The ‘Rapture,’ ‘Harpazo’, ‘Catching Up’, ‘Twinkling-of-an-Eye’, ‘In a Moment’
“For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (or precede) them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17)
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.” (1 Thessalonians 5:9-11)
The message is as clear as it can possibly be. As clear as this message is, some have trouble understanding it, even today. Paul says that Lord will appear in the air, the dead in Christ will rise, those still living will rise right after, and we will then spend eternity with the Lord. Paul says the purpose of this revelation was to comfort believers facing hard times. What completes the theme is Paul’s exhortation at the end.
“Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1 Thessalonians 4:18)
High (7) WATCH WEEK, FEAST OF TRUMPETS IS September 15-17, 2023; BREAKING NEWS! ISRAEL PEACE PLAN added to 7 year UN SDG plan!!! The Times of Israel
When the Last Trumpet Blows – Bill Perkins
Therefore the Feast of Trumpets was a reminder that the day was approaching when God would cover all their sin. Having their sins taken away was incredible and only bestowed on those Jews participating in Yom Kippur. They were in awe of that fact. Jewish scribes have long associated the Feast of Trumpets with the arrival of their Messiah. So this “reminder” is both for the Jews to prepare for Yom Kippur AND the future arrival of their Messiah.
(Well, OK, they missed Him the first time, and now most will miss Him again at the Rapture! But they will welcome Him at the 2nd Coming. All part of God’s plan for the ages. Also, you can see why they want to rebuild their Temple as currently they have no sacrifice. This WILL happen in the Tribulation—Dan. 9:27.)
Believers should also associate this feast with the arrival of Jesus. We can easily see the Rapture in Exodus 20 when the Lord came down from the top of Mt. Sinai on the third day. Israelites were at the bottom of the mountain and were greeted with a very loud trumpet sound. So it came about on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunder and lightning flashes and a thick cloud upon the mountain and a very loud trumpet sound, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. Ex. 19:16
The people of Israel had gathered in the desert at the bottom of Mount Sinai to meet God. And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Ex. 19:17
Here we see a fascinating foreshadowing of the Rapture. Paul describes the Rapture this way in his very first letter he ever wrote to the churches he planted. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 1Th. 4:16 Just as God descended on Mt. Sinai with the sound of the trumpet, Jesus will also have his angels call us with the heavenly trumpet to meet our Lord Jesus in the air.
And just like when the Holy Spirit came to the earth in Acts 2, the Holy Spirit departing at the Rapture will also be quite loud. And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, Acts 2:2 The Holy Spirit was loud coming at Pentecost to just a few men. Imagine how loud it will be when He leaves the earth with millions in tow. The entire earth will know something just happened and that this mind-blowing noise was supernatural in origin.
So the yearly Jewish celebration of the Feast of Trumpets points to the Rapture…but few Jews understand this…at least they don’t understand today. But a lot of Jews WILL understand after the Rapture because Jesus Himself will train 144,000 Rabbinical Jews to evangelize and teach the truth about Jesus the Messiah, Yeshua HaMashiach.(1) With that background, this next verse makes a lot more sense:
The Last Trumpet
Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 1Cor. 15:51-52 The word “mystery” in the Greek is “mysterion,” and it means “truth undiscoverable except by divine revelation.” This “mystery” parallels the prophetic book of Daniel that deemed what was being recorded would not to be understood until the latter days.
“But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time;” Dan. 12:4 Today any grounded Bible Believer understands Daniel 2 and 7 are about events that are occurring today. God is revealing this mystery in the last days in which we live. He [God] has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the latter days. Dan.2:28 But even more interesting is that Rosh Hashanah is celebrated by blowing trumpets for two days. There’s that two day period again! And at the end of the two days, technically the third day, the Jews end the Feast of Trumpets celebration with a special blowing of the trumpet seven times. And the 7th blow is one very long and loud blast.
So when Paul said the Rapture will happen “at the last trumpet,” he’s referring to the last trumpet blowing at the Feast of Trumpets. I believe God has revealed this truth to us! This year the Feast of Trumpets/Rosh Hashanah begins on September 16 and ends on September 17. We, of course, start and end our day at midnight. But in Israel, the day ends and begins at sunset. So Rosh Hashanah begins on Friday night at sunset, and ends two days/48 hours later at sunset. Sunset in Israel Sunday, September 17, is at 6:42 PM. So here in the United States the time the Israelis will be blowing the long last trump on Sunday morning is:
8:42 AM Pacific Time
9:42 AM Mountain Time
10:42 AM Central Time
11:42 AM Eastern Time
If the Rapture happens this year, I personally believe it will have been disclosed in scripture that it will happen at the end of the Feast of Trumpets, which in the USA is this Sunday morning. Obviously I could be wrong. Or the calendar could be wrong. Or I’ve got the wrong year. Or maybe the mid-trib Rapture position could be right…nah, not a snowball’s chance for that one! Anyway, there are other reasons to think it could be this year. We all can see what looks like “the writing on the wall” going on all over the world. The list is ridiculously long! I’ll bet everyone reading this could easily name 10 reasons the Rapture’s close off the top of their head.

1 Corinthians 15
49 And as we (7) have borne the image of the earthy, we shall (7) also bear the image of the heavenly. (77)
50 Now this I say, brethren, that (7) flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom (7) of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. (77)
51 Behold, I shew (7) you a mystery; We shall not all (7) sleep, but we shall all be changed, (77)
52 In a (7) moment, in the twinkling of an eye, (7) at the last trump: for the trumpet (7) shall sound, and the dead shall be (7) raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (7777)
53 (7) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, (7) and this mortal must put on immortality. (77)
54 So when (7) this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and (7) this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be (7) brought to pass the saying that is (7) written, Death is swallowed up in victory. (7777)
John 14:2 (7) In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were (7) not so, I would have told you. I (7) go to prepare a place for you. (777)
John 14:3 And if I go and (7) prepare a place for you, I will (7) come again, and receive you unto myself; that where (7) I am, there ye may be also (777)
The Great Sign of Revelation 12
Revelation 12 And (7) there appeared a great wonder in heaven; (7) a woman clothed with the sun, and (7) the moon under her feet, and upon (7) her head a crown of twelve stars: (7777)
2 (7) And she being with child cried, travailing (7) in birth, and pained to be delivered. (77)
4 And his tail drew the (7) third part of the stars of heaven, (7) and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon (7) stood before the woman which was ready (7) to be delivered, for to devour her (7) child as soon as it was born. (77777)
5 And she (7) brought forth a man child, who was (7) to rule all nations with a rod (7) of iron: and her child was caught (7) up unto God, and to his throne. (7777)

Romans 5:9 Much more then, (7) being now justified by his blood, we (7) shall be saved from wrath through him. (77)
Revelation 3:10 Because thou (7) hast kept the word of my patience, I also will (7) keep thee from the hour of temptation, (7) which shall come upon all the world, to (7) try them that dwell upon the earth. (7777)
According to (7) the Bible’s Book of Revelations, seven trumpets (7) will be sounded in the last days (7) to unleash a series of catastrophic events. (777)
The Book of (7) Revelation holds the final chapters of the (7) Bible and details the end of the (7) world and Second Coming of Jesus Christ. (777)
Hope Bolinger wrote in an article for Christianity.com: (7) “The seven seals and seven trumpets are a (7) series of catastrophic events that will take (7) place during the End Days to enact (7) the judgment of God upon the earth.” (7777)
(7) For some time, I have pinpointed the (7) Rapture to occur during the Feast of (7) Trumpets, the time of the late harvest, (7) and because of the progress of the (7) “falling away,” the Day is clearly approaching. Would God (7) allow such an obvious action of the (7) world to occur contrary to His will? (7) “Knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10b).

(7) Paul Rolland, Night Watchman, Night Watchman Ministries:
The ‘Raptured / Harpazoed’ Church is in Heaven FIRST, which then witnesses Jesus Christ open the FIRST SEAL (of the seven seals) that STARTS the TRIBULATION. The First Seal is the ‘White Horseman on an Arabian Stallion’ that is REVEALED by his ‘CONFIRMATION’ of the False Covenant of Peace and Security for Seven Years.
Revelation 5 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
… ‘no man in heaven’ = Raptured Men, Bride of Christ, Church
… ‘nor on earth’ = Those ‘Left Behind on Earth’ During the Tribulation.
… ‘neither under the earth’ = Those in Hell.
… ‘twenty-four elders’ = A ‘select’ group of raptured/redeemed men who constitute part of God’s office of Government / Governance in Heaven.
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
9 (7) And they sung a new song, saying, (7) Thou art worthy to take the book, and (7) to open the seals thereof: for thou (7) wast slain, and hast redeemed us to (7) God by thy blood out of every (7) kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; (777777),
Note; all the redeemed (past tense) men that make up the Raptured Church, from the ‘Age of Grace.’ These are NOT the ‘Tribulation Saints’ who are martyred, beheaded for their faith by the Beast / Antichrist, during the Tribulation on Earth.
12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Jesus Christ is (7) the ‘ONE’ worthy to open the SEALS:
Revelation 6 And I (7) saw when the Lamb opened one of (7) the seals, and I heard, as it (7) were the noise of thunder, one of (7) the four beasts saying, Come and see. (7777)
Revelation 6:2 And I saw, and (7) behold a white horse: and he that (7) sat on him had a bow; and (7) a crown was given unto him: and (7) he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (7777)
But how can (7) they call on him (Jesus Christ) to save (7) them unless they believe in Him (Jesus Christ)? (7) And how can they believe in Him (7) (Jesus Christ) if they have never heard about (7) Him (Jesus Christ)? And how can they hear (7) about Him (Jesus Christ) unless someone tells them?” Romans 10:14 (777777)

Jesus Christ’s Offer of Salvation:
The ABCs (7) of Salvation through Jesus Christ (the Lamb)
A. (7) Admit/Acknowledge/Accept that you are sinner. Ask (7) God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins.
. . . “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23).
. . . “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10).
. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8).
B. Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that (7) Jesus Christ is who He claimed to (7) be; that He was both fully God (7) and fully man and that we are (7) saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. (7) Put your trust in Him as your (7) only hope of salvation. Become a son (7) or daughter of God by receiving Christ. (7777777) 7×7
. . . “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:15-17). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).
C. Call upon His name, Confess (7) with your heart and with your lips (7) that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.
. . . “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10).
. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (John 1:8-10).
. . . “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (John 2:2).
. . . “In this was manifested the love of god toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:9, 14-15).
. . . “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:8-10).
. . . “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23).
. . . “Jesus saith unto them, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6).
. . . “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.” (Romans 1:16).
. . . “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts: 4:12).
. . . “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 2:4-6).
. . . “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:9).
. . . “But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1:12).
True Church / Bride of Christ Spared from God’s Wrath:
Romans 5:8-10. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”
Romans 12:19. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 1:10. And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 5:9. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
Romans 8:35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Jeremiah 30:7. Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
