Feast of Trumpets

Feast of Trumpets 2022. ‘7’ Don’t Know The Day or The Hour?

Romans 10:14 “But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?”

‘7’ Paul Rolland, Night Watchman, Night Watchman Ministries

Ten ‘10’ Denotes God’s divine ‘COMPLETENESS’ as to things on EARTH. In Revelation 10, he is opening up the ancient scrolls and ‘little book’ of prophecy that Daniel was told to ‘SEAL UP’ and not write of what was spoken. He was prophetically being told additional things that would transpire or occur ‘in the end of days’ and during the 7 year ‘tribulation.

Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the ‘time of the end’: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the ‘time of the end’.

‘Time of the End’:

Revelation ‘10’ And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

2 And he had in his hand a ‘little book open’(NWN; Daniels ‘little book’ is now being opened by God’s Great Angel of Prophecy) and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven ‘7’ thunders uttered their voices.

(NWN; I ‘discern’ that these are seven ‘7’ other great prophecy angels who are ‘confirming’ that NOW IS THE TIME to OPEN DANIEL’S ‘END TIME’ Book of Future Prophecy.’)

4 And when the seven ‘7’ thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven ‘7’ thunders uttered, and write them not.

5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

(NWN; The Great Prophecy Angel is proclaiming the ‘LAST DAYS or END TIMES’ have come, in no uncertain terms, and that NOW IS THE TIME to reveal prophecy related TO the Last Days or End Times and Tribulation.)

7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh ‘7’ angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

(NWN; Seven ‘7’ denotes God’s divine completion to his plan or purpose for this ‘7th’ prophecy angel to commence and complete prophecy related to the Last Days and End Times. Think of the Great Prophecy Angel as a ‘General’ and the ‘7th’ prophecy angel as a Major or Colonel or someone of rank who has been given authority to physically ‘begin something or start something.’)

8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open (NWN; notice that the ‘little book’ is OPEN) in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.

(NWN; the prophecy angel(s) are HANDING the little book to physically alive men on the earth. In essence, they are handing or ‘transferring’ the ‘little book of prophecy’ to physical men ALIVE on the EARTH during the ‘End Times’ or ‘Last Days.’ God conveys prophecy to Angels who in turn are ‘messengers’ of God’s prophecy to mortal men alive. Angels, throughout the past 6,000 years have been ‘messengers’ for God to mankind.)

9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

(NWN; this is a ‘discernment’ on my part. ‘Take it and eat it’ is a spiritual ‘consumption’ of understanding the End Times and God’s related prophecies to go along with ‘signs of the times.’ It takes ‘7’ knowledge, wisdom, obedience, humility, persistence, prayer and the Holy Spirit’ to work prophecy in man’kind. This is a great and wonderful thing, just like a ‘7’ course meal. However, once the prophecies are apparent ‘consumed and understood’ they will be prone to make one sick to the stomach because of what they foretell. Just like eating a ’7’ course meal will likely make you feel like you could explode. God’s UNFILTERD WRATH poured on evil man’kind who refuse Him, and refuse His Son Jesus Christ and His eternal offer of salvation. Seeing prophecy happen and unfold is a wonderful and miraculous thing. Understanding the implications of seeing prophecy unfold, leaves one’s stomach bitter and sour because of the ‘gastrointestinal storm’ that is coming. Pass-the-antacid-pills, please.)

10 And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

(NWN; the prophecy angel was prophesying what would happen to anyone who attempted to reveal what was in the ‘little book.’ This verse ‘confirms’ that what was prophesied, did in fact occur and was experienced by those given the task of being Watchmen. This also ‘suggests’ that some men are ‘willingly’ allowing themselves to be Watchmen because they consciously love prophecy (God’s Word) and are completely open and receptive to it.)

11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

(NWN; since this is verse ‘11’ it suggests a WARNING(S). The purpose of prophecy is to inform, proclaim and WARN. It suggests that the Watchmen who proclaim the Word of God, will have their ‘7’ words, letters, videos, blogs, sermons, articles and books proclaim God’s WILL to those during the End Times / Last Days and Tribulation period. God has ALWAYS used Holy Angels and physical men (Moses, Elijah, Daniel, Enoch, and others) to speak on behalf of God. He will do this also through the Tribulation via; 1. Prophecy revealed to mankind via his ‘little book’ to Watchmen, 2. The ‘two witnesses’, ‘lampstands’ or candles who proclaims God’s light to the world for the first 3.5 years of the tribulation, 3. The various Angel warnings given to men to NOT TAKE THE MARK of the BEAST and lastly, 4. The 144,000 Jewish Evangelists who have the ‘seal of God’ in their foreheads (and NOT the mark of the Beast) who proclaim Jesus Christ’s offer of Salvation ONE LAST TIME, before the 7 year tribulation ends.)

The Feast of Trumpets and the Return of the King – Pod for Israel

The Feasts of Israel All Point to Jesus!!!

‘7’ Paul Rolland, Night Watchman, Night Watchman Ministries:

The 7 Year ‘Shemitah Cycle’ (2022-2029). The ‘Feast of Trumpets’ (2022). 7 ‘Good’ Years (2015-2022) Followed by 7 Catastrophic Years. The ‘Prince, Beast, Antichrist, Man by Satan ‘MbS’ (2022-2029)

‘7’ Paul Rolland, Night Watchman, Night Watchman Ministries:

The GREAT Revelation 12 Sign in Heaven (2017-2022 = God’s ‘divine’ book-end 5 years). ‘12’ is God’s divine number representing his divine governance or government on earth:

Revelation 12 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. 2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. 3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. 4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. 5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. 6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

Woman = Israel, Child = Church / Bride of Christ, Male Child = Jesus Christ, Dragon = Satan, 7 Heads = NEOM Babylon (Beast’s Seat), 10 Horns = Beast’s Political Military Coalition of 10 Nation States, Third of the Stars = Fallen Angels, 7 Diadems = 7 Year Tribulation, Caught UP to God’s Throne = Rapture, Harpazo, Redemption, ‘Twinkling.’ Wilderness = Petra, Jordan. 1,260 days = Final 3.5 years of the 7 year tribulation.

God is ‘showing’ is fingerprint by a divine ‘book-end’ five (5) year period for the Bride or the ‘Body of Christ’ between September 23, 2017 and September 23, 2022. Imagine that!

In a ‘divine’ context, the number five (5) represents God’s Glory, Power, Omnipotence, Grace and Love.

In an ‘evil’ context, the number five (5) represents Satan’s Deception, Delusion, Defiance, Denial and Destruction.

Just as Satan ‘stole’ God’s symbol of the RAINBOW to represent the LGBTQ+ (5) Delusion, Denial, Defiance, Derangement and Destruction, he ‘stole’ God’s numerical symbol ‘5’ to represent his attributes.

7 year Shemitah Cycle (Week of Jacob’s Trouble). 2022-2029

For Israel, the 7 Year ‘Shemitah’ Cycle (from the founding of the modern state of Israel):

Cycle Twelve ‘12’ = 2028/29 – 2035/36. This would be the FIRST ‘7’ year Shemitah cycle in the NEW MILLENNIAL reign of Christ on earth. ‘12’ denotes God’s ‘DIVINE GOVERNMENT OR GOVERNANCE’ on earth. It fits.

Cycle Eleven ‘11’ = 2021/22 – 2028/29. ‘WARNING,’ the week (7 years) of Jacob’s Trouble Will Start. The ‘new’ cycle STARTS on September 27, 2022.

Cycle Ten = 2014/15 – 2021/22

Cycle Nine = 2007/08 – 2014/15

Cycle Eight = 2000/01 – 2007/08

Cycle Seven = 1993/94 – 2000/01

Cycle Six = 1986/87 – 1993/94

Cycle Five = 1979/80 – 1986/87

Cycle Four = 1972/73 – 1979/80

Cycle Three = 1965/66 – 1972/73

Cycle Two = 1958/59 – 1965/66

Cycle One = 1951/52 – 1958/59

The importance of ‘Cycle 10’, ‘10’ Denotes God’s ‘Divine Completion to Physical Things on earth.’ I have written that ‘2015’ is the ‘start’ of the ‘latter-days’ leading up to the 7 year tribulation. 2015-2022 = 7 ‘Good’ years. 2022-2029 = ‘7’ ‘CATASTROPHIC’ years. How so?

The Seven (7) Kings and the Beast, who is the 8th King, and comes from the line, lineage or genetics of the 7 Kings. The ‘modern’ house of Saud, in Saudi Arabia. The coming 8th king is the ‘son of perdition’, the ‘beast’, the ‘antichrist’

The reign of 6th King Abdullah was from 2005 to 2015. This snapshot of time and space is important because it suggests that this time frame is important for us, for Gentiles alive in the final generation. To know that we are indeed in the ‘final season’ prior to our harpazo/rapture and the onset of the tribulation, without any doubt or hesitation. We know that Israel’s prophetic time clock began in 1948. God’s prophetic time clock for the tribulation of Gentile nations suggests that it started during the time of this sixth king. It is beyond the scope of this letter to go into details about what has occurred throughout the entire earth during the time of the sixth king’s reign. Many prophetic things started being revealed over the 5 year period from 2010 to 2015. The time of the sixth king’s reign is a sign post, a flashing light, a notice of when the final season begins and is upon the earth for Gentiles. God has given signs in scripture and the heavens for Jews, and Gentiles alike. The September 23, 2017 occurrence of the ‘great sign in heaven’ is an example of a sign for the Bride of Christ. The 6th Saudi king is a Gentile and a member of the House of Saud and the bottomless pit of evil. His reign (along with all the other past 5 kings and 2 future kings) has been orchestrated by Satan during the growth of this kingdom and the discovery of its bottomless wealth (oil). To a logical mind, clear and sober, this would indicate that God is saying that the age of grace for all Gentiles on earth is coming to a close. It is not important that we don’t know if God considers 2005 or 2015 to be the beginning of the ‘season of the time before the tribulation.’ Just as God spoke generically about the rebirth of Israel, as when you ‘see the fig tree bearing fruit’, he was referring to a time frame or process developing over time. In His divine plan, things develop and take time to grow until their divine timing is ripe to be revealed. Those who can discern can watch this occur, as it happens in ‘real time’ and understand appropriately and accordingly. As God gave a general timeline for Israel, commencing in 1948, he gives a Gentile timeline commencing in 2015. This of course is BEFORE the arrival of the future 7th and 8th kings who would indicate perhaps the middle and end of the ‘Fall Season’ or Season of the Times’ prior to the rapture/harpazo for the Bride and the onset of the tribulation.’

The 7 year period from 2015 to 2022 does indeed represent a 7 year period denoting God’s divine completion to his plan or purpose for the modern kingship lineage (line of) of Saudi Arabia. Time for the ‘Age of Grace’ has almost ended.  As I write this letter, there is exactly only three (3) months remaining in 2019 before the world enters 2020 and a ‘new’ decade. Time is running out before the time begins of God’s great wrath on mankind and Gentile nations. We can know this with certainty by looking at the time frame witnessed by John the Apostle of the 6th king from the House of Saud. Six (6) denotes evil man/men. Seven (7) denotes God’s divine completion to his plan or purpose. Eight (8) denotes new era, new epoch, new season, new time span, new series of events. The 7th Saud King indicates that God is finished with Satan’s status quo in Saudi Arabia and of the evil Gentile world. The 8th Saud King indicates that God is ushering in a new time of tribulation and trial for mankind, Jews and Gentiles. Remember, the seven (7) year tribulation is also referred to as the ‘time or week of Jacob’s trouble.’ A week being seven (7) years and Jacob being a reference to Jews and Israel. God is turning his attention back onto Israel, the redemption of the Jews, wrath towards the Gentile world and arranging the coming Millennial Reign of Christ on Earth.

The Feast of Trumpets 2022

Also known as Rosh Hashanah, meaning “Head of the Year,” the Feast of Trumpets marked a 10-day period of consecration and repentance to God. The Feast of Trumpets was one of the seven (7) original Jewish feasts mentioned in the Torah and served as the first of three feasts to take place in the fall of the year.

The name of the Feast of Trumpets is taken from the biblical teaching to blow trumpets found in Leviticus 23:24 and Numbers 29:1-6. During this period, no work was to be performed. Only burnt offerings and sin offerings could be offered to God.

Why was the Feast of Trumpets important? One reason was its placement in the agricultural year. It was a time of rest near a time of harvest when work would have been more hectic than usual.

The Feast of Trumpets and other celebrations of the Jewish people pointed toward certain aspects of Christ’s workJoel 2:1 predicted, “Blow a trumpet in Zion; sound an alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming; it is near.”

First Corinthians 15:51-52 states, “Behold! (5) I tell you a mystery. (5) We shall not all sleep, but we ‘7’ shall all be changed, in a moment, in (5) the twinkling of an eye, at the ‘7’ last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, ‘7’ and the dead will be raised imperishable, a (5) nd we shall be changed.” First Thessalonians 4:16 likewise notes, “For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with ‘7’ the sound of the trumpet of God. And ‘7’ the dead in Christ will rise first.”

Today, believers look forward to the time when Christ will return and a different trumpet will sound, calling those who know Christ to be with Him forever.

What is Rosh HaShanah?

In the Bible, the day known as Rosh HaShanah is never actually called ‘a New Year’. Instead, God calls it the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah in Hebrew), when He ordained to blow the shofars – ram’s horns.  Today, the Jews call this day Rosh HaShanah or the Jewish New Year (or Feast of Trumpets), interchangeably.

Entering a New Season

Entering a new year is always meant to be special. We want to leave all our failures behind, and we look forward to new and better opportunities. Many of us treat entering a new year as a fresh start – like opening a blank slate, which we first fill only with sketches of dreams and expectations.

The shofar, which is more a horn than a trumpet, is a very important instrument in the history of Israel. The trumpets, according to Numbers 10:2-10, were used to summon the people or to warn of battle and approaching of the enemy. It was a plea to God for deliverance, and in a sense, that’s what the essence of Rosh HaShanah is.

Deliverance at Rosh HaShanah

The shofar’s blast is meant to awaken the spirit from dullness and haze which so easily encompasses it. The calloused, routine, and day-to-day life is placed on hold. Instead, a “solemn assembly” is commanded in order recognize and embrace the season at hand.

The main theme of Rosh HaShanah is liberation. The sound of the shofar is a call for busy and tired people to stop and look to the heavens. Do the people fear when the trumpet blows in the city? Amos 3:6.

A Promised Resurrection

In the New Testament, we find the words of the apostle Paul about the future gathering of believers around the Messiah. He writes that it will begin with the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep before, and then of all the living.

He explains that this gathering will begin with the sound of a trumpet – a shofar.

“For the Lord himself, at the command, will come down from heaven by the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of God;

then first those who have died in Christ will rise up, then we who survive will be caught up with them in the clouds in the air to meet the Lord; we will always be with the Lord anyway. So comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-18.

The Trumpet and Messiah’s Return

The Feast of Trumpets calls the people of Israel to prepare for the Messiah’s return at the End of Days. We do not know the day or the hour of His return.

“Rosh Hashanah” literally means “head of the year” and it is the first of the 3 Jewish Fall feasts.

Deciphering the Feast of Trumpets

By Matt Leasher

Every year when the Feast of Trumpets (a.k.a. Rosh Hashanah), rolls around, prophecy watchers go into what I call, “high alert” in anticipation for the Rapture of the Church.  I, myself, am one of those watchmen and this year (2022) there seems to be extra cause for excitement.

As many people may know, there are several similarities and parallels with the traditional aspects of the Feast of Trumpets compared to the Rapture, especially when viewed from the Jewish perspective.  I recently came across a list of all the different Jewish names for the Feast of Trumpets and their meanings. I’d like to list them here with their meanings and their parallels to the characteristics of the Rapture of the Church and their possible relevance to this year!  But first, please understand that I am not date setting, but rather discerning the times as our Lord calls us to do!

Names Associated with the Feast of Trumpets:

Rosh Hashanah – means “head of the year” and is the New Year on the Jewish calendar (Tishri 1), and is designated by the New Moon.

Teshuvah – signifies repentance.  The Hebrew month prior to Tishri is Elul and it is designated as the month of repentance. It is customary to blow the shofar every day (except on Shabbat), leading up to the Feast of Trumpets.

Yom Teruah – designated as the “Day of Shouting” accompanied by the “Awakening Blast” to call those that are sleeping in the dust to come to life.

At the Rapture the Lord will come with a “shout” and a “trumpet” when He first resurrects those that sleep in Christ and then translates us Christians who are alive to join them!

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet (shofar) of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Yom HaDin – means “The Day of Judgment”.   The “Judgment Seat of Christ” (NWN; ‘BEMA SEAT’) will likely occur immediately after the Rapture where all believers in Christ are judged for their works and given the crowns that they earned. (see Romans 14:10-12; 1 Corinthians 3:13-15; and 2 Corinthians 5:10)

For those that don’t go in the Rapture, it will certainly be a day of judgment for them as they will have to face the 21 sets of divine judgments that are outlined in Revelation chapters 6 through 18.  It is important to note that the church is not mentioned once in any of those chapters. (NWN; 7 Seals, 7 Trumpets, 7 Vials or Bowls).

Yom HaMelech – relates to the Lord being recognized as King of the universe. The coronation of kings traditionally occurred on this day and we can surmise that the coronation of the King Messiah will occur on a future Feast of Trumpets, perhaps at the Second Coming.

It is interesting to note that Stephen was the first martyr of the Church Age and that the “crown of life” that Jesus offers to the church of Smyrna in Revelation 2:10 is called the “stephanos” in the Greek, likely named after Stephen. This makes Stephen the first member of the “bride of Christ” to enter heaven.

When Stephen was about to die he saw Christ “standing” from His seat next to the Father to welcome him home.  When the Rapture occurs Christ will once again leave from His seat next to the Father to come and get the last remaining members of the bride of Christ.  There are some theologians that believe Stephen was martyred on the Feast of Trumpets, possibly even as early as the same year that Christ was crucified.

Chevlai shel Mashiach – is a Hebrew phrase meaning “birth pangs of the Messiah” and is recognized as “the time of Jacob’s Trouble.”  Jacob’s name was changed to Israel after he wrestled with God (Genesis 32:28).

When Jesus was asked by the disciples about the end of the age, He told them that those days would be the beginning of “sorrows” (Matthew 24:8). The Greek word for sorrows is “odin” and it means “birth pangs.” The prophet Jeremiah spoke of the birth pangs of the Messiah in Jeremiah 30:6-7:

“Ask now and see,

Whether a man is ever in labor with child?

So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins

Like a woman in labor,

And all faces turned pale?

Alas! For the day is great,

So that none is like it;

And it is the time of Jacob’s trouble,

But he shall be saved out of it.”

The “time of Jacob’s trouble” is synonymous with “Daniel’s 70th Week” and the seven year Tribulation period. After the Rapture of the Church, the Lord’s attention will return to Israel as she suffers through the afflictions of the Tribulation period.

Kiddushin / Nesu’in – is the wedding ceremony and implies that the wedding of the Messiah will take place on the Feast of Trumpets.  When the Rapture occurs, Christ the Bridegroom will come to receive His bride and take her to His Father’s house. (John 14:1-4)

All of the similarities and parallels between the ancient Jewish wedding traditions and the Rapture of the Church are too extensive, to go into all of the details here.

Natzal –  or “the day of the natzal” and also refers to the resurrection of the dead.  Natzal in the Hebrew (Strong’s H5337), means “deliverance, to deliver, to snatch away,  take away, to rescue.”  Basically, “natzal” is the Hebrew correspondence to the Greek “harpazo” which means “rapture”!

Shofar HaGadol – refers to the “last trump.” The last trump blown after a series of trumpet blasts on the Feast of Trumpets is a long bellowing blast.  Paul referred to the “last trump” when he described the Rapture in 1 Corinthians 15:51-52.

“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet (shofar). For the trumpet (shofar) will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (1 Corinthians 15:51-52)

Yom Hakeseh – means “the hidden day”. Isaiah 26:19-21 mentions God’s people “hiding themselves” after the dead are raised and the Lord comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity.

Psalm 27:5 also reminds us:

“For in the time of trouble

He shall hide me in His pavilion;

In the secret place of His tabernacle

He shall hide me;

He shall set me high upon a rock.”

Rosh Hashanah has also been referred to as the “hidden day” because it is the only Feast of the Lord’s seven Feasts given in Leviticus 23 that begins on a New Moon.  The start of the Feast can’t be determined until the first sliver of the moon reappears, after it has come out of “hiding”, and is seen by two witnesses. Because of this there is a two day window when the Feast can begin, so no one knows the day or the hour!

Lastly, the Feast of Trumpets has also been termed as “The Day of the Opening of the Gates.”  In Jewish tradition the gates of heaven would open up on Rosh Hashanah allowing the sinner to repent before God and have his name written in the Book of Life that would then be sealed on the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur).

During this time the High Priest would go into a chamber in the Temple and “hide himself” from the people (Israel), until the Day of Atonement when he would then come out and determine whether Israel had been forgiven of sin or whether Israel would suffer judgment.

Currently our High Priest, Christ Jesus, is in heaven making intercession for the saints (Hebrews 4:14), and will soon be coming out of His place to judge the world for their iniquity (Isaiah 26:21).

In Revelation 4:1 the apostle John is raptured up to heaven to be shown the things that must come afterward, meaning after the Church Age that was outlined in the previous chapters 2 and 3.  When John is taken up it mentions that “a door was opened in heaven.”

Jesus said of Himself:

“I am the door, if anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and go in and out and find pasture.” (John 10:9)

If the Feast of Trumpets is known as the “opening of the gates”, then it certainly could apply to the Rapture of the Church where the Lord descends and the church ascends in and out of heaven!

With all of these parallels and similarities between the multiple meanings of the Feast of Trumpets and the Rapture of the Church followed by the Tribulation period, is it any wonder why prophecy watchers get excited when Rosh Hashanah comes around!

Jesus’ words in Revelation 3:3 clearly imply that the church IS supposed to be watching and knowing the “hour” of His return.

“Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.” (Revelation 3:3)

All of the seven letters to the churches end with the admonition:

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

Notice churches is plural.  So that message about watching and knowing the hour of His return applies to the entire Church Age. What we never want to do is be dogmatic about any certain date, but there is nothing wrong with being on high alert on one of the Lord’s feast days that He has ordained to be His appointments.

“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”  (Hebrews 10:24-25)

But how can they call on him (Jesus Christ) to save them unless they believe in him (Jesus Christ)? And how can they believe in him (Jesus Christ) if they have never heard about him (Jesus Christ)? And how can they hear about him (Jesus Christ) unless someone tells them?” —Romans 10:14

Make Your Decision for Christ NOW!!!!!!! Time is Up!!!!!!!

Jesus Christ’s Offer of Salvation:

The ABCs of Salvation through Jesus Christ (the Lamb)

A. Admit/Acknowledge/Accept that you are sinner. Ask God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins.

. . . “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23).

. . . “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10).

. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8).

B. Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that Jesus Christ is who He claimed to be; that He was both fully God and fully man and that we are saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. Put your trust in Him as your only hope of salvation. Become a son or daughter of God by receiving Christ.

. . . “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:15-17). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).

C. Call upon His name, Confess with your heart and with your lips that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

. . . “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10).

. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
