Will Israel Soon Fulfill Prophecy And Turn Damascus Into A Pile Of Rubble?

As soon as Israel sends troops into Gaza, a chain of events will begin which nobody is going to be able to control. I believe that one of those events will be Hezbollah entering the conflict from the north. As I discussed yesterday, there is no way that Hezbollah is just going to sit there and watch Hamas get systematically wiped out by the IDF. Hezbollah is already mobilizing their forces and making preparations to join the fight. But if that happens, Israel is going to hit back extremely hard. In fact, there are reports that Israel has already warned Hezbollah that if it enters the war the Israelis will “destroy Damascus”…

Unfortunately, this threat has not caused Hezbollah to back down and Israeli jets attacked and disabled the airports in Damascus and Aleppo today. It is believed the airports were receiving arms shipments from Iran for local militia groups who are preparing to help Hezbollah. Fox News is reporting that the Israelis are now “actively fighting a secondary front along Israel’s northern border with Hezbollah in Lebanon”… Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus said Wednesday that the Israeli army shelled the Lebanese border town of Duhaira and the surrounding area where the missile attack came from. He also said Israel was actively fighting a secondary front along Israel’s northern border with Hezbollah in Lebanon, in addition to the counteroffensive the IDF is launching in the Gaza Strip.
“We have deployed tens of thousands of additional units along the northern border,” Conricus said, including infantry, special forces, armored forces, artillery, air forces, and “additional assets including intelligence and logistics.” Hezbollah has not formally entered the war yet. But I think that will likely happen very quickly once Israel invades Gaza.
So could Israel actually turn Damascus into a pile or rubble?
Chapter 17 in the Book of Isaiah paints a sobering picture. In it, the city of Damascus is a pile of rubble. The Bible says it will disappear from the face of the earth and become a heap of ruins (Isaiah 17:1). At the same time, large parts of northern Israel will also lie in ruin (Isaiah 17:3).
Now, before you say this prophecy was fulfilled during Old Testament times, keep this in mind… This passage says Damascus will cease to be a city (Isaiah 17:1). It will be utterly and completely destroyed. Yet, Damascus is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities on record. Its history goes back more than 5,000 years. At 2,600 years old, the Book of Isaiah itself is new compared to Damascus! This prophecy is yet to be fulfilled. How interesting is it that Israel has threatened to do exactly what the Bible predicts – destroy Damascus.
Just consider what the IDF is already doing to Gaza. We are being told that Gaza was hit by an astounding 250 airstrikes in a single hour… Pictures show neighborhoods in Gaza almost destroyed after Israel launched 250 airstrikes in just one hour. It comes after an Israeli defense official promise the strip will become a ‘tent city’ with every building to be demolished. The IDF is not messing around. One Israeli military official admitted that they are attacking “on an unprecedented scale”, and nobody can really argue with that fact… Brig. Gen. Omer Tishler, the Israel Air Force’s chief of staff, says fighter jets are striking the Gaza Strip on an “unprecedented scale.”
“We are attacking the Gaza Strip on an unprecedented scale, because what happened here is something that has never happened before. There is an enemy here firing rockets, raiding a civilian population,” Tishler says in a call with reporters. “We are never going back to that,” he says. So far, a whopping 2,687 targets inside Gaza have been hit… The Israel Defense Forces has carried out strikes against 2,687 targets across the Gaza Strip since Saturday, according to fresh military data. According to the data, 1,329 of the targets are multi-story buildings containing Hamas assets, including war rooms where the terror group manages the fighting against Israel.
One of those targets was the Islamic University of Gaza.We are being told that it was a “central training center”, and now it has been completely destroyed…The Israel Defense Forces says it has bombed the Islamic University of Gaza, “which serves as a central training center for Hamas engineers.” The military says fighter jets targeted the campus, located in Gaza City. According to the IDF, the university was “an important center of political and military power” for Hamas and a “training institution for the development and production of weapons.” In the past, Israel was always so careful to avoid collateral damage when it would conduct attacks in Gaza.
But now Israel’s defense minister is making it clear that there will be no holding back… Yoav Gallant, the Israeli defense minister, said ‘all restraints on fighters have been released’ and promised an intensification of fighting. ‘Hamas wanted a change and it will get one. What was in Gaza will no longer be,’ he said. ‘We started the offensive from the air, later on we will also come from the ground. We’ve been controlling the area since Day Two and we are on the offensive. It will only intensify. ‘Whoever comes to decapitate, murder women, Holocaust survivors — we will eliminate him at the height of our power and without compromise.’
If the IDF were to apply the same treatment to Damascus, it would draw Syria into the war. Once Hamas, Hezbollah and Syria have all entered the war, it is probably just a matter of time before Iran joins the conflict too. And once Iran enters the war, there is no telling how far things could escalate. Already, one member of the Knesset named Revital Gotliv has been calling for the use of nuclear weapons… “Jericho Missile! Jericho Missile! Strategic alert. before considering the introduction of forces. Doomsday weapon! This is my opinion. May God preserve all our strength,” Gotliv wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Monday, according to a translation. Another post says: “I urge you to do everything and use Doomsday weapons fearlessly against our enemies,” adding that Israel “must use everything in its arsenal.”
On Tuesday, she continued with her calls of urgency. “Only an explosion that shakes the Middle East will restore this country’s dignity, strength and security!” Gotliv posted. “It’s time to kiss doomsday. Shooting powerful missiles without limit. Not flattening a neighbourhood. Crushing and flattening Gaza. … without mercy! without mercy!” Everyone knows that Israel has nukes, and let us hope that they will not be used any time soon. But we should all be able to understand why she is so furious. one location that Hamas attacked in southern Israel, “knives were found left in some of the children”… is evidence in Kibbutz Be’eri that children were slain in front of their parents, Maj. Doron Spielman says. Knives were found left in some of the children.
Bodies are still being taken out of the kibbutz, which Spielman says will be remembered as a symbol of Hamas’s massacre, like Auschwitz is the symbol of the Holocaust. Some 1,200 Israelis were slaughtered by the terror group, including over 100 at Be’eri alone. When Hamas decided to rape women, murder children and kidnap the elderly, they awakened the full fury of the Jewish people. And when Israel sends troops into Gaza, the Great Middle East War will be unleashed.
There is going to be so much death and destruction in the days ahead, and there will be many more cities that will be transformed into piles of rubble before this is all over.
Russia Condemns Israeli Strikes on Syria as Iran Raises Specter of Multi-Front War. Vladimir Putin backs Israel’s right to defend itself while reiterating calls for ‘two-state’ solution.
Israeli airstrikes on two Syrian airports have drawn condemnation from Moscow, an ally of Damascus. “These actions by Israel are a gross violation of Syria’s sovereignty and the basic rules of international law,” Russia’s foreign ministry said on Oct. 12. Earlier the same day, the Damascus and Aleppo international airports were simultaneously attacked by Israeli warplanes, damaging runways and grounding flights. In line with longstanding Israeli policy, Israel’s military declined to comment on the airstrikes. Israel, which has fought three major conflicts with Syria, conducts frequent strikes on Syrian territory. It claims the strikes are aimed at Iranian military personnel who have been operating in Syria—at the latter’s invitation—since 2015.
The Israeli strikes came one day before Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iran’s foreign minister, had been due to visit Damascus. According to Syria’s foreign ministry, the strikes were aimed at “inflaming the regional situation and distracting attention from Israeli war crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza.” For the past six days, Israeli warplanes have relentlessly pounded the Gaza Strip, which is home to some 2.3 million Palestinians. The ongoing airstrikes have leveled buildings and killed upwards of 1,500 Palestinians, according to Gaza’s health ministry. The strikes come in response to an Oct. 7 cross-border raid by Hamas, a Gaza-based militant group, that left some 1,300 Israelis—soldiers and civilians—dead. Syria, which has remained in a state of war with Israel since the latter’s establishment in 1948, has praised Hamas’ deadly cross-border raid. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, meanwhile, has vowed to impose a “complete siege” on Gaza and wipe Hamas “off the face of the Earth.”
‘Axis of Resistance’
During a visit to Beirut on Oct. 12, Mr. Amir-Abdollahian warned that ongoing Israeli “war crimes” against the Palestinians would draw a response from what has been called the “axis of resistance.” The term refers to an alliance of states and groups opposed to Israel, including Iran, Syria, Palestinian militant groups, and Lebanon’s Shiite Hezbollah militia. “Western officials have asked if there is an intention to open a new front against the Zionist entity,” Mr. Amir-Abdollahian said in reference to Israel. “The continuation of war crimes against Palestine and Gaza will receive a response from the rest of the axis,” he added.
Long seen as Israel’s arch-foe in the region, Iran has praised Hamas’ cross-border attack while rejecting claims that it was involved in the raid. During his trip to the Lebanese capital, Mr. Amir-Abdollahian also met with Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Since the latest round of violence began, Hezbollah and Israel have exchanged fire across the fraught Israel-Lebanon border. On Oct. 13, Lebanese media reported that Israeli artillery had struck several positions inside Lebanese territory. On the same day, Hezbollah deputy chief Naim Qassem said the militant group was “entirely ready” to enter the fray. “Behind-the-scenes calls with great powers, Arab countries, UN envoys … telling us not to interfere [in the conflict] will have no effect,” he told supporters in Beirut. “Hezbollah is well aware of its obligations,” Mr. Qassem added. “We are prepared and entirely ready.”
Israel invaded southern Lebanon in 1978, 1982, and 2006. In the last conflict, Israeli forces withdrew from the country after fighting a month-long war with Hezbollah in which hundreds—mostly Lebanese civilians—were killed. At an Oct. 13 press briefing with U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Mr. Gallant asserted that Hamas and Iran were both part of an “axis of evil.” When asked if Tehran had greenlit Hamas’ cross-border attack, Mr. Gallant said: “It doesn’t matter … the idea is an Iranian idea.”
Putin Urges ‘Two-State’ Solution Unlike most Western capitals, Moscow has adopted a relatively measured approach to the conflict.On Oct. 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin blamed the latest outbreak of violence on Washington’s “one-sided” approach to the decades-long dispute between Israel and the Palestinians.“The Americans’ one-sided stance has for many years kept the situation in a deadlock,” he said at a regional summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.“This, along with [Israeli] settlement activities, has led to the present-day tragedy,” Mr. Putin added.He also cautioned Israel against a full-scale invasion of the Gaza Strip, which, he said, would likely result in an “unacceptable” number of civilian casualties.
In earlier remarks, Mr. Putin voiced support for Israel’s right to defend itself—but he also called for a negotiated solution. “The primary aim of negotiations should be the implementation of the UN’s ‘two-state’ formula, which implies the creation of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital,” he said on Oct. 11.

Ten ‘10’ Denotes God’s divine ‘COMPLETENESS’ as to things on EARTH. In Revelation 10, he is opening up the ancient scrolls and ‘little book’ of prophecy that Daniel was told to ‘SEAL UP’ and not write of what was spoken. (NWN; the prophecy angel(s) are HANDING the little book to physically alive men on the earth. In essence, they are handing or ‘transferring’ the ‘little book of prophecy’ to physical men ALIVE on the EARTH during the ‘End Times’ or ‘Last Days.’ God conveys prophecy to Angels who in turn are ‘messengers’ of God’s prophecy to mortal men alive. Angels, throughout the past 6,000 years have been ‘messengers’ for God to mankind.)
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
(NWN; this is a ‘discernment’ on my part. ‘Take it and eat it’ is a spiritual ‘consumption’ of understanding the End Times and God’s related prophecies to go along with ‘signs of the times.’ It takes ‘7’ knowledge, wisdom, obedience, humility, persistence, prayer and the Holy Spirit’ to work prophecy in man’kind. This is a great and wonderful thing, just like a ‘7’ course meal. However, once the prophecies are apparent ‘consumed and understood’ they will be prone to make one sick to the stomach because of what they foretell. Just like eating a ’7’ course meal will likely make you feel like you could explode. God’s UNFILTERD WRATH poured on evil man’kind who refuse Him, and refuse His Son Jesus Christ and His eternal offer of salvation. Seeing prophecy happen and unfold is a wonderful and miraculous thing. Understanding the implications of seeing prophecy unfold, leaves one’s stomach bitter and sour because of the ‘gastrointestinal storm’ that is coming. Pass-the-antacid-pills, please.)

(NWN; the prophecy angel was prophesying what would happen to anyone who attempted to reveal what was in the ‘little book.’ This verse ‘confirms’ that what was prophesied, did in fact occur and was experienced by those given the task of being Watchmen. This also ‘suggests’ that some men are ‘willingly’ allowing themselves to be Watchmen because they consciously love prophecy (God’s Word) and are completely open and receptive to it.)

(NWN; since this is verse ‘11’ it suggests a WARNING(S). The purpose of prophecy is to inform, proclaim and WARN. It suggests that the Watchmen who proclaim the Word of God, will have their ‘7’ words, letters, videos, blogs, sermons, articles and books proclaim God’s WILL to those during the End Times / Last Days and Tribulation period. God has ALWAYS used Holy Angels and physical men (Moses, Elijah, Daniel, Enoch, and others) to speak on behalf of God. He will do this also through the Tribulation via; 1. Prophecy revealed to mankind via his ‘little book’ to Watchmen, 2. The ‘two witnesses’, ‘lampstands’ or candles who proclaims God’s light to the world for the first 3.5 years of the tribulation, 3. The various Angel warnings given to men to NOT TAKE THE MARK of the BEAST and lastly, 4. The 144,000 Jewish Evangelists who have the ‘seal of God’ in their foreheads (and NOT the mark of the Beast) who proclaim Jesus Christ’s offer of Salvation ONE LAST TIME, before the 7 year tribulation ends.)
