I realize that this is a lot to process, and so let it sink in for a moment.

Is it just a coincidence that the first solar eclipse of 2024 just happened to fall on the very first day of the very first month on the Hebrew calendar, and the second solar eclipse of 2024 just happens to fall on the day that is celebrated as “the Jewish New Year”?

Let me try to break all of this down one step at a time.

According to Daily Galaxy, on October 2nd we will witness “a stunning annular solar eclipse”…

A mesmerizing astronomical event is on the horizon as the Moon prepares to pass between the Earth and the Sun, creating a stunning annular solar eclipse.

This rare celestial occurrence, where the Moon is positioned just far enough from Earth to leave a brilliant ring of sunlight visible around its silhouette, promises to captivate skywatchers with its unique and dramatic display. Known as the “ring of fire,” this phenomenon offers a breathtaking view that differs significantly from a total solar eclipse, where the Sun is completely obscured.

So exactly what is an “annular solar eclipse”?

It is when the moon crosses the face of the sun but does not completely block it out.  When the moon is centered directly in front of the sun, a ring of sunlight is still visible around the moon, and that is why such an event is often called a “ring of fire” eclipse…

Annular eclipses are a very special type of solar eclipse. During an annular eclipse, the Moon is centered in front of the Sun but doesn’t completely obscure it, instead leaving a ring of sunlight visible around the Moon’s edges. This circle of light is called an annulus, or sometimes a “ring of fire.” Annular solar eclipses happen only when the Moon is at the furthest point from Earth in its orbit, making the Moon appear smaller than usual from the Earth’s perspective.

For those that are able to view this eclipse, it will truly be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

According to USA Today, the Moon will begin to cross the face of the Sun at 15:42 UTC…

• 15:42 UTC: Partial eclipse begins. A partial eclipse occurs when the moon, sun and Earth don’t perfectly align and only the outer shadow of the moon’s shadow is cast on the Earth.
• 16:50 UTC: Annular eclipse begins. An annular eclipse describes the moment the moon passes between the Earth and sun, creating the the illusion of a thin ring of sunlight around the moon.
• 18:45 UTC: Maximum eclipse beings. This happens when the moon completely covers the face of the sun.
• 20:39 UTC: Annular eclipse ends
• 21:47: Partial eclipse ends

15:42 UTC is 6:42 PM in Jerusalem.

On October 2nd, the sun will go down at 6:22 PM in Israel, and that is precisely when the festival of Rosh Hashanah will start.

So when this eclipse begins, the festival of Rosh Hashanah will have just commenced.

During the fall festivals last year, the current war in the Middle East began when Hamas terrorists attacked Israel on October 7th, 2023.

Will something unusual also happen during the fall festivals this year?

We will just have to wait and see what happens.

Unlike the “Great American Eclipse of 2024”, the eclipse on October 2nd will not be visible in the continental United States.

According to Forbes, the best place to view it will be on Easter Island…

The place to be for that will be Easter Island, also called Rapa Nui, where eclipse-hunters will hope for clear skies while touring the mysterious stone monolithic human figures called moai that date from the thirteenth century.

Many people out there are entirely convinced that the solar eclipses of 2024 are just completely random events that have no significance whatsoever

And I can certainly understand why they would choose to see things that way.

But Jesus did specifically warn us that “there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars” in the last days, and in order to have a solar eclipse the sun and the moon must both be involved.

Here in 2024, we have already witnessed a solar eclipse on the very first day of the very first month on the Biblical calendar, and now we are going to witness a solar eclipse on the very first day of the seventh month on the Biblical calendar which is considered to be “the Jewish New Year”.

If that is just a coincidence, it is a really, really bizarre one.

Could it be possible that someone is trying to get our attention?

Could it be possible that this year is being “marked” for some reason?

My regular readers already know how I feel, because I have been writing about this stuff for a long time.

In Genesis chapter 1, God specifically stated that one of the reasons why He was creating the sun and the moon was because He planned to use them as “signs”.

We have seen this all throughout history, and now I am convinced that this year on His calendar is being “marked” for a purpose.

So buckle up and hold on tight, because I have a feeling that the chaos that we have seen so far will be nothing compared to the chaos that is coming.

Tens of thousands of Burning Man 2024 participants faced delays of up to ten hours getting off-site after a vicious dust storm reduced visibility to barely five feet on the last day of the infamous desert festival.

Billowing plumes of grit and sand kept drivers from inching along at more than a glacial pace on Monday, SFGate reports, with winds blowing hard and fast enough for the dust to sting the skin of any attendees unfortunate enough to have gone bare-legged. The storm apparently started up on Friday night before gathering steadily over the weekend.

Bad weather had already once threatened to turn the festival into a rerun of the horror show that engulfed last year’s event, with around 12 hours of non-stop rain forcing organizers to briefly close their gates before things had even kicked off on Aug. 25.

The deluge was swiftly followed by tragedy when a festival participant died mere hours into the first day. The woman has since been identified as 39-year-old Kendra Frazer, from Seattle, though no cause of death has been officially reported and it could be months before toxicology reports are concluded.

In the meantime, local police have announced the arrest of several Burners for drug-related activity, including Samer Naouri, who faces further charges of kidnapping, abduction and false imprisonment, though it isn’t clear at this stage if the latter alleged offenses took place at the festival itself or elsewhere.

Some participants have apparently also been fined tens of thousands of dollars by an undercover sting operation targeting Burners who charged others for a lift to the festival, many of whom claim to have been unaware that offering rides for cash without the proper permits is illegal under Nevada law.

Other reports suggest up to 2,600 festival goers had this year shelled out for temporary medevac coverage, perhaps a prudent move given a woman is understood to have fallen around 20 feet from a climbable work of festival art designed to look like a sinking ship.

That’s after a similar raft of controversies at last year’s festival—which included a drug-related death, false rumors of an Ebola outbreak, torrential downpours and reports of general mud-related chaos that even reached the president’s office—had seen this year’s event fail to sell out for the first time in over a decade.

He said as conditions are “ripe” for wildfires to spread, members of the public are urged to follow their local fire restrictions and avoid outdoor activities that can cause sparks.

This happens near dry vegetation, including yard work, target shooting or even campfires.

Drivers leaving Burning Man have been encouraged to “triple-check” their load and trailer for loose items before they leave the desert for the pavement.

Average travel time to leave the event was around three hours as of Monday morning, according to several posts on X.

One recent tweet read: “Average travel time for Greeters to Black top is 5h 50m.

“All lanes are designated outbound early. The speed limit is 5mph.”

According to NWS, the area will have lows around 53 degrees Monday night with wind gusts between 10 and 15 miles per hour, with the strongest hitting around 30 miles per hour.

In the day Reno is expected to hit templates of around 90 degrees.

As discussed, the concept of societal collapse often conjures images of terrifying post-apocalyptic wastelands depicted in popular culture, yet realistic scenarios are generally less sensational but nonetheless potentially quite devastating.

Are you ready and prepared for the worst? For the end of the world? It might seem absurd to some, but the Covid-19 pandemic showed us all that having some emergency supplies on hand is not a bad idea.

There is one group that seems to be years ahead of the rest of the population in this area are the ‘preppers’, who emerged in the mid-20th century in the United States, in the midst of the Cold War.

Many attempts to destroy the planet

Since then, events such as the Y2K, 9/11, avian flu, Ebola, the pandemic, the nuclear threat or global warming have served to reinforce their idea of the advent of an end of the world that, whatever it may be, continues to be delayed event after event.

An example of organization

However, if something can be learned from preppers, it is their organizational skills, their methodology and, above all, their shopping list for the end of the world.

Your last shopping list

To ordinary mortals, the weekly shopping list already seems like an ordeal, in which no matter how few products there are, some are always forgotten.

Decades preparing the purchase

It goes without saying that with a shopping list to face the apocalypse, it is more than certain that some product essential for survival would be left pending.

The recent example of shame

Moreover, everyone remembers that, in the midst of a pandemic and with the world blocked and paralyzed, the obsession of millions of people around the planet was to buy toilet paper that, to this day, some have not used up.

This being the case, it doesn’t hurt to take ideas from a group that has been preparing for the end of the world for more than 60 years and copy a shopping list that they have not only been updating and adapting to our days, but in many cases items they have purchased and stored in underground bunkers.

Perfect for living in an environment similar to that of ‘Mad Max’. Legumes, cereals, fish or vegetables are the most advisable.

Freeze dried foods

Cookies that are not missing

Another item that cannot be missing from the end of the world shopping list are cookies, jams, spreads, chocolates and the like. Easy to store and long lasting.

Nuts, essential

Nuts and toasted bread are two foods that also last a long time without losing too many properties and that should have a place on your post-apocalypse shopping list.

As if you were going to the gym

Food supplements like those taken by gym rats should not be missing from your shopping basket either. Vitamins, minerals, soy and whey protein isolates are some examples.

Water is the most important

The big problem that any post-apocalyptic scenario is access to drinking water. For this reason, water purification tablets are essential.

Oil, a necessary luxury

Along with water, it is also advisable to store milk that provides hydration to the body but also other types of nutrients. And the same goes for oil, which should not be missing in your bunker.

And for dessert, cheese

Cheeses, especially cured ones, are also a good option, since their nutrients are highly concentrated and their format allows for prolonged conservation over time.
