Jesus indicated that one (of many) signs of the end times or the end of the age grace would be that love for one another would grow cold. Matthew 24:12, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” This can also be interpreted that lawlessness will abound. This includes violence, murder, terrorism, shootings, abortion, sexual attacks, knife attacks, car/van attacks, chemical attacks and other similar acts of destructive and evil behavior. Yes, these things have occurred in time past. But consider the frequency, intensity and devastation of these types of attacks and mass school shootings. They are like birth pangs in frequency and intensity. This is just one part of the CONVERGENCE or CONVERGING of signs.

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Five (5)-fold Evils Born of the Spirit of Iniquity:

1. P … “I will ascend into heaven.” (position)
2. R … “I will rule at my throne above the stars of God.” (rule)
3. I … “I will be idolized or worshipped.” (idolized)
4. D … “I will be dazzling.” (dazzling)
5. E … “I will be equal to God.” (equal)

Commentary: Satan’s five (5) “I WILLS,” have his evil fingerprints over everything evil in the book of Revelation. His desire to counterfeit everything that God accomplished through his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, is manifested in the Babylonian system (compared to heaven), Babylonian City (compared to New, Heavenly Jerusalem), Babylonian False Mystery Religion (compared to the true worship of God/Jesus Christ), beast/antichrist (compared to Jesus Christ), false prophet (compared to John the Baptist), lake of fire death (compared to eternal life through Jesus Christ). Satan is the consummate ‘puppet master’, pulling the strings of the beast/antichrist and the false prophet to deceive mankind with his false, evil promises compared to the truth of salvation provided and offered by Jesus Christ.

Revelation 13:2-4

And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

Five (5) references to ‘beast.’ 5 denotes satanic influence over evil men.

Chicago weekend violence has left least at least 55 people shot, five fatally, since 6 p.m. on Friday, police said.

ALEXIS MCADAMS: From community policing in these neighborhoods to also holding prayer vigils continuously so far in the past few months for people who have been shot and killed in Chicago, these leaders in these neighborhoods across the city are trying to do everything they can to curb crime. But coming off of yet another violent weekend here in the city, Chicago police are working on new tactics.

Shell casings and crime-scene tape lined the street in the city’s Burnside neighborhood, marking the spot where at least eight people were shot around 4:00 o’clock this morning after dozens of gunshots were fired into a crowd at a party on the city’s South side.

DONOVAN PRICE: There was a lot of people and a lot of shooting. So they didn’t know which direction to run or where to hide.

ALEXIS MCADAMS: Donovan Price is a street pastor. He tells me he was listening to calls over the police scanner and went out to the scene on 89th and Cottage Grove overnight.

DONOVAN PRICE: Because there were people coming up shot in the leg and people this and that. Some people, even shot, still walking around. It’s so chaotic. Everyone’s looking for people, which hospital did they go to.

ALEXIS MCADAMS: Investigators say those shots were fired from a silver sedan. Six men and two women among the wounded. More than 50% (5) of the people injured are in serious to critical condition.

DONOVAN PRICE: One girl I remember there last night was just crying the entire time, asking for a phone. I can’t even call my mother. I can’t even call for a ride. She said she heard bullets going past her head.

ALEXIS MCADAMS: The mass shooting one of several crime scenes across Chicago. The city preparing for the summer months. This is just the intro.

DONOVAN PRICE: This afternoon, community leaders gathering at this antiviolence rally. Their goal, at least one summer day without any crime, launching a youth mentorship program focused on making change and curbing crime.

GERI JONES: I will no longer sit idle and let this crime continue in my community. Because just because you’re a child didn’t get hurt this time it does not mean that it won’t be your child the next time.

ALEXIS MCADAMS: Now, following this violent weekend as we continue to tally up those shootings, including the fatal shootings, at least five killed just since Friday night so far, investigators with Chicago Police, including superintendent David Brown, plan to hold a press conference tomorrow morning to talk more about their summer violence plans.
