The First Authentic and Kosher Perfect Red Heifer in 2000 Years in the Land of Israel

Blog note. The significance of this event can’t be understated. However, a full analysis of this event would take more than a short blog note or mention of the event. In a nutshell, this event is EXTREMELY important to the Jews and Israel. The existence of a ‘red heifer’ allows them to once again begin commencement of animal sacrifice for the atonement of their sins (in their soon-to-be or forthcoming rebuilt Jewish Temple). The Jews, unfortunately rejected Jesus Christ when He first came to be their Messiah. Instead, they continued to believe in the sacrificial death of animals instead of the sacrifice that Jesus paid for them so many centuries ago. The Temple institute in Israel is tasked with recreating or finding original Jewish Temple instruments of worshipping, genetic heirs of the original priests, the identification and guarding of a potential red heifer candidate for future sacrificial purposes, and so on. Many (most) of the instruments are awaiting use, a corner stone for the Temple has been created, appropriate priests have been identified through genetic heritage, the Temple plans have already been completed, ritualistic services have already been practiced and performed. The Jews are just awaiting the ‘right time’ in which to begin commencement of building their Temple.

Prophetically speaking, it is believed that the Jews will not feel confident enough to begin construction of their forthcoming Tribulation Temple, until they feel “safe and secure” in their country. This will most likely be a result of their “covenant of death” for peace and safety that will be ratified and endorsed by the antichrist/beast/man of sin. The antichrist/beast allows the Jews to build their Temple (and to conduct their red heifer sacrifices) for the first 3 ½ years of the Tribulation. Midway through the Tribulation, the beast/antichrist will force the Jews to stop their red heifer sacrifices, and attempt to force them to worship him as god, via the “Abomination of Desolation.” The point of the article below is to just note, that prophetically speaking, the fact that a red heifer now exists is HUGE because logically, it is a precursor prophecy that has to take place BEFORE the Jews can commence building their Temple AND to conduct animal sacrifices for the atonement of their sins based on historical Jewish laws of antiquity. The Bible indicates that all of these prophecies will to come to pass, all because the Jews originally rejected Jesus Christ as the sacrificial Lamb for ALL of men’s sins, including their sins. Once the beast/antichrist causes the “Abomination of Desolation” in the rebuilt Temple, the Jews will realize their “mistake” of having believed in the wrong messiah – the beast/antichrist, and for having rejected their true Messiah, Jesus Christ for over 2,000 years. Many Jews, at that time, will come to believe in and accept Jesus Christ for who he is and what he has done for all of mankind, past – present – future. Yes, the birth/existence of a red heifer is a big deal, since one has just come onto the scene. Is this birth just a coincidence? In light of every other converging sign noted in this blog? What do you think? You don’t have to be an expert in Judaism or Jewish law to understand the significance of this event. It is just another sign in the convergence of many signs. End of note.

The First Authentic and Kosher Perfect Red Heifer in 2000 Years in the Land of Israel

The Temple Institute In Jerusalem Announces That A Red Heifer Candidate Has Been Born In Israel.

The Temple Institute is now beginning one of its most ambitious projects to date: Restoring the Divine commandment of the Red Heifer, enabling the return of tahara, the state of Biblical purity to the world. This is an integral part of the prophesied promise of the elevation and unity of all humanity.

FROM THE TEMPLE INSTITUTE: On the 17th day of Elul, 5778, (August 28, 2018), a red heifer was born in the land of Israel. The red heifer candidate is being raised and specially cared for under the auspices of the Temple Institute’s ‘Raise a Red Heifer’ program.

One week after its birth the heifer underwent an extensive examination by rabbinical experts, who determined that the heifer is currently a viable candidate for the Biblical red heifer (para aduma) described in Numbers, chapter 19, and will be examined again in three months time to determine whether it continues to possess the necessary qualifications for the red heifer, a necessary prerequisite for the renewal of the Divine service in the Holy Temple.

What is a Red Heifer? Why Do We Need One?

“This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:” Numbers 19:2 (KJV)

The Red Heifer is a female cow, three years of age, with perfect consistency of a particular reddish hue, having not even two hairs of any other color. The heifer also may never be used for any type of labor, and must be totally blemish-free.  The ordinance of the para aduma, the Red Heifer, is found in the Torah, in the book of Numbers Chapter 19, and elucidated in the teachings of the Sages of Israel. The process of purification through the Red Heifer is the only antidote to the state of impurity caused by death, and thus, intrinsically imperative for the reestablishment of purity.

What’s the Difference Between an Ordinary Red Cow, and a Proper Red Heifer?

Red cattle can be found throughout the world, and are not uncommon. However, raising a perfect red heifer in accordance with Biblical requirements for the fulfillment of the Numbers Ch. 19 commandment is a daunting task requiring advance planning, exacting preparation and constant supervision. In order for a heifer to be considered kosher for the Biblical use, it must literally be raised from birth under specific circumstances and in a controlled environment.

The Project Has Begun: A Change in Conception

In the past the people of Israel waited for the birth of a potential Red Heifer. But with Torah knowledge and advanced science, the Temple Institute has now begun to actively pursue this commandment.  For this unprecedented project, the Temple Institute has joined forces with experienced cattle ranchers here in Israel. These experts in the science of animal husbandry, under the halachic supervision and guidance of the rabbis of the Temple Institute, will utilize the technique of implanting the frozen embryos of Red Angus cattle in Israeli domestic cattle.  The end result of this program will be the introduction of the Red Angus breed into Israel. This method, authorized and approved by Israel’s Ministry of Agriculture, has already proven successful with the birth of a number of male Red Angus. The location and other details of the cattle ranch will remain undisclosed to the general public during the initial stages of the project. The Temple Institute will release periodic progress updates.

  • embryo implantation
  • veterinary care, upkeep, and feed
  • special supervised arrangements for care in accordance with Biblical law
  • infrastructure for the controlled environment of the herd
  • identification and separate care of candidates for perfect Red Heifers
  • security arrangements including 24 hour video surveillance and monitoring
  • the publication of original, ground-breaking halachic research and findings

The successful introduction of perfect Red Heifers to Israel is the first project of a multi-level program that will span a number of years. Future stages of the purity restoration program will include:   Expansion of the curriculum and faculty of the Temple Institute’s acclaimed Nezer HaKodesh Academy for Priestly Studies to include the training of prospective priests-in-training in all aspects of the precept of the Red Heifer; The identification and selection of kohanim (descendants of the priestly tribe of Aaron) whose state of purity enables them to attend to the preparation of the Red Heifer; The documentation and provision of the precise location on the Mount of Olives for the heifer’s preparation.
