Almost two thousand years ago, Peter prophesied about the last days. He said just before Jesus returns, people will openly mock the Second Coming. They’ll say, “What happened to Jesus? I thought He was coming back? Yet everything remains the same as it has since the world first began” (2 Peter 3:3-4).
I’ll bet you’ve heard this argument many times. But is it true? Is the world of today “the same as it’s always been”? Absolutely not. In fact, it’s absurd to say it is.
Why? Because the truth is the exact opposite. Our generation is unlike any before it. Not only can we point to clear signs of His Return, but almost every sign the Bible says to look for is present right now. Some signs are completely fulfilled (such as the re-establishment of Israel as a nation state).
Others seem to be in an early stage of fulfillment (such as the emergence of a revived Roman Empire in the form of the European Union). Regardless of the stage of fulfillment, some form of almost every end times sign is converging in our time. Nevertheless, most people remain ignorant of these signs. And that’s a shame.
REMEMBER, JESUS REBUKED THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS OF HIS TIME FOR THEIR FAILURE TO RECOGNIZE HIS COMING. HE SAID THEY KNEW HOW TO INTERPRET THE WEATHER SIGNS IN THE SKY, BUT THEY DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO RECOGNIZE THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES:
“He replied, ‘You know the saying, ‘Red sky at night means fair weather tomorrow; red sky in the morning means foul weather all day.’ You know how to interpret the weather signs in the sky, but you don’t know how to interpret the signs of the times!'” Matthew 16:2-3 (NLT)
Jesus expected the religious leaders of His day to recognize the signs of the coming Messiah. IN THE SAME WAY, JESUS EXPECTS US TO RECOGNIZE THE SIGNS OF HIS SECOND COMING.
THE RISE OF A REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE
The Bible repeatedly states a revived version of the Roman Empire will ascend to power in the end times (Daniel 2, Daniel 7, Revelation 17). This will be the final world empire before Jesus returns. According to Daniel, it will be a ten nation alliance made up of weak and strong nations. Some parts will be as strong as iron, while other parts will be as weak as clay. Do we see this empire today? No. Not yet. Do we see an alliance of strong and weak nations in the area of the old Roman Empire. Absolutely!
It’s called the European Union, and its entire purpose is to collectively strengthen the member nations through alliance – just as the statue’s iron and clay feet and toes would attempt to strengthen themselves through “intermarriage” (Daniel 2:43).
As of this writing, the European Union contains the world’s 3rd and 7th largest economies (Germany and France) – but it also contains the world’s 100th, 106th, and 118th largest economies (Estonia, Iceland, and Malta). Individually, no EU nation is a world power. Together, the combined nations of the EU are the world’s leading economic power. And this is precisely the type of arrangement the Bible says will exist in the time just prior to Christ’s return.
THE CONVERGING SIGNS
All the signs mentioned here – the re-establishment of Israel, the Jewish back in Jerusalem, the dramatic increase in travel and knowledge, and many more – point to the nearness of His return. Not a single one of these signs existed for almost the entire history of Christianity – and now they all do! Think that matters? I do.
When the disciples approached Jesus and asked Him, “What are the signs of your coming and the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:3). Jesus replied by giving them a list of signs and events to look for – signs such false prophets, earthquakes, wars, and desecration of the Temple. But Jesus said one sign in particular is cause to “look up” because your redemption draws near. Our generation is witness to that sign. So what is it?
Convergence.
That’s right. The most significant sign of all is not a single sign, but the convergence of all the signs Jesus, Moses, and the Old Testament prophets said to look for. Jesus said, “When you see all these things occur, look up. For your salvation is near!” (Luke 21:28). Note that Jesus didn’t say, “When you see these things, I might come back in a couple hundred years.” No. He said, when you see all these signs, I’m “right at the door” (Mark 13:29).
The convergence of so many specific and detailed events – events Jesus told us to look for – should command the attention of even the most hardened skeptics. Why? Because for more than 1,800 years following the crucifixion, these signs were noticeably absent. But today? Today, we see them all around us. For the first time ever, each of these signs is present – and all at the same time. Think that’s a coincidence? I don’t. It’s not a coincidence. And time will prove it’s not. Jesus is coming. Now is the season of His return.

NAVY ADMIRAL TO TESTIFY TO CONGRESS ABOUT UFOS TAILING US NUCLEAR SUBS

A retired rear admiral, who served as the Navy’s head oceanographer, will testify to Congress about the risks of UFOs that appear to traverse Earth’s seas with impunity. Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet (Pictured) (ret.) has attested publicly in the past to ‘an interesting correlation […] where we see so many potential interactions of UAP [i.e. UFOs] and nuclear ships’ — but has never before discussed the issue under oath.
And increasingly, Rear Adm. Gallaudet has also given voice to growing concern among military officials that these strange apparent craft possess ‘capabilities […] beyond our current understanding of science, technology as well as engineering. We need to research these more, get a better understanding of them,’ as he put it this week, ‘both for the national security implications, as well as just the science.’

But despite Rear Adm. Gallaudet’s openness on the once-fringe topic of UFOs, the substance of what he plans to reveal on Wednesday before the House Oversight committee’s latest public UAP hearing remains a mystery. The naval oceanographer did, however, reveal two startling UFO encounters on Monday, as reported to him by Navy personnel ahead of his testimony. One submariner told Rear Adm. Gallaudet of an encounter a US sub had with a bizarre underwater object in the 1980s, which stopped on a dime while speeding deep under the Atlantic Ocean.
‘It had all the signatures of a Russian torpedo,’ Rear Adm. Gallaudet said, ‘because it approached a rapid rate. But then it slowed down, which torpedoes don’t do.’ Rear Adm. Gallaudet explained that this US Navy submarine — which was traveling ‘at a deeper depth during a very significant North Atlantic storm’ — had conducted evasive maneuvers to escape what its crew thought, at first, was a Russian torpedo. ‘Because of its rapid rate of approach, they went to “crush depth.” That was their SOP, standard operating procedure,’ the retired rear admiral told NewsNation.
Sometimes known as ‘collapse depth,’ the term ‘crush depth’ is used to indicate a level of deep ocean where the density and pressure of water is a threat to the structural integrity of a particular submarine’s design. But, the dense water at ‘crush depth’ can also help a sub evade torpedoes following it, by helping to confuse the weapon’s on-board sonar, used for ‘acoustic homing.’ The sound waves emitted as sonar ‘pings,’ in other words, can be slowed, dissipated or otherwise disrupted when passing through dense water at these depths.
‘It was an old sub, too,’ Rear Adm. Gallaudet said of the risky defensive gambit, which could have imploded the undersea vessel, killing its crew. ‘So, they were not happy doing that and not comfortable. They really believed it was a Soviet sub,’ he told NewsNation correspondent and veteran investigative reporter Ross Coulthart, ‘launching an attack on them. And then, of course, this object, it stopped, and it went around to their stern and followed them,’ he continued. ‘Then it rapidly accelerated out of the scene. Back in the ’80s, we know of no technology that could have done that. What was that?’ as the rear admiral put it rhetorically to Coulthart. ‘I can’t explain it either.’
In his appearance on Coulthart’s NewsNation program, Rear Adm. Gallaudet also discussed ‘an extraordinary story from a chief petty officer on the USS Eisenhower’ in which an entire carrier strike group of multiple ships witnessed a gigantic UFO. ‘On an earlier deployment about 20 years ago, the senior leadership, this chief petty officer, all witnessed a UAP in the middle of the strike group,’ he said. The retired rear admiral, who also spent three years as a deputy administrator to the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), also noted that he has begun ‘a correspondence with Robert Hastings.’
Hastings, author of a doorstop book on the subject, titled ‘UFOs and Nukes,’ has helped bring public many US military witnesses to the similar UFO events in the past. But, Rear Adm. Gallaudet noted that several of the most persuasive witness accounts, that he has heard about, are tied up with the classified sensitivities of America’s nuclear submarine fleet. ‘I’ve heard there’s others,’ he said, ‘but submarine information and operations are so highly classified, with nondisclosure agreements signed by everybody on the force that they’re hard to come out and find.’

20. THE BEAST’S MARK, NAME AND NUMBER ‘666’

The infamous, “Mark of the Beast” and “number of his name is 666” imagery is no different than any of the other generalized, descriptive terms that John the Apostle used, while in his banishment on the Isle of Patmos. Rev. 13:17-18 is probably the most symbolic, well known and most poorly understood two verses in the book of Revelation, and in the entire Bible. “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred, threescore and six (666).”
(6) The Number of an Evil Man:
Verse 13:18 clearly states that 666 (6) is a number of a man … not a number of an angel, not a number of Satan (which is ‘5’), Devil, serpent or dragon, nor of any kind of reference to Babylon (city) or Mystery Babylon (false religion).
The reference is literally to man (mankind), the beast/antichrist (a literal, physical man) and the false prophet (a literal, physical man). Each of them is judged to be extremely evil and each is therefore assigned a number of six (6) to represent the imperfection, sinfulness and evilness of man, before God. Combining the number of each type of man leads to 666, this (6) number represents the totality of evil, of the three men. ‘7’ The number three (3) denotes intensity and emphasis.
The fact that the number six (6) is repeated three (3) times emphasizes the most intense evil that mankind, antichrist, and the false prophet (6) collectively possess during the tribulation period. Evil doesn’t come any worse, or more intensely than this. Period. When the bible states an important reference to someone or something, the word ‘7’ of God is very specific and literal. There should be no confusion. To understand why the number six (6) represents evil, Verse 13:18 (6) tells us to “count” his number.

RIYADH: Military products and the achievements of both government bodies and national companies are highlighted at the SAUDI PAVILION AT THIS YEAR’S CHINA INTERNATIONAL AVIATION AND AEROSPACE EXHIBITION.
AIRSHOW CHINA 2024, ONE OF THE WORLD’S LARGEST AVIATION EXPOS, STARTED IN ZHUHAI ON TUESDAY AND WILL RUN UNTIL NOV. 17.
The Saudi pavilion features military products, particularly in aviation, and turns the spotlight on national companies that work in military industries. It also UNDERSCORES EFFORTS TO BOOST NATIONAL MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES AND THE AIM OF LOCALIZING OVER 50 PERCENT OF GOVERNMENT SPENDING ON MILITARY EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES BY 2030.
Launching events at the pavilion was the governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, Ahmad Al-Ohali, who was joined by Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Fayyad Al-Ruwaili and the Saudi ambassador to China, Abdulrahman Al-Harbi. Other officials, INTERNATIONAL INVESTORS AND AVIATION AND AEROSPACE DECISION-MAKERS WERE ALSO PRESENT.
Al-Ohali said: “THIS STRATEGIC PARTICIPATION, OCCURRING FOR THE FIRST TIME IN CHINA, AIMS TO ENHANCE THE KINGDOM’S GLOBAL PRESENCE IN THE MILITARY INDUSTRIES SECTOR AND TO SOLIDIFY ITS POSITION AS ONE OF THE FASTEST-GROWING ECONOMIES AMONG THE G20 NATIONS.

The display area will feature various government entities and national companies specializing in the military industry sector, offering a valuable opportunity to explore the latest advancements in technologies and equipment within the field.
THE KINGDOM’S DEFENSE SECTOR IS PROJECTED TO MAKE A SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION TO THE NATIONAL ECONOMY BY 2030, with an expected gross domestic product contribution of $17 billion and a direct addition of $9 billion to non-oil revenues. GAMI’s role is to contribute to the interaction and cooperation between local and international stakeholders in order to promote the added-value of Saudi military industries.
RIYADH: The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), during its participation in Riyadh’s 6th International Conference on Electronic Warfare and Radar, said that it had identified 21 MILITARY TECHNOLOGIES TO BE DEVELOPED BY THE SECTOR OVER THE NEXT SEVEN YEARS.
“GAMI’s role is to contribute to the interaction and cooperation between local and international stakeholders IN ORDER TO PROMOTE THE ADDED-VALUE OF SAUDI MILITARY INDUSTRIES,” said Abdullah bin Abdulrahman bin Zaraah, director of industry development at GAMI, during a panel discussion.
“The main stakeholders in the Kingdom are divided into THREE GROUPS: THE MILITARY, LOCAL MANUFACTURERS AND THE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CENTERS. They are all working to update their operations and activities in order to keep up with the sector’s new strategy, which will be announced by GAMI soon,” he added, noting: “The authority is continuing to develop the sector’s tight legislative framework, which includes the relation between all stakeholders, provides cooperation opportunities and encourages investments.”
“The new strategy identified 21 MILITARY TECHNOLOGIES DIVIDED INTO SEVEN CATEGORIES: ELECTRO-OPTICS, DIRECTED ENERGY, RADAR, RADIO, CYBERSECURITY TECHNOLOGIES, ELECTROMAGNETIC WEAPONS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.”
“GAMI is facing the challenge of building a young sector, which requires significant investments and support. It will rely on its competencies and PARTNERSHIPS WITH OTHER COUNTRIES AND INTERNATIONAL MANUFACTURING COMPANIES TO ESTABLISH THE RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE LOCAL MILITARY INDUSTRIES,” Al-Zaraa pointed out.
“The long-term planning of the Kingdom’s military needs is essential to building local capabilities. Empowering local manufacturers and promoting their competitiveness will be vital to the sector’s advancement,” he stressed, commending the efforts exerted by the sector’s stakeholders TO ESTABLISH A SYSTEM THAT ENABLES MILITARY BODIES TO DEVELOP FIVE-YEAR PLANS IDENTIFYING THEIR NEEDS.
