Commentary: Notice that (s)erpent in not capitalized, serpent is used as a descriptive element. It is intended to describe Satan/Devil as a serpent. In the garden of Eden, a serpent deceived and lied to Eve. (s)erpent is thus a reference to describe Satan/Devil as a liar and deceiver. Using the meaning of universalness and foursquareness, Satan/Devil is universally and completely a liar and deceiver, no matter from which angle you view him. Lying and deception envelope him on all sides of his being.
