Coming Natural Disasters
Four-fold Seal Wraths Poured out on Earth:
- Great earthquake. (Rev. 6:12).
- Sun becomes black. (Rev. 6:12).
- Moon becomes blood. (Rev. 6:12).
- Stars in heaven fall to the earth. (Rev. 6:13).
Commentary: When Christ opens the sixth book seal, natural calamities are unleashed on the earth and heavens (not heaven). The Seal Wraths, Trumpet Wraths and Vial Wraths all alternate between affecting men and the earth. In the case of wraths being poured out onto the earth, they increase in severity and intensity going from least (seal wraths) to greatest (vial wraths). There is a very consistent pattern of affliction to the sun, moon and stars; and to the earth, it’s seas, fresh water systems (rivers, fountains and lakes), the foliage and the earth’s internal structural integrity. God afflicts man through his wrath poured out on the earth in several substantial ways. Many peoples of the earth rely on the seas to provide them with their livelihoods and food. Other areas of the earth are extremely dependent on fresh water systems for drinking water and related uses like irrigation for crops and water for livestock. Elsewhere, peoples are dependent on grasses and crops for feeding not only humans but livestock. Without the sun, crops will die and ultimately so will livestock. God is in effect, causing severe stress on earth’s life-supporting systems for men. In many areas of the world today, drought makes it extremely difficult to eak out any form of subsistence. This will get worse. God causes these general calamities to affect the earth, in order to get evil mankind’s attention during the Tribulation. At this point, God is ‘shouting’ at evil mankind, through natural means.
Four-fold Trumpet Wraths Poured out on Earth:
- “The first angel shouted, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.” (Rev. 8:7).
- “And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.” (Rev. 8:8-9).
- “And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.” (Rev. 8:10-11.
- “And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.” (Rev. 8:12).
Commentary: Through the four trumpet wraths, God starts ‘yelling’ at evil mankind. He is turning up the heat a notch, so-to-speak, by increasing the affliction of earth to the point where various life-sustaining systems are destroyed. This includes sea creatures and man himself. 1/3rd of trees and 1/3rd of grasses burnt up. This affects livestock and animals in the eco-systems that are reliant on the forests and jungles. 1/3rd of the sea is contaminated which causes 1/3rd of sea creatures to die. 1/3rd of sea going vessels are also destroyed by the “great mountain burning with fire that is cast into the sea.” Pick any of the world’s major oceans to be the recipient of the great mountain burning with fire. It doesn’t matter which ocean is targeted, as they are all ultimately interconnected. The spill-over effect of one ocean being contaminated affecting adjacent oceans is ecologically obvious. It won’t take much to affect 1/3rd of the world’s salt-water oceans in becoming contaminated enough by a large meteor or of a super-massive volcanic explosion from the ocean depth. The contamination effectively kills off 1/3rd of global sea life.
Consider today the volcanic effects resulting from the volcanoes erupting in Hawaii, Guatemala, Bali and around the world. Here in the United States, the super-volcano that sits underneath Yellowstone National Park has geological scientists very worried, due to its ‘swarm earthquakes’ and substantially increased geyser activity. To harm the ocean is to harm its sea life and commercial ships that rely on harvesting the ocean. At this point, God also decides to pour his wrath out on earth by means of poisoning 1/3rd of the fresh water systems around the world (rivers, lakes, fountains). Because sea water (salt water) is undrinkable, most nations that do not have any formal de-salination technology, have to rely on fresh waters systems (rivers, lakes, fountains) for drinking water and its related uses to sustain human and animal life. The Bible is clear that a great heavenly object called “wormwood” is cast to earth which causes 1/3rd of freshwater systems to become bitter (polluted or contaminated to an unhealthy degree) to the extent that men die from drinking this water. The water of the earth, seas and fresh water systems, have been so afflicted that evil ma’s existence comes into question because of his reliance on the seas, lakes, rivers and fountains. Take away water, and man starts to die. Just as God and Christ started getting men’s attention by affecting the sun, moon and stars in the sixth book seal, the affliction of the sun, moon and stars gets turned up a notch by the fourth trumpet angel. Now, God is targeting his wrath to affect 1/3rd of the sun, 1/3rd of the moon and 1/3rd of the stars to become darkened during the day and not shine likewise at night. Daytime will be darkened by a third, and night time will be darker by a third.
Four-fold Vial Plagues Poured out on Earth:
- “And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.” (Rev. 16:3).
- “And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.” (Rev. 16:4).
- “And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain.” (Rev. 16:10).
- “And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.” (Rev. 16:12).
Commentary: Ultimately, and finally, God starts ‘screaming’ at evil mankind through the final four vial plagues poured out on the earth in totality. Up until this point, God has turned up his wrath incrementally. Initially, he showcased supernatural wrath with first time afflictions of the earth proper. Next he showcased his wrath by affecting 1/3rd of the earth’s suface foliage and waters (sea and fresh) and 1/3rd of the heavens (sun, moon, stars). Here at the end with the vial plagues, God turns the knob of wrath, all the way up to high. The afflictions of the earth that sustains evil mankind is total. All seas become as blood. “Every living soul/creature dies in the sea.” 1/3rd of freshwater systems (rivers, fountains, lakes) also become as blood (which is progressively worse than being bitter from wormwood). The sun, moon and stars are totally darkened so that the beast’s kingdom and capital are completely dark (no sunlight, no moonlight, no starlight). The light that shines on the earth has gone progressively darker from a one-off darkness during the seal judgements, to a 1/3rd darkness during the trumpet wraths to total darkness with the vial wraths.
Lastly, Rev. 16:12 is unique in that this is the only wrath verse that indicates an entire river is dried up (Euphrates) to allow passage for the kings of the east to participate in The Great Day of the Lord aka the battle of Armageddon. This suggests that the vial plagues take place shortly before Christ’s second coming to earth, sometime during the Great Tribulation or last 3 ½ years of the total Tribulation period. These plagues will obviously affect men to the point of being in a frenzy of hatred and anger, and for them to vent blasphemy and curses at God. The beast/antichrist uses this to fuel worldwide motivation for a gathering of the world’s armies to arrive at Armageddon. The river has to be dried up so that thousands of tanks and armored vehicles of every sort can quickly cross the span of the river bed. Evil mankind’s existence is so threatened by these worldwide plagues that they feel the only thing they can do (other than to repent and ask Christ’s forgiveness through the shedding of his blood and resurrection) is to fight or make war against him. They do no succeed in this attempt and are totally annihilated.
Four-fold Reference to Plagues Poured out on Evil Mankind:
- . . . “And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.” (Rev. 9:3-6).
- . . . “And the first (angel) went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.” (Rev. 16:2).
- . . . “And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And Men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.” (Rev. 16:8-9).
- . . . “And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.” (Rev. 16:21).
Commentary: These plagues or afflictions round out God’s plan of pouring out wrath upon evil mankind. For the most part, the trumpet and vial wraths are poured out on the earth directly; sun, moon, stars, seas, rivers, lakes, fountains, trees, grasses and the earth’s internal structural integrity. All these natural elements support man’s existence on earth. In the first four seal judgements (horsemen of the apocalypse), God is using evil men against evil men, through wars – famines – pestilences and death. The carnage during this early period of the Tribulation is caused primarily by men acting upon men. God saves his worst wrath (vial plagues for the earth) just prior to Christ’s second coming, a.k.a. The Great Day of the Lord. The four wraths described above are directly poured out upon men. Three afflictions come from nature and one affliction comes directly from a demonic source (supernaturally evil locusts).

(7) The 4 main reasons wildfires are getting worse.
Story by Emma Rubin, Emilia Ruzicka Stacker
How wildfires have worsened in recent decades
Earlier this month, residents throughout the Northeast woke to hazy orange skies as smoke blew down from a nearly 12-million-acre wildfire burning in Quebec, threatening national forests and property throughout the province. Thirteen American states issued air quality alerts, highlighting the impact of large-scale fires beyond their immediate path.
Wildfires are innate to forest ecosystems, clearing out dead debris and paving the way for new growth, but climate change has elongated dry seasons, increased temperatures, and widened the potential for large-scale wildfires. Beyond weather-related factors, the prevalence of insects like bark beetles damage trees and make them more prone to burning. Invasive vegetation such as cheatgrass also easily burns and contributes to spread.
Trees, traditionally a storage vessel for carbon, release carbon immediately when burning and during decomposition. The EU’s Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service estimated that global wildfires in 2022 released 1,455 megatonnes of carbon emissions. Black carbon, or soot, can also travel beyond wildfire zones, absorbing sunlight and warming the earth further.
Beyond the environmental threats, the widening reach of wildfires threatens the displacement of countless residents. Despite this, people continue moving to wildfire-prone areas, putting a growing population at risk of longer fire seasons and associated health risks.
Stacker cited data from the National Interagency Fire Center, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection to visualize how the spread of wildfires has worsened in recent years.
The number of wildfires is decreasing, but more acres are burning
Throughout the mid-20th century, forest management largely focused on preventing forest fires of all scales. Smokey the Bear was a national mascot for fire prevention, overseeing a multi-decade decrease in the number and average size of fires. But without regular fires, debris built up. This, combined with other environmental factors, eventually fueled costlier, large-scale blazes that have come to define the current wildfire season.
Despite having nearly 10,000 fewer fires per year on average from 2011-2021 compared to 1983-2010, the average acreage burned by those fires per year has more than doubled. From 1983-2010, the average number of acres burned per year was about 4.4 million. That number has jumped to 7.5 million acres per year for the 2011-2021 time period.
Wildfire seasons are getting longer
The total acres burned by wildfires in December 2020 was three times greater than the 10-year average for the month. The following year also experienced a damaging December, with a less extensive but still above-average spread covering 336,984 acres. Wildfire season traditionally lasts May through October, but shorter winters and earlier snow melts have extended wildfire risk. 2021 set a record for days at preparedness level 5, the highest alert for wildfire risk.
The USDA Forest Service warned in 2021, “For years, agencies relied on seasonal firefighters for summer months, but now that wildfires are burning into the winter, they need to reevaluate their hiring plans.”
Wildfire suppression costs have risen by billions of dollars
With the increasing severity of wildfires every year, it follows that more resources are required to tame the blazes. In 1999, just before the turn of the century, the Forest Service and all other Department of the Interior agencies spent a combined $515.5 million on wildfire suppression. During the course of the last decade, the average cost of wildfire suppression has skyrocketed to nearly $2.1 billion annually. The Forest Service carries the brunt of this cost, contributing approximately three-quarters of the funds each year.
Though there is not currently an official tracking mechanism for the cost of wildfire damages, academics across the country have attempted to estimate the economic impact of wildfires. In 2020, a team of researchers estimated that the 2018 California wildfires caused $148.5 billion in economic damages.
Lightning fires are causing more damage in the West
At the national level, 89% of wildfires were caused by humans in 2022, but human-caused wildfires contributed only to 44% of total acreage burned. In the Southern and Eastern U.S., human-caused fires still cause the most damage, but elongated dry seasons in the West have intensified the impact of lightning when it does strike.
Dry lightning is created through high-altitude thunderstorms. Extreme heat and drought can cause rain to evaporate before it reaches the ground. Lightning fires can also pose greater damage because it can take longer for them to be detected, whereas human-caused fires are often closer to towns and high-traffic areas. Winds associated with dry thunderstorms can further fan the flames as well. These factors mean that even as the West is less prone to lightning than other parts of the country, the bolts can spark more damage.
California’s wildfires continue to set records
While lightning has sparked some of the most devastating fires in California, powerlines have also fueled far-reaching damage. Contact with overgrown trees, downed lines, and frayed wires can spark flames. Pacific Gas & Electric was held responsible for the 2018 Camp Fire and 2019 Kincade Fire and has instituted rolling blackouts on high-risk wildfire days.
Even as the origin of fires varies, each is exacerbated by existing environmental factors. A 2018 survey from the USDA Forest Service identified nearly 150 million trees that died between 2010-2018 in California. Two years later, 2020’s record season burned nearly 4.4 million acres, and the five largest megafires happened concurrently in August and September. The season demonstrated how the buildup of vulnerable trees can ignite unprecedented spread.
A 2021 aerial survey by the USDA Forest Service offered some hope. Annual tree mortality declined over a five-year period, with an estimated 9.5 million dead trees in the state spanning more than 1 million acres, although tree mortality remains at a much higher rate than California’s pre-drought levels in the early-2000s.

Make Your Decision for Christ NOW!!!!!!! Time is Up!!!!!!!
Jesus Christ’s Offer of Salvation:
The ABCs of Salvation through Jesus Christ (the Lamb)
A. Admit/Acknowledge/Accept that you are sinner. Ask God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins.
. . . “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23).
. . . “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10).
. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8).
B. Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that Jesus Christ is who He claimed to be; that He was both fully God and fully man and that we are saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. Put your trust in Him as your only hope of salvation. Become a son or daughter of God by receiving Christ.
. . . “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:15-17). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).
C. Call upon His name, Confess with your heart and with your lips that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.
. . . “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10).
. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (John 1:8-10).
. . . “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (John 2:2).
. . . “In this was manifested the love of god toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:9, 14-15).
. . . “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:8-10).
. . . “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23).
. . . “Jesus saith unto them, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6).
. . . “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.” (Romans 1:16).
. . . “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts: 4:12).
. . . “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 2:4-6).
. . . “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:9).
. . . “But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1:12).
True Church / Bride of Christ Spared from God’s Wrath:
Romans 5:8-10. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”
Romans 12:19. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 1:10. And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 5:9. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
Romans 8:35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Jeremiah 30:7. Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
