THE RED HORSEMAN OF THE APOCALYPSE SERIES: NATO / RUSSIA. WHY ARE EUROPEAN COUNTRIES SUDDENLY INSTRUCTING CITIZENS TO PREPARE FOR WAR?

REVELATION 10:5-6And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, THAT THERE SHOULD BE TIME NO LONGER:

Jeremiah 30:7 Alas! for THAT DAY IS GREAT, SO THAT NONE IS LIKE IT: IT IS EVEN THE TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE, but he [Israel’s Believing Remnant at the end of the seven year tribulation} shall be saved out of it.

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION, WHICH SHALL COME UPON ALL THE WORLD, TO TRY THEM THAT DWELL UPON THE EARTH.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! FOR THE DEVIL IS COME DOWN UNTO YOU, HAVING GREAT WRATH, BECAUSE HE KNOWETH THAT HE HATH BUT A SHORT TIME.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of THE FATHER, AND OF THE SON, AND OF THE HOLY GHOST:

Revelation 19:11

And I saw heaven opened, and BEHOLD A WHITE HORSE; AND HE THAT SAT UPON HIM WAS CALLED FAITHFUL AND TRUE, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and UNDERSTAND THAT I AM HE: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Isaiah 52:6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore THEY SHALL KNOW IN THAT DAY THAT I AM HE THAT DOTH SPEAK: BEHOLD, IT IS I.

Luke 21:28 And WHEN THESE THINGS BEGIN TO COME TO PASS, THEN LOOK UP, AND LIFT UP YOUR HEADS; FOR YOUR REDEMPTION DRAWETH NIGH.

Make Your (7) Decision for Christ NOW!!!!!!! Time is Up!!!!!!!

Jesus Christ’s Offer of Salvation:

The ABCs (7) of Salvation through Jesus Christ (the Lamb)

  1. (7) Admit/Acknowledge/Accept that you are sinner. Ask (7) God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins.

. . . “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23).

. . . “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10).

. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8).

B. Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that (7) Jesus Christ is who He claimed to (7) be; that He was both fully God (7) and fully man and that we are (7) saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. (7) Put your trust in Him as your (7) only hope of salvation. Become a son (7) or daughter of God by receiving Christ. (7777777) 7×7

. . . “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:15-17). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).

C. Call upon His name, Confess (7) with your heart and with your lips (7) that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

. . . “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)

WHY ARE EUROPEAN COUNTRIES SUDDENLY INSTRUCTING CITIZENS TO PREPARE FOR WAR?

By Michael Snyder/End of the American Dream November 22, 2024

It appears that something really big is in the works.  All of a sudden, a number of countries in Europe seem to be really freaking out about what is ahead, and that seems very strange.

The war in Ukraine has been actively raging since February 2022.  So why are so many European nations now telling their people to prepare for war?  What has changed?  Do they know something that we don’t?

On Tuesday, Ukraine fired six long-range missiles that were provided by the United States into Russia.U.S.-made products. On Wednesday, Ukraine fired twelve long-range missiles that were provided by the United Kingdom into Russia.

This is literally insane.

What would we do if another superpower was using Canada or Mexico to launch long-range missiles at us? Needless to say, there would be millions of Americans screaming for us to use nukes against that superpower. Well, right now there are millions of people inside Russia that want their government to use nuclear weapons against the United States and Europe.

Of course if there is a full-blown nuclear war, there won’t be any winners.  We should be doing all that we can to find a way out of this mess.

The war in Ukraine is not good for anyone except for the military-industrial complex, and so leaders on both sides should be seeking to sit down at the negotiating table while it is still possible to do so. But instead of pushing for negotiations, a number of countries in Europe appear to be preparing for war. For example, on Monday Sweden began to distribute more than 5 million copies of a booklet “advising its citizens how to prepare for war”…

Sweden on Monday started to distribute copies of a booklet advising its citizens how to prepare for war, as Nordic countries teach people how to brace for a potential Russian attack. The 32-page brochure, which is also available in English and several other languages, advises citizens on warning systems, how to seek shelter during an air raid and even psychological and digital security.

Why would Sweden need to prepare for war? Nobody is going to attack Sweden. Something doesn’t smell right. Sweden has not had to fight a war for a very long time, but apparently top Swedish officials believe that this is a very real possibility…

Civil Defense Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin made waves in January when he warned: “There could be war in Sweden.” Sweden’s then army chief Micael Byden also alarmed many when he days later said “Swedes have to mentally prepare for war.” Sweden has not gone to war in more than two centuries.

Meanwhile, Finland and Norway are also suddenly interested in getting their citizens prepared for war… As Norwegian paper Aftenposten recently reported, Norway’s citizens have also received similar “emergency preparedness” pamphlets because “in the worst case” acts of war could also affect Norway.

Finland’s government, too, has released a digital booklet to prepare citizens for “incidents and crises,” stating that the country “has always been prepared for the worst possible threat, war.” In particular, Finland has become quite paranoid. They are actually constructing a 10-foot-tall wall that is going to be 200 km long when it is finally finished… Finland shares a 1,340-kilometre (830-mile) border with Russia and Helsinki has maintained a higher level of preparedness.

But after Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine, Helsinki announced plans to build a 200-kilometre border fence with Russia. Three meters (10 feet) tall and topped with barbed wire, it is due to be completed by 2026.

Why would the Russians invade Finland?

The Russians have their hands quite full with Ukraine, and that isn’t going to change any time soon. Once again, something is not adding up.

In Germany, an incredibly detailed document that is a thousand pages long contains intricate plans for a war with Russia… According to a 1,000-page document entitled ‘Operationsplan Deutschland’, Germany would reportedly host hundreds of thousands of troops from NATO countries and serve as a logistics hub for sending huge quantities of military equipment, food and medicine toward the front.

A report by Der Spiegel in the summer said as many as 800,000 soldiers from the security bloc could be hosted by Germany as they transit to posts further East. The German army is also instructing companies and civilians on how to protect key infrastructure and mobilise for national defence, envisaging a situation in which Russia expands drone flights, spying operations and sabotage attacks across Europe.

Why are they spending so much time and energy preparing for a hypothetical war with Russia? If the Russians become convinced that an all-out war with NATO is inevitable, they won’t invade Europe with conventional forces. Instead, they will use their nukes.

And the Europeans won’t be the first to get nuked. The United States will. As I have relentlessly warned my readers, Russia has been preparing to fight a nuclear war with the United States for a long time. Their strategic nuclear arsenal is far superior to our own, their anti-missile systems are far superior to our own, and the subs that they would use to deliver a devastating first strike are so quiet that we cannot even track them effectively.

So let’s find a peaceful solution to the problem in Ukraine before events spiral completely out of control. Because right now we are closer to nuclear war than we have ever been, and the death and destruction that a full-blown nuclear war would cause would be unthinkable.

MORNING RUNDOWN: 7 BILLION LIVES AT RISK AMID GROWING NUCLEAR TENSIONS

By Charisma Staff  Nov 21, 2024

As Russia and Ukraine mark their 1,000th day of war and Western leaders give the greenlight to use long-range missiles they provided, spearheaded by President Joe Biden, the world is on the brink of nuclear war.

No, this isn’t fear-mongering to rile up the masses, this is the threat NATO faces as Russian President Vladimir Putin has said if these missiles are used against Russia, he will consider it an act of war upon Russia by NATO forces who supplied the armaments.

“This is now the time where we really start praying,” says prophetic voice Joseph Z of Z Ministries. “I’ve been praying about this because…the defeat that they experienced, and who is they? I’m talking about the Dems and these wicked lizard overlord…mafia-types, that have, honestly, acted like they are going out peacefully and kind.

“But suddenly, permission is given to this nation…and getting permission to send these spears, javelins, arrows, missiles, into the former Soviet Union. And these are USA provided,” Z continues.

But what could be the point of this? Why on earth would the current administration knowingly instigate and antagonize a nuclear-capable Russia who has said they are willing to cross that red line?

“So what they are trying to do is hand WW3 to 45/47, and there’s even calls now for Biden to step down…and there’s calls to say ‘put her [Kamala Harris] in,’” Z reveals.

In times of war, we need a wartime leader. Israel had King David. The United States had General George Washington. If the past three years are any indicator, the Biden-Harris administration is lacking a wartime leader, and the American people just voted to bring one into the White House

Z points to the repeated warnings from Putin about the potential consequences of the West’s actions, and has built a reputation as a man who carries out the threats that he makes.

“[Putin] has said you have, basically, until the holidays, until Christmas. ‘If you don’t stop, I’m going to push the button,’” Z says, believing that Putin is trying to wait as long as possible, because he knows who will assume the mantle of President of the United States next. Donald Trump has also made a name for himself as a man who is willing to use action over words.

“I have a great concern about this,” Z shares. “…I gotta tell you, if they push too fast too soon, they could let one off the leash. And the outcome of this, is devastating.”

Playing right into Z’s worst fears, Ukraine has reportedly continued to launch long-range missiles, this time using British-made ‘Storm Shadow’ missiles, into Russia.

According to the UK’s media outlet, “The Mirror”:

British-made Storm Shadow missiles have allegedly been fired into Russia for the first time today, just hours after British officials joined their U.S. counterparts and suggested they may lift an existing missile ban.

Unconfirmed reports on Russian Telegram channels cited by the Kyiv Post have alleged that 12 of the missiles flew over the border from the Kursk region today. The claims come less than a day after Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer vowed that Ukraine must have “what it needs” to counter the threat posed by Russia.

“The concern I have is what I’ve seen,” Z says, “this is why we’ve got to pray.… now we’re in a place where suddenly they’re going to try to trigger something that could turn into a domino effect.”

The potential destruction from such a trigger event is staggering, according to Z. Revealing information from analysts with whom he has communicated, an estimated death toll from a nuclear-driven World War 3 event would reach upward of 7 billion lives lost.

“This is on our front step. This is serious,” Z warns. “That they could let these tactical nukes go, or bigger ones, or any of it. I believe this is something the church, just like we had to pray about the hurricanes, just like we had to pray about the election, just like we had to pray about everything, now we’ve got to pray about this. Because this is very serious.”

WE ARE THE GENERATION OF THE BOOK OF REVELATION

MICHAEL SNYDER NOVEMBER 22, 2024

What is it going to take for people to finally start waking up?  Warheads are literally raining out of the sky.  The Russians essentially simulated what a nuclear attack on Ukraine’s fourth largest city would look like, and yet most people don’t seem too alarmed.  The Russians only used conventional warheads, but they are clearly warning us that next time things could be very different. Meanwhile, we could see a massive escalation in the Middle East at any moment.  Jesus specifically warned us that the days just before His return would be a time of “wars and rumors of wars”, and if you haven’t figured out that we are living in a time of “wars and rumors of wars” by now, I don’t know what to say.

If we really are living in the end times, war is in our future.

IN FACT, REVELATION 6:8 TELLS US THAT WAR WILL BE ONE OF THE PRIMARY REASONS WHY ONE-FOURTH OF THE ENTIRE GLOBAL POPULATION DIES DURING THE SEAL JUDGMENTS…

AND I LOOKED, AND BEHOLD A PALE HORSE: AND HIS NAME THAT SAT ON HIM WAS DEATH, AND HELL FOLLOWED WITH HIM. AND POWER WAS GIVEN UNTO THEM OVER THE FOURTH PART OF THE EARTH, TO KILL WITH SWORD, AND WITH HUNGER, AND WITH DEATH, AND WITH THE BEASTS OF THE EARTH.

This is coming.

Maybe you don’t think it is coming right away, but if the Bible is true it is coming.

And at this moment we are closer to an apocalyptic global war than we have been since the days of World War II.

Yesterday, a British missile that was fired from Ukrainian territory hit a military base in Russia and wounded a top North Korean general

A senior North Korean general was wounded in a recent Ukrainian strike in Russia’s Kursk region, Western officials said Thursday.

It is the first time Western officials have said that a high-ranking North Korean military officer has become a casualty in the escalating Russia-Ukraine conflict.

More than 10,000 North Korean troops are deployed in Kursk as the Kremlin tries to repel Ukrainian troops who mounted an offensive there in August, U.S. officials have said.

This conflict in Ukraine has evolved into a truly global struggle.

During a speech that he just delivered, the former head of the Ukrainian military boldly declared that World War III started in 2024

Ukraine’s former military Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny said that the direct involvement of Russia’s autocratic allies in its war on Ukraine means that World War III has started.

“I believe that in 2024 we can absolutely believe that the Third World War has begun,” said Zaluzhny, who is now Ukraine’s envoy to the United Kingdom, during a speech at Ukrainska Pravda’s UP100 award ceremony.

“Because in 2024, Ukraine is no longer facing Russia. Soldiers from North Korea are standing in front of Ukraine. Let’s be honest. Already in Ukraine, the Iranian ‘Shahedis’ are killing civilians absolutely openly, without any shame,” said Zaluzhny, adding that North Korean and Chinese weapons are flying into Ukraine.

On the other side, Vladimir Putin is also acknowledging that what is happening in Ukraine is now a “global” war…

On Thursday President Vladimir Putin issued a stern warning in the wake of Ukraine launching long-range strikes on Russia’s territory utilizing newly approved US and UK long-range missiles.

“Kiev has launched a long-range missile strike against military facilities located within internationally-recognized Russian territory,” began his televised address by saying. He confirmed British-made Storm Shadow missiles and US-made HIMARS were fired targets located in Bryansk and Kursk Regions.

He said this action threatens to turn the Ukraine conflict into a global war. “A regional Ukraine conflict instigated by the West has acquired elements of a global one,” Putin spelled out, and noted that these systems cannot be used without the direct operational involvement of Western military specialists.

Putin warned us that bad things would happen if western leaders allowed Ukraine to fire long-range missiles provided by them into his country.

Of course western leaders decided to call his bluff, and then they found out how serious the Russians really are about their red lines.

Following the stunning attack on Dnipro, Putin went on television and admitted to the world that his country had just used a hypersonic ballistic missile to deliver those warheads…

Today Vladimir Putin gave an unscheduled live address to the nation. He claimed that on Nov. 19, six ATACMS missiles — and on Nov. 21, several Storm Shadow missiles — had been used by Ukraine for strikes against targets in Russia’s Kursk and Bryansk regions.

According to Putin, Russia retaliated on Nov. 21 with a combined strike against a Ukrainian defense industry facility. In addition, “a field test was conducted in combat conditions” for one of Russia’s newest medium-range weapon systems: a nuclear-free hypersonic ballistic missile. “Our engineers named it ‘Oreshnik’ [‘Hazel’],” Putin declared with a smile.

It didn’t have to come to this.

Donald Trump won the election, and Joe Biden and his minions should have allowed him to make the decision about whether or not to escalate the conflict in Ukraine.

But instead, it appears that they are trying to make it very difficult for Trump or anyone else to end this war.  I really like how Tucker Carlson made this point during a recent interview…

“If you doubt how serious the opposition is to the public, not just to Trump, but to the majority of the country that voted for him, They’re trying to leave him with World War III on the way out,” Carlson urged.

Russia is furious about the Biden administration lifting restrictions on use of US developed long range missiles, and Putin has repeatedly stated that such a move would mean NATO countries are at war with Russia.

Carlson continued, “I can’t imagine a more desperate or evil thing for Tony Blinken, who I think is desperate and evil, in my view, to do. Leave him with a war?”

Most Americans have no idea how much damage U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has done.

It will be so good to see him leave Washington.

But of course there are lots of other warmongers in D.C., and they will be pushing for the war in Ukraine to continue.

If we stay on the path that we are currently on, it will lead to nuclear war.

At the end of Revelation chapter 6, there appears to be a description of a future nuclear conflict…

12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Have you noticed that very few people like to talk about this particular passage?

But we should be talking about it, because we are steamrolling toward an unthinkable global conflagration right now.

We really are living in the end times.

We really are the Book of Revelation generation.

Bible prophecy is playing out right in front of our eyes, and yet most of the population is still in a very deep state of sleep.

EUROPE / NATO

UKRAINE-NATO EMERGENCY MISSILE TALKS NEXT WEEK

Breitbart London 22 Nov 2024

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) – NATO and Ukraine will hold emergency talks Tuesday after Russia attacked a central city with an experimental, hypersonic ballistic missile that escalated the nearly 33-month-old war.

The conflict is “entering a decisive phase,” Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Friday, and “taking on very dramatic dimensions.”

Ukraine´s parliament canceled a session as security was tightened following Thursday’s Russian strike on a military facility in the city of Dnipro.

In a stark warning to the West, President Vladimir Putin said in a nationally televised speech to his nation that the attack with the intermediate-range Oreshnik missile was retaliation for Kyiv´s use of U.S. and British longer-range missiles capable of striking deeper into Russian territory.

Putin said Western air defense systems would be powerless to stop the new missile.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov kept up the bellicose tone on Friday, blaming “the reckless decisions and actions of Western countries” in supplying weapons to Ukraine to strike Russia.

“The Russian side has clearly demonstrated its capabilities, and the contours of further retaliatory actions in the event that our concerns were not taken into account have also been quite clearly outlined,” he said.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, widely seen as having the warmest relations with the Kremlin in the European Union, echoed Moscow’s talking points, suggesting the use of U.S.-supplied weapons in Ukraine likely requires direct American involvement.

“These are rockets that are fired and then guided to a target via an electronic system, which requires the world´s most advanced technology and satellite communications capability,” Orbán said on state radio. “There is a strong assumption … that these missiles cannot be guided without the assistance of American personnel.”

Orbán cautioned against underestimating Russia´s responses, emphasizing that the country´s recent modifications to its nuclear deployment doctrine should not be dismissed as a “bluff.” “It´s not a trick… there will be consequences,” he said.

Separately in Kyiv, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský called Thursday’s missile strike an “escalatory step and an attempt of the Russian dictator to scare the population of Ukraine and to scare the population of Europe.”

At a news conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Lipavský also expressed his full support for delivering the necessary additional air defense systems to protect Ukrainian civilians from the “heinous attacks.”

He underlined that the Czech Republic will impose no limits on the use of its weapons and equipment given to Ukraine.

Three lawmakers from Ukraine’s parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, confirmed that Friday’s previously scheduled session was called off due to the ongoing threat of Russian missiles targeting government buildings in central Kyiv.

In addition, there also was a recommendation to limit the work of all commercial offices and nongovernmental organizations “in that perimeter, and local residents were warned of the increased threat,” said lawmaker Mykyta Poturaiev, who added this is not the first time such a threat has been received.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy´s office continued to work in compliance with standard security measures, a spokesperson said.

Ukraine´s Main Intelligence Directorate said the Oreshnik missile, whose name in Russian means “hazelnut tree,” was fired from the Kapustin Yar 4th Missile Test Range in Russia´s Astrakhan region, and flew 15 minutes before striking Dnipro. The missile had six nonnuclear warheads each carrying six submunitions and reached a spoeed of Mach 11, it said.

Test launches of a similar missile were conducted in October 2023 and June 2024, the directorate said.

The Pentagon confirmed that Russia´s missile was a new, experimental type of intermediate-range missile based on its RS-26 Rubezh intercontinental ballistic missile.

Elsewhere in Ukraine, Russia struck a residential district of Sumy overnight with Iranian-designed Shahed drones, killing two people and injuring 13, the regional administration said..

Ukraine´s Suspilne media, quoting Sumy regional head Volodymyr Artiukh, said the drones were stuffed with shrapnel elements. “These weapons are used to destroy people, not to destroy objects,” said Artiukh, according to Suspilne.

NATO’S NEWEST MEMBERS UPDATE THEIR CIVIL PREPAREDNESS GUIDES FOR RISK OF WAR

JARI TANNER and JAN M. OLSEN Mon, November 18, 2024 at 9:27 AM CST

HELSINKI (AP) — Sweden and Finland, which recently gave up neutrality and joined NATO following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, sent out updated civil preparedness guides on Monday with instructions how to survive in war.

The guides are similar to those in Denmark and Norway, though none mentions Russia by name.

In January, Sweden’s former military commander-in-chief Gen. Micael Bydén said it openly: Swedes should mentally prepare for the possibility of war. Sweden in March formally joined NATO as the 32nd member of the transatlantic military alliance, nearly a year after Finland.

The updated Swedish guide explains how to respond to an attack with nuclear, chemical or biological weapons: “Take cover in the same way as with an airstrike. Shelters provide the best protection. After a couple days, the radiation has decreased sharply.”

“It is no secret that the security situation has deteriorated since the previous brochure was issued in 2018,” Civil Defense Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin told a press conference last month. The Swedish Baltic Sea island of Gotland sits a little more than 300 kilometers (186 miles) from the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad.

In Finland, which shares a 1,340-kilometer (832-mile) land border with Russia, the guide is compiled by the government, which has stressed that “preparedness is a civic skill in the current global situation.”

The Nordic countries all urge people to stockpile drinking water, canned food, medicine, heating, toilet paper, money and flashlights and candles. And if possible, keep the car fully refueled.

The checklist also includes iodine tablets, in case of a nuclear event.

NATO PLANS FOR LARGE-SCALE TRANSPORT OF WOUNDED TROOPS IN CASE OF RUSSIA WAR

Reuters Published: 25 September ,2024: 03:10 PM GSTUpdated: 25 September ,2024: 03:25 PM GST

NATO plans to coordinate the transport of a large number of wounded troops away from frontlines in case of a war with Russia, potentially via hospital trains as air evacuations may not be feasible, according to a senior general.

The future scenario for medical evacuations will differ from allies’ experience in Afghanistan and Iraq, Lieutenant-General Alexander Sollfrank, the head of NATO’s logistics command, told Reuters in an interview.

In a conflict with Russia, Western militaries would likely be faced with a much larger war zone, a higher number of injured troops and at least a temporary lack of air superiority close to the frontlines, the German general said.

“The challenge will be to swiftly ensure high-quality care for, in the worst case, a great number of wounded,” he said without specifying how many injured troops NATO would expect.

The planning for medical evacuations is part of a much broader drive by NATO, prompted by Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine, to overhaul and boost its ability to deter and defend against any Russian assault.

The German military has said it expects Russia to be able to attack a NATO country as soon as 2029, while Russian President Vladimir Putin casts the West as the aggressor for arming Ukraine. The Ukraine war has caused the sharpest confrontation between Russia and the West since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis.

Sollfrank runs NATO’s Joint Support and Enabling Command (JSEC), tasked with coordinating the swift movement of troops and tanks across Europe as well as logistical preparations such as the storage of munitions on NATO’s eastern flank.

Recently, JSEC – which is based in the southern German town of Ulm – staged an exercise in coordination of patient flows.

Should a conflict with Russia arise, wounded troops will not only need to be transported over a larger distance than in other wars of recent years, Sollfrank said.

Russian air defenses and jets would threaten medical evacuation flights in a way that insurgents in Afghanistan or Iraq could not, likely creating a need for hospital trains that can transport more casualties at the same time than aircraft.
“Air superiority will have to be achieved in the first place. It will require time to succeed over the entire length and depth of the front line,” Sollfrank said. “For planning reasons, all options to take a great number of wounded to medical installations need to be considered, which includes trains but potentially also buses.”

Differing medical regulations between countries are another hurdle to overcome, Sollfrank said. A “military medical Schengen,” akin to the political Schengen zone that allows free movement within most of the European Union, could be a solution.

It could entail an area of free passage for sensitive medications such as narcotics or strong painkillers, which would be needed to treat wounded troops but whose cross-border transport is regulated.

NATO COUNTRIES PREPARING POPULATIONS FOR WAR – MEDIA

NORWAY, SWEDEN AND FINLAND ARE REPORTEDLY URGING CITIZENS TO STOCK UP ON ESSENTIALS TO GET THROUGH THE FIRST FEW DAYS OF A CRISIS

A Swedish soldier takes part in Nordic Response military exercise on the Finland/Norway border

18 Nov, 2024 20:08 RT

Several Nordic countries have published information advising their populations on how to prepare for a possible war or other unexpected crises, multiple media outlets have reported.

Sweden started sending out millions of updated booklets this week titled “In case of crisis or war.” This year’s pamphlet is twice as large as the last edition because of what the government describes as a worsening security situation due to the Ukraine conflict.

“The security situation is serious and we all need to strengthen our resilience to face various crises and ultimately war,” Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency director Mikael Frisell has stated.

Finland has launched a new website on “preparing for incidents and crises,” while Norwegians have reportedly begun receiving pamphlets urging them to be prepared to manage on their own for a week in the event of extreme weather, war or other threats.

The guides include instructions on what to do in the event of several scenarios and ask citizens to make sure they can take care of themselves, at least initially, in the event of a crisis.

Finns are urged to be prepared to cope with power outages during the winter months with a back-up power supply, iodine tablets (used to protect the thyroid gland from the effects of radiation) and easy-to-cook foods. The Finnish online brochure also explains how the government plans to respond in case the country is under attack.

Recommendations in Sweden include keeping enough food and drinking water for 72 hours, suggesting citizens stock up on potatoes, cabbage, carrots and eggs.

Earlier this year, Denmark’s emergency management agency informed the public on how much water, food and medicine individuals needed to get through a crisis situation lasting three days.

Both Stockholm and Helsinki recently dropped decades of military non-alliance to join NATO after hostilities broke out between Russia and Ukraine. Sweden, the newest addition to the US-led military bloc, joined this year; Finland did so in 2023. Norway and Denmark were among its founding members.

STOCKPILE DIAPERS, MEDICATION, BABY FOOD: NATO MEMBERS SWEDEN AND FINLAND ADVISE CITIZENS ON HOW TO SURVIVE WAR

Sana Noor Haq Mon, November 18, 2024 at 7:59 PM CST CNN

Sweden and Finland have updated guidance to their citizens on how to survive war, as NATO allies bolster defense measures against the backdrop of the Ukraine conflict.

Both nations joined the transatlantic alliance in the past two years, after Russia invaded its neighbor. Many European countries have since ramped up military spending to bolster long-term security in the region.

Booklets distributed to millions of households in the Nordic nations include instructions on how to prepare for the effects of military conflicts, communications outages and power cuts, as well as extreme weather events.

From stockpiling bottled water and sanitary products, to growing edible foodstuffs at home, government authorities offered tips on how residents could sustain themselves in the event of war. The brochures also include advice for parents and caregivers, instructing people to preserve diapers, medication and baby food.

The Swedish government will distribute “Om krisen eller kriget kommer (If crisis or war comes),” to all five million households over a two-week period from November 18, according to the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB), a governmental agency that compiled the pamphlet.

The fifth version of the Swedish brochure, which was first published in World War II, will place “greater emphasis on preparing for war,” a statement from the MSB said on Monday. The digital version of brochure, released in October, has been downloaded about 55,000 times, the agency added.

“The state of the world has worsened drastically in recent years. War is being waged in our vicinity. Extreme weather events are becoming increasingly common. Terror threats, cyberattacks, and disinformation campaigns are being used to undermine and influence us,” a statement on the MSB website said.

“To resist these threats, we must stand united and take responsibility for our country. If we are attacked, everyone must help defend Sweden’s independence and our democracy. We build resilience every day – together.”

New advice in the 2024 edition includes tips on evacuation, how to stop bleeding, dealing with anxiety, preparedness for pets, how to speak to children about crisis and war, and how to support especially vulnerable members of the population, added MSB.

Finland’s Ministry of the Interior also issued new crisis guidance on Monday, giving readers advice on how to prepare for long power cuts, water outages, telecommunications disruptions, extreme weather events, and military conflict.

Earlier this year, Norway and Denmark – two other members of the 32-party bloc – distributed updated wartime guidance on how people should prepare for potential crises.

NATO FLEXES ITS MUSCLES AGAINST RUSSIA

A NATO exercise is taking place 1300km from Moscow, the first time it has been held in the Finnish Arctic.

This is the largest exercise of the Atlantic Alliance artillery in Europe, ever held in Europe.

Firing exercises are taking place in Finland, which recently joined NATO, as well as in Estonia, Poland, and Germany, just across from Russia.

5,000 NATO soldiers have been deployed on a 1000 squarekm firing range and training area, with temperatures of -20°.

While the conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues to drag on and the Kremlin threatens NATO with reprisals if it intervenes, this military operation has, above all, a symbolic significance.

NATO ALLIES CONSULTING ON NORTH KOREAN TROOP DEPLOYMENT TO RUSSIA

This handout from South Korea’s National Intelligence Service released on October 18, 2024 shows a satellite image by Airbus Defence and Space of Russia’s Khabarovsk military facility, where the NIS said North Korean personnel gathered within the training ground on October 16, 2024.

NATO allies are discussing the deployment of North Korean troops to Russia, a NATO spokesperson said on Wednesday.

“Allies have confirmed evidence of a DPRK troop deployment to Russia,” spokesperson Farah Dakhlallah said, without specifying which allies. “We are actively consulting within the Alliance on this matter, and the North Atlantic Council will receive a briefing from (South Korea) and further discuss this matter soon.”

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said earlier on Wednesday there is evidence that North Korean troops are in Russia but that it remained to be seen what they would be doing there.

RUSSIA SAYS IT SEES ‘CONCENTRATED PRESENCE’ OF NATO WARSHIPS IN BLACK SEA AS A THREAT

Reuters Published: 18 July ,2024: 01:47 PM GSTUpdated: 18 July ,2024: 01:51 PM GST

The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russia would consider any plans to establish a permanent presence of NATO warships in the Black Sea as a threat, given the alliance’s involvement in the Ukraine conflict.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the remark when asked by reporters on a conference call about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s new maritime security strategy. Zelenskiy has spoken about the need to ensure that the Russian Navy does not dominate the Black Sea.

“Of course, the concentrated presence of NATO ships – we are paying attention to Bulgaria and Romania, the coastal states that are members of the (NATO) alliance – of course this represents, especially in the current situation, an additional threat to Russia,” Peskov told reporters.

“Of course, Russia will take all necessary measures to ensure its own security.”

RUSSIA DEPLOYS 24 SHIPS WITH KALIBR MISSILE CARRIERS TO BLACK SEA

Story by Bohdan Babaiev

Russia deployed Kalibr cruise missile carriers to the Black Sea

his morning, November 21, nearly two dozen Russian ships deployed for combat duty were spotted in the Black Sea. Five of these ships are equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles, according to the Ukrainian Navy.

According to the military, these five missile carriers in the Black Sea can launch up to 28 Kalibr missiles in a single volley if fired.

At the same time, no enemy ships have been detected in the Sea of Azov.

The Ukrainian Navy also reported that two Russian ships have been spotted in the Mediterranean Sea, one of which is a Kalibr missile carrier capable of launching up to 16 missiles.

Russian forces’ use of Kalibr missiles in attacks on Ukraine

On November 17, during the latest large-scale combined strike on Ukraine, Russian forces launched 90 drones and 120 missiles, including Kalibrs, fired from the Black Sea.

At that time, the Ukrainian Navy reported that four Russian missile carriers were in the Black Sea, with a combined salvo of up to 24 Kalibr missiles.

The Ukrainian Air Force also noted that in repelling the attack, 144 enemy targets were shot down, including Kalibr missiles.

Additionally, early this morning, November 21, the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the takeoff of a Russian MiG-31K, a carrier of air-launched ballistic missiles, the Kinzhal, which led to the declaration of a large-scale air alert in Ukraine.

Afterward, a high-speed target was tracked, moving toward Dnipropetrovsk, where explosions were heard in the city.

Later, it was confirmed that Russian Tu-95 aircraft were in the air, likely launching X-101 missiles toward Ukraine.

INDO-PACIFIC LEADERS JOIN NATO SUMMIT IN WASHINGTON AMID RISING GLOBAL TENSIONS

Reuters Published: 10 July ,2024: 09:23 PM GSTUpdated: 10 July ,2024: 09:24 PM GST

Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister Ali Sabry attends a meeting of foreign ministers from the EU, Indo-Pacific and ASEAN countries, in Brussels, Belgium February 2, 2024

Joining this week’s meeting of NATO leaders in Washington will be some countries far from Europe or North America – Australia, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea.

Who is coming and what is the link between NATO, which was founded to help the North Atlantic region counter the threat from the Soviet Union, and countries in Asia and the Pacific?

Which Indo-Pacific leaders will attend?

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, South Korea’s President Yoon Suk Yeol, New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and Australian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Richard Marles are all attending.

This is the third successive NATO summit for the countries, referred to as the Indo-Pacific Four (IP-4). They are due to hold a session with NATO and EU leaders on Thursday amid rising concerns that China might attack Taiwan and worries about Russia’s stepped-up security ties with China and nuclear-armed North Korea.

US President Joe Biden’s administration has worked to strengthen ties in the Indo-Pacific, including with India, and has been disappointed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Moscow just ahead of the NATO meeting, which he will not attend.

Australian Prime Minster Anthony Albanese also will not be at the summit, given domestic political priorities.

What is behind NATO’s interest in the region?

US allies globally are increasingly aligned in their opposition to Russia’s war in Ukraine, and Moscow’s “no limits” partnership with China, which is helping to reconstitute the Russian military.

In 2022, NATO members identified China as a potential threat for the first time. At the 2023 NATO summit in Vilnius, they condemned China and Russia for “their mutually reinforcing attempts to undercut the rules-based international order,” and warned about Beijing’s “coercive tactics” to divide the Alliance.

A draft of the Washington summit statement called China a “decisive enabler” of Russia’s Ukraine war effort and said Beijing poses systemic challenges to Europe and to security.

It stressed the importance of the Indo-Pacific to NATO, saying developments there directly affect Euro-Atlantic security, and welcomed enhanced cooperation with Asia-Pacific partners to support Ukraine.

US national security advisor Jake Sullivan said the NATO allies and Indo-Pacific partners would launch four new joint projects – on Ukraine, artificial intelligence, disinformation, and cybersecurity.

But while the Biden administration pushed for European allies to pay more attention to the Indo-Pacific after Biden took office in 2021, talk with Indo-Pacific countries this time will likely be more about how they can help Ukraine’s war effort.

What steps have NATO members taken in the Indo-Pacific?

Recent years have seen some stepped up European engagement in the Indo-Pacific, notably Britain’s involvement with the US in the AUKUS project to provide nuclear-powered submarines to Australia.

However, most European defense engagement in Asia has been ad hoc and modest, involving occasional patrols or exercises by small visiting forces. Many NATO allies and Indo-Pacific countries do not want to see the alliance expanding its remit beyond the North Atlantic theater.

A proposal to establish a NATO liaison office in Tokyo, which angered China, was blocked by France last year.

What is next for NATO involvement in the region?

Some analysts contend that Europe’s NATO members must boost their ability to deal with European security challenges to enable the US to focus on Asia and threats posed by China, including the dispute over Taiwan, the democratic island Beijing claims as its territory.

Christopher Johnstone, a former senior official in Biden’s National Security Council, said the biggest contribution Europe could make was “to ensure that it is prepared to shoulder the burden of deterrence against the Russian threat in the event of a Taiwan or other contingency in the Indo-Pacific.”

NATO has touted efforts by members to meet defense spending goals of 2 percent of GDP, but analysts say that decades of low spending have left most countries unable to play any meaningful role the Indo-Pacific.

“There’s nothing (NATO countries) can really do that would make a material difference,” in an Indo-Pacific conflict, said Elbridge Colby, a former Pentagon official in the Trump administration.

Colby said most European militaries would be reliant on the US for basic logistics.

“It’s entirely possible that their contribution would be a net negative,” he said.

EU STATE MOVES AIR DEFENSE SYSTEMS TO UKRAINIAN BORDER

HUNGARY NEEDS TO PROTECT ITSELF AMID THE “GREATEST-EVER” RISK OF SPILLOVER, THE DEFENSE MINISTER HAS SAID

21 Nov, 2024 11:54 RT

Hungarian Defense Minister Kristof Szalay-Bobrovniczky

Hungary is moving some of its air defense systems to the Ukrainian border due to the latest escalation of the conflict between Moscow and Kiev, Defense Minister Kristof Szalay-Bobrovniczky announced on Wednesday evening.

The deployment, announced following a defense council meeting, is a contingency measure, the official explained in a video statement which cited decisions by Western governments to allow Kiev attack Russian territory with long-range weapons and Moscow’s change of nuclear posture this week, respectively.

”To prepare for all possibilities, I ordered the recently purchased air control and air defense systems and the capabilities built on them to be installed in the northeast,” he said, noting that the threat posed by the Ukraine conflict is “greater than ever”. Hungary remains committed to a peaceful resolution, Szalay-Bobrovniczky stressed.

The new military hardware will improve detection of aerial targets potentially dangerous to Hungary and allow swifter responses by the military, the minister explained. Hungarian troops are currently on stand-by, he added.

The current round of escalation came after US President Joe Biden reportedly authorized Ukrainian attacks with ATACMS ballistic missiles inside internationally recognized Russian territory. The UK and France have allegedly followed suit by changing the rules for Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles that they donated to Ukraine. However neither government has announced the policy change officially.

This week, the Russian military reported that it had intercepted several ATACMS missiles over Russia’s Bryansk Region and Storm Shadow missiles at an undisclosed location. According to media reports, the European weapons were fired at a target in Russia’s Kursk Region. Kiev’s troops are currently trying to maintain control part of the region that they seized in an incursion in August.

US President-elect Donald Trump, who will take office in January, claimed during his election campaign that he would end the Ukraine conflict in 24 hours, if voters returned him to power in Washington.

Biden reportedly intends to use any opportunity during his remaining two months in the White House to bolster Kiev against Moscow. Critics have accused the Democrat of trying to force Trump to continue hostilities.

NATO STATE BLASTS ‘SENSELESS’ BIDEN MISSILE U-TURN

Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico.

18 Nov, 2024 16:03 RT

Lifting restrictions on Ukraine’s use of US-supplied long-range missiles against targets deep into Russian territory is senseless and counterproductive, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has said.

Biden has reportedly removed the restrictions on Ukraine’s use of ATACMS missiles, according to a New York Times report on Sunday. The White House has made no official statements.

“This is an unprecedented escalation of tensions,” Fico said on Monday, calling it an attempt to negatively affect the policies of US President-elect Donald Trump and “frustrate and delay” any peace talks.

Fico added that he was surprised by the speed with which some EU member states welcomed the reported move.

“This is simply a confirmation that the European Union is not capable of formulating fundamental foreign policy positions on its own, and that the West wants the war in Ukraine to continue at any cost,” the Slovak PM said.

Slovak Defense Minister Robert Kalinak and Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar have been instructed to “oppose this American decision on any world forum,” Fico noted.

Bratislava “strongly disagrees” with the US decision, viewing it as a “senseless” move that threatens Slovakia’s national interests, according to Fico. As Ukraine’s neighbor, Slovakia wants to see the conflict end as soon as possible.

President Vladimir Putin warned in September that the use of Western weapons on Russia’s internationally recognised territory would “significantly change the nature of the conflict.” According to Putin, it would mean that “NATO countries are directly involved in the military conflict” with Russia, astheir personnel would have to be involved in the targeting process.

Slovakia is a member of both the EU and NATO, but Fico has dissented from the policy of both blocs regarding their unconditional support for Kiev, and has joined neighboring Hungary’s calls for a ceasefire and peace instead.

NATO MUST REACT TO RUSSIAN INCURSIONS ON ITS AIRSPACE, SAYS ROMANIA

Reuters Published: 18 September ,2024: 02:28 PM GSTUpdated: 18 September ,2024: 03:35 PM GST

NATO must enact a “robust coordinated” response to incidents in which Russian missiles or drones fired at Ukraine enter the alliance’s airspace, Romanian Defense Minister Angel Tilvar said on Wednesday.

States on NATO’s eastern flank, whose defense ministers met in Bucharest on Wednesday, have repeatedly said Russia’s activities in the Black Sea region and beyond were a source of deep concern.

Earlier this month, NATO states Romania and Latvia saw Russian drones crash after breaching their airspace, prompting official calls for measures to act jointly to counter Russia air incursions.

Last week Ukraine accused Russia of using strategic bombers to strike a civilian grain vessel in a missile attack in Black Sea waters near Romania, further escalating tensions between Moscow and the military alliance.

“B9 states are profoundly concerned about the repeated incursions of Russia’s drones and missiles in NATO air space, in Poland, Romania, Latvia, as well as escalating tensions along NATO’s eastern flank,” Tilvar told reporters, referring to the regional grouping of NATO members.

“That is why a robust, coordinated response on an allied level is needed as well as enforcing the rotational air defense and integrated anti-missile model as soon as possible.” Polish deputy defense minister Pawel Zalewski said a meeting of NATO defense ministers in October will need to address destroying drones entering allied air space.

“We have confirmed hybrid attacks on allies, as well as the participation of Belarus in Russia’s actions,” Zalewski added.

Romania shares a 650-km (400-mile) border with Ukraine and has had Russian drone fragments stray into its territory repeatedly over the past year. Romanian territory lies close to Ukrainian Danube River ports, frequent Russian targets.

GERMANY OPENS NATO NAVAL COMMAND CENTER ON BALTIC SEA

AFP Published: 21 October ,2024: 04:03 PM GSTUpdated: 21 October ,2024: 04:23 PM GST

Germany on Monday inaugurated a new NATO naval command center to boost defense readiness in the Baltic Sea region as Russia pursues its invasion of Ukraine.

Led by Germany, the Commander Task Force Baltic will be “ready to direct naval operations in times of peace, crisis and war”, said Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.

“The relevance of the region has become even more evident against the backdrop of the ongoing Russian aggression in our immediate neighbourhood,” Pistorius told a ceremony for the new hub.

The centre in the port city of Rostock will be led by a German admiral and manned by staff from 11 other NATO countries.

It will aim to “coordinate naval activities in the region” and provide NATO with a “maritime situation picture in the Baltic Sea region around the clock”, according to the German defence forces.

The participants include Finland and Sweden, which joined NATO after Russia’s February 2022 invasion.

Germany’s intelligence chief last week predicted Moscow will likely be capable of launching an attack on NATO by 2030.

Berlin has also accused Moscow of ramping up spying and sabotage activities against Western nations.

“In Germany and Europe, we witness that Russian aggression manifests in various ways, such as cyber and hybrid threats which continue to blur the lines between peace and war,” Pistorius said.

“This is why we must ensure that (Russian President Vladimir) Putin will not have his way. We must defend ourselves and do whatever we can to support our partners at NATO’s eastern flank,” he said.

The center will have 180 staff including representatives of Britain, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden.

  • A 1,000-page document outlines Germany’s national defence plan, media claim
  • Comes as the US authorised use of anti-personnel mines on Ukraine frontline
  • Putin yesterday lowered the threshold for nuclear response to attacks on Russia

European nations are gearing up for an all-out war on the continent as Ukraine launched US-made missiles into Russia for the first time and Vladimir Putin officially lowered the threshold for Moscow to consider a nuclear strike.

Germany‘s foreign minister yesterday vowed her country ‘will not be intimidated’ by Putin, just one day after German media revealed the nation will transform into a NATO staging ground if the conflict to the East should escalate.

According to a 1,000-page document entitled ‘Operationsplan Deutschland’, Germany would reportedly host hundreds of thousands of troops from NATO countries and serve as a logistics hub for sending huge quantities of military equipment, food and medicine toward the front.

Businesses have been advised to create crisis plans detailing employee responsibilities during emergencies and will be instructed to stockpile diesel generators or install wind turbines to ensure energy independence.

Germany’s preparation follows examples set by Nordic countries, where pamphlets and emails have already been sent to millions of homes with advice on seeking shelter, stockpiling supplies and rudimentary military training.

Finland reminded its citizens of their ‘national defence obligation’ and recently launched a new information website, while Sweden laid out a detailed guide on how to seek shelter and what to do in case of a nuclear attack.

Their instruction manuals follow similar advice issued by their Baltic neighbours Norway and Denmark, which both put out checklists for food and medicine supplies citizens should have ready.

Meanwhile, the US is set to provide Ukraine’s army with shipments of landmines to slow the advance of Russian ground troops as Putin’s forces wear down Ukrainian defensive lines in Donetsk.

Officials in Washington confirmed late last night that American anti-personnel mines would be sent to Ukraine on the proviso the punishing weapons are only used to repel Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory.

Putin yesterday signed off on an updated version of the Kremlin’s nuclear doctrine that broadens the scope for Moscow to turn to its fearsome atomic arsenal on the same day that US-made missiles rained down on Russian soil

The new document, first announced in September, allows Putin’s strategic forces to deploy their devastating weapons if Russia or Belarus is threatened by a non-nuclear nation supported by a nuclear power.

Threats that could warrant a nuclear response from Russia’s leadership include an attack with conventional missiles, drones or other aircraft, according to the updated document.

Ukraine’s strike on an ammunition depot in Russia’s Bryansk region yesterday with US-supplied ATACMS (Army Tactical Missile System) meets these criteria, with Moscow saying that it marks a ‘new phase of the Western war’.

‘This is, of course, a signal that they want to escalate,’ Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov said, while foreign intelligence chief Sergei Naryshkin said attempts by NATO countries to facilitate Ukrainian missile strikes deep inside Russia ‘would not go unpunished’.

But Ukraine’s foreign ministry issued a defiant statement in spite of the Kremlin’s nuclear sabre-rattling, declaring that ‘Ukraine will never submit to the occupiers and the Russian military will be punished for violating international law’.

‘We need peace through strength, not appeasement,’ the ministry added, as Volodymyr Zelensky called on Kyiv‘s allies to ‘force’ Moscow into a ‘just peace’ and vowed his troops would ‘never surrender’.

The US provision of ATACMS to Ukraine for strikes in Russia along with shipments of anti-personnel mines suggests the Biden administration is scrambling to leave Ukraine on the best possible footing ahead of Donald Trump‘s return to the White House.

In Eastern Ukraine, Russia’s forces are steadily grinding towards the logistics hub of Pokrovsk having taken large swathes of territory in the Donetsk region in recent months.

Putin’s army took 185 square miles of Ukrainian territory in October, a record since the first weeks of the conflict in March 2022, according to an analysis of data provided by the real-time conflict tracker from the Institute for the Study of War.

There are mounting concerns that Trump could push for a hasty ceasefire requiring Ukraine to cede significant portions of its territory – a prospect that leaves both sides fighting to capture as much land as possible to strengthen their position ahead of negotiations.

Russia’s threats were also dismissed by German foreign minister Annalena Baerbock yesterday.

Speaking in Poland at a meeting of EU foreign ministers marking the 1000th day of war in Ukraine, Baerbock said of Putin’s aggression: ‘He didn’t just start doing this 1,000 days ago. He started back in 2014.

‘Germany in particular made the mistake back then, especially politically, of allowing itself to be intimidated by this fear and, above all, not listening to its partners – especially our Eastern European partners who made it clear at the time: We must not rely on promises from the Kremlin.

‘We must invest in our own security and protection,’ she concluded.

The ‘Operationsplan Deutschland’, details of which were first released by Frankfurter Allegmeine, appear central to the German government’s contingency plan to prepare the country for war.

German Lieutenant Colonel and Head of Hamburg State Command Jörn Plischke is one staunch advocate of the need to prepare for a possible war in Europe and has embarked on a drive to ‘shake up’ Germany’s industrial and agricultural sectors.

Speaking at a meeting at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, the Colonel declared companies in these sectors must train five extra truck drivers per hundred employees.

‘Seventy per cent of truckers on German roads are Eastern Europeans,’ Plischke said. ‘If there’s a war there, where will they be?’

He went on to implore companies to ensure they are self-sufficient by securing alternate energy sources and stockpiling supplies.

Meanwhile, NATO is holding its largest-ever artillery exercise just 70 miles from the border where the British Army is testing what military chiefs have described as a ‘game-changing’ weapon.

Finland, which joined the military alliance last year, is hosting up to 3,600 soldiers from 28 nations for the exercise, known as Dynamic Front.

Live fire drills began on Sunday in the northern Lapland region, and are part of a series of exercises, with further ones planned in Estonia, Germany, Romania and Poland.

The British Army is using the opportunity to put its Archer 155-mm guns to the test, weapons which can release high explosive shells or GPS-guided munitions and hit targets 30 miles away.

The guns have been labelled a battlefield game-changer by British troops, with Major Barney Ingram telling the i newspaper that ‘you can, realistically, with this capability, neutralise most targets’.

Meanwhile, Sir Keir Starmer yesterday offered his biggest hint yet that No. 10 would authorise Ukraine to fire UK Storm Shadow missiles into Russia on the same day that US ATACMS struck Russian targets.

Speaking at the G20 summit in Brazil, the British Prime Minister said: ‘I’ve been doubling down in my clear message that we need to ensure Ukraine has what is needed for as long as needed to win this war against Putin.

‘I am not going to go into operational details. You would not expect me to. The only winner in that would be Putin and it would undermine Ukraine.’

He added that the rhetoric currently coming from Russia was ‘irresponsible’ and would not deter the UK’s response.

Zelenksy’s plea to use UK Storm Shadow missiles on targets in Russia has so far been rebuffed by Downing Street for fears of escalating the conflict.

A senior defence source said the UK prefers to ‘confirm by use’, for example, when a missile strikes.

But it is expected the restrictions will soon be relaxed after the US permitted Ukraine to strike Russia with ATACMS.  The White House’s previous reluctance to authorise strikes on Russian soil with Western weaponry was thought to be the main obstacle preventing the UK from greenlighting the use of Storm Shadow missiles, given that the projectiles contain US-made components and often rely on targeting data provided by Washington.

Following the ATACMS strike in Bryansk early yesterday, Moscow’s emergency ministry announced it had begun mass-producing mobile bomb shelters that can protect against shockwaves and radiation from a nuclear blast.

The new ‘KUB-M’ shelters will offer protection for 54 people for up to two days against natural and man-made hazards, Moscow’s emergency ministry has said.

‘The mobile shelter is a multifunctional structure that provides protection for people from various threats, including natural disasters and man-made accidents,’ its research institute explained, calling it ‘an important step towards improving the safety of citizens’.

They can easily be transported on a truck and connected to water supplies, and can also be deployed in Russia’s vast northern permafrost, it added.

In anticipation of Ukraine receiving permission to use ATACMS, Russia’s air force is said to have redeployed many of its fighter jets and strategic bomber aircraft away from the airbases in range of the missiles to sites further east.

But there are still more than 200 military facilities that could be battered by the US-manufactured munitions from positions along the 800-mile-long frontline.

Among the first likely targets for Ukrainian strikes could be the Kuzminka Military Base, a critical staging area for Putin’s forces between the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don and the Ukrainian border which acts as a hub for vehicle storage, troop assembly and operational planning.

Russia’s 381st artillery regiment is also located close to the Kuzminka base along with several logistics centres.

Meanwhile, in Kursk, Kyiv’s troops could seek to target the headquarters of Russia’s 448th Missile Brigade or regional assembly points used to gather troops preparing to push back the Ukrainian incursion in the region.

Targeting these sites could cripple Russian logistics, command, and combat support, significantly reducing Moscow’s offensive capabilities in occupied Ukrainian territory and harming efforts to retake territory in Kursk.

However, the overall supply of ATACMS missiles to Ukraine is short, so US officials and analysts have questioned whether allowing Ukraine to use the weapons systems is really worth it given the potential consequences that could ensue.

Jennifer Kavanagh, director of military analysis at the Defense Priorities think tank, was critical of the Biden administration’s decision to approve the use of ATACMS on targets in Russia.

‘Expanding Ukraine’s ability to launch offensive strikes with Western weapons inside Russia will not alter the trajectory of the war or help Kyiv gain an advantage against a better equipped and more resilient adversary.

‘Any escalation could reverberate on Ukraine itself. With the Biden administration on its way out and the incoming Trump administration indicating an intention to end the war, Putin has little incentive to act with restraint in his retaliation toward Kyiv.’

But proponents of the policy say that even a few strikes deeper inside Russia would force its military to change deployments and expend more of its resources.

George Barros, leader of the Russia team and GEOINT team at ISW that compiled the list of targets, sought to highlight the way in which ATACMS could impact Putin’s troops and campaigned for the Biden administration to allow strikes beyond Kursk as a result.

‘Reminder that there are hundreds of valid, legal, legitimate, and operationally consequential military targets in range of Ukrainian ATACMS,’ he wrote.

‘The Biden Administration’s shift to allow ATACMS use in Russia is a good thing.’

Matthew Savill, the director of military sciences at the Royal United Services Institute, said of Ukraine’s ATACMS attacks: ‘Many of the best targets – helicopters and glide-bomb armed aircraft attacking Ukrainian cities and troops in the north or in Kursk have largely moved to airbases outside the range of ATACMS.

‘This still leaves plenty of opportunities to strike military headquarters and ammunition or supply locations supporting Russian and North Korean troops, but this would be a reduced impact from when the Ukrainians first requested these weapons.

PUTIN’S NEW MISSILE LEAVES THE WHOLE OF EUROPE MINUTES FROM ARMAGEDDON: HYPERSONIC WEAPON USED IN UKRAINE ‘COULD HIT LONDON IN 20 MINUTES’ AND STRIKE ANYWHERE IN EUROPE WITH MULTIPLE NUCLEAR WARHEADS

By DAVID AVERRE DAILYMAIL

Published: 11:30 EST, 22 November 2024 | Updated: 12:29 EST, 22 November 2024

Vladimir Putin‘s experimental hypersonic rocket unleashed on Ukraine for the first time yesterday could strike any city in Europe in under 20 minutes, it is feared.

Ukraine’s air force raised the alarm early Thursday morning that Russia‘s forces had deployed an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) as security cameras captured the moment multiple warheads rained down over the city of Dnipro.

Putin later revealed the strike was conducted by the ‘Oreshnik’ – a never-before-seen intermediate-range ballistic missile (IBRM) – in response to Ukraine’s use of UK-supplied Storm Shadow rockets to hit targets in Russia’s Kursk region.

The weapon is not as powerful or fast as Russia’s most fearsome ICBMs like the RS-24 Yars, which is capable of unleashing several separate nuclear warheads anywhere in the US after flying through space at 19,000mph.

But the ‘Oreshnik’ is still a hypersonic projectile that can fly at 10 times the speed of sound – or around 7,600mph – up to a range of roughly 5,000km, or 3,100 miles, according to Russian military sources.

If the missile was launched from the Kapustin Yar range in Russia’s southern Astrakhan region, as it was in yesterday’s strike on Ukraine, Putin could still comfortably hit any target in Europe or the UK without having to turn to his most powerful weapons.

Targets in London would go up in flames in under 20 minutes while Berlin further east would have less than 15 minutes before impact.

Russian military analysts also warned that the Oreshnik was certainly nuclear-capable, despite being armed with conventional warheads in the strike on Ukraine.

Russia’s ambassador to the UK yesterday declared that Ukraine’s use of Storm Shadow missiles on Russian territory means Britain ‘is now directly involved in this war’.

‘This firing cannot happen without NATO staff, British staff as well,’ Andrei Kelin told Sky News this afternoon – a day after British-made rockets battered a military base in Russia’s Kursk region.

The Kremlin followed with a statement this morning saying that yesterday’s strike was a clear response to the West that Moscow will not tolerate further escalations.

And Vladimir Putin reportedly called a secret meeting with top military brass for this evening after a top British military official insisted the armed forces would be ready to fight tonight if called upon.

The US and UK authorised Kyiv to hit targets on Russian soil with Storm Shadow and ATACMS rockets over the weekend. Ukraine’s forces acted quickly, putting them to use in two different attacks in Russia’s Bryansk and Kursk regions.

‘The main message is that the reckless decisions and actions of Western countries, which produce missiles, supply them to Ukraine and subsequently take part in carrying out strikes on Russian territory, cannot remain without a reaction from the Russian side,’ Peskov said.

‘We are in no doubt that the current administration in Washington has had the chance to familiarise itself with this announcement and understand it.’

But Western leaders have rebuffed the warning.

Sir Keir Starmer’s office said yesterday: ‘If (the suspected ICBM strike) is true, clearly this would be another example of grave, reckless and escalatory behaviour from Russia and only serves to strengthen our resolve.’

Swedish Defence Minister Pal Jonson said Stockholm would not be intimidated by Russia’s provocations.

‘The Russian escalation and provocation that we’ve been noticing recently is an attempt to scare us from supporting Ukraine, and that will fail. This will not happen,’ Jonson told reporters at a joint press conference in Stockholm with his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov.

The Pentagon said the Oreshnik was based on the RS-26 Frontier – another nuclear-capable missile that experts say blurs the lines between IBRM and ICBM.

Missiles are generally classified as ICBMs if they can strike targets at distances greater than 5,500km, or 3,417 miles.

The RS-26 is said to have a maximum range of roughly 5,800km with a single, lightweight warhead, but has mostly been tested with heavier payloads at much shorter ranges.

Development of the RS-26 was launched in 2008 and its first-ever successful test launch unfolded in May of 2012.

Based on its reported capabilities, the Oreshnik is likely a lighter, less powerful variant of an RS-26 missile designed for strikes at ranges between a few hundred and 5,000km.

US defence officials also confirmed yesterday that Moscow had notified Washington ahead of the strike on Ukraine through nuclear risk reduction channels to avoid triggering early launch warning alarms and a possible response.

Security cameras caught the moment several warheads streaked through the night sky and triggered a series of violent explosions in Dnipro yesterday.

The ferocity, speed and coordinated nature of the salvos suggested the explosions were caused by MIRVs (multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicles) released by the Oreshnik.

MIRVs are typically a feature of nuclear ICBMs designed for full-scale attacks on targets thousands of miles away – one missile can carry multiple warheads that break up and can be guided onto separate targets.

Experts said Putin’s use of an advanced hypersonic weapon to deliver a non-nuclear strike on Ukraine was very costly but served to illustrate how Moscow could dramatically escalate the conflict.

Dr Ruth Deyermond, Senior Lecturer in Post-Soviet Security at King’s College London, told MailOnline: ‘This strike has no obvious military value – they could achieve the same objectives without sacrificing (an ICBM or advanced missile).

‘It looks very much as if it’s signalling to the West what Russia could do if it chose to – launch a nuclear-armed missile. But it’s actually a sign of weakness,’ she added.

‘The Russian government knows what would happen to it if they did attempt to use any kind of nuclear weapon, so they have to resort to bluffing.’

Dr Mattias Eken, a defence and security analyst at RAND Europe, added: ‘The reported range of 700km (to Dnipro) falls short of the typical intercontinental range. Nevertheless, such a strike could have a symbolic value.

‘The message that Putin and Russia are trying to send to the West is: we too have missiles that can strike anywhere in the world.

‘Particularly after the US allowed ATACMS/Storm Shadow to target Russia, Putin may have felt compelled to demonstrate Russia’s ability to use long-range missiles as well.’

UK’S STARMER SAYS UKRAINE CAN USE BRITISH MISSILES TO STRIKE INSIDE RUSSIA

Bloomberg Published: 10 July ,2024: 01:49 PM GSTUpdated: 10 July ,2024: 04:38 PM GST

Keir Starmer signaled Ukraine can use Britain’s Storm Shadow missiles to strike military targets inside Russia, confirming he would continue the previous UK government’s policy on the use of its long-range weapons in the Russia-Ukraine war.

Starmer agreed it was up to Ukraine how it used the Storm Shadow missiles donated by the UK, when asked by a Bloomberg reporter. He was speaking to journalists while traveling to the NATO summit in Washington late Tuesday.

The missiles must “obviously to be used in accordance with international humanitarian law as you would expect,” the premier added, stating his position that Storm Shadows were to be used “for defensive purposes.”

“But it is for Ukraine to decide how to deploy it for those defensive purposes,” he said. Storm Shadows are precision-guided cruise missiles with a firing range in excess of 250 kilometers (155 miles).

Ukraine has said it needs to strike military targets inside Russia to defend itself and repel Russian attacks, and it’s one of the main issues that will be discussed at the NATO summit.

Some European countries such as the UK have expressed support for Ukraine’s position, but the US government has so far resisted lifting all restrictions on the use of its weapons by Kyiv. The Biden administration says it has not enabled Ukrainian strikes deep within Russia, considering that a red line in order to prevent escalation with Moscow.

The remarks are the first time Starmer has committed his new administration to the policy following his UK general election victory last week.

They echo the words used by predecessor Rishi Sunak’s government, which never explicitly said Ukraine could use Storm Shadows to strike inside Russia, but indicated that was the case by saying it was up to Kyiv how to deploy them. At the time, the Kremlin called that a “very dangerous statement.”

“Keir Starmer has given President Zelenskyy a shot in the arm,” Jamie Shea, a former NATO official and now associate fellow at Chatham House, told Bloomberg Radio on Wednesday. The Ukrainians “have to be able to strike back against those significant Russian military targets — but obviously not Russian civilian targets. I think Keir Starmer and other NATO leaders will draw a red line on that, the strikes have to be against the genuine military targets.”

Responding to the strike on a hospital in Ukraine by Russia, Starmer said it was an “absolutely shocking, appalling attack” that provided “a very important if tragic backdrop to this summit.” He added: “It’s the duty of everyone to describe it in those terms.”

“My message to President Putin is this: This NATO summit should be seen as a clear and united resolve by NATO allies and others that are there at the same time to stand with Ukraine and stand up to Russian aggression,” Starmer said.

BRITISH PM STARMER URGES NATO ALLIES TO BOOST DEFENSE SPENDING AMID GLOBAL THREATS

Reuters Published: 12 July ,2024: 02:54 AM GSTUpdated: 12 July ,2024: 05:16 AM GST

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called on other NATO allies on Thursday to do more to increase their defence spending, saying it was needed to protect the alliance’s values in “a new and dangerous era”.

In a speech at his first international summit since becoming Britain’s prime minister last week, Starmer repeated that his government would come up with a roadmap to reach 2.5 percent of GDP on defence spending – a target he has yet to set out a timetable for.

He repeatedly avoided answering questions on whether US President Joe Biden was fit enough to run for a new term after he mistakenly referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as Russian President Vladimir Putin before correcting himself. Starmer instead praised Biden’s role in organising what he called a successful NATO summit in Washington.

“This was a successful council, he led it, he deserves credit for that,” Starmer told a news conference.

Starmer sought to focus more on the summit itself, saying 23 members out of the 32 in the alliance were now spending 2 percent of GDP on defence, “but in light of the grave threats to our security, we must go further”.

“We face the generational threat of Russia, aided by the likes of North Korea and Iran. Conflicts rage across the Middle East and North Africa, the challenge of China, terrorism and international institutions, that should be at the heart of the response are being undermined.”

An analysis published in April by the previous Conservative government showed NATO-qualifying British defence spending was expected to be 2.32 percent of GDP in the 2024-2025 financial year.

The speech capped off Starmer’s first foray on the international stage, one where he received a warm welcome from several Western leaders who envy his big majority in parliament.

BRITAIN’S MILITARY ‘IS READY TO FIGHT RUSSIA TONIGHT’: UK ARMY CHIEF’S STARK WARNING AFTER PUTIN DECLARED WE ARE NOW ‘DIRECTLY INVOLVED’ IN UKRAINE WAR

By DAVID AVERRE DAILYMAIL Published: 04:23 EST, 22 November 2024 | Updated: 11:22 EST, 22 November 2024

A top military official has declared the British Army would be ready to fight Vladimir Putin‘s forces ‘tonight’ if Russia were to invade another European nation in addition to Ukraine.

Lt. Gen Sir Rob Magowan, the deputy chief of the British defence staff, told the House of Commons defence committee yesterday afternoon: ‘If the British Army was asked to fight tonight, it would fight tonight.

‘I don’t think anybody in this room should be under any illusion that if the Russians invaded eastern Europe tonight, then we would meet them in that fight.’

His bold statement followed hours after Russia’s ambassador to the UK warned that Ukraine’s use of Storm Shadow missiles on Russian territory means Britain ‘is now directly involved in this war’.

‘This firing cannot happen without NATO staff, British staff as well,’ Andrei Kelin told Sky News this afternoon – a day after British-made rockets battered a military base in Russia’s Kursk region.

However, Magowan’s declaration belies the state of the UK’s military capabilities.

In May, he acknowledged that Britain’s soldiers would run out of ammunition and equipment in a war against Putin’s Russia in less than two months.

Meanwhile, Defence Secretary John Healey is currently embarking on a military cost-cutting mission, having announced the decommissioning of two former Royal Navy flagships, a frigate and a pair of support tankers earlier this week.

Healey, who was appointed Defence Secretary by Sir Keir Starmer following Labour‘s election victory in July, said he was dealing with a ‘dire inheritance from the Tories, the state of the forces often hidden to Parliament, billion-pound black holes in defence plans, taxpayers’ funds being wasted and military morale down to record lows’.

The Government is carrying out a strategic defence review, which will set out the path to spending 2.5 per cent of gross domestic product on defence – although no timetable has yet been set out for that spending commitment.

Magowan’s declaration of Britain’s readiness to engage Putin’s troops comes a day after British and European leaders decried a ‘clear and deeply concerning escalation’ in the Ukraine conflict when Russian forces struck the city of Dnipro with an advanced hypersonic missile yesterday morning.

Ukraine’s air force initially reported Russia had deployed an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), with shocking footage showing how multiple warheads rained down over the plants of state-owned aerospace and defence manufacturer Yuzmash.

But Putin later on Thursday said Russia had launched an ‘Oreshnik’, one of its newest intermediate-range missiles.

He said it travelled at 10 times the speed of sound, rendering Ukrainian air defences powerless to shoot it down.

Russian sources said the range was 5,000km (3,100 miles), allowing Russia to strike most of Europe and the west coast of the United States.

The Pentagon meanwhile said the missile that Russia fired was based on the RS-26 Frontier – a nuclear-capable ICBM – but had been redesigned.

US defence officials also confirmed Moscow had warned Washington ahead of the launch through nuclear risk reduction channels to avoid triggering early launch warning alarms and a possible response.

The shocking strike on Ukraine comes as NATO holds its largest-ever artillery exercise just 70 miles from the Russian border where the British Army is testing what military chiefs have described as a ‘game-changing’ weapon.

Security cameras caught the moment several projectiles streaked through the night sky and triggered a series of violent explosions in Dnipro.

The ferocity, speed and coordinated nature of the salvos suggested the explosions were caused by MIRVs (multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicles).

MIRVs are typically a feature of nuclear ICBMs designed for full-scale attacks on targets thousands of miles away.

Experts said the use of an ICBM or advanced hypersonic weapon to deliver a non-nuclear strike would be very costly, but would serve to illustrate how Moscow could dramatically escalate the conflict.

Dr Mattias Eken, a defence and security analyst at RAND Europe, added: ‘The reported range of 700km falls short of the typical intercontinental range, casting doubt on its classification as a full-fledged ICBM.

‘Nevertheless, such a strike could have a symbolic value,’ he concluded.

‘It seems that the message that Putin and Russia is trying to send to the West is: we too have missiles that can strike anywhere in the world. Particularly after the US allowed ATACMS/Storm Shadow to target Russia, Putin may have felt compelled to demonstrate Russia’s ability to use long-range missiles as well.’

Footage of the strike was released as Russia also threatened to strike US air bases in Poland with ‘advanced weapons’ in an alarming statement yesterday.

Moscow said the opening of a new US ballistic missile defence base in Redzikowo near the Baltic coast will ‘increase the overall level of nuclear danger’, adding it could be considered a future target.

‘(The base) has been added to the list of priority targets for potential destruction which, if necessary, can be executed with a wide range of advanced weapons,’ Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova concluded.

Zakharova’s statement came minutes after Ukraine’s air force first reported the possible ICBM strike, claiming it was fired from a base in Russia‘s southern Astrakhan region on the Caspian Sea.

In a bizarre twist, Zakharova’s press conference was interrupted by a phone call in which the speaker appeared to tell the Foreign Ministry spokeswoman about the ICBM strike before instructing her not to comment on it.

A man’s voice was faintly heard saying: ‘Masha, ballistic missile strikes on Yuzhmash.

The Westerners are talking about it now. Don’t comment at all.’

Yesterday’s strike was carried out after Ukraine used US ATACMS and British Storm Shadow missiles to demolish targets inside Russia following approval by Sir Keir Starmer this week – something Moscow had warned for months would be seen as a major escalation.

Defence Secretary Healey refused to be drawn into confirming reports that Kyiv deployed the British long-range missiles, but said Ukraine faces a ‘serious moment’ in its defence against the Russian invasion.

The Prime Minister meanwhile insisted UK support for Ukraine is ‘always for self-defence’ and compliant with international law, as he accused Putin of wanting ‘destruction not peace’.

Russia’s military had until yesterday deployed smaller, slower Iskander missiles and a handful of hypersonic Kinzhal projectiles alongside hundreds upon hundreds of attack drones to destroy targets in Ukraine.

The advanced missile that struck Dnipro on Thursday morning reportedly launched from the Kapustin Yar range in Astrakhan in Southern Russia – roughly 700km from Dnipro.

Putin’s forces used the region as a launchpad for strikes during the intervention in Syria in 2015.

Ukrainska Pravda cited anonymous sources saying the rocket may have been an RS-26 ‘Frontier’, a solid-fuelled, nuclear-capable rocket that was first successfully tested in 2012.

The Frontier missile weighs roughly 36 tonnes with a maximum range of up to 3,600 miles/5,800km. It flies at such a speed that Ukraine’s rudimentary air defence systems would be powerless to intercept its warheads.

The Pentagon later said that the missile used by Russia was indeed based on the RS-26, but was not a fully fledged ICBM.

The Russian attack targeted enterprises and critical infrastructure in Dnipro as well as other sites across the country, Ukraine’s air force said, at a time of escalating moves in the 33-month-old war.

The Kremlin deployed Tu-95MS strategic bombers to launch cruise missiles and MiG-31K fighters to fire hypersonic Kinzhal rockets in a calculated bid to plunge Ukraine into darkness as a bitter winter approaches.

In Dnipro, regional governor Serhiy Lysak said the missile attack caused damage to an industrial enterprise and set off fires. No casualty figures were available.

Some Russian missiles reportedly struck the towns of Kremenchuk and Myrhorod, while areas in Kyiv, Odesa and Sumy regions suffered blackouts as the electrical grid gave out.

The mass bombardment of Ukraine prompted NATO to scramble F-16 warplanes over neighbouring Poland as ground-based air defence and radar systems were put on the ‘highest state of readiness’ amid the attack.

Ukraine’s air force reported air defences shot down six Kh-101 cruise missiles.

Responding to Zakharova’s statements on the opening of the Redzikowo air defence base, a Polish foreign ministry spokesman pointed out there were no nuclear missiles at the facility and that it is purely defensive in nature.

‘Such threats will certainly serve as an argument to strengthen Poland’s and NATO’s air defences, and should also be considered by the United States,’ added the spokesman, Pawel Wronski.

The facility, opened on November 13, forms part of a broader NATO missile shield called ‘Aegis Ashore’ designed to intercept short- and intermediate-range ballistic weapons.

Aegis Ashore constitutes a network of bases that use radar tracking systems from the US Navy’s Aegis warships to identify and shoot down oncoming missiles with American SM-3 rockets.

There are currently two sites online, one in Romania and one in Poland, reinforced by an early warning system based in Turkey and US Navy ships in Spain.

The wide-ranging attacks by Russia were carried out on Ukraine’s annual Day of Dignity and Freedom, honouring the beginning of its struggle for independence and liberty.

President Zelensky said in an address Thursday: ‘We remember the real price of freedom for Ukraine.

‘And we do not forget all our people of different times who fought for Ukraine and became a model of dignity for the world.

‘Thanks to people, thanks to the desire of our people to preserve freedom and independence for Ukraine, our state will always be on the political map of the world. Always free and sovereign.’

The bombardment came a day after Kyiv launched UK-supplied Storm Shadow missiles at targets in Kursk.

Fragments of the missiles that struck a military facility in the Russian town of Marino were recovered by military bloggers on Wednesday afternoon, with unverified pictures shared widely on social media.

The Mail understands the attacks, which followed Ukraine firing US-supplied ATACMS missiles on Tuesday, were personally approved by Sir Keir Starmer.

Russia officially acknowledged the strikes, saying its air defences shot down two of the projectiles along with six HIMARS rockets and 67 drones.

Russian military bloggers said 18 Russian and North Korean servicemen were killed in that attack with dozens more injured, though the defence ministry has not commented.

Asked to confirm reports Storm Shadow had been used by Ukraine, Defence Secretary John Healey said: ‘I won’t be drawn on the operational details of the conflict.

‘It risks both operational security and in the end the only one that benefits from such a public debate is President Putin.’

NATO DECLARES US BALLISTIC MISSILE DEFENSE BASE IN POLAND MISSION READY

Reuters Published: 11 July ,2024: 12:32 PM GSTUpdated: 11 July ,2024: 12:42 PM GST

A new US air defense base in northern Poland, designed to detect and intercept ballistic missile attacks as part of a broader NATO missile shield, is mission ready, the western military alliance announced on Wednesday.

Speaking on the sidelines of a NATO summit in Washington, the alliance’s chief Jens Stoltenberg said the readiness of the base was an important step for transatlantic security in the face of a growing threat posed by ballistic missiles.

“As a defensive alliance we cannot ignore that threat. Missile defense is an essential element for NATO’s core task of collective defense,” he added, noting ballistic missiles had been widely used in conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East.

The system, dubbed Aegis Ashore, is based at the northern Polish town of Redzikowo and capable of intercepting short- to intermediate-range ballistic missiles, according to NATO.

The allied missile defense shield is meant to protect European citizens, territory and forces against ballistic missile attacks.

Other key elements of the shield include a second Aegis Ashore site in Romania, along with US navy destroyers based in the Spanish port of Rota and an early-warning radar situated in the Turkish town of Kurecik.

NATO says Aegis Ashore is purely defensive.

About 200 military personnel are stationed at the two interceptor sites in Poland and Romania, with the base in the Romanian town of Deveselu operational since 2016.

NEW US BASE IN POLAND RAISES OVERALL NUCLEAR DANGER: RUSSIA

Russia’s Foreign Ministry said on Thursday that a new US ballistic missile defense base in northern Poland will lead to an increase in the overall level of nuclear danger and was on a Russian targeting list for potential destruction if necessary.

The air defense base, situated in the town of Redzikowo near the Baltic coast, part of a broader NATO missile shield, was opened on Nov. 13. “This is another frankly provocative step in a series of deeply destabilizing actions by the Americans and their allies in the North Atlantic Alliance in the strategic sphere,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

“This leads to undermining strategic stability, increasing strategic risks and, as a result, to an increase in the overall level of nuclear danger.” The US base at Redzikowo is part of a broader NATO missile shield, dubbed “Aegis Ashore,” which the alliance says can intercept short- to intermediate-range ballistic missiles.

“Given the nature and level of threats posed by such Western military facilities, the missile defense base in Poland has long been added to the list of priority targets for potential destruction, which, if necessary, can be executed with a wide range of advanced weapons,” Zakharova said.

The NATO missile shield includes sites in Poland, Romania as well as US navy destroyers at a naval base in Spain and an early warning radar in Turkey, according to NATO.

After Russian claims that the base would lead to an increase in the overall level of nuclear danger, a Polish foreign ministry spokesperson said that there are no nuclear missiles at the base and that it is for defense not attack.

“Such threats will certainly serve as an argument to strengthen Poland’s and NATO’s air defenses, and should also be considered by the United States,” added the spokesperson, Pawel Wronski.

RUSSIA THREATENS TO STRIKE POLAND, WARSAW RESPONDS

Story by Mariya Yemets, OLEKSANDR SHUMILIN

Russia’s Foreign Ministry has condemned the opening of a US missile defence base in Poland, labelling it a provocation and threatening a possible strike against the facility. In response, Warsaw dismissed Moscow’s claims as inadequate.

Source: European Pravda, citing Polish news portal RMF 24

Source: Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, described the deployment of a US missile defence base in Poland as a provocation, claiming that it fits into a long-standing practice of placing NATO infrastructure closer to Russia’s borders.

Details: Zakharova claimed that the deployment “raises the overall level of the nuclear threat” and that Russia considers the base a priority target and would be ready to strike it with its available means “if necessary”.

In response, Paweł Wroński, spokesman for the Polish Foreign Ministry, emphasised that the base is purely defensive in nature.

“Its purpose is to intercept ballistic missiles, particularly from countries whose policies rely on constant threats and declarations of potential invasions. If Russia renews its threats, it means that in the future, the US and NATO will have to strengthen air defences along the entire eastern flank to make such threats unrealistic to carry out,” Wroński said.

He added that Russia’s threats are based on incorrect assumptions and claims that the base houses nuclear weapons, “which is absurd”.

Background: The US missile defence base in Redzikowo, located in Poland’s Pomeranian Voivodeship, was officially inaugurated on 13 November. This marks the first permanent facility of the US Army on Polish soil.

POLISH JETS TAKE TO THE SKIES AFTER RUSSIAN MISSILE STRIKE

Story by AZY essa news November 21, 2024

In response to Russia’s missile attack on Ukraine, Polish and allied aircraft have begun operating over Poland, according to the Operational Command of the Armed Forces. It was emphasized that “all available forces and resources” have been deployed.

On Thursday morning, Russia conducted a massive missile attack on Ukraine. Alerts are in effect throughout the country. Missiles hit areas including Dnipro and were also heading towards the Kyiv region.

The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces stated that in response to the attack, “Polish and allied aircraft have begun operating in our airspace.”

Fighter jets scrambled

“In accordance with existing procedures, the Operational Commander of the Armed Forces deployed all available forces and resources at his disposal, scrambled standby fighter pairs, and ground-based air defense and radar detection systems reached the highest state of readiness,” the statement read.

It was noted that these steps aim to ensure safety in the areas bordering the threatened regions. In the past, missiles have entered Polish airspace. The most tragic situation occurred in November 2022, when, as a result of a massive Russian attack, probably one of the Ukrainian air defense missiles fell in Przewodowo, killing two men.

“The Operational Command of the Armed Forces is monitoring the current situation, and the subordinate forces and resources remain in full readiness for an immediate response,” it was emphasized.

Putin warns the West as the UK and France join forces to support Ukraine

In this episode of W News, presented by Nadira Tudor, we cover key global developments shaping the headlines. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy calls for a decisive international response after Russia launched a new ballistic missile attack on Dnipro, while France and the UK pledge to “relentlessly” support Ukraine.

CHINA WARNS NATO AGAINST ‘PROVOKING CONFRONTATION’ OVER RUSSIA TIES

AFP Published: 11 July ,2024: 08:55 AM GSTUpdated: 11 July ,2024: 09:11 AM GST

China on Thursday warned NATO against “provoking confrontation” over its ties with Russia, after the alliance accused it of playing a key role in helping Moscow’s assault on Ukraine.

NATO leaders said in a declaration from their summit in Washington on Wednesday that China had “become a decisive enabler of Russia’s war against Ukraine.”

For all the latest headlines follow our Google News channel online or via the app.

It said Beijing’s “so-called ‘no limits’ partnership” and “large-scale support for Russia’s defense industrial base” were of “profound concern”.

In response, a spokesperson for Beijing’s mission to the European Union said: “NATO should stop hyping up the so-called China threat and provoking confrontation and rivalry, and do more to contribute to world peace and sta-bility.”

“It is known to all that China is not the creator (of) the Ukraine crisis. China’s position on Ukraine is open and aboveboard,” they added.

China has refused to condemn Russia’s invasion and last year released a paper calling for a “political settlement” to the conflict, which Western countries said could enable Russia to retain much of the territory it has seized in Ukraine.

China and Russia’s strategic partnership has grown closer since the invasion.

Beijing presents itself as a neutral party in the war and says it is not sending lethal assistance to either side, unlike the United States and other Western nations.

It has however offered a critical lifeline to Russia’s isolated economy, with trade booming since the conflict began.

Russia’s cooperation with North Korea, Iran and China threatens Europe and the Indo-Pacific region, NATO chief Mark Rutte said on Tuesday.

“Russia working together with North Korea, Iran and China … it threatens peace and security, yes, here in Europe, but also in the Indo-Pacific and in North America,” said the head of the military alliance during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.

MARK OF THE BEAST: INFRARED QR CODE, MICRONEEDLE VACCINATION SMART PATCH MARK

666. THE NUMBER OF THE PRINCE, BEAST, ANTICHRIST, MAHDI, 12TH IMAM

A BIBLICAL BOTTOMLESS PIT OF EVIL: SEVEN SAUDI KINGS AND THE BEAST

FIVE-FOLD SINS RESULTING IN MEN’S ETERNAL DAMNATION:

  1. Worship the beast. (6X). (Rev. 13:4, 13:8, 13:12, 14:9, 14:11)
  2. Worship the beast’s image. (6X). (Rev. 13:14, 13:15, 14:9, 14:11, 16:2, 19:20)
  3. Take the beast’s mark. (6X). (Rev. 13:16, 13:17, 14:9, 14:11, 16:2, 19:20)
  4. Take the beast’s number. (2X). (Rev. 13:17, 13:18)
  5. Take the beast’s name. (2X). (Rev. 13:17, 14:11)

Commentary: There are a total of eighteen (18) verses that indicate the eternal sins of damnation that result from worshipping the beast, worshipping his image and taking his mark of identification. Three (3) denotes God’s emphasis and intensity. Six (6) denotes the evil number of man = 18, or 6+6+6 = 18, or 666 . . . “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is he number of a man; and his number is Six Hundred and threescore and six (666).” (Rev. 13:18). Worshipping the beast, his image and taking his mark are the eternal sins that men commit during the Tribulation.

There are a total of ten (10) combined references of evil men taking the beast’s mark, number or name. These three descriptions are synonymous with being identified with (or belonging) to the beast and his system. Ten (10) denotes God’s allness or physical completeness regarding things on earth. These ten references indicate man’s complete earthly evilness and damnation resulting from taking either the mark, number of name of the beast and his kingdom.

These men are so deceived and evil, that they not only allow themselves to worship the beast and his fake image, but they allow themselves to be physically ‘branded’ or marked in order to be identified with the beast. Evil men obtain this mark, number or name so they can also participate in the global economy in terms of buying and selling. They have to be identified as having this mark, number or name, physically evident on either their right hand or forehead, in order to be allowed to execute a purchasing or selling transaction. Once evil men worship the beast, his image and take his mark (or number, name), they are damned.

There are three verses regarding a very specific, powerful and clear angelic warning given to men on earth, to NOT worship the beast, or his image, or take his mark (name, number). Three (3) denotes God’s emphasis and intensity.

. . . “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” (Rev. 14:9, 14:10, 14:11)

Twice (2) the message is directed at men. The angel repeats himself indicating that the message is for men and what behavior is judged eternally sinful (for ever and ever). Men who worship the beast, his image and take his mark will;

  1. Experience God’s wrath.
  2. God’s wrath will not be diluted, or held back, but given in full strength.
  3. They will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone for torment.
  4. There torment will be forever and ever (eternity).
  5. Their torment will be witnessed by holy angels.
  6. Their torment will take place in the presence of the Lamb.
  7. They will have no rest day or night, forever and ever (eternity).

There are seven (7) specific results that stem from men worshipping the beast, his image and taking his mark (name or number). Seven (7) denotes God’s divinely determined completeness as to his purpose or plan. Eternal punishment in the lake of fire and brimstone, day and night is the strongest wrath that God gives evil men (and Satan, beast/antichrist and false prophet). There is a specific mention that this torment takes place in the presence of the Lamb. These men, while in their torment, will see or consciously be aware of the existence of Jesus Christ. This will provide added pain, anguish and misery since they will be painfully made aware of the choice of their decisions (to worship the beast, his image and take his mark). They were warned not to do what they did.

The Bible gives plenty of examples of the glory that is given to those who did NOT worship the beast, his image or take his mark. Yet, despite the angelic warning . . . despite the 3 ½ year testimony of two witness and prophets . . . despite the witnessing of Tribulation Saints . . . despite the flying angel who proclaimed the gospel of Jesus Christ . . . evil men still chose to worship the beast, his image and to take his mark, name or number.

They chose to ignore the messages, the warnings, and the testimonies. And now, they are in the lake of fire and brimstone, and will have to pay the price for their evil decision(s), for eternity. They see Jesus Christ, and have become painfully aware of what they could have had through Jesus Christ and instead, they chose the false, empty promises of Satan by worshipping the beast, his image and taking his mark, name or number.

Their extreme bitterness and woeful regret will emotionally torment them for eternity, in addition to the physical pain, suffering and torment that they will experience in the lake of fire for eternity. Through their decision to follow Satan, God gave them exactly what they wanted. They did not want anything to do with Jesus Christ, who paid for their sins with his own blood. As such, God gave them over to Satan, since it was their free decision or choice, and what they desired while they were physically alive on earth.

These evil men did everything humanly possible to ignore warnings, to blaspheme God, to ignore the gospel of Jesus Christ, and instead they accepted and believed in lies, worshipped Satan, the beast and his image. Evil men even went so far as to physically defile their bodies (flesh) by taking the branding (mark, number or name) of the beast. All of these actions and behaviors enabled evil men to give themselves totally and wholeheartedly over to Satan through his system of the beast/antichrist and the false prophet.

There are two visions describing what John the Apostle saw, regarding men who were overcomers (them that had gotten victory) by NOT worshipping the beast, his image or taking his mark, number or name.

. . . “And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgements are made manifest.” (Rev. 15:2, 15:3, 15:4).

. . . “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgement was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” (Rev. 20:4).

Men who do NOT worship the beast, his image and take his mark are described as;

  1. They are in heaven (stand on a sea of glass).
  2. They have harps of God.
  3. They sing praises and worship Jesus Christ for their salvation.
  4. They acknowledge that God’s judgements came to pass.
  5. They are given thrones upon which they sit upon.
  6. They are given judgement.
  7. They live and reign with Christ for a thousand years.

There are seven (7) specific results that stem from men NOT worshipping the beast, his image and taking his mark (name or number). Seven (7) denotes God’s divinely determined completeness as to his purpose or plan. These blessings or glories are the complete opposite of what awaits those men who DID worship the beast, his image and took his mark, name, number.

  1. The righteous are in heaven for eternity versus evil men who are in the lake of fire and brimstone for eternity.
  2. The righteous are joyful and play harps versus evil men who are bitter, resentful, angry, tormented, cry and wail in anguish.
  3. The righteous sing the praise of and worship Jesus Christ versus evil men who once praised and worshipped Satan (through the beast, his image and in taking his mark).
  4. Righteous men acknowledge that what God said would come to pass, in fact did come to pass (made manifest) versus evil men who ignored and rejected warnings, the gospel and testimonies of the truth.
  5. The righteous are given thrones in heaven versus evil men who are drowning in torment in the lake of fire.
  6. The righteous are given judgement versus evil men who are judged.
  7. The righteous live and reign with Christ verses evil men who die and fall with Satan.

The avoidance of doing these five (5) eternal sins is one of the most important themes, in the entire book of Revelation. Men must avoid doing these things, literally at all costs. Even to the point of being beheaded or martyred. Men’s eternal destinies depend on it. Worshipping the beast, his image and taking his mark, name or number result in eternal damnation. There is no way of sugar coating or downplaying this reality.

JUDGING OR JUDGEMENT IS DESCRIBED AS;

God is the judge and provides judgements or decisions based on the actions, behaviors and deeds of men and angels.

Judgement is a decision requested to be made on behalf of someone (Tribulation Saints) who were wrongfully hurt (beheaded).

Someone (nations) are caught bloody red handed and are angry knowing that they will be judged for their actions, behavior and evil deeds. They are angry because they didn’t get away with it and were caught. They know they are going to have pay a price which they can’t afford.

Judgement is a request that someone be righted a wrong done to them.

Judgement is a request for a reward promised based on a stated outcome.

Judgement is based on timing. An evil act is done, its results are noted and accounted for. Time comes for the evil act to be judged and the resulting judgement exercised or made manifest.

Judgement, or the decision of what should be done has to be acted upon or made to occur (sent to prison). This is known as making a judgement manifest or physically exercised. This is the doing of what should be done.

Witnesses in the public gallery indicate that God’s judgements are “true and righteous.” This means that the public gallery can attest to the fact that God did take everything into account, all the details, actions, deeds, events, behaviors, statements, intents and came to the correct and truthful conclusion regarding the matter. Nothing was left out. Everything was taken into consideration as evidence, properly evaluated and applied against the benchmark, standard and/or law that was being applied. God’s administration of justice and his resulting judgements are found to be accurate, spot on, truthful, correct, no question about it. In Biblical words, “true and righteous.”

God is described as judging the “great whore” a.k.a. Babylon City (the great worldly capital of the beast’s/antichrist’s kingdom).

God is strong, meaning he can’t be swayed or weak in the sense that he lets some evil slide a bit in terms of not being judged or of receiving judgement. He is firm in his judgements and not weak-kneed. He does not fold under public pressure. He can’t be influenced, bribed, manipulated or pushed by a particular special interest group, lobby or entrenched political ideology or group. He is strong, firm, steadfast, unwavering in the application of his administration of justice.

The wrath of his resulting judgements is not watered down or filtered out or held back. He gives the criminal, evil-person no slack and gives them the fullest extent of prison term possible (eternity). They are not sent to a plush prison serving three square meals a day with a basketball court, but to a lake of fire and brimstone. God does not ‘molly-coddle’ the evil, he gives them exactly what they deserve. He does not withhold his judgements, he pours out his wrath in full strength (at just the right time).

God’s judgement comes very swiftly, within “one hour.” There is no long drawn out period of rebuttals, challenges, reviews, counter-suits, passing on to a higher court, etc. A decision is made and done. The action of the decision is made manifest, very quickly. There is no delay in the manifestation of the decision. Babylon City is destroyed within one hour, split into three parts by a very great earthquake, consumed by fire and hammered by 100lb. hailstones (weight of a talent). Period.

There is no punishment meted out in stages, over a long period of time. There is no slap on the wrist that comes with an admonition to don’t do it again. The celestial sledgehammer is dropped quickly and decisively, no force is held back.

God’s judgement includes not only the living but also the dead. Jesus Christ opens his book of life, to see if a dead man’s name is in it. The book of life is not unlike an accounting ledger that records all the debits and credits amassed over a period of time. These debits and credits are referred to as “according to their works.” If a man’s name is found in his book of life, Jesus acknowledges as much to the Father and “confesses the man’s name even to the angels.” Through Jesus Christ and his book of life, God is able to righteously judge dead men. Jesus’ book of life accounts for everyone, past, present and future.

Numbers within numbers, meanings within meanings. Twelve (12) descriptions of judging or judgement and twelve (12) references or verses from throughout the book of Revelation. Judging / Judgement. (Def.); to form a conclusion about a subject or outcome, to decide as in a case of court, to give a verdict about someone or something in court as truthful, applying the administration of justice and truthfulness. Only God and Jesus Christ are the judges. Period.

Only God and Jesus Christ do the judging. Period. Only God and Jesus Christ reward, withhold or punish. Period. Only God and Jesus Christ are judge, jury, and jailer. God has his wrath. Jesus Christ has the keys to heaven and hell. Having judgement and exercising judgement is derived from authority and rule. One can only be a judge if they have the authority to judge and the right to judge. One has to be competent to judge, to be able to discern right from wrong, truth from lies, good from evil, just from unjust, righteousness from unrighteousness, clarity from deception, godly from ungodliness, saved from unsaved.

To be able to judge, one has to know all the facts, all the outcomes, all the intents, all the behaviors and apply these against a benchmark, a standard, a law that determines whether the data observed meet the benchmark, standard or law. Since God is omnipotent and knows everything occurring past, present and future, he is supremely just in knowing everything to take into account in performing judgement. He is the only one capable of exercising correct, truthful and righteous judgement because he can and does take everything into consideration when exercising his administration of justice.

Jesus Christ is the benchmark, the standard and/or the law. Jesus Christ paid our court fees, he paid the bail, and also paid a very expensive price so we wouldn’t have to go to jail, to the dungeon, to the hangman or to the lake of fire. God’s law of righteousness and truthfulness is;

Admit/Acknowledge/Accept that you are sinner. Ask God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins.

. . .For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

. . .As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. (Romans 3:10)

. . .If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (1 John 1:8)

Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that Jesus Christ is who He claimed to be; that He was both fully God and fully man and that we are saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. Put your trust in Him as your only hope of salvation. Become a son or daughter of God by receiving Christ.

. . .That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:15-17). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

Call upon His name, Confess with your heart and with your lips that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

. . .That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9-10)

This is the benchmark, standard and/or law by which God judges men. If Jesus Christ finds a man who meets this benchmark, standard and/or law, he acknowledges and confesses the man’s name before God as belonging to him and having meet the requirements. Jesus Christ acts as our lawyer, on our behalf, in the administration of God’s justice. Jesus saves us in God’s court of law and in the administration of God’s justice.

THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT

GREAT WHITE THRONE AND ETERNAL JUDGEMENT

But the fearful, and UNBELIEVING, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in THE LAKE WHICH BURNETH WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE: WHICH IS THE SECOND DEATH.

POPE FRANCIS’ MYSTERY RELIGION BABYLON: ONE-WORLD RELIGION

SEVEN-FOLD REFERENCE TO LAKE OF FIRE JUDGEMENT:

  1. “He that hath an ear, let hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of THE SECOND DEATH (LAKE OF FIRE).” (Rev. 2:11).
  2. “The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he SHALL BE TORMENTED WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosover receiveth the mark of his name.” (Rev. 14:10-11).
  3. “And THE BEAST was taken, and with him THE FALSE PROPHET that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These BOTH WERE CAST ALIVE INTO A LAKE OF FIRE BURNING WITH BRIMSTONE.” (Rev. 19:20).
  4. “And the devil that deceived them was cast into THE LAKE OF FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, WHERE THE BEAST AND THE FALSE PROPHET ARE, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (Rev. 20:10).
  5. “And death and hell were cast into THE LAKE OF FIRE. THIS IS THE SECOND DEATH.” (Rev. 20:14).
  6. “And whosover was not found written in the book of life WAS CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.” (Rev. 20:15).
  7. “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part IN THE LAKE WHICH BURNETH WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE: WHICH IS THE SECOND DEATH.” (Rev. 21:8).

The lake of fire is also known as the ‘second death’. This is the final place of burning, everlasting torment for Satan, the antichrist, the false prophet and those un-saved, un-believing souls from throughout the ages found NOT to be in the book of life, at the white throne judgement, at the end of the Millennium. The lake of fire and second death are also reserved for those deceived during the Tribulation who took the mark of the beast and worshipped him and his image.

The evil dead are resurrected to be judged by Christ for their evil works and for their rejection of Him who offered himself for their salvation and forgiveness of their sins. As a result of their sins and judgment, they are cast into the lake of fire that represents a second death (the first death being physical body death and souls/spirits being in Hell). The evil dead are resurrected into bodies and cast into the lake of fire to be severely tormented, having no rest day or night, and are absent from a loving God and their Savior who offered himself for them.

THE GREAT IRONY IS THAT THESE PEOPLE RECEIVED EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANTED. THEY REFUSED CHRIST AND WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM, THEY WANTED TO EXIST IN ETERNITY WITHOUT COMMUNION WITH GOD AND CHRIST, ON THEIR OWN TERMS. THEY LITERALLY RECEIVED WHAT THEY ASKED FOR. THE STENCH OF THEIR PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL TORMENT RISES UP IN SMOKE, FOR ETERNITY.

God made both man and angels as eternal beings, hence they will exist forever in one state or another. Which state will any of us choose to exist in? The choice is up to us, and God grants us the freedom to make that choice for ourselves. For better or worse, we have no one to blame (certainly not God) except ourselves for whatever choices we make on earth.

MOST PEOPLE DON’T REALISE THIS UNTILL IT’S TOO LATE: STANDING AT THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST
