AS YOU SEE ALL THESE THINGS COME TO PASS:  Meteorologist warns of global ‘weather wars’ after Dubai floods

The Land, Vomiting Out It’s Inhabitants

‘Vomiting’ is a metaphor for violently expelling, discharging, removing, eradicating, forcing out or ‘getting rid of’. Because of ‘sin’ and ‘abominations’ that cause the Lord God disgust, he will remove the people or nations from the lands they were/are given, because they did not keep his commandments, laws, or correct ways of living. ‘Vomiting’ describes something (sin, abominations) ‘vile’, ‘sick’, ‘poisonous’, ‘deadly’, ‘disgusting’, ‘gross’, ‘evil’, ‘reprobate’, ‘foul’, ‘loathsome’, ‘reprehensible’, ‘contamination’, ‘not pure’, ‘deathly,’ that which needs to be (forcefully) ‘eradicated’ or ‘removed’ from its present state or location.

God is referring to the ‘gross’ sin and ‘abominations’ occurring in the lands or locations he gave people. In lands of ‘milk and honey’ (wholesome, good things), the people who sin(ned) turn the land into something vile or putrid and offensive, and thus need to be cast out or ‘vomited out’ like a poison that has made the land sick.

The simple interpretation of the above scripture is this: The sins of the people defile the land, and God therefore punishes the land for their sins. But then the land refuses the punishment and therefore vomits out the perpetrators of such sins.

Leviticus 20:22 ‘You shall therefore keep all My statutes and all My judgments, and perform them, that the land where I am bringing you to dwell may not vomit you out.

Leviticus 18:24-30 “Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants. You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations, either any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you (for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and thus the land is defiled), lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you. For whoever commits any of these abominations, the persons who commit them shall be cut off from among their people. ‘Therefore you shall keep My ordinance, so that you do not commit any of these abominable customs which were committed before you, and that you do not defile yourselves by them: I am the LORD your God.’”

AS YOU SEE ALL THESE THINGS COME TO PASS:  Meteorologist warns of global ‘weather wars’ after Dubai floods

Story by James Reynolds Daily Mail April 19, 2024

A meteorologist has warned of looming ‘weather wars’ between countries if ‘cloud seeding’ gets out of hand – after flooding in Dubai spawned concerns about artificially manipulating the rainfall.

Johan Jaques, a senior meteorologist at environmental technology company KISTERS, warned there could be ‘unintended consequences’ to using the relatively young technology, potentially leading to ‘diplomatic instability’.

‘Any time we interfere with natural precipitation patterns, we set off a chain of events that we have little control over,’ he said.

‘Interference with the weather also raises all kinds of ethical questions, as changing the weather in one country could lead to perhaps unintended yet catastrophic impacts in another. After all, the weather does not recognise international borders.’

Extreme weather, and concerns about climate change and possible manipulation, have received attention in recent days with flooding in Dubai causing widespread disruption and damage to infrastructure.

The United Arab Emirates this week suffered horrendous floods which swamped the airport and many of the surrounding roads, forcing dozens of flights to be cancelled as travellers crammed into the concourse to shelter from the torrential downpour.

Videos shared on social media showed how cars were filled with water, forcing hundreds of motorists to abandon their vehicles and swim to safety.

The damage to the region was brought on by abrupt torrential rain, with more than 142mm falling on Dubai in just 24 hours – as much as the city would usually expect to see in a year.

The freak weather shift sparked concerns about cloud seeding, a process used since the 1940s by which planes equipped with specialised flares release salt into clouds to encourage rainfall.

While officials have denied the role of cloud seeding in this week’s floods, the UAE has used cloud-seeding to prompt rainfall since the 1990s.

Mr Jaques said that intense precipitation brought on by cloud seeding could lead to ‘excess flow, with potential flash floods as a result’, as reported by Newsweek.

‘The Dubai floods act as a stark warning of the unintended consequences we can unleash when we use such technology to alter the weather,’ he said.

‘Additionally, we have little control over the aftermath of cloud seeding. Where exactly is it going to be raining effectively?

‘Using techniques such as cloud seeding to bring much-needed rainfall in one area can cause flash floods and droughts in another.’

‘Anytime we interfere with natural precipitation patterns, we set off a chain of events that we have little control over,’ he added.

Ahmed Habib, a meteorologist at the UAE’s National Centre for Meteorology (NCM), told Bloomberg several cloud-seeding sorties were flown in the days before the unprecedented rainfall hit.

Speculation about the use of cloud seeding later caused the NCM to deny the operation had taken place on Tuesday in the hours before the storm – but said it was performed on Sunday and Monday.

Maarten Ambaum, a professor of atmospheric physics and dynamics at the University of Reading, suggested that while cloud seeding could be used to create rain, ‘you would not normally develop a very severe storm out of that’.

‘In the 50s and 60s, people still thought about using cloud seeding to produce these big weather events, or change these big weather events.

‘This [has] long been recognised as just not a realistic possibility.’

Giles Harrison, Professor of Atmospheric Physics at the University of Reading, said: ‘The UAE does do operational cloud seeding, but there is huge difference between what this can achieve – targeting individual, developing clouds with seeding material released from an aircraft – and the Dubai rainfall, which was associated with a large weather system advancing across the region.’

Experts also note the likely impact of climate change in bringing on the intense weather patterns in the UAE.

Dim Coumou, a professor in climate extremes at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, told Reuters: ‘Rainfall from thunderstorms, like the ones seen in UAE in recent days, sees a particular strong increase with warming.

‘This is because convection, which is the strong updraft in thunderstorms, strengthens in a warmer world.’

The rains in Dubai began late on Monday, soaking the sands and roadways of Dubai with some 0.79 inches of rain, according to meteorological data collected at Dubai International Airport.

The storms intensified at around 9am local time on Tuesday and continued throughout the day, dumping more rain and hail onto the overwhelmed city.

By the end of Tuesday, more than 5.59 inches of rainfall had soaked Dubai over 24 hours.

An average year sees 3.73 inches of rain at Dubai International Airport, the world’s busiest for international travel and a hub for the long-haul carrier Emirates.

Authorities cancelled school and the government instituted a work from home policy as the clean up operation continues.

Unprecedented Rains in Dubai: Over a Year’s Worth of Precipitation Floods City Life

Story by Zoe Wilson April 20, 2024

In what could be described as a climatic anomaly, Dubai has been inundated by torrential downpours, resulting in severe floods that have paralyzed the bustling metropolis famed for its skyscrapers and opulence. One-hundred millimeters, which is nearly 4 inches, of rain fell within only 12 hours on Tuesday, based on weather observations at the airport. This amount is about the same as what Dubai typically receives in a whole year, as per United Nations data. The extent of the flooding was so acute that it disrupted not just the day-to-day affairs of its citizens but also cast a shadow on significant international events.

The deluge brought about a standstill, with major highways and byways resembling rivers, and the world’s busiest airport for international travel halting arrivals. As the waters rose, they encroached on the taxiways, rendering the adjacent roads impassable and leaving travelers stranded. Floodwaters were not selective, permeating homes and compelling residents to engage in impromptu indoor aquatics to mitigate the ingress.

In an ironic twist, the city’s high-profile crypto conferences, TOKEN2049 and Blockchain Life, faced substantial logistical nightmares. An online poll conducted by TOKEN2049’s organizers humorously inquired about attendees’ preferred mode of transportation amidst the chaos, to which over 40% responded with “boat.” Despite the challenges, conference organizers remained steadfast in their resolve to proceed with the main events.

The city’s drainage infrastructure, scarcely designed for such extreme weather events due to the rarity of rain in the region, struggled to cope with the deluge. The emergency services, a beacon amidst the murky waters, were observed threading their way through the floods, their emergency lights the only illumination against the darkened, waterlogged roads.

Education and commerce were not spared, as schools closed their doors and businesses urged employees to work remotely. The metro services, a lifeline for many commuters, were also affected, revealing the depth of the city’s vulnerability to the elements.

This meteorological surprise has raised questions regarding the UAE’s reported cloud seeding operations conducted prior to the floods, leading to speculation on the role these might have played in exacerbating the situation. The heavy rainfall extended beyond Dubai’s borders, with neighboring countries such as Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia also experiencing uncharacteristic weather patterns, and Oman reporting 18 fatalities due to similar conditions.

People trying to drive into the center of Dubai on Wednesday were stuck on the city’s highway.

“The scary part is that there was nowhere you can go,” said Sofie, a Dubai resident who declined to provide a last name.Sofie was stuck outside her house for almost 12 hours, and she even had to sleep in her car because the nearby roads were flooded.

Make Your (7) Decision for Christ NOW!!!!!!! Time is Up!!!!!!!

Jesus Christ’s Offer of Salvation:

The ABCs (7) of Salvation through Jesus Christ (the Lamb)

  1. (7) Admit/Acknowledge/Accept that you are sinner. Ask (7) God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins.

. . . “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23).

. . . “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10).

. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8).

B. Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that (7) Jesus Christ is who He claimed to (7) be; that He was both fully God (7) and fully man and that we are (7) saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. (7) Put your trust in Him as your (7) only hope of salvation. Become a son (7) or daughter of God by receiving Christ. (7777777) 7×7

. . . “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:15-17). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).

C. Call upon His name, Confess (7) with your heart and with your lips (7) that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

. . . “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10).

. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (John 1:8-10).

. . . “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (John 2:2).

. . . “In this was manifested the love of god toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:9, 14-15).

. . . “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:8-10).

. . . “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23).

. . . “Jesus saith unto them, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6).

. . . “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.” (Romans 1:16).

. . . “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts: 4:12).

. . . “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 2:4-6).

. . . “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:9).

. . . “But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1:12).
