RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman sent his condolences to China’s President Xi Jinping and the victims of an earthquake that struck Gansu Province on Monday.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also sent a similar cable to the Chinese leader.
A number of houses caved in and crumbled in the quake, which has killed at least 134 people and injured more than 900 others.
Most of the casualties were in Gansu and the rest in the neighboring province of Qinghai.
Nearly 15,000 homes collapsed in Gansu and more than 87,000 people had to be resettled, provincial officials said at a Wednesday news conference.

As Jewish and Gentile believers, what should our response be to these blatant spiritual attacks, this rising tsunami against God’s people and His Word? We cannot just sit around and wait for the Rapture, right? What then is required of us? The Bible is far from being silent on this subject. While it prophesied these current events, it also asks the believer to be active and implicated providing a sound method to counteracting these things.
And one way to discover these means is to see how other believers, who were in similar situations, acted. We can examine how their faith and prayers moved God’s heart in a very powerful way so that great things happened to them in their lives. We will look at one of these men. His name is Daniel. He was so aware of the times he lived in and so in tune with the prophecies regarding his days. He responded accordingly and he moved many things around him.

This is what is recorded in chapter 10 of his book. Curiously enough, this chapter does not contain prophecies per se, but it is completely devoted to demonstrating how well-prepared Daniel was in facing the times of turmoil he was living in. In fact, chapter 10 of Daniel is like a manual for believers in the end times. There we find a perfect pattern of activity to follow for our own days. It will teach us how to make ourselves ready and to make a difference in this world. We can see how well-dressed Daniel was, with the armor of God so well described by Paul.

Let us open our Bible to Daniel 10:1-3 and read the opening verses which projects us into a difficult situation happening in Israel. In the third year of Cyrus, King of Persia, a message was revealed to Daniel, who was named Belteshazzar; and the message was true and one of great conflict, but he understood the message and had an understanding of the vision. In those days, I, Daniel, had been mourning for three entire weeks. I did not eat any tasty food, nor did meat or wine enter my mouth, nor did I use any ointment at all until the entire three weeks were completed.
In these opening verses, we are told that Daniel received a vision, a disturbing one of great conflict to come. However, this vision is given only later in Daniel 11 & 12. We are told in vs.14, that the vision pertains to the days yet future. And that brings us to our days right here and now. It especially addresses the events about the coming of the Antichrist and how he will invade the state of Israel. However, it was given only later and so we ask why Daniel was so disturbed even before receiving this vision? What did he know? What did he see?

The text helps answer these questions. First, we are given a specific reference of time; it was the third year of Cyrus, King of Persia. That was two years after a remnant from Babylon, a group of about 50,000 Jews, returned to Israel to begin the rebuilding of the Temple and of Jerusalem. The Book of Ezra begins this account by telling us that this return took place in the first year of Cyrus. So, while in the beginning all seemed to go well, as the first 3 chapters of Ezra recounts, by chapter 4, trouble arose from the neighbors of Israel, and those in the land started to disturb the ongoing work. We read in Ezra 4: 4-5: Then the people of the land discouraged the people of Judah, and frightened them from building, and hired counselors against them to frustrate their counsel. This was the news that Daniel was receiving from Israel, and this is what greatly disturbed and moved him and to pray, to mourn and to fast. He was aware of what was happening in the world. He followed the events in Israel and used this information as a platform of prayer.

Furthermore, look at the word understand repeated twice in Daniel 10:1. Daniel understood the message and had an understanding of the vision. But what exactly did Daniel understand? We know that not only was he following world events, but he also used prophecy to gauge what was happening. We know from the previous chapter that he understood that Israel needed to go back to the land. He said in vs.2 of chapter 9, I, Daniel, observed in the books the number of the years which was revealed as the word of the LORD to Jeremiah the prophet for the completion of the desolations of Jerusalem, namely, seventy (7) years. Daniel observed, the Hebrew word here is bina, the same word used in chapter 10 for understanding. Daniel came to understand the times he lived in because Scripture was his lamp of revelation. The Hebrew word bina, meaning to understand or observe, implies an intelligent search. It is defined as a special skill in the art of learning. Because Daniel studied prophecies, he was given to understand these things. So far, in these 3 verses we are shown a pattern to follow.

First, understand, read, and study the Scriptures, especially prophecies. Second, be aware of world events. Prophecies will help us understand and make sense of the world’s future trajectory. Third, act, pray, mourn, and fast, and be proactive.
The Ten Horns (Powers) or Kings of the Revived Roman Empire and the Caesar, Antichrist or Mahdi.
This sensitivity and reaction with mourning and prayer is the mark of a believer in God who has reached a high level of maturity. Jeremiah was another one of those who was deeply touched, who also wept over Jerusalem. He dearly loved the people who persecuted him, and understood the times he lived in. He too mourned and prayed. Paul is another man of faith. He also was so disturbed by what he saw with his own people, Israel, in the Diaspora. He saw them as the eventual victims of rising antisemitism in the world and even in his own day he had to defend how they were being rejected by some newly born churches. It must have weighed heavily for he knew the prophecies of the coming Tribulation and of the Antichrist as he wrote about this in the letters to the Thessalonians. It is beautiful to see what Paul prayed for concerning the believer. Paul said he did not cease to pray that they would be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, walking worthy of the Lord and being fruitful. Let us be filled with this knowledge so we do not sit empty just waiting for the Rapture.

Ten ‘10’ Denotes God’s divine ‘COMPLETENESS’ as to things on EARTH. In Revelation 10, he is opening up the ancient scrolls and ‘little book’ of prophecy that Daniel was told to ‘SEAL UP’ and not write of what was spoken. He was prophetically being told additional things that would transpire or occur ‘in the end of days’ and during the 7 year tribulation.
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the ‘time of the end’: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the ‘time of the end’.

(NWN; I ‘discern’ that these are seven ‘7’ other great prophecy angels who are ‘confirming’ that NOW IS THE TIME to OPEN DANIEL’S ‘END TIME’ Book of Future Prophecy.’)
4 And when the seven ‘7’ thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven ‘7’ thunders uttered, and write them not.
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

(NWN; The Great Prophecy Angel is proclaiming the ‘LAST DAYS or END TIMES’ have come, in no uncertain terms, and that NOW IS THE TIME to reveal prophecy related TO the Last Days or End Times and Tribulation.)
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh ‘7’ angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
(NWN; Seven ‘7’ denotes God’s divine completion to his plan or purpose for this ‘7th’ prophecy angel to commence and complete prophecy related to the Last Days and End Times. Think of the Great Prophecy Angel as a ‘General’ and the ‘7th’ prophecy angel as a Major or Colonel or someone of rank who has been given authority to physically ‘begin something or start something.’)
8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open (NWN; notice that the ‘little book’ is OPEN) in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
(NWN; the prophecy angel(s) are HANDING the little book to physically alive men on the earth. In essence, they are handing or ‘transferring’ the ‘little book of prophecy’ to physical men ALIVE on the EARTH during the ‘End Times’ or ‘Last Days.’ God conveys prophecy to Angels who in turn are ‘messengers’ of God’s prophecy to mortal men alive. Angels, throughout the past 6,000 years have been ‘messengers’ for God to mankind.)
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
(NWN; this is a ‘discernment’ on my part. ‘Take it and eat it’ is a spiritual ‘consumption’ of understanding the End Times and God’s related prophecies to go along with ‘signs of the times.’ It takes ‘7’ knowledge, wisdom, obedience, humility, persistence, prayer and the Holy Spirit’ to work prophecy in man’kind. This is a great and wonderful thing, just like a ‘7’ course meal. However, once the prophecies are apparent ‘consumed and understood’ they will be prone to make one sick to the stomach because of what they foretell. Just like eating a ’7’ course meal will likely make you feel like you could explode. God’s UNFILTERD WRATH poured on evil man’kind who refuse Him, and refuse His Son Jesus Christ and His eternal offer of salvation. Seeing prophecy happen and unfold is a wonderful and miraculous thing. Understanding the implications of seeing prophecy unfold, leaves one’s stomach bitter and sour because of the ‘gastrointestinal storm’ that is coming. Pass-the-antacid-pills, please.)
10 And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
(NWN; the prophecy angel was prophesying what would happen to anyone who attempted to reveal what was in the ‘little book.’ This verse ‘confirms’ that what was prophesied, did in fact occur and was experienced by those given the task of being Watchmen. This also ‘suggests’ that some men are ‘willingly’ allowing themselves to be Watchmen because they consciously love prophecy (God’s Word) and are completely open and receptive to it.)
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
(NWN; since this is verse ‘11’ it suggests a WARNING(S). The purpose of prophecy is to inform, proclaim and WARN. It suggests that the Watchmen who proclaim the Word of God, will have their ‘7’ words, letters, videos, blogs, sermons, articles and books proclaim God’s WILL to those during the End Times / Last Days and Tribulation period. God has ALWAYS used Holy Angels and physical men (Moses, Elijah, Daniel, Enoch, and others) to speak on behalf of God. He will do this also through the Tribulation via; 1. Prophecy revealed to mankind via his ‘little book’ to Watchmen, 2. The ‘two witnesses’, ‘lampstands’ or candles who proclaims God’s light to the world for the first 3.5 years of the tribulation, 3. The various Angel warnings given to men to NOT TAKE THE MARK of the BEAST and lastly, 4. The 144,000 Jewish Evangelists who have the ‘seal of God’ in their foreheads (and NOT the mark of the Beast) who proclaim Jesus Christ’s offer of Salvation ONE LAST TIME, before the 7 year tribulation ends.)

The infamous, “Mark of the Beast” and “number of his name is 666” imagery is no different than any of the other generalized, descriptive terms that John the Apostle used, while in his banishment on the Isle of Patmos. Rev. 13:17-18 is probably the most symbolic, well known and most poorly understood two verses in the book of Revelation, and in the entire Bible. “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred, threescore and six (666).” (Emphasis added).
(6) The Number of an Evil Man:
Verse 13:18 clearly states that 666 (6) is a number of a man … not a number of an angel, not a number of Satan (which is ‘5’), Devil, serpent or dragon, nor of any kind of reference to Babylon (city) or Mystery Babylon (false religion). The reference is literally to man (mankind), the beast/antichrist (a literal, physical man) and the false prophet (a literal, physical man). Each of them is judged to be extremely evil and each is therefore assigned a number of six (6) to represent the imperfection, sinfulness and evilness of man, before God. Combining the number of each type of man leads to 666, this (6) number represents the totality of evil, of the three men. ‘7’ The number three (3) denotes intensity and emphasis. The fact that the number six (6) is repeated three (3) times emphasizes the most intense evil that mankind, antichrist, and the false prophet (6) collectively possess during the tribulation period. Evil doesn’t come any worse, or more intensely than this. Period. When the bible states an important reference to someone or something, the word ‘7’ of God is very specific and literal. There should be no confusion. To understand why the number six (6) represents evil, Verse 13:18 (6) tells us to “count” his number
666 – The ‘Number’ of an Evil Man, Evil Beast and Evil False Prophet.
The ‘Rapture,’ ‘Harpazo’, ‘Catching Up’, ‘Twinkling-of-an-Eye’, ‘In a Moment’
“For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (or precede) them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17)
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.” (1 Thessalonians 5:9-11)
The message is as clear as it can possibly be. As clear as this message is, some have trouble understanding it, even today. Paul says that Lord will appear in the air, the dead in Christ will rise, those still living will rise right after, and we will then spend eternity with the Lord. Paul says the purpose of this revelation was to comfort believers facing hard times. What completes the theme is Paul’s exhortation at the end.
“Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1 Thessalonians 4:18)

… ‘twenty-four elders’ = A ‘select’ group of raptured/redeemed men who constitute part of God’s office of Government / Governance in Heaven.

Note; all the redeemed (past tense) men that make up the Raptured Church, from the ‘Age of Grace.’ These are NOT the ‘Tribulation Saints’ who are martyred, beheaded for their faith by the Beast / Antichrist, during the Tribulation on Earth.

12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Jesus Christ is (7) the ‘ONE’ worthy to open the SEALS:
Revelation 6 And I (7) saw when the Lamb opened one of (7) the seals, and I heard, as it (7) were the noise of thunder, one of (7) the four beasts saying, Come and see. (7777)
Revelation 6:2 And I saw, and (7) behold a white horse: and he that (7) sat on him had a bow; and (7) a crown was given unto him: and (7) he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (7777)
Commentary; the rider is the ‘beast’ or ‘antichrist’. His being clothed in white suggests ‘3’ false righteousness, false peace and false authority. He has a bow, but no arrows. He rules with lies and threats, but no military or arms. He conquers and subjugates, not with force but with ‘5’ lies, deception, false covenants and false agreements and false promises. He is the world’s greatest ‘political’ leader and deceiver. He is the one who ‘confirms the false covenant of seven years with Jacob’ which starts the tribulation. You should know now of who I speak. His ‘crown’ represents authority, rulership and position. It even literally represents his ‘position’ as Crown Prince, once the tribulation begins. My discernment is that the ‘white horse upon which he sits’ is symbolically a white Arabian stallion.
