Jesus indicated that one (of many) signs of the end times or the end of the age grace would be that love for one another would grow cold. Matthew 24:12, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” This can also be interpreted that lawlessness will abound. This includes violence, murder, terrorism, shootings, abortion, sexual attacks, knife attacks, car/van attacks, chemical attacks and other similar acts of destructive and evil behavior. Yes, these things have occurred in time past. But consider the frequency, intensity and devastation of these types of attacks and mass school shootings. They are like birth pangs in frequency and intensity. This is just one part of the CONVERGENCE or CONVERGING of signs.

The violence on Monday and Tuesday followed a weekend in which Chicago witnessed at least 50 (5) people shot, five (5) fatally. The Monday shootings in Philadelphia followed a weekend of violence in the city that left behind more than 30 (6×5) victims.

Fifteen people were shot, one fatally, on Tuesday alone in Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) Chicago.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports the Tuesday fatality was as 42-year-old man who was shot in the head in the middle of the afternoon. He was “in the 9300 block of South Halsted Street” when he was shot, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Sun-Times reported Mayor Lightfoot’s (D) Chicago saw over 20 people shot on Monday, and two of them fatally.

The first of Monday’s fatalities was 29-year-old Kevin Garcia, who was shot in a drive-by incident “about 12:50 a.m. in the 2400 block of South Trumbull Avenue.”

He was taken to a hospital where he died.

Monday’s second fatality was an 18-year-old who was shot and killed around 11:45 p.m., “in the 1700 block of North Luna Avenue.” The 18-year and another individual were shot when “multiple people got out of a white sedan” and opened fire.

The violence on Monday and Tuesday followed a weekend in which Chicago witnessed at least 50 (5) people shot, five (5) fatally.

Breitbart News reported at least 13 people were shot Monday alone in Mayor Jim Kenney’s (D) Philadelphia.

The Monday shootings in Philadelphia followed a weekend of violence in the city that left behind more than 30 (6×5) victims. NBC Philadelphia reported that seven of the weekend shooting victims later succumbed to their wounds.

B. Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that Jesus Christ is who He claimed to be; that He was both fully God and fully man and that we are saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. Put your trust in Him as your only hope of salvation. Become a son or daughter of God by receiving Christ.

C. Call upon His name, Confess with your heart and with your lips that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

1 Thessalonians 1:10. And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

1 Thessalonians 5:9. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Romans 8:35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
