Update of Lawlessness and Violence

‘Love Waxing Cold,’ increasing (5) violence, hate, attacks, homicide and destruction; ‘Gentle giant’ dad, 24, was beaten to death by five (5) thugs. The dad-of-one is said to have stepped in to help an older man who was being attacked outside the pub.

Jesus indicated that one (of many) signs of the end times or the end of the age grace would be that love for one another would grow cold. Matthew 24:12, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” This can also be interpreted that lawlessness will abound. This includes violence, murder, terrorism, shootings, abortion, sexual attacks, knife attacks, car/van attacks, chemical attacks and other similar acts of destructive and evil behavior. Yes, these things have occurred in time past. But consider the frequency, intensity and devastation of these types of attacks and mass school shootings. They are like birth pangs in frequency and intensity. This is just one part of the CONVERGENCE or CONVERGING of signs.

A “GENTLE giant” dad was allegedly beaten to death by five thugs outside a Wetherspoons pub as he tried to break up a fight.

The good Samaritan, named locally as Reece Cox, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene after officers were called to The Clifton in Sedgley, West Midlands, shortly before midnight on Saturday.

The dad-of-one is said to have stepped in to help an older man who was being attacked outside the pub.

A man who was at The Clifton on Saturday night told The Sun Online: “There was a group of young lads having an argument at the taxi by the pub.

“There was screaming and shouting and glasses breaking but they disappeared saying they’d be back at midnight.

“They came back and started picking on a older man in the street. I saw (Reece) outside trying to help the older bloke and he just got battered to death.

“It was all kicks and punches, no weapons and he was left to die as they ran off. It was horrendous.”

Reece’s heartbroken girlfriend wept as she placed flowers at the scene today.

She said: “I’m devastated. I can’t believe I’ve lost my boyfriend. I needed to be here.”

‘DIDN’T DESERVE TO DIE’

Forensics officers were seen scouring the crime scene for evidence on Sunday and a blue tent was set up at the scene.

A close friend of Reece said this morning: “He didn’t deserve to die like this. He was a gentle giant, not a vengeful lad.

“He was trying to protect someone in trouble, an older man who was being attacked. He wouldn’t harm a fly.”

Describing Reece, the tearful pal who did not wish to be named, added: “He was a tall, big, good looking guy and everyone loved him.

“He had a little lad Cruz, who he doted on and named after David Beckham’s youngest son. He’s only four and has no daddy now. It’s so sad.”

Local resident, Jeanette Clouds said: “He wasn’t stabbed, but was trying to break up a fight between a group of lads and some of them turned on him. He got beaten up and hit over the head and he passed away.”

Another witness who did not want to be named added: “There were five lads on one, the bouncers didn’t do anything to stop it, if they had only stepped in to help, the lad could still be alive.”

A Wetherspoon spokesperson yesterday insisted that security guards had tried to save the life of dying Reece.

He told The Sun Online: “The door staff are not employed directly by Wetherspoons but by a local company we are not naming.

“The door staff put the young man in the recovery position outside the pub but unfortunately he passed away.

“We extend our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of the individual who passed away.”

TRIBUTES PAID

Tributes have since poured in for the dad-of-one, with one pal writing on Facebook: “Rest in peace brother, you were only trying to do the right thing and will forever be remembered for your kind, gentle actions towards others.”

Another person wrote: “RIP Reece. Your baby will be taught what a real man his dad was. You’re in a better place.”

Others have laid flowers at the scene, with one note reading: “RIP big fella, love and thoughts during these sad times.”

Police have launched a murder probe and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Det Insp Laura Harrison, of Force CID, said: “Our thoughts are with the family of this young man who has sadly lost his life.

“We are in the early stages of our investigations but we understand he may have tried to intervene in a fight when he was fatally injured.

“I believe the community of Sedgley will respond as we appeal for anyone we have not yet spoken with and who may have information about what happened last night to get in touch with us.”

‘ATTACKED BY GROUP’

JD Wetherspoon spokesman Eddie Gershon told Black Country Live:  “The pub’s CCTV shows a group of males by the taxi rank at the side of the pub attacking another male.

“The individual managed to get away and ran to the front of the pub where he was let in for his own safety.

“The group then started attacking another male. Once the group dispersed, door staff at the pub went to assist him on the floor putting him in the recovery position.

“We understand that this person died on his way to the hospital.

“No members of the group or the two men who were attacked had been in the pub.”

Dudley Neighbourhood Commander Jason Anderson, said: “Neighbourhood officers from Dudley will be patrolling the area over the coming days to provide reassurance and visibility to our communities who will have been affected by this incident.”

Make Your Decision for Christ NOW!!!!!!! Time is Up!!!!!!!

Jesus Christ’s Offer of Salvation:

The ABCs of Salvation through Jesus Christ (the Lamb)

A. Admit/Acknowledge/Accept that you are sinner. Ask God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins.

. . . “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23).

. . . “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10).

. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8).

B. Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that Jesus Christ is who He claimed to be; that He was both fully God and fully man and that we are saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. Put your trust in Him as your only hope of salvation. Become a son or daughter of God by receiving Christ.

. . . “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:15-17). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).

C. Call upon His name, Confess with your heart and with your lips that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

. . . “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10).

. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (John 1:8-10).

. . . “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (John 2:2).

. . . “In this was manifested the love of god toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:9, 14-15).

. . . “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:8-10).

. . . “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23).

. . . “Jesus saith unto them, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6).

. . . “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.” (Romans 1:16).

. . . “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts: 4:12).

. . . “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 2:4-6).

. . . “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:9).

. . . “But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1:12).
