Ezekiel 33:2-6

“”When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman,

3, when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people,

4, then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head.

5, He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life.

6, But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman”s hand.” (Ezekiel 33:2-6)

Revelation 19:20

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Revelation 14:11

And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Pastor Mike Taylor;

Each of us are watchmen on the wall. If you stand behind a pulpit or preach to a congregation in whatever media you use, you have a responsibility to warn those who are in danger of hell fire and all that it represents. God does not send anyone to hell, as it is a decision that each of us must make, but the Word of God must start with men and women who are commissioned by God to take the Word of Truth to those who are in their sins.

Whether a minister believes he is a watchman or not, he is commissioned by God to spread the Gospel to the lost. He is to preach the penalty of sin. He is to abandon a feel good “gospel”, prosperity gospel, or a social speech of humanism and being just a “good citizen”. This won’t save anyone. It will not warn those who are walking the wide road and gate to destruction, but will only placate them that they are OK…they are not OK, as they do not have Jesus in their hearts. It is a minister’s job to take the message of salvation to his congregation, his community and the rest of the world.

Jan Markell, Olive Tree Ministries;

Prepping for ‘Mr. Fix-It’

Society is being prepped for the Antichrist, and as prophecy-loving believers try to warn, the words are falling on a lot of deaf ears.

The stage is being set for a closing act. The players are getting into their proper positions. Heads of state are meeting to plot and scheme and deny even more rights. In places like Australia, Lithuania, and Austria, good people are enemies of the state even though they are upstanding citizens.

World leaders have no comprehension they are majoring in minors. To them, it makes perfect sense to obsess over carbon emissions. During the Tribulation, this will fade from their memories as they cope with Seals and Trumpets and Bowls. These will spark “climate change” they cannot imagine!

Most receiving this newsletter are “watchmen.” Ezekiel 33 tells us that if you don’t warn, the blood is on your hands, so you cannot be silent.

Brace yourself to be shocked daily by things you read and watch. Satan is getting more active, and wickedness is rising, so God’s people must shine more brightly.

But for the believer, a glorious event will happen soon. It is known as the Rapture of the Church. It is any day. Any hour. Any minute. So don’t grow weary!

And yes, if a believer is a Rapture skeptic, they get the surprise of their life someday soon. Then you’ll have the privilege of saying, “I told you so.”

Won’t that be a glorious day?

Pastor Greg Laurie; Harvest Ministries

“God promises this in the book of Revelation, and He also gives us a promise of global peace. The Antichrist, however, will bring pseudo peace. During the first three-and-a-half years of the seven-year Tribulation, he will come across as a good guy. But in reality, he will be a bad guy. And the Scriptures say that he will use peace to deceive many. Ultimately, once Antichrist is taken out of the way, God will bring global peace.”

Revelation 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

Commentary; the rider is the ‘beast’ or ‘antichrist’. His being clothed in white suggests false righteousness, false peace and false authority. He has a bow, but no arrows. He rules with lies and threats, but no military or arms. He conquers and subjugates, not with force but with lies, deception, false covenants and false agreements. He is the world’s greatest ‘political’ leader and deceiver. He is the one who ‘confirms the false covenant of seven years with Jacob’ which starts the tribulation. You should know now of who I speak. His ‘crown’ represents authority, rulership and position. It even literally represents his ‘position’ as Crown Prince, once the tribulation begins. My discernment is that the ‘white horse upon which he sits’ is symbolically a white Arabian stallion.

Five-Fold Months of Torment by Satanic/Demonic Locusts:

  1. … “And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.” (Rev. 9:5). (Emphasis added).
  2. … “And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. (Rev. 9:10). (Emphasis added).

Commentary: 5 (five) months is a satanically determined period of time and is consistent with the Satanic number five (5). The fact that the time period referenced is exactly five (5) months clearly indicates that these locusts are demonic in nature and satanically empowered. There is double mention of power to hurt men for five (5) months. A doubling denotes God’s solid confirmation of a matter. Men are not demonically tormented for four or six months, but exactly five months (no more, no less).

9 And the fifth (5) angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. (NWN; these are the 144,000 ‘SEALED’ Jewish evangelists who HAVE the SEAL of GOD in their FOREHEADS. The opposite is those men who received the MARK of the BEAST in their Foreheads.)

5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five (5) months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.

8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.

9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.

10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five (5) months.

11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

Seven-fold Description of the Demonic Locusts from the Bottomless Pit:

  1. Shapes like horses prepared for battle. (Rev. 9:7)
  2. Appearance like gold crowns on their head. (Rev. 9:7)
  3. Faces like mens’ faces. (Rev. 9:7)
  4. Hair like the hair of women, teeth like lions. (Rev. 9:8)
  5. Wings that sounded like chariots with many horses, rushing to battle. (Rev. 9:9)
  6. Tails like scorpions, power to hurt men five months. (Rev. 9:10)
  7. Had a king named Abaddon or Apollyon. (Rev. 9:12)

Commentary: John did his best to describe things that he saw that were indescribable to him during his day. He had to use terms that would be familiar to both him and readers throughout the ages. I would have had just as much difficulty describing whatever John saw. These are demonic locusts (or some type of creature) from the bottomless pit. Most moviegoers are somewhat familiar with the Alien and Predator horror/science fiction movies starring Sigourney Weaver (Alien) and Arnold Swarzennegger (Predator). If you were John, sitting in a cave in Patmos, how would you describe the ‘Alien’ or ‘Predator’ creature if you were given a vision of such a demonic creature? My interpretation suggests that of a demonic creature. It was commanded of them that they should not hurt the grass, trees or anything green and only those men who do not have the seal of god in their foreheads. Modern weaponry is indiscriminate in what it destroys on the earth and would be unable to differentiate who is spiritually sealed by God. The demons who Christ cast out of people during his ministry on earth knew who Christ was and were very fearful of his authority. So to will these demons know who is ‘fair game to torment’ and who is not to be tormented. This has a supernatural element to it that modern weapons does not meet. Lastly, these verses are very specific where these creatures come from … the bottomless pit. For the sake of brevity, the Bible is clear that the bottomless pit was reserved for the worst and most demonic of fallen angels and creatures. Kind of like a ‘maximum security” prison.’

Then Hashem said to Moshe, “Hold out your arm over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come upon the land of Egypt and eat up all the grasses in the land, whatever the hail has left.”

Exodus 10:12

The eighth plague brought an unprecedented swarm of locusts into Egypt, a swarm that devoured every shred of grain and foliage that remained after the hail. The plague was so devastating that Pharaoh relented, openly repenting and begging that Moses and Aaron petition God on his behalf. But after a strong east wind blew the locusts into the Red Sea, God strengthened Pharaoh’s heart and he reneged.

God promised that a plague of locusts of the magnitude that hit Egypt will never be seen again (Exodus 10:14), yet if any of the plagues are making a comeback it is the locusts. Africa has been hit by a multi-year swarm that has the continent on the verge of famine. Swarms are often tens of square kilometers in size.  A swarm of just one square kilometer eats the same amount of food in one day as 35,000 people. The swarms can also travel 93 miles a day, making efforts to control an outbreak even more difficult. Officials warned that further rains in the region could lead to an even larger outbreak.

According to Jewish tradition, the ten plagues will reappear before the Messiah, as prophesied by Micah (Micah 7:15).

I will show him wondrous deeds As in the days when You sallied forth from the land of Egypt.

Jewish sources predict that all of the plagues will reappear in the final redemption but in even more powerful forms. It is written in Midrash Tanchuma, homiletic teachings collected around the fifth century, that “just as God struck the Egyptians with 10 plagues, so too He will strike the enemies of the Jewish people at the time of the Redemption.”

Daniel 9:26-27 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people [Palestinians, Arabs/Muslims] of the prince [Beast, Antichrist] that shall come shall destroy the city [Jerusalem] and the sanctuary [Third Temple];

This concept was explained by Rabbi Bahya ben Asher, a 13th-century Spanish commentator, who wrote, “In Egypt, God used only part of His strength. When the final redemption comes, God will show much, much more of His power.

Though normally eating bugs is a distinctly anti-kosher dietary option, locusts are the notable exception (Leviticus 11:22-23):

Of these you may eat the following: locusts of every variety; all varieties of bald locust; crickets of every variety; and all varieties of grasshopper. But all other winged swarming things that have four legs shall be an abomination for you.

For religious Jews, grasshoppers represent a flexible protein as it is classified as pareve, neither meat nor dairy. As such, they can be eaten with either dairy or meat.

An Israeli startup called Hargol is using high-tech farming to create this “Biblical protein” in a manner that may solve world hunger to the delight of both environmentalists and Biblical scholars alike. Grasshoppers are already the most popular insect eaten by humans, with 2.5 billion in Asia, Africa, and Central America. In some countries, grasshoppers are considered a delicacy and sold for exorbitant prices due to the short seasons during which the insect can be harvested in the wild. But Hargol is the first company that has succeeded in raising the insect.

PASSOVER: NEW WAVE OF LOCUST ‘PLAGUE’ HITS AFRICA, THIS TIME IT’S 20 TIMES BIGGER

BY ADAM ELIYAHU BERKOWITZ | APR 12, 2020 | BIBLICAL NEWS ISRAEL365.NEWS

A plague of locusts that struck Africa hard has returned with a vengeance and like the archetypal plague in Egypt. Billions of young locusts are spreading out from their breeding grounds in Somalia, newly hatched after seasonal rains, eating more than the older insects that passed through already.

A wave of locusts swept through East Africa last year but the current wave is estimated to be 20 times larger and is described as the worst in 70 (7) years. This wave very much resembles the Biblical plague in this respect, coming as part of a wave of catastrophes that left the land of Egypt bereft of any food.

Locusts invaded all the land of Egypt and settled within all the territory of Egypt in a thick mass; never before had there been so many, nor will there ever be so many again. They covered the face of the whole land, so that the land was darkened, and they ate all the plants in the land and all the fruit of the trees that the hail had left. Not a green thing remained, neither tree nor plant of the field, through all the land of Egypt. Exodus 10:14-15

Many farmers are prevented by pandemic lockdowns from going out to their fields to battle the swarms. In addition, the pandemic has slowed the delivery of vital pesticides and equipment fROm other countries. Many field officers have been prevented from tracking and reporting on the infestation due to restrictions.

The U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization has called the locust outbreak, caused in part by climate change, “an unprecedented threat” to food security and livelihoods. Its officials have called this new wave some 20 times the size of the first.

“The current situation in East Africa remains extremely alarming as … an increasing number of new swarms are forming in Kenya, southern Ethiopia and Somalia,” a new FAO assessment said.

In Ethiopia, six (6) million lives are at risk as the locust outbreak threatens to cause “large-scale crop, pasture and forest-cover loss, worsening food and feed insecurity,” according to the FAO.

And Ethiopia’s agriculture ministry says the problem is worsening as the locust swarms are now appearing in locations where they had not been previously sighted.

The organization predicts that favorable breeding conditions through May will likely produce another round of swarms in late June and July, coinciding with the start of the harvest season. The U.N. has raised its aid appeal from $76 million to $153 million, saying immediate action is needed before more rainfall fuels further growth in locust numbers. So far the FAO has collected $111 million in cash or pledges.

“Swarms are often tens of square kilometers in size,” the FAO explained. The FAO warned that a swarm of just one square kilometer eats the same amount of food in one day as 35,000 people. “A swarm the size of Bamako (Mali) or Niamey (Niger) can consume what half the population of either country would eat in a single day.”

The swarms also can travel 93 miles a day making efforts to control an outbreak even more difficult. Officials warned that further rains in the region could lead to an even larger outbreak.

The locusts are “invading the Eastern Africa region in exceptionally large swarms like never seen before,” the Nairobi-based Climate Prediction and Application Center said.

According to Locusts Watch’s three-month forecast, the threat will pass south of Israel before heading east towards Yemen, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, and Pakistan.

As if COVID-19 and locusts were not bad enough, a new case of Ebola virus, the second this month, was diagnosed in the city of Beni in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). As of 10 April 2020, 3456 confirmed and probable cases and 2276 deaths have occurred as a result of the outbreak.

Who Is Abaddon ‘King of the Demonic Locusts’ in the Bible?

As for the character of Abaddon, we only encounter this being in Revelation. He carries out his role during the fifth (5) trumpet of destruction, as we mentioned above with the locusts. They swarm out of a seemingly bottomless pit.

Hope Bolinger 2020 27 May Christianity.com

Also known as Apollyon, Abaddon makes an appearance in the last book of the New Testament: Revelation (Revelation 9:11). The name means destruction, so you can hazard a pretty good guess as to whether this being is good or bad.

Although Satan has gone by many names, Apollyon is not one of them. Abaddon appears to be a demon who works under him who rules an Abyss full of locusts that will arrive onstage during the Final Days. The locusts will bite, sting, or cause pain to those who do not believe in Jesus Christ.

Where do we see Abaddon (or the word destroyer) show up in the Bible? Why do we need to know his name if his locusts won’t affect believers in the End Times? We’ll dive into these questions and more in this article.

Where Do We See Abaddon in the Bible?

We do have to keep in mind that the Old Testament and the New Testament were written in different languages, so the Greek word for destroyer is going to be a different word than the Hebrew one.

We do see a similar word in the Old and New Testament, as highlighted in this article. Although we only see the instance in the latter half of the Bible in Revelation 9:11, five (5) verses in the Old Testament use the word.

Abaddon in the Old Testament appears to mean destructionJob 26:6 says that destruction exists in the realm of the dead known as Sheol (Hell, in essence). A similar definition of Abaddon operates in Psalm 88:11 and Proverbs 15:11.

As for the character of Abaddon, we only encounter this being in Revelation. He carries out his role during the fifth trumpet of destruction, as we mentioned above with the locusts. They swarm out of a seemingly bottomless pit.

We don’t appear to know much else about Abaddon, except for poetic licenses taken in Pilgrim’s Progress and other information presented in non-canonical texts such as Tobit and the Wisdom of Solomon.

In the Tobit text, Abaddon (operating under the name Asmodeus) kills seven husbands of a woman named Sarah. But because Tobit and the Wisdom of Solomon don’t fall into every Bible’s canon, we need to exercise discernment and caution whenever we read these texts.

Overall, we know that Abaddon has ties with destruction in both Testaments, and he appears to unleash misery via the form of sharp-toothed locusts in the last days.

Why Should We Care about the Locusts?

Especially with the killer bee problem, you’d think we’d give more clout to the locust texts in Revelation.

But why should believers care about what Abaddon does with the locusts? After all, the text makes it clear that the locusts will only torture those who do not believe in Jesus Christ.

And with the many believers who attest to the form of dispensationalism that states that Christians will be raptured prior to the tribulation, including the various plagues from the trumpets, why should we know Abaddon’s name and what he can do?

First, we should keep in mind that even if we know Jesus as our personal Savior, many of our friends and family do not. Even if Jesus were to rapture us prior to the seven trumpets, bowls, thunders, and other elements of his wrath, if the End Days come during our lifetime, people we know will experience the effects of the plagues. We want to help as many souls as possible to come and know our Savior prior to these events.

Second, we should also note that Abaddon, although named “the Destroyer,” doesn’t appear to be mortally destroying anyone. Similar to Satan and inflicting pain on Job (Job 1,2), even the powers of Hell cannot operate outside of God’s will. The Destroyer cannot completely destroy because God does not allow him to.

8 References to ‘BE WATCHING or WATCHFUL.’ ‘8’ indicates that a new ‘era or epoch’ is arriving. Be it the rapture, the tribulation, the year of the Jews redemption or the year of the onset (2028) of the 1000 year millennial reign of Christ (2028-3028).

Matthew 24:42; Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Matthew 25:13; Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Mark 13:35; Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning.

Luke 21:36; Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man

Luke 12:37-39; Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

Make Your Decision for Christ NOW!!!!!!! Time is Up!!!!!!!

Jesus Christ’s Offer of Salvation:

The ABCs of Salvation through Jesus Christ (the Lamb)

A. Admit/Acknowledge/Accept that you are sinner. Ask God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins.

. . . “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23).

. . . “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10).

. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8).

B. Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that Jesus Christ is who He claimed to be; that He was both fully God and fully man and that we are saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. Put your trust in Him as your only hope of salvation. Become a son or daughter of God by receiving Christ.

. . . “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:15-17). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).

C. Call upon His name, Confess with your heart and with your lips that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

. . . “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10).

. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (John 1:8-10).

. . . “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (John 2:2).

. . . “In this was manifested the love of god toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:9, 14-15).

. . . “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:8-10).

. . . “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23).

. . . “Jesus saith unto them, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6).

. . . “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.” (Romans 1:16).

. . . “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts: 4:12).

. . . “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 2:4-6).

. . . “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:9).

. . . “But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1:12).

True Church / Bride of Christ Spared from God’s Wrath:

Romans 5:8-10. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”

Romans 12:19. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 1:10. And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

1 Thessalonians 5:9. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Romans 8:35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Jeremiah 30:7. Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
