Rabbi Lazer Brody, an American-born Hasidic rabbi who teaches on the Lazer Beams blog, says the 26-second pulse of Earth is inspiring.

MORE QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS

Both theories leave as many questions as answers. There is no dearth of volcanoes or beaches in the world so why are the microseisms limited to that one site? Why the intervals? Why 26 seconds?

In the glacier-paced world of geology, these are not urgent questions. “There are certain things that we concentrate on in seismology,” Doug Wiens from Washington University in St. Louis told Discover Magazine. “We want to determine the structure beneath the continents, things like that. This is just a little bit outside what we would typically study … [since] it doesn’t have anything to do with understanding the deep structure of the Earth.” 

“We’re still waiting for the fundamental explanation of the cause of this phenomenon,” Mike Ritzwoller, a seismologist at the University of Colorado, Boulder, added. “I think the point [of all this] is there are very interesting, fundamental phenomena in the earth that are known to exist out there and remain secret.”

26: THE NAME OF GOD

Despite scientists being perplexed by the phenomenon, Bible scholars hold the answer to at least one of the questions. The 26-second duration of the microseismic pulse is explained by the gematria (Hebrew numerology) of God’s name. י-ה-ו-ה, spelled out by the Hebrew letters yod heh vav heh equals 26. 

THE THREE ANSWERS: FAITH, FAITH, AND MORE FAITH

Rabbi Lazer Brody, an American-born Hasidic rabbi and teacher with a blog called Lazer Beams, saw the scientific discovery as just another source of emuna (belief).

“There are so many secrets, places where we can discover HaShem (God, literally the name),” Rabbi Brody said. “I focus on simple faith and science is just a different part of that. The more you get Emunah, the more you will see these things that confirm Hashem’s presence in the world.”

NATURE’S CONVERSATION WITH THE CREATOR

Rabbi Shlomo Katz,  spiritual leader of Congregation Shirat David in Efrat and a student of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, was deeply inspired by the scientific discovery.

 “It is very consoling, Rabbi Katz said. “In these last stages before the geula (final redemption), it is clearly important to be in tune, even literally, with the planet. Being religious, being close to HaShem, is much more than just what goes on in church or synagogue, or what you read in a book. We need to be sensitive to the quest, to nature, to see how the entire world fits into God’s plan. Science and nature have to be part of our conversation with God.”

“God could have made the world in an infinite number of ways but here we see that every detail is for His glory,” Rabbi Katz said.

MOUNTAINS DANCING FOR THE CREATOR

Rabbi Shaul Judelman, former director of the Ecology Beit Midrash, a religious study group focused on the environment as it is treated in classical Jewish sources, cited a Biblical source for what he called, ‘the earth dancing for Hashem.”

What alarmed you, O sea, that you fled, Yarden, that you ran backward, mountains, that you skipped like rams, hills, like sheep? Tremble, O earth, at the presence of Hashem, at the presence of the God of Yaakov. Psalms 114:5-7

“The sages were careful observers of nature and that was where they discovered God,” Rabbi Judelman said. “They were very much in the world. Back then, that was science; observing nature and trying to understand it. There was no conflict between faith and science. Absolutely the opposite. They complemented each other. Delving into the world, nature and how it works, revealing more of God.”

“But we have fallen into a space where we think we have to destroy science to protect faith or destroy faith to advance science. That isn’t so and in fact, we need both sides in order to grow and move towards geula.”

US President Donald Trump has predicted that Saudi Arabia will be among up to 10 further countries preparing to ‘normalize’ their relations with Israel.

The meaning was obvious: The country [Saudi Arabia] is tired of waiting for Palestinians to make peace and is preparing to move on. The message to foreign capitals, perhaps to Washington in particular, is equally clear: The time is coming when a deal may be done.

Prophetic Discernment: Two ‘Scenarios’. I am not ‘dogmatic’ about either one. Other scenarios could come into play. THE POINT … is how close we are!

1. Trump may still yet get the Beast to agree for ‘MENA’ the ‘CURRENT’ plan, SHORTLY, in the few remaining days left in the ‘Last Trump’ or ‘Last Trumpence’ Presidency. Saudis may be ‘nervous’ about the Biden election and want to get the ‘deal done and finished’ while Trump is in the twilight of his presidency.

3. Biden/Harris may work to ‘ENHANCE’ the plan by the literal splitting of Jerusalem along the 1967 lines. An ‘exchange’ of sovereignty to get a temple for the Jews and to give the Beast custodianship of al-Aqsa … that which he covets. The plan will be ‘ENHANCED’ (investment wise for the Palestinians) for Seven (7) years. Perhaps the investment amount will also be increased.

2. Beast ‘ENHANCES’ the plan under Biden, by splitting Jerusalem along 1967 lines. In a ‘Give up Sovereignty, Get a Temple’ scenario. The plan finally gets ‘CONFIRMED’ or approved shortly, under Biden/Harris (Deceiver-in-Chief and Jezebel-in-Chief).

Either way, the Rapture / Harpazo / Redemption / ‘Twinkling’ is imminent.

Prophecy has a ‘window.’ That window is closing shortly and quickly. As is the door in the ‘Age of Grace’ for the world.

Night Watchman Note; ‘THE GRAND DADDY SIGN’. That is what ‘watchmen or women’ do. Jesus made clear that when He actually does come for His disciples, His wise and faithful servants would be aware of the time because they would be watching. They would know the season of the times by WATCHING those things ‘coming to pass or occurring’ as Jesus said they would. The ‘BENCHMARK SIGN(s)’ always point towards Israel / Jacob. God’s prophetic timepiece. The FALSE PEACE COVENANT confirmed by the Prince/Beast among MENA (the many) is the ‘key sign’ of the times or the season of the times. Yes, we are in that period. The Prince/Beast will likely confirm and enhance the current ‘normalization’ agreement with Jacob to be a ‘peace’ agreement, to be extended to 7 years from the current 5 years, to include some agreement permitting the rebuilding of the third temple in exchange for ‘some portion of Jerusalem.’ The current ‘investment’ period for the Palestinians stands at five (5) years. This will likely occur AFTER the Bride, Disciples or True Church is removed from the earth via the Rapture / Harpazo / Redemption / ‘Twinkling’.
