There will be 3 spectacular events in the heavens within the next 30 days. A “blood moon” lunar eclipse will happen this week, the “comet of the century” will begin to appear in the night sky later this month, and a “ring of fire” solar eclipse will happen on October 2nd. Needless to say, it is very unusual for so many historic heavenly events to occur so close to one another. And of course these signs in the heavens are all happening at a time when our entire planet is rapidly descending into a state of complete and utter chaos.
On Tuesday night, we will witness something truly special.
It isn’t every day that we get to see a partial lunar eclipse during a “supermoon”…
Turn your eyes to the sky on Tuesday for an extra special full moon.
The harvest moon, or closest full moon to the autumnal equinox, will also be a supermoon, appearing larger and brighter in the night sky. If that wasn’t enough, there will also be a partial lunar eclipse.
The full moon and lunar eclipse will be Tuesday night, Sept. 17, into Wednesday morning.
We are being told that during this partial lunar eclipse the moon will turn “blood red”…
Stargazers will be treated to a moon that is 14 per cent larger than normal. It will be blood red in colour, creating an eerie autumn effect.
The color – called a blood moon – is seen during partial or total lunar eclipses.
The twin event will be visible in Europe, South America, Africa, and much of North America.
Much of the civilized world will get to see this blood red moon.
Subsequently, a spectacular comet that has been dubbed “the comet of the century” by astronomers will be visible in the night sky starting in late September…
C/2023 A3, also known as Tsuchinshan–ATLAS and considered “the comet of the century,” will appear in all its splendor in our sky during September and October 2024. Due to its characteristics, astronomers believe it will be exceptionally bright, similar to Halley’s comet in 1986 or NEOWISE in 2020.
Apparently you will be able to see this comet even if you aren’t using a telescope.
It is being reported that it will be shining the brightest on October 2nd…
C/2023 A3 will shine in the northern hemisphere sky from September 27 and will remain visible until the last week of October. During this period, the comet will reach its minimum distance from the sun, before beginning its journey back out of the solar system.
According to the specialized blog Cometography, the day when C/2023 A3 will shine the brightest will be October 2. The comet’s tail will be long and spectacular at this point due to its proximity to the sun.
Okay, this is beginning to get really weird.
Do you remember what else is happening on October 2nd?
For those that do not remember, there will be a “ring of fire” Rosh Hashanah eclipse on October 2nd…
The “ring of fire” eclipse—also known as an annular solar eclipse—is a month away, and although Hawaii is the only U.S. state that will be within the partial path of viewing, parts of Chile and Argentina will see the entire eclipse, while other South American countries will also be in the partial or full path.
So let me get this straight.
A “ring of fire” solar eclipse will literally be occurring on the exact same day that “the comet of the century” is the brightest.
And all of this will be happening just as the festival of Rosh Hashanah is beginning.
As I discussed in a previous article, only 2 solar eclipses occur in 2024, and both of them fall on very noteworthy dates…
Why do solar eclipses keep falling on such noteworthy dates? In 2024, there will be a total of just 2 solar eclipses. The first happened on April 8th, 2024. That was known as the “Great American Eclipse of 2024”, and it occurred just after the sun had gone down in Israel and the first day of the first month on the Hebrew calendar had begun. The second solar eclipse of 2024 will take place on October 2nd. When it occurs, the sun will have just gone down in Israel and the festival of Rosh Hashanah will have just started.
In recent years, we have seen so many noteworthy eclipses happen, but most of the population is still not paying attention.
And most of the population also doesn’t seem to realize that our planet is becoming increasingly unstable.
On Monday, southern California was shaken by yet another sizable earthquake…
A magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck in Southern California early Monday, according to the United States Geological Survey, marking the second temblor to hit the region in less than five days.
The earthquake took place west of Los Angeles and was its epicenter was recorded about 3.5 miles north of Malibu, the USGS reported.
Further north along the North American coastline, we just witnessed a magnitude 6.5 earthquake…
A magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck off the coastal city of Port McNeill, in British Columbia, Canada, on Sunday, the United States Geological Survey said.
The quake’s epicenter in the Pacific Ocean was at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles) below the seabed, the USGS said.
Why can’t more people understand what is happening?
As I discussed a few days ago, earthquake activity in California is literally breaking records, and yet hardly anyone seems alarmed.
Before I end this article, let me throw just one more thing at you…
In a bit of ominous news befitting a Friday the 13th: It turns out that the asteroid Apophis could have a very small chance of colliding into Earth in five years, when it is expected to make a close flyby on April 13, 2029 − yes, a Friday the 13th. But we’d have to be extremely unlucky.
There’s still no cause for concern – at least not yet. For the asteroid named for an Egyptian god of chaos to pose a risk to Earth, it would need to be hit by another space rock at just the right angle to redirect the city-killer on a collision course.
Those odds? About one-in-2-billion.
They are now admitting that there is an extremely small chance that Apophis could actually hit us.
Personally, I am far more concerned about the giant space rocks that they haven’t even discovered yet.
Our region of space has been getting really busy in recent years, and it is only a matter of time before we get hit by something really big.
But for now life continues to go on as normal, and most people are paying very little attention to what is happening in the skies above us.

As the sun sets in Israel on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2, AND ROSH HASHANA, THE JEWISH NEW YEAR, BEGINS, THE SECOND SOLAR ECLIPSE OF THE YEAR WILL APPEAR IN THE HEAVENS.
This will be the second and final solar eclipse of the year. It will appear at precisely 15:42 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), which corresponds to 18:42 in Israel, almost PRECISELY AS THE SUN SETS AND THE HOLY DAY BEGINS.
The eclipse on October 2nd will not be visible in the continental United States or Israel, and the eclipse’s path will be entirely over the Pacific Ocean.
THE FIRST ECLIPSE APPEARED ON APRIL 8TH, KNOWN AS THE “GREAT AMERICAN ECLIPSE OF 2024.” It is important to note that April 8th was the eve of the new moon, marking the beginning of the Hebrew month of Nisan, referred to in the Torah as the first month. The month is considered auspicious as it contains the holiday of Pesach (Passover).
An annular solar eclipse was visible along a path covering parts of the United States, Mexico, and several countries in Central America and South America on October 14, 2023, exactly one week after the horrific attack by Hamas on Israel.
While skeptics claim this astronomical phenomenon has no spiritual significance, others note that the eclipse of 2017 THAT TRANSVERSED THE UNITED STATES USHERED IN A CATASTROPHIC HURRICANE SEASON, THE GLOBAL COVID EPIDEMIC, THE WAR IN UKRAINE, AND THE HORRIFIC HAMAS ATTACK ON ISRAEL.
WHEN THE THREE ARE ALIGNED, AN ECLIPSE OCCURS WHEN THE MOON PASSES BETWEEN EARTH AND THE SUN. IF THE MOON IS CLOSE TO EARTH, THEN THE LUNAR DISK WILL COMPLETELY BLOCK THE SUN IN A TOTAL ECLIPSE.
A RING OF FIRE, REFERRED TO BY ASTRONOMERS AS AN ANNULAR SOLAR ECLIPSE, OCCURS WHEN THE MOON PASSES BETWEEN THE SUN AND THE EARTH WHILE AT ITS FARTHEST POINT FROM THE EARTH. Hence the Sun appears as a very bright ring because the Moon doesn’t completely cover the Sun (like in a total eclipse) and instead leaves a bright border. This is, essentially, the opposite of a supermoon, when the moon is close to the Earth, making it appear larger. Sunday’s annular eclipse is especially rare as it comes in the summer.
The Earth’s orbit around the Sun is elliptical, so its distance from the Sun varies throughout the year, affecting its apparent size. When Earth is at its farthest distance from the Sun in early July, a total eclipse is somewhat more likely. In contrast, conditions favor an annular eclipse when Earth approaches its closest distance to the Sun.
IN THE BIBLE, SOLAR EVENTS ARE RECORDED AS HAVING A REMARKABLE AND SOMETIMES SUPERNATURAL SIGNIFICANCE. CONTROL OVER THE SUN WAS DEMONSTRATED BY GOD IN THE THREE-DAY PLAGUE OF DARKNESS AND IS PROPHESIED TO BE AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE END TIMES. THE PROPHET JOEL (2:31) PREDICTED, “THE SUN WILL BE TURNED TO DARKNESS AND THE MOON TO BLOOD BEFORE THE COMING OF THE GREAT AND DREADFUL DAY OF THE LORD.” THE PROPHET AMOS MAKES A SIMILAR PREDICTION: “AND ON THAT DAY – DECLARES MY GOD – I WILL MAKE THE SUN SET AT NOON, I WILL DARKEN THE EARTH ON A SUNNY DAY.”

Revelation 16:10 “And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat (capital) of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain.” Why would they “gnaw their tongues for pain?” EVERYTHING DEPENDENT ON SOLAR ENERGY WOULD CEASE!!! Mobility, entertainment, manufacturing, commerce, etc. THE GREAT CITY NEOM BABYLON, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS, THE GREAT WHORE, WOULD COME TO A TOTAL AND UTTER STANDSTILL AND EVERYTHING WOULD BE INOPERABLE.
There is only ‘one’ (1) total solar eclipse over the next twenty (20) years, AUGUST 2ND, 2027, THAT TOTALLY COVERS THE NEOM BABYLON FOOTPRINT AND THE BEAST’S TEN NATION CONFEDERACY (EUROPE). (NASA)
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of THEIR PAINS AND THEIR SORES, and REPENTED NOT OF THEIR DEEDS.
In giving rebuke to Hezekiah to inform him that he would die from his illness, the prophet Isaiah (13:9) wrote, “THE STARS AND CONSTELLATIONS OF HEAVEN SHALL NOT GIVE OFF THEIR LIGHT; THE SUN SHALL BE DARK WHEN IT RISES, AND THE MOON SHALL DIFFUSE NO GLOW.” As Isaiah predicted – and as much later calculated by NASA – on March 5 in 702 BC, the 16th year before Hezekiah’s death, A PROMINENT SOLAR ECLIPSE APPEARED OVER THE MIDDLE EAST. ITS PATH CROSSED THE ARABIAN PENINSULA AND THE OBSCURATION OF THE SUN OVER ISRAEL WAS MORE THAN 60 PERCENT.
ASTRONOMICAL PHENOMENA ARE OFTEN DISCUSSED IN JEWISH LITERATURE AS ACCOMPANYING THE MESSIAH. Jewish mysticism explains that this slight to the moon will be rectified AT THE END OF DAYS when the sun and the moon will be equal both size and intensity.
In its discussion of eclipses, the Talmud (Sukkot 29a) specifically described SOLAR ECLIPSES AS BAD OMENS FOR NATIONS THAT BASE THEIR CALENDARS ON THE SOLAR CYCLE.
At the end of this section describing the omens contained within eclipses, the Talmud states a disclaimer: “When Israel does the will of the place (God), they have nothing to fear from all of this,” citing the Prophet Jeremiah as a source.
Thus said Hashem: DO NOT LEARN TO GO THE WAY OF THE NATIONS, AND DO NOT BE DISMAYED BY PORTENTS IN THE SKY; LET THE NATIONS BE DISMAYED BY THEM! Jeremiah 10:2
The same source in the Talmud specifies that lunar eclipses are a bad omen for Israel since Israel is spiritually represented by the moon. If the lunar eclipse takes place in the east side of the heavens, then it is a bad omen for all the nations in the east, and similarly, if it occurs in the western hemisphere of the sky, it is a bad sign for all the nations in the west.
A solar eclipse can only occur because the sun and the moon appear to be the same in diameter as seen from the earth. THIS IS DUE TO A COINCIDENCE THAT IS UNIQUE AND HAS NOT BEEN FOUND ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE GALAXY. THOUGH THE SUN IS ABOUT 400 TIMES FARTHER AWAY THAN THE MOON, THE SUN IS ALSO ABOUT 400 TIMES BIGGER. IF THE DISTANCES OR SIZES WERE DIFFERENT THAN THEY ACTUALLY ARE, ECLIPSES WOULD NOT TAKE PLACE.
The Talmud relates to this, explaining why the sun and the moon appear to be the same size. The Talmud (Hulin 60b) discusses the seeming contradiction in the verse describing the creation of the sun and the moon.
HASHEM MADE THE TWO GREAT LIGHTS, THE GREATER LIGHT TO DOMINATE THE DAY AND THE LESSER LIGHT TO DOMINATE THE NIGHT, AND THE STARS. Genesis 1:16
Though initially described in equal terms, the verse then noted the sun and the moon were not equal, with the sun being called the “greater light” and the moon the “lesser light”. The Talmud explains that when God created the sun and the moon they were equal in every manner, including size and intensity. The moon complained, saying, “Two kings cannot share one crown.” God agreed and made the moon shine less intensely, compensating the moon by commanding Israel to set the calendar by its cycles.
Jewish mysticism explains that THIS SLIGHT TO THE MOON WILL BE RECTIFIED AT THE END OF DAYS WHEN THE SUN AND THE MOON WILL BE EQUAL IN BOTH SIZE AND INTENSITY.
A SOLAR ECLIPSE CAN ONLY OCCUR BECAUSE THE SUN AND THE MOON APPEAR TO BE THE SAME IN DIAMETER AS SEEN FROM THE EARTH. THIS IS DUE TO A COINCIDENCE THAT IS UNIQUE AND HAS NOT BEEN FOUND ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE GALAXY. THOUGH THE SUN IS ABOUT 400 TIMES FARTHER AWAY THAN THE MOON, THE SUN IS ALSO ABOUT 400 TIMES BIGGER. We’re currently unable to answer how big this coincidence is, since we don’t have enough statistical data on planet-moon systems yet, however we do have models of solar system formation.
So MY QUESTION IS, irrespective of the PRESENCE OF INTELLIGENT BEINGS or the possibility of actually observe total eclipses:
ACCORDING TO OUR KNOWLEDGE OF PLANET FORMATION, HOW UNLIKELY IS THIS COINCIDENCE?
In Deuteronomy 26, the Israelites are instructed to bring the FIRST FRUITS OF THEIR HARVEST TO THE TEMPLE AS AN OFFERING TO GOD. This mitzvah is not just a ritualistic obligation; it serves as a profound reminder of the continuity of the RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GOD, THE LAND, AND THE PEOPLE. As they present their offerings, they are commanded to recite a brief history of their people—beginning with Jacob, descending into Egypt, enduring slavery, and FINALLY BEING REDEEMED AND LED TO A LAND “FLOWING WITH MILK AND HONEY.”
HIGH WATCH TIMES & FEAST OF TRUMPETS
The recitation acknowledges that the abundance they now enjoy is part of a greater story, one that began long before them and will continue long after.
This act of giving the FIRST FRUITS REPRESENTS more than mere gratitude; it symbolizes A RECOGNITION OF LEGACY. The Israelites are not isolated individuals, living only for themselves. Rather, they are part of a much larger narrative, one that stretches back to the patriarchs and matriarchs and forward to future generations. THEIR ACTIONS IN THE PRESENT ARE INTIMATELY CONNECTED TO BOTH THE PAST AND THE FUTURE.
THE ‘RAPTURE,’ ‘HARPAZO’, ‘CATCHING UP’, ‘TWINKLING-OF-AN-EYE’, ‘IN A MOMENT’
“For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (or precede) them which are asleep. The Boeing aircraft, which will be displayed at theRIYADH SEASON 2024 Boulevard Runway zone covered about 1,000 kilometers, from Jeddah airport to Riyadh, on big trucks. The bodies of the planes were transported after their wings, fuselages and other functional components were taken apart.
PEOPLE ACROSS THE KINGDOM HAVE BEEN SHARING the aircraft journey (RAPTURE, HARPAZO, REDEMPTION, CATCHING UP, TWINKLING OF AN EYE) ON SOCIAL MEDIA featuring posts from Saudis donning the traditional attires and WAVING THE NATIONAL FLAG as they posed with the planes, FAMILIES GATHERED TO WITNESS the aircraft and children dressed in green shirts and caps waving little planes in their hands.
Saudi Arabia’s head of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki al Sheikh had announced on X a competition for Saudi nationals for the best photo of the aircraft on their way to Riyadh, promising a luxury cars as a prize.
Al Sheikh has been reposting several photos on his X platform highlighting the enthusiasm among people as the plane challenge continues to gain momentum.
The three aircraft will be transformed into shops and restaurants, featuring nearly 13 interactive events, including games and unique aviation experiences for all age groups.

A super harvest blood moon will light up the night sky Tuesday, just in time for spooky season.
The harvest full moon occurs every year in September, but this event will happen while the moon is at perigee, or its closest point to Earth.
That means this harvest moon will be a supermoon, appearing up to 14 percent larger than a regular full moon.
And in an extra-spooky twist, it will also be a blood moon. These only occur during a lunar eclipse and bathe the moon in red light.
Like supermoons, blood moons occur a few times per year, but it’s rare for these events to happen at the same time.
This is the second of four consecutive supermoons that will grace the skies through November.
It will be visible on the evening of Tuesday, September 17 and the morning of Wednesday, September 18.
For stargazers in the US, The super blood moon will rise out of the eastern sky at roughly 7:50pm on the East Coast and 7:10pm on the West Coast.

But even this slight overlap between the moon and Earth’s shadow is enough to change how we perceive the color of the lunar surface.
During a lunar eclipse, the Earth passes between the sun and the moon. This partially blocks sunlight from reaching the lunar surface, but some light does slip through.
Those photons have to pass through Earth’s atmosphere to illuminate the moon. The atmosphere acts like a filter, scattering blue light away but allowing longer-wavelength red, yellow and orange light to pass.
This is what gives the moon the reddish-brown appearance that we refer to as a ‘blood moon.’
Individually, a harvest moon, a supermoon and a blood moon are not especially rare or unusual events. They each happen every year. But it is rare to have all three phenomena appear in a single full moon.

Bible prophecy describes an astonishing event that will take place in the “last days.”
Suddenly, “in the blink of an eye,” the Bible tells us that every single true, sincere, “born again” follower of Jesus Christ in the entire world is going to disappear.
That is, they are going to be “caught up” or “snatched away” from this earth and meet the Lord Jesus Christ in the air in an event that Bible scholars call “the Rapture.”
Over the years, Christians have tried to capture the Rapture, this concept, in paintings and books and movies. The most famous effort was a series of novels in the 1990s and early 2000s called the Left Behind series.
The books tried to imagine and play out what it might be like when the Rapture happens, and Christians suddenly disappear from the planet, and what the effect will be on the rest of the world, on people who were not raptured but were left behind on earth, and how they might handle all the other Bible prophecies from the Book of Revelation that will come to pass following the Rapture, leading up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and His return to earth.
The series was written by Dr. Tim LaHaye, one of the most famous Bible prophecy scholars of the twentieth century, and New York Times bestselling author Jerry Jenkins, and it went on to become an international phenomenon, selling more than 65 million copies.
But, of course, Christians’ understanding of the Rapture long predates the writings of Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins–indeed, by two thousand years.
This is, therefore, a prophetic scenario worthy of closer consideration.
What does the word “Rapture” mean?
Now what does the word “Rapture” actually mean?
The most famous passage describing what theologians refer to as the Rapture is found in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.
The apostle Paul writes this:
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
While the word “rapture” itself does not appear in modern English translations of the Bible, the concept is rooted in Scripture.
The word itself comes from the Vulgate, the Latin translation of the Bible.
In 1 Thessalonians 4:17, particularly, in the Vulgate, the Greek word harpazō is translated as “rapturo,” which means “to seize, to carry off by force; to seize on, to claim for one’s self eagerly; or to snatch out or away.”
Most English translations of the Bible have, therefore, translated the word harpazō as “caught up.”
But English-speaking Bible scholars who studied the Latin Vulgate decided the word “rapture”, based on “rapturo,” was a useful and suitable term to express the scriptural concept of believers suddenly being removed from the world.
Dr. Mark Hitchcock and Dr. Thomas Ice, two Biblical scholars, have noted that “If you happened to pick up a copy of the Latin Vulgate at a garage sale, produced by Jerome in the early 400s, you would indeed find the word Rapture….The Vulgate was the main Bible of the medieval Western church until the Reformation. It continues to this day as the primary Latin translation of the Roman Catholic church….It should not be surprising to anyone that an English word in regular use today was developed from the Latin. That word, of course, is rapture.”
How Does the Bible Describe the Rapture?
Now, how does the Bible describe the rapture? What actually happens during the rapture?
In 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, we find significant and important clues about the Rapture.
Among them:
First, God does not want believers to be ignorant or “uninformed” about the last days or about the Rapture like people who “have no hope” (v. 13).
Rather, the Lord wants believers to be aware, to be ready, to be expectant even of “those who have fallen asleep in Jesus” (born-again believers who have physically died) to be resurrected in the last days—indeed, “the dead in Christ will rise first”, Paul wrote. (vv. 14, 16).
The Lord also wants believers who are still alive in the last days to be aware, ready, and expectant for the fact that we will be united with the Lord Jesus Christ and with resurrected believers during the Rapture (vv. 15-16).
During the Rapture, the Lord Jesus Christ will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel of God and with the sound of the trumpet of God (v. 16).
That’s what Paul wrote to us, which means that during the Rapture, as the Lord descends from heaven, believers, people who are true born-again followers of Jesus Christ, alive at that time, will be caught up, will be snatched up from earth to meet the Lord in the air (v. 17).
Unlike the second coming of Jesus Christ, when he physically lands on the Mount of Olives and splits the Mount of Olives in two, in Jerusalem, and sets up his thousand-year reign, Jesus Christ does not come all the way down to earth during the rapture. He only comes down part way – according to the Apostle Paul – to meet us and take us to heaven, where we will remain with him until we join him, coming to earth at the Second Coming. The key, the scriptures tell us, is that “we shall always be with the Lord.” Christ will never leave nor forsake us. To the contrary, we will always be at his side, always worshiping him for who he is and what he has done for us (v. 17).
We learn more about the details of the rapture in the Apostle Paul’s next chapter to the church in Thessalonica.
Consider these verses from 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11:
Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober. For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night. But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him. Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.
Notably, in this passage, we learn several things. We learn that The Lord isn’t going to tell us the specific time when the Rapture will occur (v. 1). Rather, the moment will be “just like a thief in the night”—that is, it will come at a time when unbelievers will be surprised because they are not paying attention (v. 2). They don’t know the scriptures and they’re not looking for the rapture.
Indeed, Paul indicates that when unbelievers are saying, “Peace and safety!” then the Rapture will occur, and destruction (judgment) will follow – and all this will come upon the world “suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape” (v. 3).
Thus, while we don’t know exactly when or how the Rapture will occur, it seems to come not specifically during a time of intense “contraction” (major wars, terrorist attacks, global health pandemics, plagues, etc.), It’s going to come at a time when things seem to be released, when things seem to the non-Christian world to be relatively more peaceful and safe than they had previously been (v. 3).
This means that the Rapture cannot take place during the Tribulation, because no one in their right mind could possibly describe any moment during that 7-year period of apocalyptic wars and natural disasters and persecution and Divine Judgment as a time of “peace” or “safety” (v. 3).
Paul writes that believers are not supposed to be caught off guard by the Rapture but are to remain “alert and sober” (vv. 4-8).
What’s more, the Rapture is meant to encourage believers, not discourage, not confuse, not alienate or divide. It’s supposed to encourage believers. After all, Paul tells us that because we know the Rapture will occur and that the true Church will be rescued and removed from the world before the Great Tribulation begins, before the Antichrist emerges and conquers the world, because we know that as believers, we are to “encourage one another and build one another up” (v. 11) in the hope that even though terrible judgments are coming, those of us who are followers of Jesus Christ are truly born again won’t experience those things if we’ve come to Christ before the rapture happens.
Do other scriptures shed light on the Rapture?
Do other New Testament passages shed more light on the Rapture?
Absolutely.
In John 14:1-6, the Lord Jesus, in a conversation with his disciples, said this:
“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.”
Now, you’ll recall from the scripture that Thomas said to Jesus, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?”
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
Here in this passage in John 14, Jesus Christ promised – Jesus the Messiah promised – to leave earth to prepare heaven for our arrival, and then He promises to come back from heaven and to get us and take us to heaven.
Therefore, we are not to worry or let our hearts be troubled, because He will eventually come and rescue His church from the troubles of this world.
In 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, the Apostle Paul writes this: “Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.”
When Paul says, “We will not all sleep,” he means that not all believers will physically die. In other words, there will be a moment in history where believers don’t die physically but will all be changed. That is, all believers at that moment, while they won’t physically die, they will be spiritually transformed. Now before that, some will die physically, but they will be resurrected from the dead and given new immortal bodies. That’s what we know from the scriptures.
But at this moment in history, whatever that moment is, whenever the rapture is going to occur, believers will not die physically, but they will be changed in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, meaning just a blink, a split second. During the rapture, they will meet Jesus in the air and they will be given new immortal, resurrected bodies.
Examples in the Bible of People Who Were Raptured
When I think about the rapture, I’m intrigued that the Lord is actually giving us at least two examples of people who were raptured, in a sense, in the Old Testament.
In the book of Genesis, for example, we learn about a righteous servant of the Lord named Enoch.
The Bible tells us that “Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him” (Genesis 5:24). That’s an interesting passage, right? Because Enoch obeyed the word of the Lord. He was living a righteous life by God’s grace while living his physical life on earth. But the Lord then decides that rather than requiring Enoch to die physically beforegoing to heaven, God would simply snatch Enoch away while he was still physically alive.
The Book of Hebrews actually confirms this interpretation: “By faith Enoch was taken up so that he would not see death; and he was not found because God took him up; for he obtained the witness that before his being taken up he was pleasing to God” (Hebrews 11:5).
Enoch was the first, but he wasn’t the last. In the Book of 2 Kings, we read about the Hebrew prophet Elijah. The Lord was so pleased with Elijah that, as you’ll recall, He sent a chariot of fire to whisk the prophet away to heaven while Elijah was still physically alive and walking alongside his young protégé, Elisha.
“As they were going along and talking, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire which separated the two of them, and Elijah went up by a whirlwind to heaven. Elisha saw it and cried out, ‘My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and its horsemen!’ And he saw Elijah no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces. He also took up the mantle of Elijah that fell from him and returned and stood by the bank of the Jordan” (2 Kings 2:11-13).
The text goes on to tell us that fifty Israelites, among the prophets, then proceeded to search for the living Elijah – or at least his dead body – for three full days, but they were unable to find him. Why? Because Elijah had not simply been moved to another location by the Lord. Elijah had not physically died. He hadn’t stumbled. He wasn’t wounded. Elijah had become the second person in the Bible to be raptured.
Now, in Acts, Chapter 1, we see another type of rapture, as Jesus Himself is caught up from earth into heaven.
And after He had said these things, He [Jesus] was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. They also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:9-11)
Can you imagine that? One moment Jesus was talking to his disciples on the Mount of Olives, right there in Jerusalem, where I get the joy of living. And the next moment Jesus was floating up to heaven through the clouds. And someday soon, true followers of Jesus will experience something very similar. That’s what the Bible says.
Now, not every Christian has studied these scriptures about the rapture. Not every Christian understands them. Not every Christian believes them. Nevertheless, the Bible teaches us that every single person who has received the free gift of forgiveness and salvation through faith in Jesus the Messiah, and who is physically alive when the Lord sovereignly decides that the moment has come, they will each be caught up from the earth to meet Jesus in the air.
Are you ready?
Are you ready for such a moment?
The question is not whether the Rapture will occur. Bible prophecy tells that it will, and of this, we can be certain.
The real question is whether you will be spiritually ready to meet Jesus the Messiah face-to-face when it happens and whether you’ll be caught up in the air with him and all believers, or whether you will not be ready because you haven’t come to faith in Jesus, you’re not born again, and have to remain on earth to face the horrors of judgment and global chaos that are described in the prophecies of the Book of Revelation, during this period of time that Jesus called the “Great Tribulation.”… A horrible time.
Now, can you come to faith in Jesus after the rapture if you’re not saved? Yes. That’s something we’ll talk about in a different Bible Prophecy Project video. But I want to be clear with you as we finish. If you’re not 100% certain at this point in your life that your sins truly are forgiven and that your soul is saved, and that you will go to heaven, whether you face natural death or rapture, then can I encourage you to read the following verses and receive Jesus as your Messiah and Lord right now?
In John 3:3, the Lord Jesus told a religious leader who came to him seeking spiritual guidance: “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” One’s physical birth into a religious family, Jesus was saying, is not enough to go to heaven. It’s not enough just to be Jewish. It’s not enough just to be in Israel. It’s notenough to be a very religious person, even. Even a very good person. Something else has to happen on the inside of you.
And as you read the New Testament, it becomes clear that “born again” is not a term that Christians came up with. It’s a biblical term, and it refers to a person who is:
1) is fully convinced that faith in Jesus as Messiah, that his death on the cross, his resurrection from the dead on the third day, is the only way to be forgiven of one’s sins and adopted into God’s family.
2) a person who has consciously, willfully, and purposefully repented, turned away from his or her sins, and asked God through prayer to wash his or her sins away and save him through the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross, Jesus the Messiah.
In John 1:12, we learn that “as many as received Him [Jesus the Messiah], to them He gave the right to become children of God.”
I love that verse because it really talks about us becoming his children, not just his servants, but being adopted into God’s family if we place our faith in Jesus. Jesus himself said in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish [die and go to hell forever and ever with no way of escape] but shall have eternal life.”
In Romans 10:9-10, the Apostle Paul explains how to be born again: “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”
Then, in 2 Corinthians 5:17-18, Paul tells us the result of being born again: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.”
In Revelation 3:20, Jesus encourages you to make this decision immediately and not to refuse him or shut him out of your life any longer. “Behold, I [Jesus] stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.”

Here is a suggested prayer that has been helpful to many people all over the world – including myself – in becoming followers of Christ and in sharing the gospel with others. The key is not so much the precise words as the attitude of your heart.
Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me. Thank you for having a wonderful plan and purpose for my life. I need you today. I need you to forgive me for all of my sins.
I repent, Lord. With your help I turn away from my sins and turn to you, asking you to save me.
Thank you for dying on the cross to pay the penalty for all of my sins – past, present, and future. Thank you so much for rising again from the dead and so proving that you are the Way, the Truth, and the Life and the only way to get to The Father, the only way to get to eternal life, and heaven.
Lord Jesus, I open the door of my heart and my life, right now, to You. I receive you as my Savior and Lord and the King of my life.
Thank you, so much, for forgiving my sins and giving me the free gift of eternal life.
Please come in and change my life. Make me a new person. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit. Please take control of my life and make me the kind of person that you want me to be, so that I can serve you and please you and be with you forever and ever.

Now, I want to encourage you to find some people who also love Jesus and are his faithful followers and tell them what you have just done.
Allow them to rejoice with you, and ask them to help you find a good, solid, Bible-believing and Bible-teaching church, or congregation where you can begin attending.
Buy yourself a Bible. Start reading through the New Testament, beginning with the Gospel accounts that are written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and then, of course, the writings of the Apostle Paul.
Spend time every day reading the Bible, making notes, spending time with the Lord in prayer, and taking time to apply, carefully, everything you’re learning. Don’t be a hearer only. Don’t be a reader only. Be a doer of God’s Word.
Ask the Lord specifically to give you an older, wiser follower of Jesus Christ to begin discipling you – that is, to begin teaching you the Scriptures, answering your questions, praying with you, and encouraging you how to put into practice in your life all that the Lord teaches us through the Bible.
Also, choose three people who don’t know Jesus personally yet – who are not yet “born again” – and tell them what you’ve just discovered about God’s love and forgiveness and why you chose to receive Jesus Christ into your life and to become his follower.
Answer their questions as best you can. Invite them to come to church with you. Ask if they have a Bible and if they don’t, offer to go to a bookstore and help them pick out a Bible and begin studying and reading it on their own, or studying and reading it with you.
Now is not the time to keep the miracle that has just happened in your life to yourself – go tell people! And don’t stop at three, but start with three.
Tell as many people as will listen. Tell them lovingly and gently. Don’t force it down their throats, of course. But don’t be shy. People need to know these truths, and they need to make a choice one way or the other, just like you did.
Believe me, you don’t want to be left behind when the Rapture happens. And you don’t want your family or friends or neighbors to be left behind either to the judgments of God and the horrors of Satan.
The good news is that the Scriptures tell us clearly how to be born again, how to be adopted into God’s family, how to be spiritually safe in His kingdom – in His family – indeed, how to know with absolute certainty that we’re going to spend eternity with the Lord in heaven forever and ever.
And that, my friend, is the purpose and power of Bible prophecy.

Echoing the WHO’S PANDEMIC ASPIRATIONS, THE PACT SEEKS TO GIVE THE UN SECRETARY-GENERAL THE SOLE AUTHORITY TO OPERATIONALISE AN “EMERGENCY PLATFORM,” FOR ANY TYPE OF EMERGENCY HE DESIGNATES, TO DECIDE WHICH EMERGENCIES WARRANT THIS DECLARATION, TO DECIDE WHEN TO TRIGGER THIS AUTHORITY, AND TO DETERMINE HOW TO MANAGE THE EMERGENCY. 4. SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT TO BE AT THE CENTRE OF MULTILATERALISM (I.E., GLOBAL GOVERNANCE) AND AT THE CENTRE OF A NEW GLOBAL FINANCIAL ARCHITECTURE
While “development” was one of the original 3 pillars of the UN, sometimes listed as 4 pillars, THE PACT NOW CLAIMS THAT “SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT” IS ONE OF THE ESSENTIAL 3 PILLARS OF THE UN. [paragraph 9] This is a gross misrepresentation, because the term “SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT” IS USED INTERCHANGEABLY WITH THE AGENDA FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, AGENDA 2030 and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, none of which existed when the UN was founded, and they have an entirely different meaning than the general term “development.”
THE PACT CLAIMS THAT SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IS “A CENTRAL OBJECTIVE OF MULTILATERALISM” [paragraph 10] and furthermore, “WE WILL ACCELERATE REFORM OF THE INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL ARCHITECTURE to address the challenges of today and tomorrow … THE REFORM OF THE INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL ARCHITECTURE SHOULD PLACE THE 2030 AGENDA AT ITS CENTRE” [Action 50]. But the world’s citizens never voted to make AGENDA 2030 THE CENTREPIECE OF MULTILATERALISM, nor have they asked for the creation of a wholly new financial architecture, for which the UN lacks expertise and probably also lacks authority.
While the Pact acknowledges in paragraph 18 that “the achievement of the sustainable development goals is in peril. Progress on most of the goals is either moving too slowly or has regressed below the 2015 baseline,” paragraph 19 states that NATIONS ARE TO REAFFIRM THAT “THE 2030 AGENDA FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IS OUR OVERARCHING ROADMAP FOR ACHIEVING DEVELOPMENT …” Why would anyone, let alone the entire world, follow a roadmap that has failed to yield progress during the past 9 years?
5. SUSPICIOUS GOALS FOR HEALTH
THE PACT SPECIFICALLY DESIRES TO ENSURE UNIVERSAL ACCESS for sexual and reproductive health and FOR VACCINATIONS, but fails to make similar assurances for access to primary health care. [paragraphs 27 and 63]
6. REFERENCES TO MANY PRIOR AGREEMENTS, WITHOUT SPECIFYING WHAT IN THESE OTHER DOCUMENTS IS BEING REFERRED TO, MAKE THE PACT DELIBERATELY OBFUSCATORY
Several paragraphs are indecipherable, referring to up to 3 DIFFERENT PRIOR AGREEMENTS BUT FAILING TO SPECIFY WHAT PRECISELY IN THOSE AGREEMENTS IS BEING REFERRED TO. [paragraph 28 (a)]
THERE IS A USE OF LANGUAGE TO CONCEAL THE ACTUAL MEANING OF WHAT IS BEING DISCUSSED. For example, “Deliver on our agreed commitment to hold and REVERSE BIODIVERSITY LOSS BY 2030 AND IMPLEMENT ALL MULTILATERAL ENVIRONMENTAL AGREEMENTS.” THIS IS ACTUALLY A DEMAND TO APPROPRIATE PRIVATE LAND FOR THE NATURA 2000 AND 30 BY 30 INITIATIVES.
7. DOUBLETALK: THE UN WANTS TO HAVE IT BOTH WAYS AND HOPES WE DON’T NOTICE
THE UN USES DOUBLETALK, CALLING FOR CENSORSHIP AND FREE SPEECH AT THE SAME TIME. [paragraph 39(g)]
8. THE PACT ECHOES THE WHO’S BIOSECURITY AGENDA, AND LIKE THE WHO PANDEMIC TREATY AND IHR AMENDMENTS, INCLUDES BOTH CENSORSHIP OF INFORMATION AND THE NEED TO PROMOTE TRUST IN SCIENCE (WHICH ARE APPARENTLY NECESSARY ELEMENTS TO ACHIEVE GLOBAL CONTROL)
The Pact is in line with the WHO’S BIOSECURITY AGENDA [paragraph 48 (c)] and DESIRES TO BUILD “TRUST” IN SCIENCE [paragraph 54 (a)] harkening back to THE WHO’S COVID AGENDA, WHICH CONTROLLED AND CENSORED “THE SCIENCE” THE PUBLIC WAS ALLOWED TO HEAR.
9. OUTLANDISH ASPIRATIONS
SOME PACT ASPIRATIONS ARE FRANKLY OUTLANDISH, SUCH AS “ACHIEVE A WORLD IN WHICH HUMANITY LIVES IN HARMONY WITH NATURE.” [paragraph 29(a)]
Or, “WE BELIEVE THERE IS A PATH TO A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR ALL OF HUMANITY, including those living in poverty and vulnerable situations. Through the actions we take today, we resolve to set ourselves on that path, STRIVING FOR A WORLD THAT IS SAFE, PEACEFUL, JUST, EQUAL, INCLUSIVE, SUSTAINABLE AND PROSPEROUS, A WORLD IN WHICH HUMAN WELL-BEING, SECURITY AND DIGNITY AND A HEALTHY PLANET ARE ASSURED.” [paragraph 4]
10. HYPOCRISY
While the expressed aspiration is to end war crimes, use of starvation for war, genocide, crimes against humanity, etc., we hear little about meaningful UN actions in this regard, despite the continuing occurrence of such atrocities. [paragraph 35 (g,h)]
The Pact for the Future is an (5) OVERBLOWN, REPETITIVE, REDUNDANT, DISHONEST DOCUMENT. Unlike a normal treaty, it drowns us in generalities and tucks its few specifics into dark corners, relying on vague references to other documents to provide the actualities.
It asserts, without justification, that THE AGENDA FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT MUST BE AT THE CENTRE OF MULTILATERALISM AND AT THE CENTRE OF A WHOLLY NEW FINANCIAL ARCHITECTURE.
While replete with outlandish and vague aspirations and doubletalk, buried deep within the document is a frightening proposal first floated in the UN’s Policy Brief 2 of 2023.
This proposal seeks the agreement of the UN General Assembly (“UNGA”) to create an “EMERGENCY PLATFORM” WHICH WOULD BE ACTIVATED WHENEVER THE UN SECRETARY-GENERAL DECIDED THERE WAS A “GLOBAL SHOCK” OF ANY KIND AFFECTING MORE THAN ONE COUNTRY. This could be a climate emergency, supply chain emergency, pandemic or ‘BLACK SWAN’ EVENT.
THE SECRETARY-GENERAL AND THE “EMERGENCY PLATFORM” WOULD THEN TAKE OVER MANAGEMENT OF THE EMERGENCY, DECIDING WHEN TO INITIATE THEIR ACTIONS AND WHEN TO END THEM. There are NO standards specified in the Policy Brief or the Pact that would limit the UN’s actions in any way. There is no requirement for agreement by affected nation states, the UNGA or the Security Council.
THIS WOULD PROVIDE THE UN SECRETARY-GENERAL WITH MORE POWER THAN ANY HUMAN BEING HAS EVER HAD, TO DO WITH AS HE WISHES. While on the one hand, it is a preposterous and unjustified power grab and is unlike anything the UN has previously attempted, the UN and THE POWERS BEHIND THE UN ARE DEADLY SERIOUS ABOUT GAINING THIS GLOBAL AUTHORITY OVER THE ENTIRE WORLD.
The Pact is a dire threat to every nation, and it must be stopped.

WHAT IS THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB?
In his vision in Revelation 19:7–10, John saw and heard the heavenly multitudes praising God because the WEDDING FEAST OF THE LAMB—LITERALLY, THE “MARRIAGE SUPPER”—WAS ABOUT TO BEGIN. The concept of the marriage supper is better understood in light of the wedding customs in the time of Christ.
These wedding customs had three major parts. First, a marriage contract was signed by the parents of the bride and the bridegroom, and the parents of the bridegroom or the bridegroom himself would pay a dowry to the bride or her parents. This began what was called the betrothal period—what we would today call the engagement. This period was the one Joseph and Mary were in when she was found to be with child (Matthew 1:18; Luke 2:5).
The second step in the process usually occurred much later, when the bridegroom, accompanied by his male friends, went to the house of the bride. If he came in the night, he and his companions would create a torchlight parade through the streets. The bride would know in advance this was going to take place, and so she would be ready with her maidens, and they would all join the parade and end up at the bridegroom’s home. This custom is the basis of the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25:1–13. The third phase was the marriage supper itself, which might go on for days, as illustrated by the wedding at Cana in John 2:1–2.
What JOHN’S VISION IN REVELATION PICTURES IS THE WEDDING FEAST OF THE LAMB (JESUS CHRIST) AND HIS BRIDE (THE CHURCH) IN ITS THIRD PHASE. The implication is that the first two phases have already taken place. THE FIRST PHASE WAS COMPLETED ON EARTH WHEN EACH INDIVIDUAL BELIEVER PLACED HIS OR HER FAITH IN CHRIST AS SAVIOR. The dowry paid by the bridegroom’s parent (God the Father) would be the blood of Christ shed on the Bride’s behalf.
THE CHURCH ON EARTH TODAY, THEN, IS “BETROTHED” TO CHRIST, AND, LIKE THE WISE VIRGINS IN THE PARABLE, ALL BELIEVERS SHOULD BE WATCHING AND WAITING FOR THE APPEARANCE OF THE BRIDEGROOM (THE RAPTURE).
THE SECOND PHASE SYMBOLIZES THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH, WHEN CHRIST COMES TO CLAIM HIS BRIDE AND TAKE HER TO THE FATHER’S HOUSE. THE MARRIAGE SUPPER THEN FOLLOWS AS THE THIRD AND FINAL STEP. THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB TAKES PLACE IN HEAVEN BETWEEN THE RAPTURE AND THE SECOND COMING (DURING THE TRIBULATION ON EARTH).
Attending the wedding feast will be not only the Church as the Bride of Christ, but others as well. The “others” include the Old Testament saints—they will not have been resurrected yet, but their souls/spirits will be in heaven with us. As the angel told John to write, “Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb” (Revelation 19:9). The marriage supper of the Lamb is a glorious celebration of all who are in Christ!
