Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. Just this month, we have witnessed events that have brought the world closer to the time when we will watch the Lord open the seven seals. What follows are but a couple of examples of this.
On Sunday, November 17, President Biden took the world a giant step closer to a nuclear world war by allowing Ukraine to fire U.S. missiles into Russia, which happened two days later. As I write, we await Vladimir Putin’s response. Will he carry through on his threats of a nuclear response? If nothing else, the President’s decision has put many people on edge and will surely escalate the war, resulting in the deaths of many more people.
And just this past week, the U.S. debt total passed the thirty-six trillion-dollar mark. There’s no rational explanation for why the American economy hasn’t completely collapsed with worldwide implications that align with Revelation 6:5-6.
Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and POWER WAS GIVEN HIM OVER ALL KINDREDS, AND TONGUES, AND NATIONS.
SUDDENLY
How does this seeming delay fit with Bible prophecy? 1 Thessalonians 5:3 reveals that when the world falls off the edge into the coming series of catastrophic events, it will happen abruptly and unexpectedly: “FOR WHEN THEY SHALL SAY, PEACE AND SAFETY; THEN SUDDEN DESTRUCTION COMETH UPON THEM, AS TRAVAIL UPON A WOMAN WITH CHILD; AND THEY SHALL NOT ESCAPE.”
In a moment, everything will change. The word normal will remain in dictionaries, but any sense of normality will instantly disappear.
As New Testament saints, we will disappear in the “twinkling of an eye” (1 Corinthians 15:52). The Lord will instantly change our mortal bodies into ones that will never perish or grow old. We will immediately experience the eternal life that we now possess through faith.
Our departure alone will cause a rapid deterioration of any remaining sense of calm and result in great chaos throughout the world. I believe that THE ANTICHRIST WILL BEGIN HIS CRUSADE FOR PEACE IN THE WEEKS OR PERHAPS MONTHS AFTER THE RAPTURE.
Revelation 1:1 provides us with another indication of just how quickly world conditions will deteriorate.
The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place.
The Greek word for “soon” in this verse is tachos, which more often denotes the speed or quickness of an action. John is not saying that the prophecies of the apocalypse would happen soon, at least with how we reckon time, but rather that they would happen quickly. LIKE A LARGE BOULDER ROLLING DOWNHILL, THEY WILL HAPPEN WITH INCREASED SPEED AND INTENSITY.
Yes, the Bible tells us that THE TRIBULATION WILL LAST SEVEN YEARS, BEGINNING WITH A PEACE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE ANTICHRIST AND ISRAEL. However, the Day of the Lord will begin suddenly and continue with a series of judgments that will continue in rapid-fire succession. The experience of “sudden destruction” will repeat over and over again through the Tribulation.
THE WARNING
Everywhere we look, we see precursors to the fulfillment of so many things that we read about in the book of Revelation and, in particular, chapters 6 and 13. As a result, some mistakenly believe that the four horsemen of the apocalypse are already riding through the earth. I believe THE LORD IS ALLOWING THE WORLD TO SEE GLIMPSES OF WHAT LIES AHEAD AS A WARNING OF WHAT’S TO COME.
At the moment, the world is speeding down the road to a nuclear war. Could we be hours, days, or weeks away from the “sudden destruction” that will inaugurate the Day of the Lord after we are safely in Heaven with Jesus? Yes, we are that close to the Lord’s appearing. Or might He continue to restrain the forces that He has allowed to take the world to the edge of suddenly?
If nothing else, the events of the past few weeks should be a wake-up call of just how quickly our lives can instantly change. I know that many in the world still cling to the belief that normality will prevail, but what about the church?
Sadly, many saints plan for their future with no thought of the Lord’s nearing intervention in their future aspirations nor with any consideration of the warning that comes from James 4:13-17.

Saudi Arabia is shelling out trillions of dollars TO REBRAND ITSELF AS A GLOBAL HUB OF INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY, WITH FUTURISTIC “GIGA-PROJECTS” TO BOTH STRENGTHEN ITS ECONOMY AND ELEVATE ITS GLOBAL STANDING.
The kingdom has so far relied on its natural resources for POLITICAL LEGITIMACY AND ECONOMIC STABILITY. However, climate change and the resulting global pivot toward renewables threatens to jeopardize its fossil fuel-derived state wealth, forcing the country and its leadership to conjure up new means of self-sustainment.
“Saudi Arabia is in dire need to diversify its economy by investing into non-oil sectors such as tourism, entertainment or sports,” Sebastian Sons, Senior researcher at the Center for Applied Research in Partnership with the Orient (CARPO), told Newsweek.
Central to this strategy, he said, was INVESTMENT IN LARGE-SCALE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS—OR GIGA-PROJECTS—THAT “RAISE INTERNATIONAL ATTENTION, PROMOTE SAUDI ARABIA AS AN ATTRACTIVE HUB FOR ECONOMIC COOPERATION WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS, GENERATE FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENTS, AND CREATE JOBS FOR SAUDI NATIONALS.”
This strategic rebrand is being conducted through the FRAMEWORK OF VISION 2030, CROWN PRINCE MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN‘S AMBITIOUS ROAD MAP TO RESHAPE SAUDI SOCIETY AND BOOST THE KINGDOM’S GLOBAL APPEAL.
Saudi Arabia’s giga-projects
THE LARGEST GIGA-PROJECT CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION IS NEOM BABYLON, AN URBAN “ECONOMIC ZONE” ON THE RED SEA COAST THAT IT IS HOPED WILL COVER AN AREA OF OVER 10,000 SQUARE MILES. THE FLAGSHIP PROJECT OF VISION 2030, AND “ONE OF THE CROWN PRINCE’S HIGHEST PRIORITIES” ACCORDING TO BLOOMBERG, THE ESTIMATED COSTS OF NEOM RANGE FROM $500 BILLION TO AS HIGH AS $1.5 TRILLION.
The most discussed feature of Neom is “The Line,” a 110-mile long, 200-meter wide linear city described by its developers as ” a revolution in urban living.” It will have “no roads, cars or emissions,” according to Neom’s website, and will eventually accommodate 9 million people. When first announced in 2021, the project’s estimated cost was around $100 billion to $200 billion. However, it is likely that these projections have ballooned, as reports have emerged that Saudi Arabia may need to scale back the project.
Other elements of Neom include the floating city Oxagon, the ultramodern waterfront community Norlana, and Utamo, a “theater of the future” located in a mountain along the Gulf of Aqaba coastline.
Beyond NEOM BABYLON, several more ambitious projects have been launched as part of VISION 2030. These include Qiddiya, a $40 billion entertainment-focused city, Dirya, a giga-project filled with luxury hotels costing an estimated $63.2 billion, and the Jeddah Central Project, a $19.9 billion development in the heart of Saudi Arabia’s second largest city.
However, despite the luster and promise of these plans, the kingdom appears burdened by its heavy focus on giga-projects, and currently forecasts running at a budgetary deficit over the next few years as it attempts to get these VISION 2030 INITIATIVES off the ground.
Newsweek has reached out to both NEOM BABYLON and the Saudi Foreign Ministry for comments on the projects discussed in this article.
Why is Saudi Arabia Spending So Much on These Projects?
ECONOMIC DIVERSIFICATION LIES AT THE HEART OF SAUDI ARABIA’S MISSION, DRIVEN BY ITS LEADERS’ UNDERSTANDING THAT THEIR OIL-DERIVED WEALTH MAY SOON RUN DRY.
Saudi Arabia can make use of its sizable sovereign wealth fund to finance these projects before benefiting from the resulting tourism and foreign direct investment it hopes they will attract. However, experts argue that this alone may be insufficient to ensure the successful completion of the projects.
“Even with all the billions that Saudi Arabia has, WHAT IT NEEDS IS FOREIGN INVESTMENT TO MAKE THAT TRANSFORMATION,” James Lynch, founding co-director of human rights-focused think tank FairSquare, told Newsweek. “TO GET THE FOREIGN INVESTMENT TO KIND OF MAKE THIS PLAN HAPPEN, YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE IMAGE. You have to be seen as somewhere where business wants to be and wants to actually put its money.”
THIS RELIES ON CREATING THE NARRATIVE THAT SAUDI ARABIA IS A “FORWARD-THINKING COUNTRY” LYNCH ARGUES, A NARRATIVE THAT IS STRENGTHENED BY FUTURISTIC PROJECTS LIKE NEOM BABYLON.
“With NEOM BABYLON, THE SAUDI LEADERSHIP PRESENTS ITSELF AS A MODERN, INNOVATIVE, OUT-OF-THE-BOX THINKING DECISION-MAKER THAT AIMS TO TRANSFORM NEOM BABYLON INTO A NEW ‘SILICON VALLEY’ AND PUSH IT AS A SYMBOL FOR A ‘NEW SAUDI ARABIA’ BY PARTICULARLY REACHING OUT TO INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS AND POTENTIAL INVESTORS,” Sons of CARPO said.
Many of these projects have already drummed up significant interest from foreign investors, according to Saudi Arabia, while also receiving substantial financial backing from the country’s Public Investment Fund.
“I think foreign investors are starting to come to NEOM BABYLON, they’re starting to channel capital,” the country’s investment minister Khalid al-Falih told Reuters on Monday.
However, experts also said that the giga-projects included within VISION 2030—OFTEN DUBBED THE BRAINCHILD OF MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN—ALLOW THE CROWN PRINCE TO BRING HIS OWN VISION OF SAUDI ARABIA TO FRUITION, WHILE CEMENTING HIS PLACE AS ITS DE FACTO RULER.
“Certainly, VISION 2030 SERVES AS AN AGENDA TO PROMOTE HIS DECISIVE LEADERSHIP STYLE, PRESENTING HIMSELF AS AN ARCHITECT OF A TRANSFORMING KINGDOM IN WHICH SUCH PROJECTS PLAY A RELEVANT ROLE,” Sons said. “He wants to show his population and THE WORLD THAT SAUDI ARABIA IS CHANGING UNDER HIS LEADERSHIP AND THUS AIMS TO IMPROVE HIS PERSONAL IMAGE AND PRESERVE THE LOYALTY OF HIS PEOPLE.”
“THIS IS PART OF [MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN] STAMPING HIS IDENTITY ON THE COUNTRY,” Lynch told Newsweek. He added that large-scale construction projects, which involve extensive contracting opportunities, enable him to maintain the support of the country’s ruling class, providing “an efficient way of distributing rent among the elites, [giving] critical groups in society a piece of the benefit of this public wealth.”
Projects of this magnitude have another impact, according to Lynch, as they inevitably attract interest and headlines focused on Saudi Arabia’s “crazy wild plans.”
“IT DILUTES THE STRENGTH, ARGUABLY, OF HUMAN RIGHTS STORIES,” he said. Rebranding Saudi Arabia relies on capturing attention for reasons other than the country’s poor record on political rights, women’s rights and civil liberties. “I THINK THIS IS ABOUT NORMALIZING SAUDI ARABIA,” Lynch added. “IT REDUCES THE POLITICAL COST THAT THE STATE PAYS FOR ITS OTHER BEHAVIOR. WHETHER THAT BE HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS OR REPRESSION OF DISSENT AND SO ON.”

However, THE PROJECTS HAVE ONLY SERVED TO INTENSIFY SCRUTINY OF THE REGIME’S HUMAN RIGHTS RECORD. “The Saudi government’s trillion dollar mega-projects, in particular the futuristic city of NEOM BABYLON, HAVE SO FAR DELIVERED A GREAT DEAL OF HARM TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES DISPLACED AS A RESULT, AND TO THE MIGRANT WORKERS SUBJECT TO SEVERE EXPLOITATION, BUT PRODUCED LITTLE OF VALUE OR BENEFIT TO THE SAUDI PEOPLE,” Sarah Leah Whitson,
Last week, HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATION ALQST RELEASED A BRIEFING PAPER ON THE “WIDE RANGE OF CONCERNS” REGARDING THE NEOM PROJECT.
“ALREADY, NEOM BABYLON’S DEVELOPMENT HAS LED TO FORCED EVICTIONS AND BRUTAL REPRESSION OF LOCAL INHABITANTS,” its authors wrote. “Construction will likely be carried out by HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF MIGRANT WORKERS WITH FEW RIGHTS AND LITTLE FREEDOM. CURRENT PROPOSALS, IF BROUGHT TO FRUITION, WILL CREATE A DYSTOPIAN URBAN ENVIRONMENT AND ECOLOGICAL CATASTROPHE.”

IRAN SEEKS ‘LASTING PEACE’ WITH SAUDI ARABIA AMID REGIONAL DIPLOMACY PUSH
Iran eyes peace with Saudi Arabia to focus on stability as part of its bid for diplomatic dominance in the region.

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Majid Takht Ravanchi said that Tehran is seeking to establish a lasting peace with Saudi Arabia, according to Iran state media IRNA.
The comments are important, because IRAN IS SEEKING TO REVOLUTIONIZE ITS DIPLOMATIC TIES ACROSS THE REGION. Toward that end, Iran’s foreign minister has made key trips and is seeking inroads into traditional Western allies. This includes not only Saudi Arabia but also Egypt.
In other cases, IRAN IS SEEKING CLOSER TIES WITH RUSSIA and cementing its ties to the Syrian regime. THIS IS ALL PART OF HOW TEHRAN EXPLOITS THE WAR ON ISRAEL AND THE USE OF ITS PROXIES, TO ALSO CONDUCT A MULTI-PRONGED OFFENSIVE IN THE REGION.
The goal of this offensive is to hand the region a fait accompli in terms of Iranian dominance, regardless of whether Israel defeats Hezbollah and Hamas.
Tehran will want to show the incoming US administration of President-elect Donald Trump that it is Iran that calls the shots. Any “maximum pressure” campaign will be harder this time, the Islamic Republic thinks.
SAUDI ARABIA IS KEY TO THIS, BECAUSE IRAN DOESN’T WANT THE KINGDOM TO NORMALIZE TIES WITH ISRAEL. “Speaking to Asharq Al-Awsat during his visit to Riyadh on Friday, Takht Ravanchi reaffirmed Iran and SAUDI ARABIA’S MUTUAL DETERMINATION TO ESTABLISH ENDURING PEACE AND STABILITY ACROSS THE WEST ASIA REGION,” IRNA noted. “Achieving this goal requires sustained bilateral and regional cooperation to address existing threats and BUILD A FOUNDATION FOR PROSPERITY AND SECURITY, he added.”
The goal of the comments is also to influence media in the region outside of the Iranian state media bubble. The Iranian official “described the Saudi-Iranian efforts as a SUCCESSFUL MODEL OF BILATERAL AND MULTILATERAL COOPERATION AIMED AT FOSTERING PEACE, SECURITY, AND DEVELOPMENT. The official underscored the importance of historical ties and the principle of good neighborliness as the basis for advancing this relationship,” the report said.
He has also worked with China and the Saudis in the past. This related to something called THE SAUDI-CHINESE-IRANIAN TRILATERAL COMMITTEE, “WHICH WAS RECENTLY HELD AS A FOLLOW-UP TO A BEIJING-MEDIATED AGREEMENT THAT RESTORED DIPLOMATIC TIES BETWEEN TEHRAN AND RIYADH IN MARCH 2023,” IRNA reported.
“THE IRANIAN OFFICIAL DESCRIBED THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE TRILATERAL MEETING AS CORDIAL AND TRANSPARENT, SAYING THAT IT PROVIDED THE THREE COUNTRIES WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO PROGRESS THEIR ‘POSITIVE’ TIES.”
SAUDI ARABIA HAS ITS OWN ‘DEAL OF THE CENTURY’ FOR TRUMP

As the Middle East prepares for the return of President-elect Donald Trump to the White House, SAUDI ARABIA IS LOOKING TO STRIKE A DEAL WITH WASHINGTON REFLECTIVE OF ITS ASCENDING GEOPOLITICAL STATUS AND THE VAST CHANGES THAT HAVE SWEPT THROUGH THE VOLATILE REGION OVER THE PAST FOUR YEARS.
Trump’s election victory this month came as Washington and Riyadh remained locked in negotiations toward A GRAND DEAL THAT WOULD INCLUDE U.S. SECURITY ASSURANCES FOR SAUDI ARABIA AND CLOSER COOPERATION IN VARIOUS FIELDS, SUCH AS NUCLEAR DEVELOPMENT. At the same time, President Joe Biden‘s administration has also sought to establish diplomatic ties between Israel and Saudi Arabia in the vein of a series of agreements known as the Abraham Accords that Trump oversaw with four Arab nations in 2020.
If Trump seeks to expand his own legacy of normalizing Arab ties with Israel to secure the deal with Riyadh that has eluded the current administration, SAUDI OBSERVERS SAY THE INCOMING U.S. LEADER WILL NEED TO LEVERAGE HIS CLOSE TIES WITH ISRAEL IN ORDER TO ADVANCE THE CAUSE OF PALESTINIAN STATEHOOD.
“There is one crucial thing the Trump administration must understand well: it is wishful thinking on their part to assume that Saudi Arabia will join the Abraham Accords for free,” Salman al-Ansari, a prominent Saudi political analyst, told Newsweek. “A PALESTINIAN STATE IS A MUST AND AN ABSOLUTE PREREQUISITE FOR NORMALIZATION WITH ISRAEL.”
A TWO-STATE SOLUTION HAS LONG SERVED AS THE BASIS FOR U.S. DIPLOMACY TOWARD THE ISRAELI-PALESTINIAN CONFLICT, NOW IN THE THROES OF ITS DEADLIEST EPISODE SINCE THE FEUD FIRST ERUPTED IN 1948. The current war, sparked by an unprecedented Hamas-led attack against Israel on October 7, 2023, has both brought the issue back into the international spotlight and at the same time threatened to upend traditional approaches.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has increasingly questioned the idea of a Palestinian state as his forces seek to inflict a lasting defeat against Hamas in the Gaza Strip and his far-right allies openly discuss the potential annexation of the West Bank. Settlers on land internationally recognized as Palestinian territory have also welcomed Trump’s victory as well as his hard-liner nominations such as former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee for U.S. ambassador to Israel.
FOR SAUDI ARABIA, THE ANSWER TO THE CONFLICT REMAINS ROOTED IN THE ARAB PEACE INITIATIVE, A 10-POINT PROPOSAL FIRST INTRODUCED BY THE KINGDOM AND ENDORSED BY THE ARAB LEAGUE IN 2002. THE PLAN CALLS ON ISRAEL TO CONCEDE ALL TERRITORIES OCCUPIED AFTER THE 1967 SIX-DAY WAR, INCLUDING EAST JERUSALEM, PARTS OF THE WEST BANK, THE GOLAN HEIGHTS AND ANY OTHER SEIZED LANDS IN EXCHANGE FOR A COMPREHENSIVE ARAB-ISRAELI PEACE, SECURITY GUARANTEES AND MUTUAL RECOGNITION.
With less than two months before Trump is set to retake U.S. leadership, Ansari said it’s still “too early to tell” precisely how Trump planned to handle this issue. But he saw “a mixture of optimism and pessimism” from the perspective of Saudi Arabia.
“The optimism comes from the fact that Mr. Trump has a positive precedent with us and worked hard to deepen the Saudi-U.S. economic partnership,” Ansari said. “On the other hand, the pessimism may come from his new appointees, especially the U.S. ambassador to Israel, who seems to be on the far right with regard to supporting Israel, disregarding basic humanitarian and international laws.”
“I think Mr. Trump gave Israel more than they had ever imagined during his first administration,” he added, “and IT WOULD BE WISE FOR HIM TO REAP THE FRUITS BY BEING IN A POSITION TO WAIT FOR THEM TO OFFER HIM SOMETHING—A SERIOUS PEACE PLAN WITH THE PALESTINIANS.”
Throughout his first administration, Trump developed close ties with Saudi Arabia and its royal family, PARTICULARLY CROWN PRINCE MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN, WHO ROSE TO BECOME HEIR APPARENT AND DE FACTO RULER DURING THIS TIME. TRUMP HAILED THE PROSPECT OF GREATER ARMS SALES TO THE KINGDOM AND VETOED CONGRESSIONAL ATTEMPTS TO BLOCK U.S. WEAPONS DEALS OVER HUMAN RIGHTS CONCERNS related to the war in Yemen.
Biden, on the other hand, began his presidency in a far colder position in relation to Saudi Arabia, having referred to the nation as a “pariah” on the campaign trail and, in one of his first major foreign policy decisions upon coming to office in 2021, halting offensive arms transfers to Riyadh. Biden also ran into several high-profile disputes with Saudi Arabia, which denied U.S. appeals to ramp up oil production among soaring energy costs associated with Russia’s war in Ukraine in 2022.
Still, Ansari said that Saudi Arabia had found success in working with Democratic and Republican leadership in the U.S., noting specifically the efforts of current U.S. ambassador to Saudi Arabia Michael Ratney, who he said had “worked actively and smartly to enrich this partnership through mutual respect and by addressing bilateral challenges and aspirations.”
Trump also incurred some wrath from the Kingdom during his previous time in office, particularly in February 2020 when he jointly announced with Netanyahu a new plan, widely referred to as a “deal of the century,” to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The proposal was rejected by Saudi Arabia as well as Hamas and the Palestinian National Authority.
Trump’s fervently pro-Israel policies were met with widespread Arab indignation on other occasions as well, including over his controversial decisions to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to the DISPUTED HOLY CITY OF JERUSALEM and his recognition of Israel’s annexation of the Golan Heights from Syria.
While Palestinians also rebuffed the 2020 Abraham Accords that ultimately won over the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan, the initiative served as a milestone in Israeli-Arab relations. They also undermined the conditions set forth by the Arab Peace Initiative and thus far Saudi Arabia has been unwilling to break with its 2002 proposal.
The current geopolitical realities and the raging conflict that has erupted in the Middle East could make a follow-up deal even more complicated.
“For President Donald Trump, his big win in the 2024 presidential election strengthens his position domestically, but he faces a different reality in foreign policy,” Azam al-Shdadi, a Saudi foreign affairs expert and member of the Kingston University Political Science Association, told Newsweek. “Today, the situation in the Middle East has changed radically compared to his first term, especially with the escalation of tensions fueled by Israel in the region.”
The war that began between Hamas and Israel has since expanded to include a constellation of Iran-led factions known as the Axis of Resistance, as well as Tehran itself. Trump previously sought to align Arab partners against Iran, but Riyadh has since chosen to stabilize its tense relationship with Tehran by reestablishing diplomatic relations in a deal brokered by China in March 2023.
This pact between the two rival regional powers holds today in spite of the chaos that has broken out across the region. The Arabian Peninsula has also largely been spared from the turmoil, with the notable exception of Saudi Arabia’s southern neighbor Yemen, where the powerful Ansar Allah, or Houthi movement, continues to launch missiles and drones against Israel as well as hundreds of vessels accused of supporting it in nearby waters.
The resilience of the China-sponsored Iran-Saudi deal has proven a serious challenge for the U.S. as it struggles to reassert itself as a top Middle East influencer and more broadly contends with the People’s Republic for global superpower status.
“The success of the Saudi-Iranian agreement represents a test for China’s role as a peace mediator,” Shdadi said. “So far, the agreement has proven successful, as confirmed by the Saudi-Chinese-Iranian Tripartite Joint Committee in its last meeting on November 19, 2024.”
Shdadi cited late veteran U.S. diplomat Henry Kissinger, who in a March 2023 interview with The Washington Post called the new Iran-Saudi deal “a substantial change in the strategic situation in the Middle East.” Kissinger, who passed away later that year, likened Saudi Arabia’s balancing act in the region to the efforts of the U.S. to exploit tensions between China and the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
With China now the leading competitor, Beijing has already overtaken Washington in terms of diplomacy and several other key metrics. SAUDI ARABIA, LONG STRICTLY ALIGNED WITH THE U.S., NOW COMMANDS THE POSITION OF BEING ABLE TO EXERT ITS OWN LEVERAGE.
THE KINGDOM HOLDS UNIQUE INFLUENCE IN THE ARAB AND ISLAMIC WORLDS DUE TO ITS CUSTODIANSHIP OF ISLAM’S TWO HOLIEST SITES, MECCA AND MEDINA. IT ALSO ASSUMES A LEADING STATUS IN THE ARAB LEAGUE, GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL AND ORGANIZATION OF ISLAMIC COOPERATION, REPRESENTS ONE OF FASTEST GROWING ECONOMIES OF THE G20 AND IS ON THE PRECIPICE OF JOINING BRICS, AN ECONOMIC COALITION THAT COUNTS GREAT POWERS CHINA AND RUSSIA AS LEADERS.

“DIVERSIFYING RELATIONS WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE INTERESTS OF OTHER PARTIES HAS MADE THE KINGDOM A RELIABLE PARTNER CAPABLE OF OVERCOMING INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGES,” Shdadi said. “The real test now is the ability of the new U.S. administration to adopt policies that keep pace with this changing reality and ensure the benefit of the strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia in a way that SERVES REGIONAL AND GLOBAL STABILITY.”
Iran, for its part, has since accepted BRICS membership and become a full-fledged member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, another China and Russia-initiated bloc of which Saudi Arabia became a dialogue partner in 2023.
Still, the underlying feud between the revolutionary Shiite Islamic Republic of Iran and nationalist Sunni Muslim Kingdom of Saudi Arabia runs deep as they continue to engage in their own regional competition for influence. Riyadh also remains concerned over Iran’s accelerating nuclear program despite Tehran’s constant assurances that it did not seek to obtain weapons of mass destruction.
The limits on Iran’s uranium enrichment, centrifuge production and other related areas set by the multilateral nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) have increasingly collapsed since Trump abandoned the accord in 2018. While initially skeptical of agreement, the recent recalibration of the dynamic between Riyadh and Tehran has led the Kingdom to also see the benefits of such an agreement.
But Shdadi felt Trump may also shift on the Iran nuclear deal given the fast-changing developments of the region.
“Trump’s previous position rejecting the agreement may change in light of the new reality, as the Middle East is witnessing a calming down between Saudi Arabia and Iran,” he said. “The Iranian regime is showing unprecedented flexibility due to economic pressures and Israeli attacks, which makes dialogue on a new formula for the nuclear agreement possible. Saudi Arabia will play a major role in any future negotiations due to its developing relationship with Iran.”
“The recent diplomatic thaw between Saudi Arabia and Iran represents a significant shift in our foreign policy,” Alhamed told Newsweek. “Maintaining open channels of communication with Tehran has helped us manage regional tensions and avoid becoming embroiled in conflicts that do not serve our interests. However, we must remain vigilant.”
He added: “An aggressive stance between Israel and Iran could destabilize the region and threaten our security. The Kingdom must prioritize its interests by advocating for a balanced approach that discourages escalation and promotes dialogue rather than confrontation.”
“IT’S IMPORTANT TO RECOGNIZE THAT SAUDI ARABIA HAS VARIOUS ALTERNATIVES AND WILL PURSUE ITS INTERESTS REGARDLESS OF U.S. AGENDAS,” Alhamed said. “THE KINGDOM IS AWARE THAT THE U.S. CANNOT IMPOSE RADICAL POLICIES ON OTHER COUNTRIES OR SOCIETIES IF THEY DO NOT ALIGN WITH THEIR CORE INTERESTS.”
YET THE IDEOLOGIES THAT DRIVE TRUMP AND CROWN PRINCE MOHAMMED IN THEIR RESPECTIVE VISIONS TO RESHAPE THEIR COUNTRIES ALIGN IN MANY WAYS. THE PRESIDENT-ELECT’S “AMERICA FIRST” PLATFORM RESOUNDS HEAVILY WITH THE TRANSFORMATIVE, INCREASINGLY NATIONALIST PATH ON WHICH RIYADH’S MONARCH-IN-WAITING HAS EMBARKED.
Overall, SAUDI ARABIA IS COMMITTED TO FOSTERING A RELATIONSHIP THAT PRIORITIZES STABILITY, SECURITY, AND MUTUAL RESPECT.”
TRUMP AND CROWN PRINCE MOHAMMED OFTEN LIKEN THEMSELVES AS PEACEMAKERS IN THE MIDDLE EAST. BUT AS RIYADH’S YOUNG ROYAL PROGRESSES TOWARD HIS AMBITIOUS “VISION 2030” PLAN, HE’S ALSO LOOKING TO CEMENT HIS PLACE IN HISTORY AS THE ARAB LEADER WHO FINALLY SECURED A PALESTINIAN STATE—OR ELSE RISK A MAJOR BLOW TO HIS LEGITIMACY.
“It’s important to note that the security agreements discussed do not necessarily include normalization of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia,” Alhamed said. “Any potential agreement must be approached with caution, as THE KINGDOM HAS ALWAYS BEEN A STAUNCH ADVOCATE FOR PALESTINIAN RIGHTS. FAILING TO ADDRESS THIS FUNDAMENTAL ISSUE COULD RESULT IN SIGNIFICANT REGIONAL BACKLASH AS SAUDI ARABIA LEADING THE MUSLIM WORLD.”
Alhamed, Ansari and Shdadi all said that the Saudi position on this key issue was unwavering. Also backing this point was Abdullah bin Farah al-Shaya, a retired brigadier general who previously served as a Saudi military attaché in Washington.
The Trump administration should also “realize the importance of sincere cooperation with SAUDI ARABIA, WHICH OCCUPIES A LEADING POSITION IN THE ARAB, ISLAMIC AND INTERNATIONAL ARENAS, AND TO DEAL WITH IT AS A STRATEGIC PARTNER IN ALL AREAS, INCLUDING THE POLITICAL AND SECURITY ASPECT IN RESOLVING CONFLICTS AND DISPUTES IN THE MIDDLE EAST, ESPECIALLY THE PALESTINIAN-ISRAELI CONFLICT FILE,” he said.
“Trump and his political team must know that the Saudi position on this file is fair, frank and not debatable,” Shaya said. “IT ADHERES TO THE STABILITY OF ITS HISTORICAL AND JUST POSITION ON THIS ISSUE, AND IT ALWAYS ANNOUNCES AND REPEATS IN ALL INTERNATIONAL FORUMS ITS DEMAND FOR ISRAEL TO END THESE BLOODY CONFLICTS BY ACCEPTING THE ARAB PEACE INITIATIVE.”

But given Netanyahu’s “refusal to accept this initiative,” Shaya said, “Saudi Arabia hopes that Trump will assume his responsibilities as the next president of the United States of America to take a historic position on this issue.”
In doing so, Shaya said Trump should undergo an effort to “show more interaction and to move away from the futile diplomacy of procrastination and to direct his political team to the need for serious cooperation with all relevant parties, especially Saudi Arabia, to contribute directly, effectively and fairly to resolving and ending this ongoing and painful political and security conflict.”

Prior to the Abraham Accords, Egypt and Jordan were the only Arab nations to have forged diplomatic relations with Israel in peace deals brokered in 1979 and 1994, respectively. Mauritania also temporarily established ties with Israel in 1999 but discarded them in 2010 after the outbreak of one of several wars in Hamas-held Gaza that preceded the current conflict.
While the U.S. continues to extoll support for Israel, the ongoing war has spurred a new round of diplomatic relations with the U.N.-recognized State of Palestine among nations, including those in Europe and the Caribbean. Others, such as NATO member Turkey, have broken off all ties with Israel.
The Trump administration is set to inherit this precarious landscape for one of its closest allies, set upon the backdrop of an anticipated desire to strengthen ties with a VITAL PARTNER THAT HAS ASSUMED GREATER CLOUT ON THE WORLD STAGE.

RIO DE JANEIRO: SAUDI FOREIGN MINISTER PRINCE FAISAL BIN FARHAN LED THE KINGDOM’S DELEGATION AT THE FIRST SESSION OF THE G20 SUMMIT IN RIO DE JANEIRO, which opened on Monday.
Prince Faisal, who is leading the delegation ON BEHALF OF CROWN PRINCE MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN, SPOKE AT THE SUMMIT’S OPENING SESSION WHICH WAS CALLED “SOCIAL INCLUSION AND COMBATING HUNGER AND POVERTY.”
Prince Faisal highlighted pressing global challenges, noting that INCREASING TENSIONS, MILITARY CONFLICTS, AND HUMANITARIAN CRISES WERE SIGNIFICANT OBSTACLES TO ACHIEVING THE UN’S SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS FOR 2030, adding: “Development and prosperity cannot be achieved on the ruins of death and destruction.”
Moving on to the ongoing crises in the Middle East, Prince Faisal pointed to Israeli military actions in Gaza and Lebanon, describing them as sources of severe human suffering and catalysts which were pushing the region toward broader conflict.
He said: “The ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza and Lebanon has caused unprecedented levels of human suffering; is pushing the region to the brink of a wider war … and is undermining the credibility of international law and institutions.”
PRINCE FAISAL REITERATED SAUDI ARABIA’S COMMITMENT TO PEACE, stating the Kingdom’s unwavering stance on the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza; unrestricted access to humanitarian assistance; the release of hostages; and a SERIOUS COMMITMENT TO LASTING PEACE BASED ON THE TWO-STATE SOLUTION ACCORDING TO THE 1967 BORDERS, THE SAUDI PRESS AGENCY REPORTED.
The minister also addressed the situation in Sudan, expressing concern over the severe human toll due to the conflict, and obstacles preventing the delivery of humanitarian aid to affected communities.
In addition to political challenges, Prince Faisal commended Brazil’s initiative in launching the International Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty, which ALIGNS WITH SAUDI ARABIA’S DEVELOPMENT AND HUMANITARIAN OBJECTIVES.
He announced the Kingdom’s participation in the alliance, which resonates with its long-standing global efforts.
He said: “THE KINGDOM IS PLEASED TO BE PART OF THIS ALLIANCE THAT IS IN LINE WITH ITS DEVELOPMENT GOALS AND ITS GLOBAL ROLE IN THIS REGARD, WHICH IS EXPRESSED BY THE PROGRAMS OF THE KING SALMAN CENTER FOR RELIEF AND HUMANITARIAN AID (AND) THE SAUDI FUND FOR DEVELOPMENT, in addition to its global contributions to the programs of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank to support developing countries.”
The Kingdom’s delegation included Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Deputy Minister of Finance (Saudi Sherpa for the G20) Abdul Mohsen bin Saad Al-Khalaf, and Ambassador to Brazil Faisal bin Ibrahim Ghulam.

In a recent article regarding biblical eschatology, I wrote, SCRIPTURE IS CLEAR THAT THERE WILL BE A THIRD TEMPLE BUILT IN JERUSALEM, AND IT WILL BE DESECRATED BY ONE WHO OPPOSES CHRIST (THE ANTICHRIST). “LET NO ONE DECEIVE YOU BY ANY MEANS; FOR THAT DAY WILL NOT COME UNLESS THE FALLING AWAY COMES FIRST, AND THE MAN OF SIN IS REVEALED, THE SON OF PERDITION, WHO OPPOSES AND EXALTS HIMSELF ABOVE ALL THAT IS CALLED GOD OR THAT IS WORSHIPED, SO THAT HE SITS AS GOD IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD, SHOWING HIMSELF THAT HE IS GOD” (2 THESSALONIANS 2:3-4).
THE FAKE JESUS IS COMING SOON–TO THIS PLANET MUCH IN NEED OF PEACE & SAFETY
This event never happened between when it was written by Paul and the Temple’s destruction in 70 AD. The Roman general, Titus, never set himself up to be God and sat in the Jewish Temple before it was destroyed by his soldiers in 70 AD. He actually tried to stop his soldiers from burning down the temple, according to the Jewish historian, Josephus. However, this sympathy and respect for the Temple were quickly forgotten when Titus ordered a victorious sacrifice near the eastern gate of the temple (one of the animals burned there, which was the most insulting of all, was a pig), according to Josephus’ book/s, “The Wars of the Jews.” This event is mentioned in Book 6, Chapter 6, Verse 1.
The preterists think this act by the Romans was “the abomination of desolation” as mentioned by Jesus in Matthew 24. “WHEN YE THEREFORE SHALL SEE THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION, SPOKEN OF BY DANIEL THE PROPHET, STAND IN THE HOLY PLACE (WHOSOEVER READS, LET HIM UNDERSTAND), THEN LET THEM WHICH BE IN JUDAEA FLEE INTO THE MOUNTAINS” (MATTHEW 24:15-16).
Of course, this event didn’t occur in the Jewish Temple and Titus didn’t proclaim himself as God in the temple. Therefore, it must be yet future from 70 AD. So, which scripture is Jesus referring to regarding the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel? It can’t be Daniel 8:13, as that is the one Antiochus Epiphanes committed in 167 BC. It has to be Daniel 9:27 which says, “AND HE SHALL CONFIRM THE COVENANT WITH MANY FOR ONE WEEK: AND IN THE MIDST OF THE WEEK HE SHALL CAUSE THE SACRIFICE AND THE OBLATION TO CEASE, AND FOR THE OVERSPREADING OF ABOMINATIONS HE SHALL MAKE IT DESOLATE, EVEN UNTIL THE CONSUMMATION, AND THAT DETERMINED SHALL BE POURED UPON THE DESOLATE.” DANIEL MENTIONS IT AGAIN IN DANIEL 12:11, “AND FROM THE TIME THAT THE DAILY SACRIFICE SHALL BE TAKEN AWAY, AND THE ABOMINATION THAT MAKETH DESOLATE SET UP, THERE SHALL BE A THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY DAYS.”
Notice the verse before Matthew 24:15 mentions the timing of this particular “abomination of desolation.” Jesus said, “AND THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM SHALL BE PREACHED IN ALL THE WORLD FOR A WITNESS UNTO ALL NATIONS; AND THEN SHALL THE END COME” (MATTHEW 24:14). THE 1290 DAYS OF DANIEL 12:11 IS THE DURATION FROM THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION (IN THE MIDST OF THE WEEK) TO THE END OF THE “WEEK” (OR SEVEN YEARS) OF DANIEL 9:27. IT IS THE LAST 3.5 YEARS (TIME, TIMES, AND HALF A TIME) OF DANIEL’S 70TH SEVEN. JESUS CALLED IT THE “GREAT TRIBULATION” IN MATTHEW 24:21. DANIEL 12:1 DESCRIBES IT AS “A TIME OF TROUBLE, SUCH AS NEVER WAS SINCE THERE WAS A NATION.”
These last seven years (“one week”) of Daniel 9:27 (for the Jews and Jerusalem per Daniel 9:24) are the equivalent of seven Jewish years. DANIEL 12:11 CLEARLY SAYS THE ‘END’ (OF THE 70TH WEEK) WILL NOT OCCUR UNTIL 1290 DAYS AFTER THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION (IN THE MIDST EVENT OF DANIEL 9:27).
Most theologians believe since Jesus fulfilled the first four Feasts of the Lord during Jesus’ first advent (and within the 69 sevens of Daniel 9:25-26), He will fulfill the last three Feasts, during His second advent (and within the 70th week of Daniel 9:27). The 70th week/seven will not end with the return of Jesus Christ at Rosh Hashanah (the Feast of Trumpets) but must also include the remaining two Feasts of the Lord, Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) and Sukkot (Tabernacles). All seven Feasts of the Lord are ultimately fulfilled by Jesus Christ within the 70 weeks/sevens of the Daniel 9:24-27 prophecy.
RECOGNIZING THE ANTICHRIST ~ ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION
CHRISTIAN APOSTASY AND REVEALING THE MAN BY SATAN (MBS)
Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, 2 Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1-2, ALL INDICATE A THIRD TEMPLE WILL EXIST IN ISRAEL AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION. The first two Jewish temples were built at Mount Moriah in Israel. Moriah is where God commanded Abraham to offer his son, Isaac, as a sacrifice to Him, to test Abraham’s faith (Genesis 22:2). The first temple, Solomon’s Temple, was built on Moriah as mentioned in 2 Chronicles 3:1, “Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. The account of David and Ornan, the Jebusite, is recorded in 1 Chronicles 21. Also, 2 Samuel 24:25 says that David built an altar to the LORD and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings on this spot (the same location Abraham built his altar and made his sacrifice to the LORD).
The first temple’s construction was finished by Solomon and the children of Israel in 959 BC and stood for 373 years, until it was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BC. The second temple stood for 585 years, from 516 BC to 70 AD, until it was destroyed by the Romans. According to Ezra 5:15, the second temple was built on the same location as the first temple. “He said to him, “Take these utensils, go and deposit them in the temple in Jerusalem and let the house of God be rebuilt in its place.” So, the question/s is, “WILL THE THIRD TEMPLE BE BUILT IN THE LOCATION OF THE FIRST TWO TEMPLES, AND WHERE EXACTLY IS THAT?”
NEARLY ALL HISTORIANS AND ARCHAEOLOGISTS BELIEVE THE TWO JEWISH TEMPLES WERE LOCATED ON THE TEMPLE MOUNT WHERE THE DOME OF THE ROCK AND THE AL AQSA MOSQUE CURRENTLY STAND. There are a few proponents of the second temple’s location nearby at the Gihon Spring but there is a lack of archaeological evidence for such a claim. THE TEMPLE MOUNT IS KNOWN TO MUSLIMS AS THE HARAM AL-SHARIF (THE NOBLE SANCTUARY) AND, ACCORDING TO ISLAMIC TRADITION, IS THE SITE OF MUHAMMAD’S ASCENT TO HEAVEN IN THE SEVENTH CENTURY. THE AL AQSA MOSQUE IS THE THIRD HOLIEST SITE IN ISLAM.
Since Israeli forces regained control of the Old City of Jerusalem during the Six-Day War of 1967, Israel has extended its sovereignty over the site. “Day-to-day authority over the site rests with the Jerusalem Islamic Waqf. A waqf is a charitable trust recognized by Islamic law. Jordan, which had controlled eastern Jerusalem and the Islamic holy sites prior to 1967, continued to exercise a special guardianship over the mount, an arrangement later codified in the 1994 Israel-Jordan peace treaty, under which Israel “respects the present special role of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Muslim Holy shrines in Jerusalem.” Overall security for the site, including entry to visitors and worshippers, rests with Israeli security forces. The religious sensitivities surrounding the Temple Mount have repeatedly made the site a flashpoint for violence and unrest.”
So, if the first two Jewish temples were built on the Temple Mount, how can the third one be built there with the two Muslim shrines standing in that exact location? Most scholars and jewish leaders believe it must be rebuilt at the same location as the first two. There are a few who believe it is possible that a new location could be found for the third temple. The late Bible teacher, Jack Kelley believed it could be built in Shiloh. In one of his articles he writes, “Following instructions given by Ezekiel and needing to avoid the enormous problems a Jerusalem Temple would create in the Moslem world, this Temple will be located north of Jerusalem in Shiloh.
Using the boundaries of the Promised Land given in Ezekiel 47:13-20, and plotting the land grants for the 12 tribes listed in Ezekiel 48:1-29 on a map of Israel, places the precincts of the Holy City somewhat north of the current City of Jerusalem. This new location is the ancient City of Shiloh, where the Tabernacle stood for nearly 400 years after the Israelites first conquered the Land. This is the Holy City and its name is Jehovah Shammah according to the last verse in Ezekiel. The Hebrew translates as “the LORD is here.” {3)
Mr. Kelley believed the Antichrist would convince the Jews to build the third temple in Shiloh and not on the Temple Mount. This is one of the rare times that I disagreed with him on eschatological matters. Unless things change radically, I don’t think the Jews will build the temple anywhere but on the Temple Mount. Jack thought If the Lord returns to the same area of the Mt. of Olives from which He left, as suggested by Acts 1:11, the earthquake creating an East-West valley will destroy the current Temple Mount and anything that may be standing upon it.
“And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and THE LORD MY GOD SHALL COME, AND ALL THE SAINTS WITH THEE” (ZECH 14:4-5).
Mr. Kelley thought that the third temple would be the millennial temple as described in Ezekiel 40-44, so it would not be destroyed during the Tribulation or the Second Coming. Therefore, it must be built in Shiloh and not on the Temple Mount. As I said before, I think it has to be built on the Temple Mount. I believe there are two possible scenarios where this is possible. The first scenario is if the Muslim buildings on the Temple Mount are destroyed by an earthquake, making room to build the Jew’s third temple. Many scholars believe this could happen DURING THE GOG AND MAGOG COALITION WHEN THEY ATTACK ISRAEL.
GOG, MAGOG, ATTEMPTED INVASION OF ISRAEL
“AND IT WILL COME TO PASS AT THE SAME TIME, WHEN GOG COMES AGAINST THE LAND OF ISRAEL,” SAYS THE LORD GOD, “THAT MY FURY WILL SHOW IN MY FACE. FOR IN MY JEALOUSY AND IN THE FIRE OF MY WRATH I HAVE SPOKEN: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground” (Ezekiel 38:18-20).
The timing in this scenario seems to fit in with the chronology of other eschatology scripture. MOST OF THE NATIONS IN THE GOG (RUSSIA) CONFEDERACY ARE MUSLIM NATIONS, INCLUDING IRAN. What’s odd, however, is that the surrounding Arab countries of Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and SAUDI ARABIA ARE NOT ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN THIS WAR. It could be that they become participating members of the Abraham Accords (especially now that Donald Trump will become the 47th president of the U.S). I don’t think this is the ‘confirming of the covenant’ of Daniel 9:27, however. RUSSIA, IRAN, TURKEY, AND THE OTHER MUSLIM NATIONS OF THIS CONFEDERACY WILL BE DEFEATED BY THE SUPERNATURAL POWER OF GOD (INCLUDING A CATASTROPHIC EARTHQUAKE) ACCORDING TO EZEKIEL 38:18-22.
God’s purpose in this extraordinary intervention in history is to glorify and sanctify His Holy Name in the sight of Israel and the Gentile nations. “Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord” (Ezekiel 38:23). “So I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them profane My holy name anymore. Then the nations shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel” (Ezekiel 39:7).
THE FOUR HORSEMEN: THE WHITE HORSE | INSIGHT WITH DAVID HULME
Just as when it looks like Israel is about to be wiped out (a Muslim’s dream), the God of Israel supernaturally intervenes and destroys the Muslim confederacy (a Muslim’s nightmare). IN THE MUSLIM’S EYES, YAHWEH DEFEATS ALLAH! ISRAEL AND ALL THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD RECOGNIZE THAT IT WASN’T BY ISRAEL’S MIGHT, NOR THE UNITED STATES, NOR ANY OTHER HUMAN POWER OR NATION, BUT ONLY BY GOD ALMIGHTY WAS ISRAEL SAVED. ANOTHER PROOF THAT YAHWEH HAS DEFEATED THE MUSLIM GOD ALLAH [Satan, Devil, Dragon, Serpent, Prince of the Power of the Air, Father of Lies] IS THE DESTRUCTION OF THE DOME OF THE ROCK AND THE AL AQSA MOSQUE ON THE TEMPLE MOUNT. I BELIEVE THE RAPTURE WILL HAVE OCCURRED A LITTLE ‘SEASON’ BEFORE THE GOG AND MAGOG WAR. THAT IS ONE REASON WHY THE U.S. IS NOT INVOLVED IN THIS WAR. THE ANTICHRIST WILL COME UPON THE SCENE SHORTLY AFTER THE RAPTURE AND WILL CONFIRM THE COVENANT WITH ISRAEL AND THE MANY FOR SEVEN YEARS. ONE OF HIS SELLING POINTS IS THE ALLOWANCE OF THE JEWS TO REBUILD THEIR TEMPLE ON THE TEMPLE MOUNT IN JERUSALEM IN EXCHANGE FOR A TWO-STATE SOLUTION IN ISRAEL.
Here is how Isaiah describes this covenant. ” Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves” (Isaiah 28:15).
The other scenario regarding rebuilding a Jewish temple on the Temple Mount doesn’t require the destruction of the Muslim religious buildings there. In John’s Revelation, the Angel says, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. But leave out the court, which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months” (Revelation 11:1-2).
Grant Jeffrey wrote, “THE PROPHET SAW IN HIS VISION THAT THERE WOULD BE A PERIOD AFTER THE REBUILDING OF THE TEMPLE AND THE SACRIFICIAL ALTAR IN WHICH A PART OF THE TEMPLE MOUNT KNOWN AS THE COURT OF THE GENTILES WOULD STILL BE GIVEN OVER TO THE GENTILES (THE ARAB MUSLIMS) FOR FORTY-TWO MONTHS UNTIL CHRIST RETURNS TO SET UP HIS KINGDOM. The solution to this problem of the rebuilding of the Temple has awaited the completion of recent archeological research on the Temple Mount. In the last few years, ARCHEOLOGICAL DISCOVERIES HAVE ENABLED JEWISH AUTHORITIES TO DETERMINE THAT THE ORIGINAL SITE OF SOLOMON’S TEMPLE – AND HENCE, THE LOCATION FOR THE REBUILDING OF THE TEMPLE – IS IN THE OPEN AREA OF THE TEMPLE MOUNT DIRECTLY NORTH OF THE EXISTING DOME OF THE ROCK.
Mr. Jeffrey goes on to say how Israeli archeologists dug a 900-yard-long tunnel (sixty-five yards below the level of the streets of Jerusalem) in a northerly direction along the Western Wall from the area known as Wilson’s Arch to the northwest corner of the ancient Temple Mount. THEY UNCOVERED AN ANCIENT GATE SEVERAL HUNDRED FEET NORTH OF WILSON’S ARCH THAT LED INTO THE SUBTERRANEAN PASSAGES BENEATH THE TEMPLE MOUNT WHICH HAD BEEN BUILT BY KING HEROD THE GREAT IN THE TIME OF THE SECOND TEMPLE. THIS HERODIAN GATE WAS ALMOST DIRECTLY OPPOSITE THE EASTERN (GOLDEN) GATE.
THE GREAT TRIBULATION WILL START WHEN…
“THE MISHNA RECORDS THAT THESE TEMPLE GATES WERE PRECISELY OPPOSITE EACH OTHER AND THAT THE EASTERN GATE LED DIRECTLY, IN A LINE, INTO THE BEAUTIFUL GATE OF THE SECOND TEMPLE. NOW, AFTER ALMOST 2000 YEARS, THE WESTERN GATE HAS BEEN DISCOVERED. THIS PROVES BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT THAT THE LOCATION OF THE TEMPLE, WHICH LAY PRECISELY BETWEEN THESE TWO GATES, IS NORTH OF THE DOME OF THE ROCK. An interesting photo I took from the Garden of Gethsemane, directly opposite the Eastern Gate, shows clearly that the Dome of the Rock is built over 150 feet to the south of the true site, directly west of the Eastern Gate.
There is a small decorative Arabic cupola that lies over 150 feet to the north of the Dome of the Rock and is exactly on a line drawn between the Eastern Gate and the Western Gate. It is called the Dome of the Spirits (or Winds) and stands isolated on the site of a flat foundation stone composed of the original bedrock of Mount Moriah. The Arabs also call this site Qubbat el-Alouah, the Dome of the Tablets. THESE TWO NAMES MAY WELL REVEAL THE ANCIENT MUSLIM KNOWLEDGE THAT THIS STONE IS, IN FACT, THE ANCIENT FOUNDATION STONE THAT SUPPORTED THE ARK OF THE COVENANT WITH THE TABLETS IN THE HOLY OF HOLIES. The Mishna records that there was a foundation stone in the Temple known as ” Even Shetyah” and that THE ARK OF THE COVENANT RESTED UPON THIS FOUNDATION STONE IN SOLOMON’S TEMPLE. THE MISHNA RECORDS THAT THE FOUNDATION STONE STOOD ALONE IN THE HOLY OF HOLIES IN THE SECOND TEMPLE BECAUSE THE ARK OF THE COVENANT WAS MISSING.
The Third Temple can now be rebuilt on the exact location of Solomon’s Temple, WITH THE HOLY OF HOLIES BUILT AROUND THE ANCIENT FOUNDATION STONE, NOW COVERED BY THE DOME OF THE SPIRITS. THE DOME OF THE ROCK (AND THE AL AQSA MOSQUE) COULD THEN REMAIN UNDISTURBED IN THE ANCIENT AREA OF THE COURT OF THE GENTILES OVER ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY FEET TO THE SOUTH OF THE REBUILT TEMPLE.”
Regardless of which scenario is correct, WE KNOW THE JEWISH THIRD TEMPLE WILL BE BUILT ON THE ORIGINAL SITE THAT THE FIRST AND SECOND TEMPLES WERE BUILT ON. IT’S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME, AND I THINK THAT TIME IS NEARLY UPON US. See Time, Times, and Half a Time – Part 1. However, another question arises, “Will the third temple survive the topographical upheaval on Mount Moriah when Jesus returns as recorded in Zechariah 14:4, or will it be destroyed? The prophet provided geographical details of the city where God’s reign will commence. JERUSALEM WILL ACTUALLY BECOME ELEVATED ABOVE THE REST OF THE LAND THAT WILL BE LEVELED.
Isaiah also mentioned Jerusalem’s elevation at the time of the Millennium. “The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem” (ISAIAH 1-3). Micah also prophesied of this time. “but in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it” (Micah 4:1).
It is my personal opinion that the third temple will be destroyed (no cleansing will be necessary) and a fourth temple (Ezekiel’s temple of Ezekiel 40-44) will be built during the Millennium. James alluded to this in Acts 15. “AND TO THIS AGREE THE WORDS OF THE PROPHETS; AS IT IS WRITTEN, AFTER THIS I WILL RETURN, AND WILL BUILD AGAIN THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID, WHICH IS FALLEN DOWN; AND I WILL BUILD AGAIN THE RUINS THEREOF, AND I WILL SET IT UP: THAT THE RESIDUE OF MEN MIGHT SEEK AFTER THE LORD, AND ALL THE GENTILES, UPON WHOM MY NAME IS CALLED, SAITH THE LORD, WHO DOETH ALL THESE THINGS. KNOWN UNTO GOD ARE ALL HIS WORKS FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD” (ACTS 15:15-18).
The prophet that James was referring to was Amos, who said, “In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the Lord that doeth this. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God” (Amos 9:11-15).
In Ezekiel’s vision, the city of Jerusalem and the temple are upon a very high mountain, which means it is the millennial temple. “In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south” (Ezekiel 40:2). The description and measurements of the temple begin in Ezekiel 41. The name of the city from that day shall be “Yahweh Shammah,” which means “the Lord is there.” (Ezekiel 48:35).
A pure river of water of life will flow from under the threshold of the temple. “Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar” (Ezekiel 47:1). After four thousand cubits the water will become a mighty river (Ezekiel 47:5). A tributary of the river shall run into the dead sea, and it will be healed. Zechariah further prophesies, “And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be” (Ezekiel 14:8).
“And it shall come to pass, that every thing that lives, which moves, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither. And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine” (Ezekiel 47:9,12).
These verses in Ezekiel 47 sound remarkably similar to the first two verses in Revelation 22. “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations” (Revelation 22:1-2).
“The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more. Israeli officials told The Times of Israel that Netanyahu wants to end the wars in Gaza and Lebanon so he can shift his focus to his OVERARCHING GOAL OF PEACE WITH THE SAUDIS and the cementing of an anti-Iran coalition. The Saudis have criticized Israel throughout the war, but usually through junior officials or Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
The fact that it was MBS himself accusing Israel of genocide in a highly public forum was the most noteworthy escalation in Riyadh’s critique of Israel, which has become increasingly strident since the Hamas attacks on October 7th. BUT THERE ARE REASONS TO BRUSH ASIDE THE STATEMENTS. SUMMITS LIKE THE ONE MBS HOSTED IN RIYADH ARE OFTEN FORUMS FOR POSTURING AND EMPTY PROCLAMATIONS.
“The path of least resistance for these regimes is to virtue signal their publics in an effort to appease them,” said John Hannah, a senior fellow at the Jewish Institute for National Security of America, “by putting out very tough statements with the hope of making sure their anger is channeled toward Israel rather than being directed at the regimes themselves.” The Saudis have to be mindful of public sentiment on the war in Gaza. The population has been watching images of dead Gazans on TV for over a year, and is furious.

“He has to listen to what his people are saying, and you don’t want to get too far out of line,” said Simon Henderson, senior fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. “It would seem that he was getting out of line, and this is a corrective statement.”
Still, there are signs that substantive shifts away from Israel are taking place.
There has been an “escalation of diplomatic discourse” from Gulf states, with more strident and more frequent public criticism of Israel, said Moran Zaga, an expert on the Gulf region at Mitvim – The Israeli Institute for Regional Foreign Policies.
THERE HAS ALSO BEEN A FLURRY OF DIPLOMATIC ACTIVITY AROUND THE PALESTINIAN ISSUE THAT IS TAKING PLACE OVER ISRAEL’S HEAD. IN SEPTEMBER, EUROPEAN, ARAB AND ISLAMIC NATIONS LAUNCHED AN INITIATIVE — CO-CHAIRED BY SAUDI ARABIA — TO STRENGTHEN SUPPORT FOR A PALESTINIAN STATE. SAUDI ARABIA AND OTHER GULF STATES ALSO VOTED FOR THE PALESTINIANS TO BE GRANTED FULL MEMBERSHIP AT THE UN.
“GULF STATES DISCOVERED THAT THEY CAN MOVE THE PALESTINIAN ISSUE FORWARD NOT THROUGH ISRAEL,” Zaga continued. “THE TREND OF TURNING TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY IS GAINING MOMENTUM.”
The other worrying trend for Israel, also reflected in MBS’s remarks, is the ongoing thawing of relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Last week, Saudi military chief of staff Fayyad al-Ruwaili traveled to Iran with a senior military delegation to meet his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Bagheri.
In October, the two countries participated in joint naval exercises.
Sunni-majority Saudi Arabia and Shiite-majority Iran severed ties in 2016 after Saudi diplomatic missions in Iran were attacked during protests over Riyadh’s execution of Shiite cleric Nimr al-Nimr.
They are also on opposite sides of the decade-long civil war in Yemen.
But last March, a China-brokered deal saw the longtime rivals agree to restore diplomatic relations and reopen their respective embassies. The shift in the Saudi approach to Iran comes from realpolitik concerns over the kingdom’s security, and not any new appreciation for the Islamic Republic.
A leading Saudi journalist found the seeds of Saudi-Iranian détente going back to the Barack Obama administration, writing that “Washington and the West have not been serious about the region’s security since concluding the Iranian nuclear agreement in 2015.”
US President-elect Donald Trump, though well-received in the Gulf, further eroded Saudi trust in his first term. He chose not to strike Iran in response to the September 2019 drone and missile attack on a key Saudi oil processing facility. Once Riyadh understood there would be no American retaliation, it reached out to Iran, understanding it had to avoid a conflict in which it could be forced to fight on its own.

Since October 7, 2023, Riyadh has been working to avoid a full-blown Iran-Israel war that could see Tehran lash out at Gulf states and Western interests in response to Israeli attacks.
“Whatever happens, they’re always looking at the day beyond tomorrow,” said Henderson. “Tomorrow, next week, next year, they will still be there, Iran will still be there.”
Nonetheless, for the Saudis, the Islamic Republic is still the primary threat.
“The only relevant question for the Saudis is not whether or not Iran is a mortal enemy, but what is the best way to keep the Islamic Republic at bay and deterred from attacking Saudi interests, given the geostrategic circumstances of the present moment,” argued Hannah.
MBS’S GENOCIDE ALLEGATION AGAINST ISRAEL AT THE RIYADH SUMMIT “SUGGESTS THAT RIGHT NOW, THE SAUDIS SEE [APPEASING IRAN] AS THE SAFEST WAY TO GO. BUT THAT CAN CHANGE RELATIVELY QUICKLY ONCE THE SITUATION CHANGES,” he argued.
THE CHANGE THEY WANT IS A DEFENSE DEAL WITH THE US THAT WOULD INCLUDE FORMAL GUARANTEES FOR SAUDI SECURITY. THE JOE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION WORKED TO INCLUDE NORMALIZATION WITH ISRAEL AS PART OF A THREE-WAY AGREEMENT, AND TRUMP IS LIKELY TO PURSUE A DEAL WITH SIMILAR PARAMETERS.
SINCE OCTOBER 7, THE PRICE OF THAT DEAL HAS GONE UP FOR ISRAEL, WITH THE SAUDIS OPENLY DEMANDING MOVEMENT TOWARD A PALESTINIAN STATE.
Still, with a more supportive US administration in place and an Iran badly weakened by losing proxies and suffering from renewed sanctions, it is possible that MBS will lower his demands on the Palestinian front, especially if fighting in Gaza dies down.
Until Trump takes office, THE SAUDIS KNOW THAT THERE IS LITTLE CHANCE OF ACHIEVING THE DEFENSE PACT WITH THE US, SO BLASTING ISRAEL AT ISLAMIC SUMMITS IS AN EASY WAY OF DEFLECTING DOMESTIC DISSENT.
“THE STATEMENT WAS AN EASY PLACEHOLDER FOR THE SAUDIS DURING THIS 3-MONTH LAME DUCK PERIOD IN AMERICA WHEN NO MAJOR DIPLOMATIC PROGRESS IS LIKELY,” said Hannah. “IT DOESN’T REALLY COST THEM ANYTHING WITH THE US OR ISRAEL WHILE ALLOWING THEM TEMPORARILY TO PLACATE BOTH THEIR PUBLIC AND THE IRANIANS.”
Once Trump’s policy toward Iran and US allies in the region becomes clear, MBS could change his rhetoric and his approach to Israel.

Commentary: In John’s Revelation of Jesus Christ, WHITE RAIMENT, LINENS OR ROBES ARE USED AS METAPHORS FOR HAVING, AND DESCRIBING THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST. Who are these people that are described as having white raiment, linens or robes? Rev. 3:4-5 indicates that they are overcomers (those who remain faithful to Christ until the end of their lives). Rev. 4:4 indicates that they are the 24 crowned elders around the throne of God. These crowned elders represent a select group of redeemed saints from throughout the Church age (they are not angels) and are part of God’s divine council of government. The number twelve (12) denotes a divinely constituted organization either in heaven or on earth.
The number twenty-four (24) denotes God’s abundant (doubled) organizational arrangement (12×2). The verses surrounding Rev. 6:11 indicate that THESE PEOPLE WHO RECEIVED WHITE ROBES AND WERE TOLD TO WAIT A LITTLE LONGER ARE THE “TRIBULATION SAINTS MARTYRED/BEHEADED FOR THEIR BELIEF AND WITNESS TO CHRIST.” (REV. 15:6) indicates these are the “righteous seven angels who pour out God’s wrath in the seven last vial plagues.” (Rev. 19:7-8) clearly indicates this group of people is the “Bride (church) of the Lamb”, which his redeemed people from the past, present and near future (until the Tribulation). As the Bible indicates in the above verses, white raiment indicates righteousness of both saints and angels as given to them by Christ.
SEVEN-FOLD REFERENCE TO THE BOOK OF LIFE:
- . . . “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out him name out of THE BOOK OF LIFE, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.” (Rev. 3:5).
- . . . “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the BOOK OF LIFE of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” (Rev. 13:8).
- . . . “And the beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in THE BOOK OF LIFE from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” (Rev. 17:8). (Emphasis added).

Commentary: Somehow, God has a way or a system, that accounts for the actions of men, their behaviors, their works and whether or not they accepted Jesus Christ’s offer of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins by the shedding of his blood and his resurrection. These things are kept or accounted for in what appears to be a book of ledgers (using an accounting term). Verse 21:27 is very explicit in stating that THIS BOOK BELONGS TO THE LAMB (JESUS CHRIST). He is able to account for his own people, whose names are in his book. Conversely, if someone’s name is not in the book, he doesn’t know them (or, they never accepted his offer of salvation). IF A PERSON’S NAME IS FOUND IN THE BOOK, THEN JESUS CONFIRMS TO THE FATHER “CONFESS HIS NAME BEFORE MY FATHER” THAT THIS PERSON BELONGS TO HIM. Those not found recorded in the book of life are lost and thus cast into the lake of fire. Just as a ship has a log or an accounting of every passenger who has paid, and is allowed on the ship, anyone found that is not on the log is cast away. In regards to Jesus Christ, he has already paid for us to be in his book of life and we accepted his ticket.

Commentary: The Bible makes it abundantly clear that the Tribulation Saints are those people that become Christians during the period of the Man by Satan’s (MbS) reign on earth, over the seven (7) year period. How do they become Saints in the eyes of Christ? They believe in and accept Christ as their Savior and for the forgiveness of their sins. They do NOT take the mark of the beast or the antichrist. SAUDI NEOM BABYLON MEGA PROJECT WARNING FOR AMERICANS

Companies involved in the construction of several Saudi Arabian megaprojects have been called on to examine their relationship with the nation amid significant human rights abuse allegations.
HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATION ALQST released a report warning that companies working with the biggest construction projects in Saudi Arabia, which includes several American firms, run the risk of “political and reputational risks” as the projects face allegations of dangerous conditions and abuse of migrant workers.
The report highlighted NEOM BABYLON, THE FLAGSHIP PROJECT OF SAUDI ARABIA’S VISION 2030 PLAN AND THE LARGEST CONSTRUCTION SITE IN THE WORLD, AS “AN OVERAMBITIOUS VANITY PROJECT THAT PRESENTS BOTH HUMAN RIGHTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES,” CALLING ON COMPANIES INVOLVED WITH ITS CONSTRUCTION TO RECONSIDER THEIR RELATIONSHIP.
Several American companies currently have a working relationship with NEOM BABYLON, including Air Products & Chemicals, which is helping to build the world’s largest green hydrogen plant in Saudi Arabia, and Ruder Finn, a PR firm helping the project avoid a negative reputation.
Newsweek contacted Air Products & Chemicals and Ruder Finn, as well as the Public Investment Fund, which manages the VISION 2030 PROJECTS, for a response to the report via email.
ALQST called on companies such as these to step back from Neom or reevaluate their relationship, writing in the report: “If a business does wish to participate in Neom, it has significant potential leverage to call out human rights abuses, as completion of the project will not be possible without foreign investment and support.
“As well as avoiding actual complicity in human rights abuses, businesses have a responsibility, laid down in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, to prevent any adverse human rights impacts linked to their operations through their business relationships.
“This includes respecting the rights of indigenous peoples, ethnic minorities and migrant workers, all of which are being VIOLATED BY THE NEOM BABYLON PROJECT. The UNGPs further emphasize businesses’ responsibility to address adverse impacts where they occur by taking ‘adequate measures for their prevention, mitigation and, where appropriate, remediation’.”
The report comes amid allegations that thousands of migrant construction workers have died or gone missing since 2017 when construction on Neom began in earnest.
An ITV documentary found that migrant workers brought to Saudi Arabia from India, Bangladesh and Nepal were repeatedly killed in work accidents or by poor conditions at construction sites across the country.
Workers described being treated as “trapped slaves” and “beggars,” with several violations of work safety regulations reported.
The Saudi Arabian National Council for Occupational Safety and Health said that allegations of human rights abuse were “misleading”, writing in a statement: “In reference to the misinformation circulating across various media platforms—particularly claims suggesting an increase in worker fatalities linked to working conditions in Saudi Arabia, accompanied by unfounded statistics lacking credible sources—the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health in Saudi Arabia unequivocally refutes these assertions.”
Shortly after the allegations surfaced, Neom CEO Nadhmi Al-Nasr resigned without an official explanation.

Commentary: One verse or reference is an angelic warning NOT to worship the beast, his image, or to take his mark. The other four (4) verses indicate that this is exactly what men choose to do, THEY CHOOSE TO WORSHIP THE BEAST, HIS IMAGE AND TAKE HIS MARK. Descriptions of worshipping the beast:
Men worship the beast because they are in awe of him, they are deceived by his physical size and attributes. They declare that no one is like him and he is so strong that no one is able to make war (fight) with him. He is unique (satanically) and no one else on earth is like him.
Everyone on earth (those that dwell upon the earth) will worship him. These are evil men whose names are not found or written in the Lamb’s book of life.
The beast’s deadly wound is miraculously healed (false resurrection from the dead), as such, the false prophet uses this satanically contrived event to further mislead people into worshipping the beast because of his false resurrection.
The five references end (Rev. 14:11) indicating these evil men who worshipped the beast are tormented for eternity in the lake of fire and brimstone (2nd death). They will have no rest, day or night from their torment, forever.

Commentary: There are a total of eighteen (18) verses that indicate the eternal sins of damnation that result from worshipping the beast, worshipping his image and taking his mark of identification. Three (3) denotes God’s emphasis and intensity. Six (6) denotes the evil number of man = 18, or 6+6+6 = 18, or 666 . . . “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is he number of a man; and his number is Six Hundred and threescore and six (666).” (Rev. 13:18). Worshipping the beast, his image and taking his mark are the eternal sins that men commit during the Tribulation.
There are a total of ten (10) combined references of evil men taking the beast’s mark, number or name. These three descriptions are synonymous with being identified with (or belonging) to the beast and his system. Ten (10) denotes God’s allness or physical completeness regarding things on earth. These ten references indicate man’s complete earthly evilness and damnation resulting from taking either the mark, number or name of the beast and his kingdom.
These men are so deceived and evil, that they not only allow themselves to worship the beast and his fake image, but they allow themselves to be physically ‘branded’ or marked in order to be identified with the beast. Evil men obtain this mark, number or name so they can also participate in the global economy in terms of buying and selling. They have to be identified as having this mark, number or name, physically evident on either their right hand or forehead, in order to be allowed to execute a purchasing or selling transaction. Once evil men worship the beast, his image and take his mark (or number, name), they are damned.
There are three verses regarding a very specific, powerful and clear angelic warning given to men on earth, to NOT worship the beast, or his image, or take his mark (name, number). Three (3) denotes God’s emphasis and intensity.
. . . “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. Twice (2) the message is directed at men. The angel repeats himself indicating that the message is for men and what behavior is judged eternally sinful (for ever and ever). Men who worship the beast, his image and take his mark will;
- Experience God’s wrath.
- God’s wrath will not be diluted, or held back, but given in full strength.
- They will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone for torment.
- There torment will be forever and ever (eternity).
- Their torment will be witnessed by holy angels.
- Their torment will take place in the presence of the Lamb.
- They will have no rest day or night, forever and ever (eternity).
There are seven (7) specific results that stem from men worshipping the beast, his image and taking his mark (name or number). Seven (7) denotes God’s divinely determined completeness as to his purpose or plan. Eternal punishment in the lake of fire and brimstone, day and night is the strongest wrath that God gives evil men (and Satan, beast/antichrist and false prophet). There is a specific mention that this torment takes place in the presence of the Lamb. These men, while in their torment, will see or consciously be aware of the existence of Jesus Christ. This will provide added pain, anguish and misery since they will be painfully made aware of the choice of their decisions (to worship the beast, his image and take his mark). They were warned not to do what they did.
The Bible gives plenty of examples of the glory that is given to those who did NOT worship the beast, his image or take his mark. Yet, despite the angelic warning . . . despite the 3 ½ year testimony of two witness and prophets . . . despite the witnessing of Tribulation Saints . . . despite the flying angel who proclaimed the gospel of Jesus Christ . . . evil men still chose to worship the beast, his image and to take his mark, name or number.
They chose to ignore the messages, the warnings, and the testimonies. And now, they are in the lake of fire and brimstone, and will have to pay the price for their evil decision(s), for eternity. They see Jesus Christ, and have become painfully aware of what they could have had through Jesus Christ and instead, they chose the false, empty promises of Satan by worshipping the beast, his image and taking his mark, name or number.
Their extreme bitterness and woeful regret will emotionally torment them for eternity, in addition to the physical pain, suffering and torment that they will experience in the lake of fire for eternity. Through their decision to follow Satan, God gave them exactly what they wanted. They did not want anything to do with Jesus Christ, who paid for their sins with his own blood. As such, God gave them over to Satan, since it was their free decision or choice, and what they desired while they were physically alive on earth.
These evil men did everything humanly possible to ignore warnings, to blaspheme God, to ignore the gospel of Jesus Christ, and instead they accepted and believed in lies, worshipped Satan, the beast and his image. Evil men even went so far as to physically defile their bodies (flesh) by taking the branding (mark, number or name) of the beast. All of these actions and behaviors enabled evil men to give themselves totally and wholeheartedly over to Satan through his system of the beast/antichrist and the false prophet.
There are two visions describing what John the Apostle saw, regarding men who were overcomers (them that had gotten victory) by NOT worshipping the beast, his image or taking his mark, number or name.

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. - They are given judgement.
- They live and reign with Christ for a thousand years.

These blessings or glories are the complete opposite of what awaits those men who DID worship the beast, his image and took his mark, name, number.
- The righteous are in heaven for eternity versus evil men who are in the lake of fire and brimstone for eternity.
- The righteous are joyful and play harps versus evil men who are bitter, resentful, angry, tormented, cry and wail in anguish.
- The righteous sing the praise of and worship Jesus Christ versus evil men who once praised and worshipped Satan (through the beast, his image and in taking his mark).
- Righteous men acknowledge that what God said would come to pass, in fact did come to pass (made manifest) versus evil men who ignored and rejected warnings, the gospel and testimonies of the truth.
- The righteous are given thrones in heaven versus evil men who are drowning in torment in the lake of fire.
- The righteous are given judgement versus evil men who are judged.
- The righteous live and reign with Christ verses evil men who die and fall with Satan.

JUDGING OR JUDGEMENT IS DESCRIBED AS;
God is the judge and provides judgements or decisions based on the actions, behaviors and deeds of men and angels.
Judgement is a decision requested to be made on behalf of someone (Tribulation Saints) who were wrongfully hurt (beheaded).
Someone (nations) are caught bloody red handed and are angry knowing that they will be judged for their actions, behavior and evil deeds. They are angry because they didn’t get away with it and were caught. They know they are going to have pay a price which they can’t afford.
Judgement is a request that someone be righted a wrong done to them.
Judgement is a request for a reward promised based on a stated outcome.
Judgement is based on timing. An evil act is done, its results are noted and accounted for. Time comes for the evil act to be judged and the resulting judgement exercised or made manifest.
Judgement, or the decision of what should be done has to be acted upon or made to occur (sent to prison). This is known as making a judgement manifest or physically exercised. This is the doing of what should be done.
Witnesses in the public gallery indicate that God’s judgements are “true and righteous.” This means that the public gallery can attest to the fact that God did take everything into account, all the details, actions, deeds, events, behaviors, statements, intents and came to the correct and truthful conclusion regarding the matter. Nothing was left out. Everything was taken into consideration as evidence, properly evaluated and applied against the benchmark, standard and/or law that was being applied. God’s administration of justice and his resulting judgements are found to be accurate, spot on, truthful, correct, no question about it. In Biblical words, “true and righteous.”
God is described as judging the “great whore” a.k.a. Babylon City (the great worldly capital of the beast’s/antichrist’s kingdom).
God is strong, meaning he can’t be swayed or weak in the sense that he lets some evil slide a bit in terms of not being judged or of receiving judgement. He is firm in his judgements and not weak-kneed. He does not fold under public pressure. He can’t be influenced, bribed, manipulated or pushed by a particular special interest group, lobby or entrenched political ideology or group. He is strong, firm, steadfast, unwavering in the application of his administration of justice.
God’s judgement comes very swiftly, within “one hour.” There is no long drawn out period of rebuttals, challenges, reviews, counter-suits, passing on to a higher court, etc. A decision is made and done. The action of the decision is made manifest, very quickly. There is no delay in the manifestation of the decision. Babylon City is destroyed within one hour, split into three parts by a very great earthquake, consumed by fire and hammered by 100lb. hailstones (weight of a talent). Period.
There is no punishment meted out in stages, over a long period of time. There is no slap on the wrist that comes with an admonition to don’t do it again. The celestial sledgehammer is dropped quickly and decisively, no force is held back.
God’s judgement includes not only the living but also the dead. Jesus Christ opens his book of life, to see if a dead man’s name is in it. The book of life is not unlike an accounting ledger that records all the debits and credits amassed over a period of time. These debits and credits are referred to as “according to their works.” If a man’s name is found in his book of life, Jesus acknowledges as much to the Father and “confesses the man’s name even to the angels.” Through Jesus Christ and his book of life, God is able to righteously judge dead men. Jesus’ book of life accounts for everyone, past, present and future.
Numbers within numbers, meanings within meanings. Twelve (12) descriptions of judging or judgement and twelve (12) references or verses from throughout the book of Revelation. Judging / Judgement. (Def.); to form a conclusion about a subject or outcome, to decide as in a case of court, to give a verdict about someone or something in court as truthful, applying the administration of justice and truthfulness. Only God and Jesus Christ are the judges. Period.
Only God and Jesus Christ do the judging. Period. Only God and Jesus Christ reward, withhold or punish. Period. Only God and Jesus Christ are judge, jury, and jailer. God has his wrath. Jesus Christ has the keys to heaven and hell. Having judgement and exercising judgement is derived from authority and rule. One can only be a judge if they have the authority to judge and the right to judge. One has to be competent to judge, to be able to discern right from wrong, truth from lies, good from evil, just from unjust, righteousness from unrighteousness, clarity from deception, godly from ungodliness, saved from unsaved.
To be able to judge, one has to know all the facts, all the outcomes, all the intents, all the behaviors and apply these against a benchmark, a standard, a law that determines whether the data observed meet the benchmark, standard or law. Since God is omnipotent and knows everything occurring past, present and future, he is supremely just in knowing everything to take into account in performing judgement. He is the only one capable of exercising correct, truthful and righteous judgement because he can and does take everything into consideration when exercising his administration of justice.
Jesus Christ is the benchmark, the standard and/or the law. Jesus Christ paid our court fees, he paid the bail, and also paid a very expensive price so we wouldn’t have to go to jail, to the dungeon, to the hangman or to the lake of fire. God’s law of righteousness and truthfulness is;
Admit/Acknowledge/Accept that you are sinner. Ask God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins.
. . .For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
. . .As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. (Romans 3:10)
. . .If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (1 John 1:8)
Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that Jesus Christ is who He claimed to be; that He was both fully God and fully man and that we are saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. Put your trust in Him as your only hope of salvation. Become a son or daughter of God by receiving Christ.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:15-17). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Call upon His name, Confess with your heart and with your lips that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

This is the benchmark, standard and/or law by which God judges men. If Jesus Christ finds a man who meets this benchmark, standard and/or law, he acknowledges and confesses the man’s name before God as belonging to him and having meet the requirements. Jesus Christ acts as our lawyer, on our behalf, in the administration of God’s justice. Jesus saves us in God’s court of law and in the administration of God’s justice.
THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT
GREAT WHITE THRONE AND ETERNAL JUDGEMENT
SEVEN-FOLD REFERENCE TO LAKE OF FIRE JUDGEMENT:
- “He that hath an ear, let hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of THE SECOND DEATH (LAKE OF FIRE).” (Rev. 2:11).
- “The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he SHALL BE TORMENTED WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosover receiveth the mark of his name.” (Rev. 14:10-11).
- “And THE BEAST was taken, and with him THE FALSE PROPHET that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These BOTH WERE CAST ALIVE INTO A LAKE OF FIRE BURNING WITH BRIMSTONE.” (Rev. 19:20).
- “And the devil that deceived them was cast into THE LAKE OF FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, WHERE THE BEAST AND THE FALSE PROPHET ARE, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (Rev. 20:10).
- “And death and hell were cast into THE LAKE OF FIRE. THIS IS THE SECOND DEATH.” (Rev. 20:14).
- “And whosover was not found written in the book of life WAS CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.” (Rev. 20:15).
- “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part IN THE LAKE WHICH BURNETH WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE: WHICH IS THE SECOND DEATH.” (Rev. 21:8).
The lake of fire is also known as the ‘second death’. This is the final place of burning, everlasting torment for Satan, the antichrist, the false prophet and those un-saved, un-believing souls from throughout the ages found NOT to be in the book of life, at the white throne judgement, at the end of the Millennium. The lake of fire and second death are also reserved for those deceived during the Tribulation who took the mark of the beast and worshipped him and his image.
The evil dead are resurrected to be judged by Christ for their evil works and for their rejection of Him who offered himself for their salvation and forgiveness of their sins. As a result of their sins and judgment, they are cast into the lake of fire that represents a second death (the first death being physical body death and souls/spirits being in Hell). The evil dead are resurrected into bodies and cast into the lake of fire to be severely tormented, having no rest day or night, and are absent from a loving God and their Savior who offered himself for them.
THE GREAT IRONY IS THAT THESE PEOPLE RECEIVED EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANTED. THEY REFUSED CHRIST AND WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM, THEY WANTED TO EXIST IN ETERNITY WITHOUT COMMUNION WITH GOD AND CHRIST, ON THEIR OWN TERMS. THEY LITERALLY RECEIVED WHAT THEY ASKED FOR. THE STENCH OF THEIR PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL TORMENT RISES UP IN SMOKE, FOR ETERNITY.
God made both man and angels as eternal beings, hence they will exist forever in one state or another. Which state will any of us choose to exist in? The choice is up to us, and God grants us the freedom to make that choice for ourselves. For better or worse, we have no one to blame (certainly not God) except ourselves for whatever choices we make on earth.
MOST PEOPLE DON’T REALISE THIS UNTILL IT’S TOO LATE: STANDING AT THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST
