Earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes, typhoons, cyclones, torrential flooding, unprecedented wildfires in unusual places, devastating droughts, excessive/scorching heat setting records everywhere, record snowfalls in Europe and Russia. Most studied eschatologists believe these ‘fearful sights’ and massive natural disasters are all part of the ‘CONVERGENCE’ of signs that this Biblical and prophetic age is closing. Most people who study prophecy are familiar with the routine reference(s) made that these things will be like a woman having labor pains that occur in greater severity, frequency, size and duration prior to giving birth. Landslide in central Colombian town kills 11, others missing

BOGOTA (Reuters) – An overnight landslide caused by heavy rains killed 11 people, including four children, in the central Colombian town of Marquetalia, the country’s disaster relief agency said on Thursday. The landslide, which occurred around 2:30 a.m. local time, sent part of a hillside onto several houses, photos posted on Twitter by the disaster relief agency for Caldas province showed.

“The official information of what occurred in Marquetalia is of 11 people dead, the number of the missing is still not exact and the terrain is being evaluated for a preventative evacuation of families,” the provincial agency said. The landslide also injured four people, the national disaster relief agency said in a statement, adding that rescue operations are temporarily suspended because of continuing rain. Vice-President Marta Lucia Ramirez will visit the area with disaster officials, President Ivan Duque told journalists after arriving in eastern Arauca province for a security meeting.

Landslides are common in mountainous Colombia, especially during rainy season and in areas where precarious informal housing and narrow roadways are constructed on deforested Andean hillsides. Some 300 people were killed in a massive landslide in the southern city of Mocoa last year. The government has said millions of Colombians could be at risk because of natural disasters such as landslides and flooding.
