Four-fold Results of Christ Opening the First Four Book Seals on Earth:
- Conquering. White Horse “And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.” (Rev. 6:2).
- War. Red Horse “And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.” (Rev. 6:4).
- Scarcity, Economic Collapse. Black Horse “And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse: and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny: and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” (Rev. 6:5-6).
- Death. Pale Horse “And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.” (Rev. 6:8).
Commentary: Conquering nations, multitudes of peoples, tribes and tongues requires warfare. The beast/ antichrist goes out to conquer and create war. A subsequent result of wars is the destruction of lands and crops, and the processes for food creation and distribution. This then results in famines and starvation on a massive scale. Diseases and pestilences are not far behind, ultimately followed by death. The process of conquering which ultimately results in death, is on a scale so massive and global, that a “fourth part” or 25% of the earth’s population is decimated. Even the beasts of the earth have power to kill men. One current estimate has the earth’s population at 7.5 billion people. A literal calculation would put the death rate at slightly under 2.0 billion (1.9 billion) people killed by the four horsemen of the apocalypse. That is an unimaginable death toll, unlike anything ever occurring on earth before. Massive numbers of unknown and untold peoples. The extremely sad fact is that “hell followed death.” Unfortunately, taken in a literal sense, the unfortunate people who die are described as being unsaved and have no redeeming knowledge or acceptance of Jesus Christ’s forgiveness of sins through the shedding of his blood. Hell is for those who did not accept Jesus Christ’s offer of salvation, for whatever their personal evil reasons or pride. The Bible does not provide any indication of where these almost 2.0 billion souls will come from throughout the earth. We are left to assume (correctly or incorrectly) that they will come from all over the world. No continent will escape these wars and the subsequent death that follows. Satan will have been successful in killing and stealing almost 2.0 billion potential saints from God and Jesus Christ.
The Black Horseman With A Set Of Economic Balances or Scales

Commentary; balances are symbolic for economic transactions and ‘prices’ for things such as wheat and barley grain, bread, olive oil, wine, various food commodities. These are common throughout the world and are considered by most as the ‘staples of life or living.’
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Global debt hit record high last year – UN
A “systemic failure” poses a risk to the world financial system, according to the organization’s Secretary-General Antonio Guterres
15 Jul, 2023 11:01 RT
Global public debt reached an unprecedented level of $92 trillion last year, with developing countries shouldering a disproportionate amount, the United Nations highlighted on Wednesday.
According to a new report by the UN Global Crisis Response Group, since 2000 world public debt has jumped more than fivefold, outpacing global GDP, which tripled over the same period. Almost 30% of the total global debt is owed by developing countries, it shows.
“Half our world is sinking into a development disaster, fuelled by a crushing debt crisis,” UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said, commenting on the report.
According to the calculations presented in the document, some 3.3 billion people, or nearly half of the world’s population, live in countries that spend more on debt-interest payments than on education or health.
Such unsustainable levels of debt are a result of the “inequality built into our outdated global financial system,” the UN chief explained. On average, borrowing costs are four times higher for African countries than for the US, and eight times higher than for the wealthiest European economies, he added.
According to Guterres, the situation is “a systemic failure” that poses a risk to the global financial system.
A World of Debt proposes a number of measures to tackle the situation, including a debt workout mechanism that supports payment suspensions, longer lending terms, and lower rates.
The report was released ahead of a meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors of the G20 member nations in India from July 14 to 18. According to Reuters, among the issues on the agenda will be the treatment of countries under the so-called Common Framework, a G20 initiative launched in 2020 to help poor nations delay debt repayments.
Over 50 countries close to debt default – UN
Talks with the G20 on relief for borrowers are reportedly “not advancing at all”

The UN Development Programme (UNDP) has issued an alarm about the plight of developing countries as a key meeting of G20 ministers in India stalls on the subject of debt relief. This follows a report last week from the UN detailing the threat of public debt to half the globe.
G20 representatives met on Monday in Gandhinagar, Gujarat but made little to no progress in discussions about restructuring the debt held by developing nations, AP reported.
“I think the bottom line is, as of [July] 2023, the issue of debt restructuring is really not advancing at all on a scale that is called for and needed,” UNDP administrator Achim Steiner told Reuters, calling the situation a “grave concern.”
Last week, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres warned that 52 countries had no way to reduce their debt burden and were approaching default. Promoting a UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) report on the growing problem of debt, Guterres said that 3.3 billion people lived in countries that were spending more on interest payments than on health or education.
“This is more than a systemic risk – it’s a systemic failure,” Guterres said last Wednesday.
UNCTAD specified that at least 19 developing nations spent more on interest than on education, and in another 45 it amounted to more than spending on healthcare. According to the UN agency, almost 40% of the world is in serious debt trouble.
Particularly alarming was the “inherent inequality in the international financial system, burdening developing countries disproportionately,” UNCTAD said, noting that African countries were paying four times more in interest than the US, and eight times more than the richest nations of Europe. Restructuring this debt is proving difficult because 62% of it is now held by private creditors, up from 47% a decade ago.
Global public debt has reached the all-time-high of $92 trillion in 2022, Guterres warned last week, in a five-fold surge since 2000. The UNDP has attributed the increase to the Covid-19 pandemic and the surge in inflation and interest rates. The UN agency estimated that more than 20% of the world’s population – around 1.65 billion people – are now struggling to put food on the table and subsist on less than $3.65 a day.
The warnings by Guterres and UNDP went largely unnoticed due to the NATO summit in Lithuania, where the US-led military bloc pledged even more funding for the conflict in Ukraine.
But how can they call on him (Jesus Christ) to save them unless they believe in him (Jesus Christ)? And how can they believe in him (Jesus Christ) if they have never heard about him (Jesus Christ)? And how can they hear about him (Jesus Christ) unless someone tells them?” Romans 10:14

Jesus Christ’s Offer of Salvation:
The ABCs of Salvation through Jesus Christ (the Lamb)
A. Admit/Acknowledge/Accept that you are sinner. Ask God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins.
. . . “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23).
. . . “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10).
. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8).
B. Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that Jesus Christ is who He claimed to be; that He was both fully God and fully man and that we are saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. Put your trust in Him as your only hope of salvation. Become a son or daughter of God by receiving Christ.
. . . “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:15-17). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).
C. Call upon His name, Confess with your heart and with your lips that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.
. . . “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10).
. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (John 1:8-10).
. . . “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (John 2:2).
. . . “In this was manifested the love of god toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:9, 14-15).
. . . “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:8-10).
. . . “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23).
. . . “Jesus saith unto them, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6).
. . . “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.” (Romans 1:16).
. . . “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts: 4:12).
. . . “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 2:4-6).
. . . “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:9).
. . . “But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1:12).
