US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Thursday he still hoped to seal a normalization deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia before President Joe Biden steps down in January.
“I think if we can get a ceasefire Gaza, there remains an opportunity through the balance of this administration to move forward on normalization,” he told a news conference in Haiti.

Saudi Arabia and the United States are working closely on a series of agreements including strengthening US-Saudi strategic partnerships and military agreements, bolstering economic ties and normalization of relations between the Kingdom and Israel leading to a credible pathway for an independent Palestinian state.
“While we came very close and are very close on very important elements of this agreement, it is important that we finalize all of it together, and with that we would have a history making agreement between the US and Saudi,” Michael Ratney, the US ambassador to Saudi Arabia, said in an interview with Saudi pan-Arab publication Asharq Al-Awsat.
While Ratney did not mention a specific timeframe on finalizing the package of agreements, he said for Washington and Riyadh, “we wish we could do it tomorrow.”
“We are in a complicated region and there are a lot of complexities to the agreement itself, but we will do it as quickly as possible,” the US ambassador said.
White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan had a series of meetings in May with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman regarding an almost “finalized” draft of a deal between Washington and Riyadh, the Saudi Press Agency reported at the time.
Improved defense ties
Earlier this month, the US reaffirmed its decision to resume offensive weapons sales to Saudi Arabia as a result of improved ties especially with Saudi diplomatic efforts to prevent the war in Yemen and maintain a truce.
Al Arabiya English previously reported on the move to resume weapons sales to Saudi Arabia, citing sources familiar with the matter, which will include “significant” arms.
“Saudi Arabia remains a critical security partner for the United States, particularly at a time of high regional instability,” a senior administration official said in a statement to Al Arabiya English.
The US policy change comes as Washington and Riyadh work to expand their strategic partnership in reflection of changing circumstances in the region.
“Saudi Arabia has invested heavily in a diplomatic effort to stop the war in Yemen and maintain a calm and mitigation of civilian harm if there were a military conflict again,” Ratney said.
“The circumstances have changed; the partnership has grown and with that naturally comes changes in our own approach.”
The US ambassador also highlighted Washington’s commitment to security in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East as the threat of the Israel-Hamas war spilling into a wider regional conflict looms with a sharp rise in Houthi attacks since the war began in October last year.
He said the US is committed to keeping the presence of its navy and military in the Gulf of Aden and Red Sea to deter any Houthi attacks.
“We do this because freedom of navigation is this part of the world is profoundly important and our commitment to the security of Saudi Arabia and this entire region is paramount,” Ratney said.
‘Same end goal’
According to Ratney, the US and Saudi Arabia share the same end goal of creating a two-state solution that enables an independent Palestinian state alongside the state of Israel.

He said: “We fundamentally believe that Palestinian statehood needs to come through a political process, through negotiations between the parties, not from through any other means.”
“In the meantime, the deep priority is to stop the violence in Gaza, to stop the misery of the people of Gaza, to move forward with our efforts toward a ceasefire, to release Israeli hostages, and to end this conflict to find ways to deliver much-needed humanitarian assistance in Gaza,” he added.
US-Saudi economic ties
The transformation of Saudi Arabia’s economy in the recent years has created unique opportunities for US businesses to invest in the Kingdom to strengthen economic ties.
“We are now working with the Saudi government and Saudi companies in areas that we would not have imagined in the past, for example, space exploration for commercial purposes,” the US ambassador said. “The Kingdom has huge ambitions in the commercial space, and we as companies want to be there with them.”
The economic partnership between the US and Saudi Arabia – which started through oil – now looks beyond fossil fuels, according to Ratney, who highlighted the Kingdom’s heavy investment in various non-oil sectors.
“Along with healthcare, infrastructure, advanced technology, and artificial intelligence, there are tremendous opportunities as the Saudi economy grows and diversifies, and new US companies are brought in.”
US ‘VERY CLOSE’ TO BILATERAL DEAL WITH SAUDI ARABIA AS PART OF ISRAEL NORMALIZATION

The US said on Thursday that it was “very close” to reaching an agreement on the bilateral piece of a potential package deal with Saudi Arabia, which would need to include normalization with Israel.
“The Secretary did meet with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia this week when he was in Riyadh… and we are very close to reaching an agreement on the bilateral pieces of a normalization agreement,” State Department Spokesman Matt Miller said after the top US diplomat’s weekend trip to Saudi Arabia.
However, as Miller alluded to, Saudi Arabia has been adamant that any potential agreement would need to include an irreversible, irrevocable pathway to a Palestinian state.
As part of this larger deal, there are bilateral agreements between the US and Saudi Arabia, which are being worked on to include a defense pact, cooperation in artificial intelligence fields as well as Riyadh’s civilian nuclear program.
“There are a few details that we have to continue to work through, but we think we can reach agreement on those details in very short order,” Miller told reporters during a briefing. He added that there was still more work to be done on a separate piece: the proposal for a pathway to a Palestinian state and security guarantees for Israel.
Israel, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has repeatedly objected to the formation of a Palestinian state.
Miller said the broader deal would only go through with all the agreements in line.
He also referred to Saudi Arabia’s stance on Palestinian statehood and that there would be no agreement while the Gaza war is still raging.
“Saudi Arabia has made it very clear that as part of any normalization deal with Israel, they have two requirements: 1) Calm in Gaza and 2) a path to an independent Palestinian state,” Miller said.
The State Department spokesman stated that a normalization deal would be the right thing to do for Palestinians as well as for Israel’s long-term goal of normal relations with its neighbors. “It would isolate Iran, and, significantly, it would address some very real challenges Israel is going to face in Gaza when you look at the end of this conflict with figuring out how to rebuild Gaza, with figuring out how to provide security to Gaza,” he said.
“So ultimately, the government of Israel will have to make the choice about what’s in the best interest of their people.
“But for the United States, we’re going to work to finish up the proposals that we are working on with our Arab partners, and we’re going to put that point of view forward, and Israel can decide.”

From NEOM BABYLON and the Red Sea to Qiddiya and Diriyah, the large-scale projects announced have garnered international headlines for their forward-thinking, diverse, and sustainable structure.

Satan has always sought to separate people from the Lord and His governance. He was successful in accomplishing his goal when, in the Garden of Eden, Eve fell victim to the serpent’s seduction and then Adam willfully joined her, believing Satan rather than the Lord.
God then promised the supernatural seed through humankind that would eventually produce a Savior who would ultimately destroy the serpent and overcome his great lie that separated God and man. Jesus is the only Way to forgiveness of sin, which separates humans from God. This is what is meant by the first Scripture I and many other young children learned in Sunday school:

Paul foretold in the 2 Thessalonians 2 account that THE “LIE” THE ANTICHRIST REGIME WILL IMPOSE UPON THOSE LEFT BEHIND ON EARTH AFTER THE CHURCH IS TAKEN TO BE WITH CHRIST FOREVER WILL INVOLVE THE REFUSAL TO BELIEVE “THE TRUTH.” THEY WILL REJECT GOD’S WAY TO REDEMPTION. THEY WILL DENY THAT JESUS CHRIST—THE TRUTH—IS THE WAY TO SALVATION.
The “lie,” then, will be wrapped up in a grand deception that says Christ didn’t truly come in human flesh—Jewish flesh, as a matter of fact—to die for our sins. This, after all, is the “SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST” John warned of:
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: AND EVERY SPIRIT THAT CONFESSETH NOT THAT JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH IS NOT OF GOD: AND THIS IS THAT SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST, WHEREOF YE HAVE HEARD THAT IT SHOULD COME; AND EVEN NOW ALREADY IS IT IN THE WORLD. The groundwork is being laid today for the “lie” that will doom much of the world’s population after the Rapture. The lie will have to be part of a fearful crisis of some sort. THE DISAPPEARANCE OF MILLIONS WILL CERTAINLY PROVIDE A CRISIS THAT WILL HAVE THE ATTENTION OF THE PEOPLES OF THE WORLD. ANY LEADER WHO CAN ANSWER THE QUESTION OF WHAT ON EARTH HAS HAPPENED WILL GET INSTANT ADULATION FROM A PANICKED WORLD.

As mentioned above, the earth is being prepared, I’m convinced, for just such an answer as the Antichrist will concoct. We have been given a taste of that preparation taking place for quite some time. A news story from the year 2010, for example, gave more than an inkling of the groundwork being laid for that “lie”:

It is often said the DISCOVERY OF OTHER CIVILIZATIONS WOULD SHATTER WORLD RELIGIONS. Delegates were not so sure. Professor Ted Peters, a theologian, briefed the meeting on some survey results that suggested that rather than undermine religious beliefs—whatever the faith—it would strengthen them, by making God’s creation seem even bigger and more wonderful.
Not everyone agreed. British physicist Paul Davies thought Christians would have a problem, given the central belief that Jesus died to save us. If we discover other civilizations, it would raise the awkward question:
The “lie” of 2 Thessalonians 2 could well bring into its orbit and make totally believable 1) universalism—the belief that all people are God’s children and there are many ways to salvation; and 2) the notion that Jesus Christ couldn’t have been the Savior, or else He would have to die on other worlds for those inhabitants and for others in other universes.

Commentary: Satan’s five (5) “I WILLS,” have his evil fingerprints over everything evil in the book of Revelation. His desire to counterfeit everything that God accomplished through his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, is manifested in the Babylonian system (compared to heaven), Babylonian City (compared to New, Heavenly Jerusalem), Babylonian False Mystery Religion (compared to the true worship of God/ Jesus Christ), beast/antichrist (compared to Jesus Christ), false prophet (compared to John the Baptist), lake of fire death (compared to eternal life through Jesus Christ). Satan is the consummate ‘puppet master’, pulling the strings of the beast/antichrist and the false prophet to deceive mankind with his false, evil promises compared to the truth of salvation provided and offered by Jesus Christ.

Revelation 13:4 And THEY WORSHIPPED THE DRAGON WHICH GAVE POWER UNTO THE BEAST: AND THEY WORSHIPPED THE BEAST, saying, Who is like unto THE BEAST? who is able to make war with him?
Let us consider the five “I WILLS” of Lucifer as found in Isaiah 14:1314:
. . . “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most high. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” (Isaiah 14:12-15).
1) “I WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN.” Lucifer wanted to mount up or scale to the heavens. He desired to occupy the highest heavens: to probe, and to penetrate the kingdom of the infinite God. He wanted to have a very HIGH position!
2) “I WILL EXALT MY THRONE ABOVE THE STARS OF GOD.” Lucifer’s position and service before God’s throne was not enough. He wanted a throne from which he could exercise final authority and make decisions pertaining to the angelic host (“the stars of God”). He wanted to rule over all the angels. God had made him an exalted angel, but Lucifer wanted to be exalted even more. (He was not content to shine as the “morning star”; he wanted to shine as the star of stars–with a brilliance that would far outshine all the other stars (even as the sun’s brightness makes all the other stars fade away so that you cannot even see them during daylight hours).
3) “I WILL SIT ALSO UPON THE MOUNT OF THE CONGREGATION.” He desired to sit or be enthroned in the highest place having all the angelic assemblies in submission to him. He wanted to be the center of attention. He wanted to be IDOLIZED by all.
4) “I WILL ASCEND ABOVE THE HEIGHTS OF THE CLOUDS.” “Clouds” are often used in the Bible to speak of the glory of God (see Matthew 24:30; Acts 1:9; Rev. 1:7). Lucifer coveted God’s glory for his own. He failed to acknowledge that his glory and beauty all came from and was dependent upon God. In his sinful pride, Lucifer wanted a glory that would impress and dazzle all creatures.
5) “I WILL BE LIKE THE MOST HIGH.” He wanted to be EQUAL with God and to take God’s place as Possessor and Ruler of all. He wanted to become a completely independent creature, responsible to no one.
SIX (6) RESULTS OF ‘PRIDE’: SIX (6) IS THE NUMBER OF IMPERFECTION OR EVIL MAN’KIND.
• Pride causes us to put self on the throne instead of Christ our Savior.
• Pride causes us to not own our sin, nor be broken over it and the damage it causes others in and out of the church.
• Pride keeps us from apologizing to those we have offended.
• Pride keeps us from authentic biblical repentance and restoration.
• Pride is deadly to our personal and spiritual life, and to the life of the church.
• Pride is as ancient as the fall of Satan, and is still one of his favorite tools. “Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” –Proverbs 16:18
“Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
‘ALLAH’ IS NOT THE FATHER, SON OR HOLY SPIRIT. MUSLIMS DENY THE HOLY TRINITY AND DENY JESUS CHRIST’S DIVINITY. THEY DENY JESUS CHRIST’S FREE OFFER OF FORGIVENESS OF THEIR SINS, THROUGH THE SHEDDING OF HIS BLOOD AND HIS RESURRECTION. THEY EVEN DENY HIS RESURRECTION. ISLAM DENY’S THE MAIN TENETS AND DOCTRINES OF THE HOLY WORD OF GOD, THE PURPOSE OF JESUS CHRIST’S MINISTRY AND THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Those who ‘worship the dragon and beast’ are completely deceived by the world and Satan’s machinations and lies. DO NOT BE DECIEVED!!! ‘ALLAH’ IS NOT GOD. THE DRAGON IS THE FATHER OF (5) LIES, DECEIT, TRICKERY, DEATH AND DESTRUCTION.

C. Call upon His name, Confess (7) with your heart and with your lips (7) that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.
