Unprecedented rainfall kills hundreds in Central Africa with nearly one million displaced and thousands of hectares flooded: Rainfall 300% (3) above average. Emphatic and Intense Rainfall. An incredible downpour delivered two years of rainfall in just one day on the small East African nation of Djibouti. Affecting more than 250,000 (5×5) people. ALL five’s (5) and six’s (6).

Blog note. Jesus indicated that ‘fearful sights’ (various natural disasters) would occur leading up to the time known as the Tribulation and Great Tribulation (a combined seven year period of great destruction on earth). Although these types of things have occurred in the past for centuries and thousands of years, they could be identified as the ‘season of the times’ due to the ferociousness of these events. They would be occurring in greater intensity, severity, frequency, size, duration, scope … just like the pains that a woman experiences in labor the farther along she is in the labor process. We are in the ‘season of the times’ that comes just before the seven (7) year Tribulation/Great Tribulation period

… And great earthquakes shall be in diverse places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. (Luke 21:11).

… And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; (Luke 21:25)

… Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken; (Luke 21:26)

… This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (2 Timothy 3:1)
Jesus is giving a series of prophecies about what to look for as the age of grace comes to a close. These verses are several of many such prophecies from throughout the Bible. 2017 was the worst year in recorded history for the intensity, frequency, severity, duration and occurrence of a large number of severe natural disasters worldwide. Earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes, typhoons, cyclones, torrential flooding, unprecedented wildfires in unusual places, devastating droughts, excessive/scorching heat setting records everywhere, record snowfalls in Europe and Russia. Snow in the Arabia. This list can go on. Most studied Eschatologists believe these ‘fearful sights’ and massive natural disasters are all part of the ‘CONVERGENCE’ of signs that this Biblical and prophetic age is closing. Most people who study prophecy are familiar with the routine reference(s) made that these things will be like a woman having labor.

The Big Wobble. November 30, 2019

An incredible downpour delivered two years of rainfall in just one day on the small East African nation of Djibouti as East Africa continues to suffer astonishing downpours which started in October. Apparently, rainfall from October to mid-November has been up to 300% above average in the Horn of Africa region affecting more than 250,000 (5×5) people.

Meanwhile, flooding in nearby Kenya has affected more than 160,000 people since the onset of the rains in October, according to the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS). At least 120 (6+6) people have reportedly died, including dozens who lost their lives after a landslide in West Pokot County on 23 November. KRCS said that nearly 18,000 (6+6+6) who are displaced countrywide, including 10,000 (5+5) in West Pokot County. According to the Kenyan government, over 15,000 (5+5+5) houses have been destroyed across the country.

In neighbouring Somalia, over 500,000 (5) people have now been affected by the ongoing floods. With homes destroyed and crops devastated, flood-hit communities are in desperate need of assistance, says the UN. Heavy rains in Somalia and the Ethiopian highlands caused the Shabelle and Juba Rivers to overflow. Flooding has now affected over 500,000 (5) people in Somalia, of whom 360,000 (6×6) are displaced from their homes, according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). Flooding began around 21 October and has destroyed farmland and infrastructure and devastated livelihoods in some of the worst-hit areas. At least 18 (6+6+6) people have died, roads and homes destroyed, and about 10,000 (5+5) hectares of crops flooded.

While the capital city Kinshasa is dealing with devastating flash floods and landslides which have left more than 40 people dead, northern provinces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo are experiencing some of the worst flooding for 25 (5×5) years. Flooding began back in October after heavy rains caused the Ubangi and Congo rivers and tributaries to overflow. Initially, Wide areas of North and South Ubangi provinces were affected. Since then the flood situation has worsened, affecting five (5) other provinces, including 1. Mongala, 2. Maniema, 3. Bas-Uélé, 4. Haut-Uélé and 5. Tshopo. 1. North Ubangi, 2. South Ubangi and 3. Mongala are the worst affected provinces, according to the UN. Schools, bridges, water points, churches, hygiene facilities, farmland and hundreds of shelters have been destroyed. As of 27 November, the UN says that over 225,000 (5×5) people across the three (3) provinces are in need of humanitarian assistance. It is estimated that over 235,000 people have been affected by the flooding South Ubangi. Charity Caritas-Congo reported 10 (5+5) flood-related deaths in North Ubangi, where around 180,000 (6+6+6) people have been affected. The situation is expected to deteriorate as the rainy season extends into December.

In the Central African Republic, flooding began around 21 October after a period of heavy rain caused rivers, including the Ubangi, to overflow. By mid-November, flooding had destroyed 10,000 (5+5) homes and impacted some 55,000 (5)people, according to the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC). Many of those homes were in areas around the capital, Bangui. In a report of 22 November, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) said that about 100,000 (5+5) people are now affected by the floods, including more than 33,000 (3) people in Bangui and Bimbo. Other six (6) areas affected are the prefectures of 1. Basse-Kotto, 2. Lobaye, Mbomou, 3. Nana-Gribizi, 4. Ombella M’Poko, 5. Ouaka and 6.  Ouham
