This is the biggest challenge facing the UN right now. The institution is a product of Western political culture and that’s its problem.

The annual United Nations General Assembly – which brings together world leaders and top officials – has opened in New York. This time, the General Debate is preceded by the Future Summit, an initiative of the UN Secretary-General António Guterres. Next year, the global body will be 80 years old. And its governing institutions wish to formulate a set of proposals on how it should work to meet a changing world.

No one has exaggerated expectations. The UN is not a world government with the power to make decisions and enforce them. It is rather a barometer of the state of international relations. Which means it functions normally when world affairs are relatively organized. In other words, when there is an effective hierarchy. At present there is no such thing. Moreover, the prevailing mood in the community can be described as non-aggressively rebellious. However, while there’s no desire for a ‘world revolution’ (except from extremist fringe people who are easily shouted down), there’s a growing rejection of the idea of following orders. 

In this context, the documents to be adopted – the Compact for the Future, the accompanying Global Digital Compact and the Declaration on Future Generations – are clearly only frameworks. And they may not even be agreed: participants in the process are these days particularly sensitive to wording, and hyper-sensitive to perceived attempts to pull the rug out from under some countries, or groups of them. The ability or inability to agree on texts will be an indicator of the state of play but will have little impact on it. In any case, the question of the future of international institutions will remain on the agenda as a reminder of the transformation of the global system.

The concerns of the organization’s leadership are understandable. The UN in its present form is a throwback to a bygone era. And it is not just that the composition of the Security Council reflects the results of a war that ended in the first half of the last century. The question is whether the global system, whose governing mechanisms are institutions formed by the agreement of the leading players, is still intact.

First of all, who are these leading players now? For starters, the inability of the current ‘five’ to agree on enlargement is cited as an obstacle to Security Council reform. Not without reason, but it is reasonable to ask another question: are the candidates for the coveted seats able to agree on which of them will join the prestigious body? It doesn’t look like it, because there may be many criteria (regional, economic, demographic, historical, cultural and religious, etc.), and for each of them there are preferences that often don’t coincide. 

Secondly, what powers should the reformed institutions have? Traditionally, they point to the primacy of international law, since the UN is the guardian of the norms laid down in its Charter. But let’s look at it in practice: all law is a derivative of the balance of power, or rather the ability to influence legal interpretations. The UN Charter already leaves a lot of room for interpretation – just think of the rather tricky wording about territorial integrity and the right to self-determination. And in today’s highly competitive environment, any ambiguities and divergent interpretations are fraught with direct conflict, resolved not by law but by force.

There is another aspect. Current international law is a product of Western political culture and thought. This is neither good nor bad, just a historical fact. In this case, we are not talking about the so-called “rules-based order” that has become an instrument of American hegemony, but about legal norms that are recognized by all. In a world dominated by Western (first European, then transatlantic) conceptual approaches, they naturally also determined the legal sphere. But the changes that are now taking place are eroding this monopoly. It’s a natural process (as circumstances change) and not the result of anyone’s deliberate actions.

The continuation of this process irreversibly means the cultural and political diversification of the world. This is also true of legal cultures, which are all different and at least bear the imprint of their own traditions. And international norms in a heterogeneous world should, in theory, not be guided by a single approach, but should harmonize different ones.

The multipolar world (the term is imperfect and does not explain much, but we will use it because it is commonly used) is an environment that is as unfavorable as possible for regulation. However, this does not mean that we should give up on the UN. The complexity of the world doesn’t negate its interconnectedness. And this very interconnectedness affects the nature of competition and makes agreements binding, at least on those issues where there is no escape. And there are many.

Perhaps the starting point for a future reform of the UN, which will one day take place, should be the recognition that the most important question is not ‘who are the chiefs here’ (rows over the composition of the Security Council, etc), but how to build interactions between the many Indians (to borrow a metaphor), who are not part of the historic five. They don’t want to obey orders, but they are playing an increasingly prominent role on the world stage and are formulating their own demands. The nature of these demands, in fact, are exactly the very global problems that the UN exists to solve.

“CALL TO ACTION ON GLOBAL GOVERNANCE REFORM”

G20 holds meeting at the UN for the first time in the forum’s history. The forum’s second meeting of Foreign Ministers will take place on September 25th, at the United Nations ECOSOC in New York. It is the first time in history that a G20 meeting takes place at the UN, open to the participation of the 193 Member States.

The meeting will be open to the Organization’s 193 member states and will focus on DEBATES ON THE REFORM OF GLOBAL GOVERNANCE, ONE OF THE PRIORITIES OF BRASIL’S G20 PRESIDENCY. The country leads the DISCUSSIONS ON THE ADOPTION OF A “CALL TO ACTION ON GLOBAL GOVERNANCE REFORM,” COMMITTING TO STRENGTHENING THE MULTILATERAL SYSTEM AND REFORMING AND MODERNIZING THE MAIN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS.

In addition, the G20 representatives will discuss global measures to tackle hunger and poverty and PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND A JUST ENERGY TRANSITION, an agenda summarized in the motto “BUILDING A JUST WORLD AND A SUSTAINABLE PLANET,” FOCUSING ON ADVANCING THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS).

At a historic meeting at the UN, G20 member countries adopted a FULLY CONSENSUAL DOCUMENT WITH MEASURES TO REFORM THE GLOBAL GOVERNANCE, one of the priorities of Brasil’s forum presidency. In the document, the countries commit to changes in the UN Security Council, the World Trade Organization, the quotas of the International Monetary Fund, and to support discussions on taxing billionaires.

The Opening Session of the G20 Ministerial Meeting – United Nations Headquarters, Social Economic Council Room – New York

G20 MEMBER COUNTRIES ADOPTED THE “CALL TO ACTION ON GLOBAL GOVERNANCE REFORM” ON SEPTEMBER 25TH, IN AN UNPRECEDENTED MEETING AT THE UNITED NATIONS FORUM. The document reached full consensus among the world’s largest economies and addresses COMMITMENTS TO THE REFORM AND MODERNIZATION OF THE LEADING INTERNATIONAL BODIES, SUCH AS THE UN and the WTO (World Trade Organization), the revision of loan quotas at the IMF (International Monetary Fund), with an endorsement of the deepening of the debate on the external debt of developing countries and mechanisms for taxing large fortunes. 

The group argues that these institutions were created in the 1940s to respond to the contextual challenges of the time, requiring updated governance practices and structures to expand the representation and diversity of their members and find solutions to the political, economic and social challenges of the current conjuncture. At the initiative of Brasil’s G20 presidency, THE PROPOSAL IS INTENDED TO PROMOTE INCLUSIVE ORGANIZATIONS and increase the participation of women and Global South countries in these spaces. 

“We work together because multilateral institutions are being discredited. We need the courage to change our commitment to overcoming differences in order to break this vicious cycle. Our responsiveness is hampered, in particular, by the lack of representation in international organizations. The Global South needs to be fully represented in the main decision-making forums,” argued Brasil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva during the opening of the G20 meeting.

MORE INCLUSIVE AND FAIR GLOBAL GOVERNANCE

The group agrees that the proximity of the institution’s 80th anniversary, which will be celebrated in 2025, reinforces the moment TO REINVIGORATE THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, STRENGTHENING ITS SPACE AS THE UN’S “MAIN DELIBERATIVE, POLICY-MAKING AND REPRESENTATIVE BODY,” ALSO ACTING IN DIALOGUE WITH THE SECURITY COUNCIL FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF INTERNATIONAL PEACE AND SECURITY. In addition, the group is committed to promoting the effectiveness and efficiency of this space and the agreements made there, as well as increasing the nomination of women to the Assembly presidency. 

The G20 countries also commit to increasing representation in the UN Security Council and improving the distribution of responsibility among its members in order to make decisions more transparent. In addition, they endorse expanding the Council’s composition to include nations from Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Caribbean, which are still underrepresented in this space. 

The document also indicates COMMITMENTS TO STRENGTHEN THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL COUNCIL, THE PEACEBUILDING COMMISSION, AND THE UNITED NATIONS SECRETARIAT BY STRENGTHENING THEIR STRATEGIC ENGAGEMENT IN INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC COOPERATION FORUMS, SUCH AS THE G20 AND G7; universities and the scientific community; the mobilization of political and financial SUPPORT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PEACE AGREEMENTS; among others.

TOWARDS A DIFFERENT INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL ARCHITECTURE

Regarding the reform of the International Financial Architecture, the actions aim to mobilize financing possibilities to address global challenges such as tackling hunger, poverty, and climate change, especially in developing countries and emerging economies. 

Countries agree to promote improvements so that THE SYSTEM CAN ACCELERATE COMPLIANCE WITH THE UN 2030 AGENDA through the actions of Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs); the revision of the quota formula of the IMF (International Monetary Fund); and deepening the international dialogue on fair taxation and taxing billionaires. 

Another point highlighted in the G20 Leaders’ Call is to collectively mobilize more fiscal space and concessional financing to increase the World Bank’s capacity to support low- and middle-income countries that need help facing global challenges. 

In addition, the G20 member countries have also joined a series of measures to reform the WTO (World Trade Organization) by promoting fairer and more inclusive international rules to improve its functions. The objective is to strengthen the organization’s mandate as a promoter of development.

TASK FORCE FOR THE GLOBAL MOBILIZATION AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE

The Task Force for the Global Mobilization Against Climate Change will promote a high-level dialogue among governments, financial institutions, and international organisms to enhance global macroeconomic and financial alignment to IMPLEMENT THE GOALS OF THE UNITED NATIONS FRAMEWORK CONVENTION ON CLIMATE CHANGE AND THE PARIS AGREEMENT.

About the Task Force

The Brazilian presidency of the G20 is creating the task force that will have its inaugural meetings throughout 2024. The goal is to consolidate the outcomes of the other working groups and to articulate coordinated responses of the G20 Sherpa Track and Financial Track related to the challenges of climate change. It will also convey the commitment of the member-states to restore trust in the international capacity to respond to the climate emergency. 

The task force will organize debates to facilitate the exchange of experiences and the identification of converging elements for the formulation and implementation of comprehensive plans targeting economic and sustainable transformation. 

The task force will also organize a panel with notable economists who will examine the national platforms and the existing public policy frameworks for ecological transformation and present a report with recommendations on this issue.

Finally, the Task Force will promote an ample debate about the alignment of the financial sector to the long-term goals of the Paris Agreement, with the participation of governments, financial regulators, commercial and development banks, international financial institutions, institutional investors, and other financial actors. The objective is to outline collaborative strategies based on the previous work of the groups of the financial track, including regulatory approaches and voluntary commitments to accellerate the mobilization of resources for sustainable development and for combating climate change.

WILDFIRES AND CLIMATE CRISIS: THE 2023/2024 DROUGHT IS THE MOST SEVERE IN RECENT HISTORY, RECORDS SHOW

The impact of wildfires and the global climate debate are urgent topics at the center of the G20 debate. In recent months, wildfires in Brasil have increased, mainly aggravated by human action. The problems that accelerate climate change will be discussed until Thursday, 03rd of October, in Rio de Janeiro, at the technical and ministerial meetings of the G20 Environment and Climate Sustainability Working Group.

The wildfires have become a critical environmental issue, with severe impacts on the environment, economy, and public health. In recent years, the intensification of wildfires has generated global concern, given that the Amazon Rainforest is one of the world’s most biodiverse biomes and is essential for regulating the global climate. 

From an environmental point of view, the damage is enormous. The destruction of biomes such as the Amazon results in biodiversity loss and compromises ecosystem services such as air purification and water cycle regulation. The Amazon rainforest, known as the “lung of the world,” plays a vital role in absorbing carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the main greenhouse gases. The destruction of these forests aggravates global warming.

From an economic point of view, the damages include issues such as loss of forest resources, damage to local and regional agriculture, and high costs of firefighting efforts. There are also public health implications, such as respiratory diseases caused by smoke inhalation, overloading local health systems.

From January 1st to September 22nd, 2024, about 11 million hectares were burned in the Amazon, which represents 2.8% of the biome. Faced with the severity of forest fires in Brasil, the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (Ibama) and the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio) have mobilized 3,500 professionals to work in the Amazon, Cerrado, and Pantanal biomes. The operation is supported by 15 planes, 14 helicopters, and many vehicles and vessels to fight the flames.

The brigades of Ibama’s National Center for Prevention and Combat of Forest Fires (Prevfogo) carry out preventive actions, advise on controlled fires, and promote educational activities in local communities and schools. Prevfogo experts point out that the origin of the wildfires is criminal. Ibama, in partnership with the state civil police, is in charge of the investigations to identify and prosecute those responsible. The Federal Police has already opened 96 investigations to investigate the wildfires that have spread throughout Brasil. The findings indicate that most of the wildfires were caused intentionally, with solid evidence of a connection to crimes such as land grabbing, illegal exploitation of public areas, and even political motivations.

Brasil’s presidency has placed climate change as one of the main themes of the G20, as explained by André Aquino, coordinator of the Environment and Climate Sustainability Working Group of the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change. “The topic of climate change is at the center of the G20’s attention, not only in the Climate Sustainability group. We also created the Task Force for the Global Mobilization against Climate Change, which promotes dialogue between governments, financial institutions, and international organizations. The extreme weather events of 2024 reveal the urgency of collective action,” he explains.

Aquino says that the objective of the work is to increase the available financing, facilitate access to resources and ensure that this money reaches the most vulnerable countries, such as some nations in Africa, Central America and Southeast Asia. “The situation is increasingly alarming. We need to increase our ability to adapt. We propose a global fund to encourage tropical nations to maintain their forests and control wildfires through payments,” he emphasizes.

The coordinator comments on the preparation of the new Climate Plan, which will define actions for Brasil to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change impacts. “We are preparing a plan that has been discussed with society, and we are learning from other countries that also face recurring wildfires, such as South Africa, the United States and Canada,” he points out.

CONTINUOUS MONITORING AND CLIMATE CHALLENGES

Reporter: Ana Paula Cunha, a drought researcher at the National Center for Natural Disaster Monitoring and Alerts (Cemaden), reports that the period between 2023 and 2024 recorded the most intense and extensive drought since the agency began monitoring these events. “We conducted analyses based on two datasets, one starting in the 1950s and another in the 1980s. Both confirmed that the 2023/2024 drought is the most severe ever recorded in recent history,” she explains.

The researcher notes that droughts are not just local phenomena, but have transboundary impacts. “If we look at the map of drought in South America, we see that neighboring countries, such as Paraguay and Bolivia, are also facing water crises. Rivers cross borders, and when a drought affects the headwaters of a river in another country, we are also impacted,” she says.

Ana Paula also notes that the effects of these droughts and wildfires affect everything from energy production to agriculture and grain transportation. In addition, she highlights that the fires have a direct impact on human health. “Today, many regions of Brasil are facing more than 100 days without rain, which causes the smoke from the wildfires to remain suspended in the air, aggravating respiratory problems, which is very worrying,” she warns.

SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN WILDFIRES

The state of São Paulo experienced in August 2024 one of the most critical periods when it comes to wildfires, according to data presented by Fabiano Morelli, head of the Wildfire Program of the National Institute for Space Research (INPE). “From the beginning of the year until August 26, there was a significant increase in the number of wildfires compared to the same period of the previous year,” she informs.

According to the survey, there were 5,281 outbreaks of wildfires until the end of August, an increase of 378% compared to the 1,104 outbreaks of the previous year. INPE has been monitoring wildfires by satellite since 1998, which allows the seasonal comparison of fire outbreaks over the years. In August, satellite images captured the peak of the crisis, with several fire outbreaks visible in different regions of São Paulo and across the country. INPE continues to monitor the situation and reinforces the importance of raising awareness to minimize the impacts of wildfires.

GLOBAL OVERVIEW OF EXTREME CLIMATE EVENTS

In the world scenario, the emission of greenhouse gases and global warming result in more severe and devastating weather phenomena, affecting all regions of the planet in different ways. Heat waves are one of the most recurring problems. The United States and countries in Europe and Asia have been facing record temperatures, which have caused thousands of deaths, infrastructure collapse, and prolonged droughts, which primarily affect agricultural production and water supplies.

Moreover, the rising of sea levels, caused by melting glaciers and warming oceans, directly threaten island nations and densely populated coastal areas such as Bangladesh and parts of the southeastern US. The climate crisis is also related to food insecurity. With prolonged droughts in Africa, and altered rainfall patterns in many parts of the world, food production is at risk, which can lead to humanitarian crises and mass migration.

Coordinated global action is increasingly urgent to mitigate these effects and prevent climate impacts from becoming irreversible. Climate issues will be discussed between October 1st and 3rd in Rio de Janeiro when the G20 Environment and Climate Sustainability Working Group will hold technical and ministerial meetings.

REFORM IS ‘KEY’ TO UN’S RELEVANCE – INDIA

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi ADVOCATED REFORMS TO GLOBAL INSTITUTIONS WHILE STRESSING THE NEED FOR PEACE AS HE ADDRESSED THE 79TH UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY SESSION in New York on Monday.

Speaking at the SUMMIT OF THE FUTURE, Modi stated that “SUCCESS OF HUMANITY LIES IN OUR COLLECTIVE STRENGTH, not on the battlefield. FOR GLOBAL PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT, REFORMS IN GLOBAL INSTITUTIONS ARE IMPORTANT. REFORM IS THE KEY TO RELEVANCE.” 

His remarks came amid the conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, and the deteriorating situation on the Lebanon-Israel border. Israel launched a large-scale military operation against its northern neighbor on Monday, described as the deadliest since the 2006 Israel-Hezbollah war.  

Israeli strikes had killed at least 492 people as of Monday night, including 35 children and 58 women, with 1,645 people wounded, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry.

The Indian prime minister “reaffirmed India’s unwavering support to the people of Palestine, including continued humanitarian assistance,” according to a statement from New Delhi. Modi called for a ceasefire, the release of Israeli hostages, and a “return to the path of dialogue and diplomacy.” HE STRESSED THAT ONLY A TWO-STATE SOLUTION, INDIA’S OFFICIAL STAND ON THE DECADES-LONG CONFLICT, “WILL DELIVER ENDURING PEACE AND STABILITY IN THE REGION.”  

Modi also conveyed India’s continued support for Palestine’s membership at the UN. New Delhi has been walking a diplomatic tightrope on the Gaza conflict as it continues to maintain strong diplomatic and economic relations with Israel.

India has largely abstained on most resolutions related to Israel at UN bodies since the start of the Israel-Hamas conflict. Last week, New Delhi abstained on the UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY’S RESOLUTION DEMANDING AN END TO ISRAEL’S OCCUPATION OF PALESTINE WITHIN A YEAR. THE RESOLUTION WAS EVENTUALLY PASSED WITH AN OVERWHELMING MAJORITY. 

Modi noted in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that he had reiterated India’s support for an “early resolution of the conflict in Ukraine and RESTORATION OF PEACE AND STABILITY.”

BRUSSELS: The European Union opened its first summit with the Gulf states on Wednesday, part of an EU diplomatic push as it enlists international support to isolate Russia.

SAUDI ARABIA’S CROWN PRINCE MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN WAS RECEIVED BY PRESIDENT OF THE EU COMMISSION URSULA VON DER LEYEN AND PRESIDENT OF THE EU COUNCIL CHARLES MICHEL ON HIS ARRIVAL AT THE SUMMIT.

PRINCE MOHAMMED HELD A MEETING WITH VON DER LEYEN ON THE SIDELINES OF THE EVENT LATER ON WEDNESDAY, Saudi Press Agency reported.

THE CROWN PRINCE ALSO HELD MEETINGS WITH FRENCH PRESIDENT EMMANUEL MACRON and Greek prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during the event.

Opening the summit, MICHEL AFFIRMED THE BLOC’S READINESS TO BUILD A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH THE GCC COUNTRIES, noting that the first summit held at the level of heads of state and government since the launch of official relations between the two sides in 1989, was a MESSAGE OF UNITY AND HOPE.

He said that HOPE WAS NEEDED MORE THAN EVER CONSIDERING THAT GLOBAL STABILITY IS NOW THREATENED BY THE SITUATION IN THE MIDDLE EAST REGION.

Since Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine, the 27-member EU has reached out to other regional blocs, holding its first summit with ASEAN countries and its first for eight years with the CELAC community of Caribbean and Latin American countries.

ITS AIM IN MEETING THE SIX ARAB STATES IN THE GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL IS TO MAKE THE RELATIONSHIP MORE STRATEGIC, recognizing those countries’ influence particularly in conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East.

“The Gulf region is at the crossroads between Asia, Europe and Africa. It plays a very important role in many of the crisis of today,” a senior EU official said.

An EU partnership with Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates would cover trade and investment, renewable energy, regional security and citizen issues such as visas.

Though Brussels wants the GCC partners to agree strong language on Russia’s military assault on Ukraine, it is not expecting them to fully adopt its position in blaming Moscow. The two blocs are arguably closer on the Middle East, where the EU is calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and broader de-escalation.

One request from the Gulf side is visa liberalization. Currently, no EU visas are required for short stays for UAE citizens, while those of other Gulf nations need to secure a visa valid for five years.

FIRST EU-GCC SUMMIT IS A HISTORIC MOMENT

The first ever summit between the EU and the Gulf Cooperation Council is around the corner. On Wednesday, the leaders of the two blocs will convene in Brussels at the level of heads of state and government to give new momentum to the relations between Europe and the Gulf. This summit will send a powerful message to our citizens and the world: WE ARE COMMITTED TO DEVELOPING A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP FOR THE 21ST CENTURY.

This summit will build on our JOINT EFFORTS TO STRENGTHEN THE ALREADY DYNAMIC AND LONG-STANDING EU-GCC RELATIONS. The EU-Gulf strategic partnership adopted in 2022 expressed unequivocally that this region is of strategic importance to the EU and provides CONCRETE PROPOSALS AND ACTION PLANS TO FURTHER ACCELERATE OUR COLLABORATION ACROSS A WIDE RANGE OF AREAS. These include energy, climate change, trade and economic diversification, REGIONAL STABILITY AND GLOBAL SECURITY, humanitarian and development challenges, and closer people-to-people contacts.

To reflect this new level of partnership, in May 2023 the EU appointed its first special representative for the Gulf, Luigi Di Maio.

We are now ready to go further in facing together the current challenges in the global arena.

Additionally, the EU’s outward investments in the GCC, which reached €215 billion in 2022, make it one of the largest investors in the region.

The next EU-GCC business forum will be held in Doha next month. As a sign of support for the business communities in the Gulf, THE FIRST EUROPEAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN THE REGION WAS INAUGURATED IN RIYADH IN MAY. THERE IS VAST POTENTIAL FOR ECONOMIC COOPERATION AND THE EU IS READY TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE GOALS OF ECONOMIC DIVERSIFICATION AND TRANSFORMATION ENVISIONED BY THE GULF COUNTRIES.

The crown prince told a packed audience at the Future Investment Initiative forum in Riyadh that he would like to see the economic transformation of the region happen within his lifetime. 

He said HIS “WAR” WAS RESTORING THE MIDDLE EAST TO ITS PAST GLORY. “I believe the new Europe is the Middle East,” Prince Mohammed said. “THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA IN FIVE YEARS WILL BE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.”

THE CROWN PRINCE IS DRIVING SAUDI ARABIA’S VISION 2030 PLAN FOR ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL REFORMS. “IF WE SUCCEED IN THE COMING FIVE YEARS, OTHER COUNTRIES WILL JOIN US,” he said. “Even Qatar, despite our differences with it, has a strong economy and it will be completely different in five years.”

Higher crude prices and an expansion of the non-oil economy helped Saudi Arabia’s economy grow in the second quarter at its fastest pace for over a year, according to official data.

The crown prince praised Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, ruler of Dubai, who he said had set the standard for Middle East societies. 

Prince Mohammed was speaking on stage with Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad and Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri.

RIYADH: Saudi foreign minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Monday received Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab in Riyadh, state news agency SPA reported. The officials discussed opportunities to boost cooperation and topics of common interest.

THE VISION OF DANIEL 7. THE RISE OF THE “LITTLE HORN”

Daniel is worried about the fourth beast because it’s horrifying. It has iron teeth, bronze claws, and it “crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left” (Dan 7:19). He’s curious “about the ten horns on its head and about the other horn that came up, before which three of them fell—the horn that looked more imposing than the others and that had eyes and a mouth that spoke boastfully” (Dan 7:20).

THE RISE OF THE “LITTLE HORN” (DANIEL 7:23-25)

THE ANGEL EXPLAINS:

 ‘The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it. 24THE TEN HORNS ARE TEN KINGS WHO WILL COME FROM THIS KINGDOM. AFTER THEM ANOTHER KING WILL ARISE, DIFFERENT FROM THE EARLIER ONES; HE WILL SUBDUE THREE KINGS. 25He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time (Daniel 7:23-25).[final 3.5 years of the tribulation].

The beast represents a mighty kingdom of darkness. It’s identical to the fourth kingdom from Daniel 2, which the angel described as strong as iron—“and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others” (Dan 2:40).

We can say these ten kings (or kingdoms—the kings in Daniel’s visions are always synonymous with their realms) are a second phase of the historical Roman Empire because one could trace their origins back to it.

This is the time of the antichrist and the last days. We know this because “after them [that is, after the period of the 10 kings] another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings” (Dan 7:24). THIS MYSTERIOUS “LITTLE HORN” IS THE ANTICHRIST, who John later reminds us is on the way (1 Jn 2:18). The angel tells Daniel the little horn will “put down” (RSV) three of the ten nations and arise from somewhere among them (“came up from among them,” Dan 7:8).3 He’s different from the others because (Dan 7:25):

FIRST, HE WILL SPEAK AGAINST GOD. Earlier, Daniel saw THAT HE HAD “A MOUTH THAT SPOKE BOASTFULLY” (Dan 7:8). This is blasphemy. The apostle Paul later calls this individual “THE MAN OF LAWLESSNESS” WHO “WILL EXALT HIMSELF OVER EVERYTHING THAT IS CALLED GOD OR IS WORSHIPED, SO THAT HE SETS HIMSELF UP IN GOD’S TEMPLE, PROCLAIMING HIMSELF TO BE GOD” (2 Thess 2:4; cp. Rev 13).

SECOND, HE WILL OPPRESS BELIEVERS. This is a long and deliberate campaign that wears believers down (NASB) or wears them out (KJV). The apostle John later saw a vision of antichrist—a horrid beast which combined imagery from all four monsters from Daniel’s visions (Rev 13:1-4). “IT WAS GIVEN POWER TO WAGE WAR AGAINST GOD’S HOLY PEOPLE AND TO CONQUER THEM. AND IT WAS GIVEN AUTHORITY OVER EVERY TRIBE, PEOPLE, LANGUAGE AND NATION” (REV 13:7).

THE PRINCE, BEAST, ANTICHRIST BEHEADS THE TRIBULATION SAINTS BY A SWORD WHO DON’T TAKE HIS VACCINATION MARK

THIRD, HE WILL TRY TO CHANGE SET TIMES AND LAWS. The antichrist will pervert and twist public morality, virtue, and decency into a lie.  Some also believe this refers to anti-religious sentiment in general—a pure secularism and a “new table of religious festivals.” It’s both.

God gives His people over to this evil figure’s power for a set period (“3.5 times”) it is three-and one-half years (cp. Dan 12:5-7, 11). The significance here is not the length of the evil king’s reign, but its sudden crash after a rapid acceleration. It speeds up quickly (“a time, times …”), and then hits a wall and crashes with no warning (“half a time”).

THE LITTLE HORN’S FALL (DANIEL 7:26-27)

Why does antichrist’s kingdom crash and burn so suddenly?

Because, the angel explains, “the court will sit, and [antichrist’s] power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever” (Dan 7:26). This is an elaboration on Daniel 7:14. We know the evil empire’s fall will be sudden and violent—remember the stone that smashes the statue from Daniel 2? The apostle John tells of an angel picking up a huge boulder and throwing it into the sea: “WITH SUCH VIOLENCE THE GREAT CITY OF BABYLON WILL BE THROWN DOWN, NEVER TO BE FOUND AGAIN” (REV 18:21). This is when God avenges the blood of His servants, and the heavenly chorus sings: “Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever” (Rev 19:2-3).

THE RESURGENCE OF BABEL NEOM： MBS’ PERSONAL DYSTOPIA

Daniel’s vision is the divine courtroom where the Ancient of Days declares: “Enough is enough!” John’s apocalypse tells us that, as antichrist’s evil kingdom smolders in ruins, Jesus the King returns to this sphere with the armies of heaven to do battle with His sinister counterpart. “He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God” (Rev 19:13). This is the blood of God’s enemies, tramped and splattered like so many grapes in a vat. The prophet Isaiah explained: “I trampled the nations in my anger; in my wrath I made them drunk and poured their blood on the ground” (Isa 63:6). John warns that Christ “treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty” (Rev 19:15).

Then, the angelic guide tells Daniel, “His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him” (Dan 7:27).

What does all this mean?

DANIEL’S VISION TELLS US SIX THINGS:

1. A singularly evil figure will rise from a nation which derives, in some way, from the historical Roman Empire.
2. This antichrist will then subdue three nations which stem from the historical Roman Empire.
3. He will persecute God’s people, twisting public decency and morality against everything God says is good—a program of pure secularism that is rabidly anti-religious.
4. Antichrist will rise rapidly then experience a sudden and spectacular crash (“time, times, and half a time,” Dan 7:25). Revelation 18-19 tells us this “crash” is God’s violent overthrow of Babylon (Rev 18:21-24) and Jesus’ second coming (Rev 19:11-21).
5. The Son of Man will take His seat as King and make all things new (Dan 7:13-14, 28; cp. Rev 21-22). “Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father” (Mt 13:43).
6. To Daniel and the exiles then, God’s message was: “The kingdoms of this world will surely fall, and I’ll judge them, and I’ll make everything right.”

WORLD LEADERS COMMIT TO AN AGENDA THAT LAYS THE FOUNDATION FOR NEW ‘GLOBAL GOVERNANCE’

MBS MAKES ‘PACT’ WITH THE UNITED NATIONS:

The “PACT FOR THE FUTURE” is a 56-page document that our leaders just committed us to. The centerpiece of THIS AGREEMENT IS DESIGNED TO “STEER HUMANITY ON A NEW COURSE.” This is a global agenda that literally covers just about every aspect of daily life. THE UN DESCRIBES THE PACT AS A “LANDMARK DECLARATION” PLEDGING ACTION TOWARDS AN IMPROVED WORLD FOR TOMORROW’S GENERATIONS. The agreement adopted by 193 members includes a pledge to MOVE FASTER TOWARDS ACHIEVING THE UN’S SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) AND THE PARIS AGREEMENT COMMITMENTS ON CLIMATE CHANGE.

You would think an agreement of this magnitude would be the lead on every news broadcast and headline across the globe. However, this news was pretty much ignored by the Mainstream Media, especially here in the West. Most people I have asked have never heard of the “Pact for the Future,” which is interesting because, with this lack of knowledge, there was very little concern about whether or not we should commit to an agenda that lays the foundation for a “New World Order.”

GLOBAL DIGITAL COMPACT

On September 22, 2024, the United Nations posted this announcement on its website: “WORLD LEADERS TODAY ADOPTED A PACT FOR THE FUTURE THAT INCLUDES A GLOBAL DIGITAL COMPACT AND A DECLARATION ON FUTURE GENERATIONS.“

What is the Global Digital Compact? Reading directly from the UN website, this Global Digital Compact (GDC) will:

1. Close all digital divides and deliver an inclusive digital economy
2. Connect all people, schools, and hospitals to the Internet
3. Make digital technologies more accessible and affordable to everyone, including in diverse languages and formats
4. Build an inclusive, open, safe, and secure digital space
5. Promote and facilitate access to independent, fact-based, and timely information to counter mis- and disinformation
6. Establish an international panel on AI and a global AI policy
7. The GDC calls for leveraging digital innovations to advance the Sustainable Development Goals.

THE BEAST’S SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY: ARTIFICAL INTELLIGENCE, GENETIC ENGINEERING, TRANSUMANISM, ROBOTICS, INTERNET OF THINGS. THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION.

They are going to CREATE AN INTERNATIONAL PANEL TO FORM A GLOBAL AI POLICY, WHICH MEANS THEY WILL USE AI TO CONTROL EVERYONE GLOBALLY! THIS AGREEMENT WILL ADVANCE THEIR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS, WHICH MEANS ESG SCORES, 15-MINUTE CITIES, ELECTRIC VEHICLES, DIGITAL IDS, AND DIGITAL CURRENCY WILL ALL BE FAST-TRACKED GLOBALLY.

COMBATTING DIGITAL MISINFORMATION

This document says they will be “COMBATTING DIGITAL MISINFORMATION: GOVERNMENTS AND TECH COMPANIES MUST WORK TOGETHER TO COMBAT MISINFORMATION, HATE SPEECH, AND CYBERCRIME THROUGH REGULATIONS, TRANSPARENCY MANDATES, AND REAL-TIME MONITORING SYSTEMS.”

Question: What will be considered hate speech? Answer: Anything that takes a Biblical stance, especially anything concerning marriage and gender.

SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY PRACTICES

Another section of this agreement is SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY PRACTICES. What does that mean? It means GOVERNMENTS WILL NOW HAVE THE GREEN LIGHT TO “ADVOCATE FOR GREEN TECHNOLOGY” AND TO “CONTRIBUTE TO THE FIGHT AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE,” WHICH MEANS THEY WILL DO WHATEVER THEY WISH IN THE NAME OF CLIMATE CHANGE.

This agreement says another “KEY PRINCIPLE OF THE GDC” IS “UNIVERSAL CONNECTIVITY,” meaning ACCESS TO THE INTERNET WILL NOW BE SEEN AS A FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHT. HAVING THE INTERNET IS NOW A HUMAN RIGHT! WHY? BECAUSE THEY NEED IT TO CONTROL ALL ASPECTS OF HUMAN LIFE. Meaning they need the world to be digital! We can’t feed everybody in third-world countries, but by golly, they will have digital access. The UN will make sure they have Internet over food.

A MORE “CENTRAL ROLE OF THE UNITED NATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL POPULATION.” IN LAYMAN’S TERMS, “YOU WILL OWN NOTHING, AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY!”

Along with the “Pact for the Future,” THE UN ALSO SEALED ANOTHER AGREEMENT CALLED “THE DECLARATION ON FUTURE GENERATIONS.” This is designed to pave the way for a sustainable future. In layman’s terms, our kids and grandkids will not be able to reverse or get out of the agreements governments are putting in place today. As they say, the goal is to influence global policy and actions for future generations.

STATE OF PALESTINE

According to Scripture, this decision will be their downfall and will end in their own demise. God has said:

THE GLOBAL DISMANTLING

“Thus he said: ‘The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, which will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth and tread it down and crush it.”- Daniel 7:23

An intentional sabotage of the systems of the world’s nation-states is in full swing. Piece by piece, inch by inch, the mechanisms that have worked for decades, and centuries in some cases, to make our world functional both regionally and internationally, are being destroyed. From borders to production, shipping to trade, economic profitability to investments, all are being torn asunder as all semblance of stability is being ripped apart limb from limb. Why is this? Why is the concept of a “Great Reset” not so much a stepping back to reimagine improvements as we move forward, as it is a nuclear bomb that smashes to smithereens every ounce of common sense, sanity, and prosperity we have known and believed …beyond all recognition? The answer is stark and perhaps even dismal for those who strive to keep a positive perspective. Quite simply … WE HAVE ARRIVED AT THE FINAL BEAST SYSTEM OF WORLD GOVERNMENT … and It is here to demolish everything! 

THE BEGINNINGS

“Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

Way back in history, an event took place that shook the heavens. It was likely before the creation of the world although we cannot be sure of the exact time of its occurrence. But sometime long long ago, Lucifer, the anointed Cherubim, led a rebellion against God almighty in Heaven. The head Angel was so enamored with his own beauty and great gifts that he wanted to ascend to the heights of Heaven and be worshipped as God Himself:

Commentary: Satan’s five (5) “I WILLS,” have his evil fingerprints over everything evil in the book of Revelation. His desire to counterfeit everything that God accomplished through his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, is manifested in the Babylonian system (compared to heaven), Babylonian City (compared to New, Heavenly Jerusalem), Babylonian False Mystery Religion (compared to the true worship of God/ Jesus Christ), beast/antichrist (compared to Jesus Christ), false prophet (compared to John the Baptist), lake of fire death (compared to eternal life through Jesus Christ). Satan is the consummate ‘puppet master’, pulling the strings of the beast/antichrist and the false prophet to deceive mankind with his false, evil promises compared to the truth of salvation provided and offered by Jesus Christ.

‘ALLAH’ IS THE DEVIL, SATAN, DRAGON, ROARING LION, PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR

“THE 5 ‘I WILLS’ OF SATAN”

Let us consider the five “I WILLS” of Lucifer as found in Isaiah 14:1314:

. . . “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most high. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” (Isaiah 14:12-15).

 1) “I WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN.” Lucifer wanted to mount up or scale to the heavens. He desired to occupy the highest heavens:  to probe, and to penetrate the kingdom of the infinite God. He wanted to have a very HIGH position!

 2) “I WILL EXALT MY THRONE ABOVE THE STARS OF GOD.” Lucifer’s position and service before God’s throne was not enough. He wanted a throne from which he could exercise final authority and make decisions pertaining to the angelic host (“the stars of God”). He wanted to rule over all the angels. God had made him an exalted angel, but Lucifer wanted to be exalted even more. (He was not content to shine as the “morning star”;  he wanted to shine as the star of stars–with a brilliance that would far outshine all the other stars (even as the sun’s brightness makes all the other stars fade away so that you cannot even see them during daylight hours).

 3) “I WILL SIT ALSO UPON THE MOUNT OF THE CONGREGATION.” He desired to sit or be enthroned in the highest place having all the angelic assemblies in submission to him. He wanted to be the center of attention. He wanted to be IDOLIZED by all.

4) “I WILL ASCEND ABOVE THE HEIGHTS OF THE CLOUDS.” “Clouds” are often used in the Bible to speak of the glory of God (see Matthew 24:30; Acts 1:9; Rev. 1:7). Lucifer coveted God’s glory for his own.  He failed to acknowledge that his glory and beauty all came from and was dependent upon God. In his sinful pride, Lucifer wanted a glory that would impress and dazzle all creatures.

5) “I WILL BE LIKE THE MOST HIGH.” He wanted to be EQUAL with God and to take God’s place as Possessor and Ruler of all. He wanted to become a completely independent creature, responsible to no one.

‘ALLAH’ IS NOT THE FATHER, SON OR HOLY SPIRIT. MUSLIMS DENY THE HOLY TRINITY AND DENY JESUS CHRIST’S DIVINITY. THEY DENY JESUS CHRIST’S FREE OFFER OF FORGIVENESS OF THEIR SINS, THROUGH THE SHEDDING OF HIS BLOOD AND HIS RESURRECTION. THEY EVEN DENY HIS RESURRECTION. ISLAM DENY’S THE MAIN TENETS AND DOCTRINES OF THE HOLY WORD OF GOD, THE PURPOSE OF JESUS CHRIST’S MINISTRY AND THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Those who ‘worship the dragon and beast’ are completely deceived by the world and Satan’s machinations and lies. DO NOT BE DECIEVED!!! ‘ALLAH’ IS NOT GOD. THE DRAGON IS THE FATHER OF (5) LIES, DECEIT, TRICKERY, DEATH AND DESTRUCTION.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Of course, his vain plan failed and God sentenced Him and 1/3 of the angelic realm (the devil’s demonic government who rebelled with him ) to an eternally damned state. There was one caveat, however. The sentence was read but the start date was deferred to a later time. Thus for six millennia, we have seen Lucifer (known as Satan, Devil, Dragon, Serpent, Prince of the Power of the Air, Allah) deceive and destroy in every way he possibly could. He is bitter and he is disillusioned. But He is cunning and has a powerful team of fallen angels at his side and they are determined to either go down swinging (taking as much of humanity as they can down with them) or hopefully in their depraved minds, figure out a way to still overcome God.  

After creation, in the Garden of Eden, Satan planted a seed with Eve that has morphed over the last 6000 years. Satan lied to Eve and told her that if she betrayed God and ate the fruit of the “Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil “she and her offspring, known as humanity,  would be like God. Their eyes would be opened and they could then see things as they really are and not simply be blindly following God’s restrictive agenda. They could gain wisdom and power and be gods themselves if they would just follow Satan’s plan instead of obeying God, whom the Devil insinuated was hiding good things from them. 

EVE CAVED IN UNDER THE TEMPTING PRESSURE!

Eve and Adam ate the fruit and sin entered the world. From that point, the ball started rolling toward a world where Satan’s worldview would constantly be uplifted and promoted by fallen man to counter God’s worldview which would be embraced by far fewer human beings. Satan’s ultimate goal was to lead an entire world in rebellion against God and to be worshipped by humanity in place of God almighty! But …God had different plans. 

GOD’S PLAN

In Gen 3:15 God promised Satan that a Savior would come from Eve’s offspring sometime in the far-off future:

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

That Savior would destroy Satan and his evil schemes although the Savior Himself would also endure suffering. In the end, that Savior would restore fallen humanity to God, but through the ages, the story of human struggle would be long and painful on its way to their ultimate renewal. 

ALLAH’S / SATAN’S RESPONSE

Satan knew the summary of God’s plans but not the details so he became obsessed and fixated on stopping the promise. 

Over the next 1500 years, Satan and his demonic cohorts managed to corrupt nearly the entire world and he may have believed that stopping the future savior from coming was within his grasp. If no one was left to honor God, the Devil figured he would win. But as always is the case, our Heavenly Father preserved for Himself a small family that still was faithful to Him. Noah and his family were protected through the first catastrophic global judgment of the Great Flood and God started over with a believing remnant to populate the post-flood world and disarm Satan’s attempt to utterly pervert the whole planet. 

A few hundred years later SATAN ATTEMPTED TO UNITE THE WORLD AT BABEL AND BRING ABOUT A SATANIC KINGDOM UNDER AN ANTICHRIST-TYPE FIGURE NAMED NIMROD. The timing for such a one-world order however was not right because God had not yet provided the Savior that He promised would spiritually save mankind. God scattered the peoples of Babel to the corners of the world creating the various nation states. He also changed their language so they would have great obstacles in ever again coming together under the Devil as one people moving forward. Communication would be a huge problem. And once again …Satan was foiled and he had to wait!  

THE SAVIOR’S FAMILY

Later …God called Abraham to follow Him by faith and in turn for his faithfulness, God would establish Abraham’s family as the ones that would ultimately bring forth the Promised Savior. The Nation of Israel was born and through that family, the whole world would be blessed :

“The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” -Gen 12:1-3

From the moment Satan figured out that Abraham’s Israeli children were the chosen family to bring forth the Savior, it has been his 3 part obsession to A) take the world’s worship for himself contrary to God’s plan …B) keep the Messiah from coming and reclaiming humanity for God’s glory…C) snuff out Israel so the promises of God could never be fulfilled.

-He persuaded Pharaoh to try to kill all the newborn Jewish babies in an attempt to eliminate the promised Savior. 

-He deluded Haman to try and exterminate all the Jews in Persia.  

-He riled up Herod to seek baby Jesus to try and kill God’s Messiah. 

-The Devil also tried internal subterfuge. He stirred unrest and unfaithfulness among the Jewish people to betray God from generation to generation often bringing harsh judgment on the nation from their Heavenly Father. 

Centuries passed, the kingdom was split and both halves (Israel and Judah) experienced exile to foreign lands as punishment for their unfaithfulness to God yet a remnant was always preserved by the Lord to keep the plan moving forward and the Savior’s arrival time on schedule. 

THE SAVIOR ARRIVES

When Jesus finally appeared on the scene, the Devil tried to tempt Him into taking the kingdoms of the world as a gift with the sole stipulation that Jesus had to bow down to the Chief of the fallen angels. (If God Himself would bow down to Satan then his goal would be achieved) Of course, our Lord rebuked Satan and refused the offer knowing full well that the world’s kingdoms were destined by God’s decree to one day all be His to judge and rule over but that would be at His Second coming.

 He had other business to take care of on His First earthly visit. He had to die on the cross for humanity (to save them spiritually) and build His church to graft in the Gentiles before the world would ever be restored physically and united under Christ’s global Lordship on David’s throne!

At the cross, Satan may have temporarily thought he had gained a victory watching God’s Son rejected as Messiah and killed. In reality, it was the death blow to Satan’s aspirations because, at the Cross, Jesus paid for humanity’s sin and opened the door for sinners to be legally restored to God by His substitutionary atonement. Death and sin no longer were the powerful tools Satan could use to manipulate men through fear. 

“O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” – 1 Corinth 15:55-58

Jesus came out of the tomb victorious, and He ascended to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God until the Father tells Him it is time to return and claim His bride ( the Church ) at the Rapture. 

Until that moment comes, the Church was to grow and grow and reach the corners of the globe with the Gospel. Israel was temporarily placed on the sidelines to wait until her King would return to set up the glorious thousand-year kingdom with Christ on David’s throne in Jerusalem. And the world? Well, it was to heave to and fro with the winds of change, kingdom after kingdom, tyrant after tyrant, growing worse and worse morally, but smarter and smarter technologically …. Until one day, communication barriers would be overcome and Babel would become a reality once again! 

THE FOUR BEASTS

The prophet Daniel was given a vision of four beasts that would rule over His people Israel from His time in Babylon until the Messiah would come to set up His earthly millennial kingdom. The Beasts were Babylon (in Daniel’s Day), the Medo/Persian empire followed second, Alexander’s Greece was third, and the Roman Empire was fourth. That is where history was when Israel was destroyed and scattered throughout the world in 70 AD.  The next two millennia saw a long succession of earthly kingdoms coming and going as well as the age of the Church being built and the scientific community making huge technological gains advancing us to our current world today.

Then … In 1948 Israel was reborn as a nation. This was right on the heels of the post-World War Two founding of the UN. The European Coal and Steel Community established a treaty in 1952 to help bring about a Western European Union alliance helping birth a modern Roman Empire in its infancy. Out of that, the current EU (European Union) came together and in 1999 they adopted a common currency, the Euro. On a larger scale, we have seen many globalist groups established since 1948. GROUPS SUCH AS THE WEF (WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM) AND THE WHO (WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION) ALONG WITH THE IMF (INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND) AND WORLD BANK AND MANY OTHERS.

So just as Israel is back, THE REVIVAL OF THE FOURTH BEAST (ROME) HAS EMERGED AND FROM THAT REGION OF EUROPE WILL COME THE MAN WHO WILL LEAD A RISING GLOBAL GOVERNMENT DIVIDED INTO 10 REGIONAL SPHERES. THE 10 REGIONAL GOVERNORS WILL PLEDGE THEIR ALLEGIANCE TO THIS GLOBAL DICTATOR AND MAKE HIM KING OF THE WORLD JUST AS SATAN HAS LONG HOPED WOULD HAPPEN. 

“The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.” -Rev 17:12-13

THE FINISH

The Judeo Christian world view that has freed billions of people from tyranny and truly helped establish human rights throughout the planet as it spread westward these last 2000 years, (because it recognizes we all have value that comes from being created in God’s image) and is NOW UNDER INTENSE ATTACK FROM THE GLOBALIST PROMOTERS BECAUSE THEY WANT ALL RIGHTS TO COME FROM GOVERNMENT AND NOT FROM GOD. 

The nation states that God established when He destroyed Babel and scattered the people throughout the world, (particularly the leader of those nations which is the sovereign United States Of America ) are under attack because strong nationalism is a deterrent to a global takeover by the elites who want a one-world government just as nimrod wanted at Babel.  THIS IS THE ONLY TIME IN HISTORY WHERE THE LEADERS OF INDIVIDUAL NATIONS ARE PURPOSELY DESTROYING THEIR OWN BORDERS, THEIR OWN ECONOMIES, THEIR OWN ABILITY TO DEFEND THEMSELVES, AND THEIR OWN HISTORIES IN ORDER TO WEAKEN THE NATIONS THEY REPRESENT. THEY FORESEE POSITIONS BEING GRANTED TO THEM IN A HIGHER GOVERNMENT OF GLOBAL CONTROL AND ARE WILLING TO BETRAY THEIR CONSTITUENCY TO SECURE POSITIONS AMONG THE GLOBAL ELITES. 

So now the stage is being set and we have come full circle. If the globalist planners get their way, they get to establish a new Tower of Babel with themselves at the top of world rule! Their priorities are to destroy the Judeo-Christian worldview so they can dictate what rights and privileges the masses will be granted. SOCIAL CREDIT SCORES WILL REPLACE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. FAULTY SCIENTISTS WHO ADHERE TO THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION AND THE DESTRUCTIVE CLIMATE CHANGE cult will be honored as the guides of humanity while faith in the Creator God will be seen as a weakness and a crutch for the mentally unstable. 

National heroes and those generations of people before us who bore the struggles of being nation builders, carving their niche in history through trial and error and through triumph and failure to better their countries and advance civilization through their hard work, their wars, and their ingenuity …. will all be discarded as failures for not living up to the new moral high ground these globalists claim to aspire to. 

SO WE SEE HISTORY BEING TRASHED AND REWRITTEN. WE SEE BORDERS BEING DESTROYED AND NATIONAL IDENTITIES BLURRED. WE SEE ECONOMIES BANKRUPTED AND MORALITY REDEFINED. WE SEE BELIEF IN THE JUDEO-CHRISTIAN GOD BEING RIDICULED AND FAITH IN SCIENCE AND MAN-MADE GODS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE BEING HERALDED. WE SEE GOD’S CREATED ORDER OF MAN AND WOMAN BEING REPLACED WITH THE THEORY THAT HUMANS CAN SELF-IDENTIFY AS ANYTHING THEY CHOOSE. UP IS DOWN AND DOWN IS UP …AND IT’S BEING PURPOSELY ENGINEERED THIS WAY FOR A REASON. 

This final Beast will incorporate all of Satan’s past strategies to rule the world in one last gasp:

1. Corrupt humanity with utter sinfulness as He did before the flood making men’s minds depraved and desiring to cast off all remembrance of God and His ways (Ps 2). Perhaps we will even see the blasphemous merging of man and computer and the altering of DNA again as Satan attempted to do with fallen angels and human women before the flood. 
2. Destroy nations and build a global empire with one Satanic ruler at the top as He did at the Tower of Babel.
3. Destroy Israel as He attempted with Pharaoh and Haman (and more recently Hitler) so there is no Throne of David for Messiah to return to thus making God a liar for not fulfilling His promises to Israel. 

1. Prevent God’s Messiah from coming as Herod tried to do by wiping out His Chosen Nation Israel and having the armies of the world waiting at Megiddo to Fight Jesus at His return. 
2. Confuse Israel’s judgment and lead them astray as He did with their Old Testament kings by luring them into a false covenant that will be their demise rather than safety. Putting faith in men and not God. They will trust their false messiah because they rejected their true one! 

All these efforts are destroying everything that we have known and are restructuring a whole new world that will ultimately worship Satan. The Old World will be torn to pieces and completely demolished while the new order is established and set in place. The only element of the world we have known that will not be overcome is the Church because Jesus promised the gates of Hell could never stand against the New Testament Saints. THE RAPTURE / HARPAZO OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST. DREAMS AND VISIONS

Revelation often refers to BABEL AS THE MODEL FOR THE FINAL SYSTEM BOTH POLITICALLY AND SPIRITUALLY. Chapter 17 shows THE GREAT RELIGIOUS HARLOT THAT BABEL HAS INFLUENCED KNOWN AS “MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT: THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS!”  Chapter 18 shows the MAMMON SYSTEM OF COMMERCE AND WORLDLY POLITICAL SYSTEM KNOWN AS “BABYLON THE GREAT”!  THE FINAL BEAST SYSTEM OF ANTICHRIST IS A FINAL VERSION OF THE ORIGINAL BABEL. THE FIRST BABEL INTRODUCED ALL THE FALSE RELIGIOUS SYSTEMS OF THE POST-FLOOD WORLD AND ALSO INITIATED THE FIRST GREAT ATTEMPT TO POLITICALLY CONTROL THE WHOLE WORLD IN ONE UNITED GOVERNMENT HEADED BY NIMROD. WHEN THE FINAL SYSTEM IS CALLED BABEL IT IS BECAUSE THAT SYSTEM IS SATAN’S HOME BASE FOR A GLOBAL GOVERNMENT. NOT SO MUCH GEOGRAPHICALLY BUT THE SPIRITUAL DESIGN FOR RULING A WORLD ORDER. 

So…. When God destroyed Babel, He created the nations. In order to re-establish Babel, Satan is leading the destruction of the nations. And He is leaving nothing to chance. The destruction is going to be complete…and irreversible. 

CONCLUSION

All the mechanisms are in place for the rule of all aspects of human life by a global government. The Sustainable Development Goals are nation killers. The Environmental Social Governance policies are economic killers. The World Health Guidelines are national sovereignty negators. The migration policies are border destroyers. The LGBTQ and Pro-choice policies are population eliminators. We may possibly even be witnessing weather manipulation that is destroying all infrastructure of the human population centers through unbearable storm-related catastrophes. And certainly, the shifting away from the Judeo-Christian worldview of the West is causing all manner of devils to enter the public consciousness and turn hearts to darkness and minds to pure depravity. 

What we are witnessing is certainly the rise of the final beast! How do we know for certain? Because God almighty told us that when it would rise, it would crush everything to pieces that came before it into a mere residue and there could be no turning back. 

“After this I saw* in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

I considered* the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.” -Daniel 7:7-8

Satan wants to be king of the world. He wants to be worshipped by all humanity. He wants a position that has only been reserved for Jesus Christ but He still wants to claim it for himself. And for a short time, he will get his way in destroying everything that came before and will be the head of a world order, unlike anything we have ever seen before or will ever see again. 

It is now happening! The Beast system is arriving right now and our world and all we have known is being completely destroyed all around us just as God said it would. But when we see all these things come to pass we are to look up … because the Rapture of the Church is right at the the door! And our glorious Lord is about to come and take the throne that only He is worthy to take …And Satan’s long-desired but deeply degenerated desire is about to prove to be a fleeting mirage! 

“I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.” -Daniel 7:13-14

FIVE-FOLD SINS RESULTING IN MEN’S ETERNAL DAMNATION:

1. Worship the beast. (6X). (Rev. 13:4, 13:8, 13:12, 14:9, 14:11)
2. Worship the beast’s image. (6X). (Rev. 13:14, 13:15, 14:9, 14:11, 16:2, 19:20)
3. Take the beast’s mark. (6X). (Rev. 13:16, 13:17, 14:9, 14:11, 16:2, 19:20)
4. Take the beast’s number. (2X). (Rev. 13:17, 13:18)
5. Take the beast’s name. (2X). (Rev. 13:17, 14:11)

Commentary: There are a total of eighteen (18) verses that indicate the eternal sins of damnation that result from worshipping the beast, worshipping his image and taking his mark of identification. Three (3) denotes God’s emphasis and intensity. Six (6) denotes the evil number of man = 18, or 6+6+6 = 18, or 666 . . . “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six Hundred and threescore and six (666).” (Rev. 13:18). Worshipping the beast, his image and taking his mark are the eternal sins that men commit during the Tribulation.

There are a total of ten (10) combined references of evil men taking the beast’s mark, number or name. These three descriptions are synonymous with being identified with (or belonging) to the beast and his system. Ten (10) denotes God’s allness or physical completeness regarding things on earth. These ten references indicate man’s complete earthly evilness and damnation resulting from taking either the mark, number of name of the beast and his kingdom.

These men are so deceived and evil, that they not only allow themselves to worship the beast and his fake image, but they allow themselves to be physically ‘branded’ or marked in order to be identified with the beast. Evil men obtain this mark, number or name so they can also participate in the global economy in terms of buying and selling. They have to be identified as having this mark, number or name, physically evident on either their right hand or forehead, in order to be allowed to execute a purchasing or selling transaction. Once evil men worship the beast, his image and take his mark (or number, name), they are damned.

There are three verses regarding a very specific, powerful and clear angelic warning given to men on earth, to NOT worship the beast, or his image, or take his mark (name, number). Three (3) denotes God’s emphasis and intensity.

. . . “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” (Rev. 14:9, 14:10, 14:11)

Twice (2) the message is directed at men. The angel repeats himself indicating that the message is for men and what behavior is judged eternally sinful (for ever and ever). Men who worship the beast, his image and take his mark will;

1. Experience God’s wrath.
2. God’s wrath will not be diluted, or held back, but given in full strength.
3. They will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone for torment.
4. There torment will be forever and ever (eternity).
5. Their torment will be witnessed by holy angels.

1. Their torment will take place in the presence of the Lamb.
2. They will have no rest day or night, forever and ever (eternity).

There are seven (7) specific results that stem from men worshipping the beast, his image and taking his mark (name or number). Seven (7) denotes God’s divinely determined completeness as to his purpose or plan. Eternal punishment in the lake of fire and brimstone, day and night is the strongest wrath that God gives evil men (and Satan, beast/antichrist and false prophet). There is a specific mention that this torment takes place in the presence of the Lamb. These men, while in their torment, will see or consciously be aware of the existence of Jesus Christ. This will provide added pain, anguish and misery since they will be painfully made aware of the choice of their decisions (to worship the beast, his image and take his mark). They were warned not to do what they did.

The Bible gives plenty of examples of the glory that is given to those who did NOT worship the beast, his image or take his mark. Yet, despite the angelic warning . . . despite the 3 ½ year testimony of two witness and prophets . . . despite the witnessing of Tribulation Saints . . . despite the flying angel who proclaimed the gospel of Jesus Christ . . . evil men still chose to worship the beast, his image and to take his mark, name or number.

They chose to ignore the messages, the warnings, and the testimonies. And now, they are in the lake of fire and brimstone, and will have to pay the price for their evil decision(s), for eternity. They see Jesus Christ, and have become painfully aware of what they could have had through Jesus Christ and instead, they chose the false, empty promises of Satan by worshipping the beast, his image and taking his mark, name or number.

Their extreme bitterness and woeful regret will emotionally torment them for eternity, in addition to the physical pain, suffering and torment that they will experience in the lake of fire for eternity. Through their decision to follow Satan, God gave them exactly what they wanted. They did not want anything to do with Jesus Christ, who paid for their sins with his own blood. As such, God gave them over to Satan, since it was their free decision or choice, and what they desired while they were physically alive on earth.

These evil men did everything humanly possible to ignore warnings, to blaspheme God, to ignore the gospel of Jesus Christ, and instead they accepted and believed in lies, worshipped Satan, the beast and his image. Evil men even went so far as to physically defile their bodies (flesh) by taking the branding (mark, number or name) of the beast. All of these actions and behaviors enabled evil men to give themselves totally and wholeheartedly over to Satan through his system of the beast/antichrist and the false prophet.

There are two visions describing what John the Apostle saw, regarding men who were overcomers (them that had gotten victory) by NOT worshipping the beast, his image or taking his mark, number or name.

. . . “And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgements are made manifest.” (Rev. 15:2, 15:3, 15:4).

. . . “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgement was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” (Rev. 20:4).

Men who do NOT worship the beast, his image and take his mark are described as;

1. They are in heaven (stand on a sea of glass).
2. They have harps of God.
3. They sing praises and worship Jesus Christ for their salvation.
4. They acknowledge that God’s judgements came to pass.
5. They are given thrones upon which they sit upon.
6. They are given judgement.
7. They live and reign with Christ for a thousand years.

There are seven (7) specific results that stem from men NOT worshipping the beast, his image and taking his mark (name or number). Seven (7) denotes God’s divinely determined completeness as to his purpose or plan. These blessings or glories are the complete opposite of what awaits those men who DID worship the beast, his image and took his mark, name, number.

1. The righteous are in heaven for eternity versus evil men who are in the lake of fire and brimstone for eternity.
2. The righteous are joyful and play harps versus evil men who are bitter, resentful, angry, tormented, cry and wail in anguish.
3. The righteous sing the praise of and worship Jesus Christ versus evil men who once praised and worshipped Satan (through the beast, his image and in taking his mark).
4. Righteous men acknowledge that what God said would come to pass, in fact did come to pass (made manifest) versus evil men who ignored and rejected warnings, the gospel and testimonies of the truth.
5. The righteous are given thrones in heaven versus evil men who are drowning in torment in the lake of fire.
6. The righteous are given judgement versus evil men who are judged.
7. The righteous live and reign with Christ verses evil men who die and fall with Satan.

The avoidance of doing these five (5) eternal sins is one of the most important themes, in the entire book of Revelation. Men must avoid doing these things, literally at all costs. Even to the point of being beheaded or martyred. Men’s eternal destinies depend on it. Worshipping the beast, his image and taking his mark, name or number result in eternal damnation. There is no way of sugar coating or downplaying this reality.

12 REFERENCES TO JUDGE / JUDGING / JUDGEMENT:

1. . . . “And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not JUDGE AND AVENGE OUR BLOOD on them that dwell on the earth.” (Rev. 6:10).
2. . . . “And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that THEY SHOULD BE JUDGED, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest DESTROY THEM WHICH DESTROY THE EARTH.” (Rev. 11:18).
3. . . . “Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for THE HOUR OF HIS JUDGEMENT IS COME: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” (Rev. 14:7).
4. . . . “Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for THY ARE MADE MANIFEST.” (Rev. 15:4).
5. . . . “And I heard the angel of the water say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, BECAUSE THOU HAST JUDGED THUS.” (Rev. 16:5).
6. . . . “And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, TRUE AND RIGHTEOUS ARE THY JUDGMENTS.” (Rev. 16:7).
7. . . . “And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee THE JUDGEMENT OF THE GREAT WHORE that sitteth upon many waters:” (Rev. 17:1).
8. . . . “Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for STRONG IS THE LORD GOD WHO JUDGETH HER.” (Rev. 18:8).
9. . . . “Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For IN ONE HOUR IS THY JUDGEMENT COME.” (Rev. 18:10).
10. . . . “For TRUE AND RIGHTEOUS ARE HIS JUDGEMENTS: for HE HATH JUDGED THE GREAT WHORE, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath AVENGED THE BLOOD OF HIS SERVANTS at her hand.” (Rev. 19:2).
11. . . .And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and THE DEAD WERE JUDGED OUT OF THOSE THINGS WHICH WERE WRITTEN IN THE BOOKS, ACCORDING TO THEIR WORKS.” (Rev. 20:12).
12. . . . “And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and THEY WERE JUDGED EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO THEIR WORKS.” (Rev. 20:13).

JUDGING OR JUDGEMENT IS DESCRIBED AS;

God is the judge and provides judgements or decisions based on the actions, behaviors and deeds of men and angels.

Judgement is a decision requested to be made on behalf of someone (Tribulation Saints) who were wrongfully hurt (beheaded).

Someone (nations) are caught bloody red handed and are angry knowing that they will be judged for their actions, behavior and evil deeds. They are angry because they didn’t get away with it and were caught. They know they are going to have pay a price which they can’t afford.

Judgement is a request that someone be righted a wrong done to them.

Judgement is a request for a reward promised based on a stated outcome.

Judgement is based on timing. An evil act is done, its results are noted and accounted for. Time comes for the evil act to be judged and the resulting judgement exercised or made manifest.

Judgement, or the decision of what should be done has to be acted upon or made to occur (sent to prison). This is known as making a judgement manifest or physically exercised. This is the doing of what should be done.

Witnesses in the public gallery indicate that God’s judgements are “true and righteous.” This means that the public gallery can attest to the fact that God did take everything into account, all the details, actions, deeds, events, behaviors, statements, intents and came to the correct and truthful conclusion regarding the matter. Nothing was left out. Everything was taken into consideration as evidence, properly evaluated and applied against the benchmark, standard and/or law that was being applied. God’s administration of justice and his resulting judgements are found to be accurate, spot on, truthful, correct, no question about it. In Biblical words, “true and righteous.”

God is described as judging the “great whore” a.k.a. Babylon City (the great worldly capital of the beast’s/antichrist’s kingdom).

God is strong, meaning he can’t be swayed or weak in the sense that he lets some evil slide a bit in terms of not being judged or of receiving judgement. He is firm in his judgements and not weak-kneed. He does not fold under public pressure. He can’t be influenced, bribed, manipulated or pushed by a particular special interest group, lobby or entrenched political ideology or group. He is strong, firm, steadfast, unwavering in the application of his administration of justice. The wrath of his resulting judgements is not watered down or filtered out or held back. He gives the criminal, evil-person no slack and gives them the fullest extent of prison term possible (eternity). They are not sent to a plush prison serving three square meals a day with a basketball court, but to a lake of fire and brimstone. God does not ‘molly-coddle’ the evil, he gives them exactly what they deserve. He does not withhold his judgements, he pours out his wrath in full strength (at just the right time).

God’s judgement comes very swiftly, within “one hour.” There is no long drawn out period of rebuttals, challenges, reviews, counter-suits, passing on to a higher court, etc. A decision is made and done. The action of the decision is made manifest, very quickly. There is no delay in the manifestation of the decision. Babylon City is destroyed within one hour, split into three parts by a very great earthquake, consumed by fire and hammered by 100lb. hailstones (weight of a talent). Period. There is no punishment meted out in stages, over a long period of time. There is no slap on the wrist that comes with an admonition to don’t do it again. The celestial sledgehammer is dropped quickly and decisively, no force is held back.

God’s judgement includes not only the living but also the dead. Jesus Christ opens his book of life, to see if a dead man’s name is in it. The book of life is not unlike an accounting ledger that records all the debits and credits amassed over a period of time. These debits and credits are referred to as “according to their works.” If a man’s name is found in his book of life, Jesus acknowledges as much to the Father and “confesses the man’s name even to the angels.” Through Jesus Christ and his book of life, God is able to righteously judge dead men. Jesus’ book of life accounts for everyone, past, present and future.

Numbers within numbers, meanings within meanings. Twelve (12) descriptions of judging or judgement and twelve (12) references or verses from throughout the book of Revelation. Judging / Judgement. (Def.); to form a conclusion about a subject or outcome, to decide as in a case of court, to give a verdict about someone or something in court as truthful, applying the administration of justice and truthfulness. Only God and Jesus Christ are the judges. Period. Only God and Jesus Christ do the judging. Period. Only God and Jesus Christ reward, withhold or punish. Period. Only God and Jesus Christ are judge, jury, and jailer. God has his wrath. Jesus Christ has the keys to heaven and hell.

Having judgement and exercising judgement is derived from authority and rule. One can only be a judge if they have the authority to judge and the right to judge. One has to be competent to judge, to be able to discern right from wrong, truth from lies, good from evil, just from unjust, righteousness from unrighteousness, clarity from deception, godly from ungodliness, saved from unsaved. To be able to judge, one has to know all the facts, all the outcomes, all the intents, all the behaviors and apply these against a benchmark, a standard, a law that determines whether the data observed meet the benchmark, standard or law. Since God is omnipotent and knows everything occurring past, present and future, he is supremely just in knowing everything to take into account in performing judgement.

He is the only one capable of exercising correct, truthful and righteous judgement because he can and does take everything into consideration when exercising his administration of justice. Jesus Christ is the benchmark, the standard and/or the law. Jesus Christ paid our court fees, he paid the bail, and also paid a very expensive price so we wouldn’t have to go to jail, to the dungeon, to the hangman or to the lake of fire. God’s law of righteousness and truthfulness is;

Admit/Acknowledge/Accept that you are sinner. Ask God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins.

. . .For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

. . .As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. (Romans 3:10)

. . .If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (1 John 1:8)

Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that Jesus Christ is who He claimed to be; that He was both fully God and fully man and that we are saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. Put your trust in Him as your only hope of salvation. Become a son or daughter of God by receiving Christ.

. . .That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:15-17). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

Call upon His name, Confess with your heart and with your lips that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

. . .That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9-10)

This is the benchmark, standard and/or law by which God judges men. If Jesus Christ finds a man who meets this benchmark, standard and/or law, he acknowledges and confesses the man’s name before God as belonging to him and having meet the requirements. Jesus Christ acts as our lawyer, on our behalf, in the administration of God’s justice. Jesus saves us in God’s court of law and in the administration of God’s justice.

But the fearful, and UNBELIEVING, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in THE LAKE WHICH BURNETH WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE: WHICH IS THE SECOND DEATH.

SEVEN-FOLD REFERENCE TO LAKE OF FIRE JUDGEMENT:

1. “He that hath an ear, let hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of THE SECOND DEATH (LAKE OF FIRE).” (Rev. 2:11).
2. “The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he SHALL BE TORMENTED WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosover receiveth the mark of his name.” (Rev. 14:10-11).
3. “And THE BEAST was taken, and with him THE FALSE PROPHET that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These BOTH WERE CAST ALIVE INTO A LAKE OF FIRE BURNING WITH BRIMSTONE.” (Rev. 19:20).
4. “And the devil that deceived them was cast into THE LAKE OF FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, WHERE THE BEAST AND THE FALSE PROPHET ARE, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (Rev. 20:10).
5. “And death and hell were cast into THE LAKE OF FIRE. THIS IS THE SECOND DEATH.” (Rev. 20:14).
6. “And whosover was not found written in the book of life WAS CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.” (Rev. 20:15).
7. “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part IN THE LAKE WHICH BURNETH WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE: WHICH IS THE SECOND DEATH.” (Rev. 21:8).

The lake of fire is also known as the ‘second death’. This is the final place of burning, everlasting torment for Satan, the antichrist, the false prophet and those un-saved, un-believing souls from throughout the ages found NOT to be in the book of life, at the white throne judgement, at the end of the Millennium. The lake of fire and second death are also reserved for those deceived during the Tribulation who took the mark of the beast and worshipped him and his image.

 The evil dead are resurrected to be judged by Christ for their evil works and for their rejection of Him who offered himself for their salvation and forgiveness of their sins. As a result of their sins and judgment, they are cast into the lake of fire that represents a second death (the first death being physical body death and souls/spirits being in Hell). The evil dead are resurrected into bodies and cast into the lake of fire to be severely tormented, having no rest day or night, and are absent from a loving God and their Savior who offered himself for them.

THE GREAT IRONY IS THAT THESE PEOPLE RECEIVED EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANTED. THEY REFUSED CHRIST AND WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM, THEY WANTED TO EXIST IN ETERNITY WITHOUT COMMUNION WITH GOD AND CHRIST, ON THEIR OWN TERMS. THEY LITERALLY RECEIVED WHAT THEY ASKED FOR. THE STENCH OF THEIR PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL TORMENT RISES UP IN SMOKE, FOR ETERNITY.

God made both man and angels as eternal beings, hence they will exist forever in one state or another. Which state will any of us choose to exist in? The choice is up to us, and God grants us the freedom to make that choice for ourselves. For better or worse, we have no one to blame (certainly not God) except ourselves for whatever choices we make on earth.
