Spain weather forecast: Spain to hit 108F – health warning as humans DIE at 108F heat

Blog note. Jesus indicated that ‘fearful sights’ (various natural disasters) would occur leading up to the time known as the Tribulation and Great Tribulation (a combined seven year period of great destruction on earth). Although these types of things have occurred in the past for centuries and thousands of years, they could be identified as the ‘season of the times’ due to the ferociousness of these events. They would be occurring in greater intensity, severity, frequency, size, duration, scope … just like the pains that a woman experiences in labor the farther along she is in the labor process. We are in the ‘season of the times’ that comes just before the seven (7) year Tribulation/Great Tribulation period
… And great earthquakes shall be in diverse places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. (Luke 21:11).
… And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; (Luke 21:25)
… Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken; (Luke 21:26)
… This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (2 Timothy 3:1)
Jesus is giving a series of prophecies about what to look for as the age of grace comes to a close. These verses are several of many such prophecies from throughout the Bible. 2017 was the worst year in recorded history for the intensity, frequency, severity, duration and occurrence of a large number of severe natural disasters worldwide. Earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes, typhoons, cyclones, torrential flooding, unprecedented wildfires in unusual places, devastating droughts, excessive/scorching heat setting records everywhere, record snowfalls in Europe and Russia. Snow in the Arabia. This list can go on. Most studied Eschatologists believe these ‘fearful sights’ and massive natural disasters are all part of the ‘CONVERGENCE’ of signs that this Biblical and prophetic age is closing. Most people who study prophecy are familiar with the routine reference(s) made that these things will be like a woman having labor pains, growing in intensity, frequency, size and duration.

Spain weather forecast: Spain to hit 108F – health warning as humans DIE at 108F heat

SPAIN has been at the centre of a savage heatwave which hit mainland Europe this week. Spanish weather forecasts are now expecting the mercury to hit 108F (42C) in many holiday resorts popular with Brits – a temperature high enough to kill humans.

The country is set to experience scorching weather for six days right into early July. The blazing heat has already caused seven deaths across Europe and has seen animals roasted alive as wildfires rage across Spain. A Spanish meterologist claimed that “hell is coming” as the European heatwave begins to cause sizzling temperatures across the continent. But can these temperatures really kill?

Deaths so far

The heatwave shows no sign of relenting and swathes across the continent are experiencing extreme heat leading to the deaths of seven people.

A 17-year-old boy died in hospital this morning after suffering heat exhaustion while working in the countryside in Cordoba in southern Spain.

An 80-year-old man in Valladolid, northern Spain, has also died, his death being blamed on the heat.

Two men aged 70 and 75, and a 62-year-old woman died in the south of France from suspected cold shock after entering water to escape the blistering heat.

In Italy, two elderly men have died from heatstroke while seven cities have been put on red alert for extreme temperatures.

What does the Spanish weather forecast look like?

Temperatures are expected to soar above 40C in Spain this week as Saharan wind brings stifling heat to mainland Europe.

In France, the current heatwave has been compared to one it experienced almost 16 years ago which left thousands dead.

Yesterday a red alert was issued in two Spanish provinces due to the heatwave and this has been extended to seven today.

According to state forecaster AEMET, the State Meteorological Agency, a red alert is issued when extreme weather poses an “extreme risk” to people’s health.

Residents have been advised to stay out of the sun during the hottest part of the day.

According to AEMET, there are colour-coded according to four risk assessment categories: green no risk, yellow risk, orange important risk and red extreme risk.

These risk levels are calculated based on the maximum temperatures that could be reached and the subsequent dangers.

A risk means the temperatures will reach a maximum of 38C, an important risk is a maximum temperature of 40C while an extreme risk is a maximum temperature of 42C.

On Friday eight provinces in Spain have been issued with extreme risk warnings, 19 provinces have important risk warnings and nine provinces have been issued with a yellow risk warning.

What temperature would kill you?

The normal body temperature is 37C and anything above 38C is considered to be a fever.

If it heats up to 39-40C, the brain tells the muscles to slow down and fatigue sets in.

Weakness and exhaustion occur, but are not in themselves a serious threat to health.

At 40-41C, heat exhaustion, a condition whose symptoms may include heavy sweating and a rapid pulse, a result of your body overheating, is likely.

Heat exhaustion is one of three heat-related syndromes, with heat cramps being the mildest and heatstroke being the most severe.

For temperatures above 41C, the body begins to shut down.

Chemical processes start to be affected, the cells inside the body deteriorate and there is a risk of multiple organ failure.

The body cannot even sweat at this point because blood flow to the skin stops, making it feel cold and clammy.

These more serious fevers, where body temperatures rise to 42.22C or more, can result in convulsions and death.
