By taking the Bible literally and doing the math, a discerning eschatologist can determine the resulting destruction of Gog/Magog’s military forces. The Bible is very clear that 5/6^th of the forces are destroyed and 1/6^th are left alive. All we need to find out or know is approximately how many forces are available or will be possibly committed to coming against Israel. The following numbers are adequate as it is statistically unlikely that these numbers would change significantly in the next several years. The numbers are staggering, even by today’s standards. The only way to comprehend these is to take them literally, as applied from the Bible in Ezekiel 38-39. Once the numbers are calculated it becomes extremely obvious how the beast’s ten (10) nation confederacy can take over the Western Hemisphere’s military dominance. Russia’s/Putin’s defeat has left Russia’s military might inconsequential. The United States military strength has been diminished from other reasons. Other than the ‘kings of the East’ (China, India, Koreas), there is no other military or political alliance that has greater power than the ten (10) nation confederacy.

With OVER 1.1 Billion men fit for service and with almost 20,000,000 total armed forces already available (active plus reserve) it is very easy to see how the ‘kings of the east’ could build a 200,000,000 army among all those ‘fit for service.’ Even with a 200,000,000 man army, 900,000,000 men are still available for combat, if needed. The numbers are staggering. It is likely that 90% of this military force committed by the kings of the east to Armageddon, will have little to no training, and just be issued a rifle, ammunition and side arms. The 200,000,000 army assembled will also include forces from the Beast’s ten (10) nation military confederacy. North Korea and South Korea have almost no meaningful impact on the numbers represented by the kings of the east. Their involvement or lack of involvement is statistically insignificant.

Special Note: [No nukes. Nuclear weapons will not be used by the earthly armies at Armageddon. Doing so would spoil the natural wealth and spoils that these armies covet, just as these spoils were coveted by Gog/Magog (Russia). What can be said about the United States? It is ominously quiet and non-involved at the beginning of the Gog/Magog battle with Israel. The Bible indicates that the United States, along with Britain and Saudi Arabia just throw rebukes back at Russia, questioning it and suggesting that Russia is attacking Israel to take spoil of her ‘great spoil’ (natural gas and crude oil). Up until this point, Russia has had no axe to grind against Israel. They are not enemies. These are verbal rebukes, not military rebukes. Why doesn’t the U.S. come to one of its closest ally’s defense? The United States, under President Donald Trump has pulled out of the Middle East and Syria. There is no meaningful force with which to give Israel, in the event of a regional war or major threat. Any significant force would have to come by sea via a carrier strike force. This could take weeks or a month to accomplish logistically.

The United States has more or less pulled out of NATO, leaving the ten (10) nation confederacy, under Macron, to fend for itself financially and militarily. The only current threat that the ten (10) nation confederacy has is Russia, under Putin. This will change radically, once Putin’s military might is ravaged during the Gog/Magog battle with Israel. In a nutshell, the U.S. has pulled out of the Middle East and for the most part, only has a very limited strike force capacity in Europe. It is possible that a new President is in the white house and is politically neutral towards Israel and does not want to commit any meaningful assistance to Israel. It is possible that the U.S. is caught off guard by the buildup of a 1,000,000 man army in Eastern Israel/Syria. This is not likely because a 1,000,000 man army can’t go unnoticed in its movements, anywhere in the world. It is also possible, that even if the U.S. is to come to Israel’s aid, it could take a relatively long time for said carrier strike force to reach the Mediterranean Sea. The last possibility is that of the Rapture/Harpazo of the Christian Church. The United States has the last meaningful number of Christian believers in the world. Many of whom are in our military forces. The blessed hope of Christianity applies to those Christians in our armed forces, as well as it applies to the Christian population at large. If the Rapture/Harpazo where to take place imminently before the onset of the Gog/Magog battle, the U.S. armed forces (specifically the navy and air force) would be decimated operationally and tactically. Depending on the percentage of forces gone missing, it would not take much to have no one available to fly planes, sail ships, push buttons, launch missiles, etc. In any event, regardless of the reason, the United States is either unable or unwilling to assist Israel when the Gog/Magog alliance comes against her.

Six-fold Reference to 10 Evil Horns/Crowns (Kings) of the Beast’s Empire:

1. … “And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” (Rev. 12:3). (Emphasis added).
2. … “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.” (Rev. 13:1). (Emphasis added).
3. … “So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.” (Rev. 17:3). (Emphasis added).
4. … “And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman and beast that carrieth her, which hat the seven heads and ten horns.” (Rev. 17:7). (Emphasis added).
5. … “And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power of kings one hour with the beast.” (Rev. 17:12). (Emphasis added).

Commentary: These 6 (six) verses describe the political and military backbone of the beast’s evil empire. The 10 (ten) kings are a consortium of political leaders that collectively give up their political and military sovereignty to the beast/antichrist. In exchange, he grants them “power as a king.” It is commonly believed that these ten political leaders who will be given “power as kings for one hour” will come from what is represented as a revived Roman empire (geographically and politically). The above reference in verse 17:12-14 indicates that these 10 (ten) political leaders act in a collective unison (with one mind), and give up their political and military might (power and strength) to the beast (based upon the will of God). This verse also continues on to indicate that these kings “for one hour” are active military participants against Jesus Christ on the Lord’s Day at the battle of Armageddon. Two verses reference the influence that these 10 (ten) kings have on Mystery Religion Babylon. Verse 17:7 indicates that these kings act in collective unison and purpose in supporting (and enforcing) the worldwide acceptance of the whore, Mystery Religion Babylon. They are the “muscle of the means” or the part of the beast that supports (carries) the domination of the mystery religion worldwide. The last reference, verses 17:16-17, indicate that midway through the Tribulation, these 10 (ten) kings turn on and destroy the whore, the Mystery Religion of Babylon.

Why would these 10 (ten) kings, who have worked for 3 ½ years to build up and support the whore, the worldwide mystery religion system, suddenly turn on her to “make her desolate and naked and shall eat her flesh and burn her with fire?”  The answer lies in the religious or spiritual ‘bait-n-switch’ that Satan pulls off on evil mankind. At the beginning of the Tribulation, to gain easy acceptance and domination over the world’s peoples, Satan allows them to worship anything and everything (but God and Jesus Christ) and to also enforce his worship through the beast/antichrist and false prophet. The worship of anything and everything (but God and Jesus Christ) is known as Mystery Religion Babylon, which also includes Satanic worship. Halfway (3 ½ years) into the Tribulation, Satan physically indwells the beast and commits the “Abomination of Desolation” in the rebuilt Jewish Temple. The satanically indwelt beast places himself in the holiest part of the rebuilt temple and declares himself to be God and demands to be worshipped directly as such, under the pain of death and beheading of not doing so. As a result, men who have taken the mark of the beast and perhaps have been worshipping idols of gold or silver, have no choice but to give up their mystery religion and are forced to worship Satan/beast exclusively.

Most of those deceived men who have already been worshipping the beast and his image will have no problem in continuing to worship the satanically indwelt beast. Their worship will just be more of the same, except that Satan is now the direct object or recipient of their worship. Conversely, those men who were actively participating in the mystery religion of worshipping whatever they wanted, now have to turn their worship exclusively to Satan. Thus, Satan has effectively pulled-off a successful religious ‘bait-n-switch’ of historical proportions. Evil men thought they could get away with chasing whatever they wanted, and now, Satan/beast has a firm grasp of them ‘bait-hook-line-sinker.’ Evil men have to worship him, they are forced to worship him under threat of death. They have physically and satanically defiled themselves through taking the beast’s mark (or name, number) and thus, they have given themselves over totally, completely and whole heartedly to the beast’s kingdom and system. Now, the whole mystery religion system has been destroyed “burned with fire, flesh consumed,” and replaced with the singular, exclusive worship of Satan. The ten (10) kings helped carry the whore throughout the whole world, and conversely, helped destroy her when the time was right and dictated by Satan. Just as the beast and false prophet are puppets of Satan, the 10 (ten) kings are the ‘puppet thugs’ or ‘heavy muscle goons’ that carry the beast’s system and mystery religion (for 3 ½ years) throughout the world.

Ten (10) is a doubling of Satan’s evil number of 5 (five), (5×2=10). In the context of God’s divine mathematics, these “kings for an hour with the beast” represent a double portion of Satanic evil or worldly strength. ten (10) also represents a doubling of the satanically empowered beast’s kingdom, or a doubling of any kind of Satan’s influence.

Three-fold Reference to Beast’s Kingdom:

1. … “And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain.” (Rev. 16:10). (Emphasis added).
2. … “And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.” (Rev. 17:12). (Emphasis added).
3. … “For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.” (Rev. 17:17). (Emphasis added).

Commentary: The beast/antichrist will have occupy a seat of authority, as a king over a kingdom. He will give ten kings political authority to administer his will, this occurs for a very short period of time or “one hour.” These ten kings unify themselves and give their sovereignty directly to the beast, as a result of God putting this desire into their hearts. As such, these ten political leaders give up their status as kings (have received no kingdom), but still are given power as of a king. In other words, the beast/antichrist is so vain, that he desires to be the only one with a title as “king” and prompts the ten political leaders to give up their ruling titles, in exchange for their allegiance and military might, he then allows them to maintain authority/power in each of their respective countries. This has the net effect of providing the beast/antichrist with exactly what he wants, to be a “king” with supreme authority over his “kingdom” and to have a powerful group of political allies that provide him with the military muscle needed for the enforcement of his kingdom and will. It is unusual, and not normal, for a leader of any country, to willingly give up the country’s sovereignty for any reason. No king or political leader willing wants to give up his authority. Threats against sovereignty usually result in warfare. Surprisingly, these ten political leaders willing give up their sovereignty to the beast/antichrist. Verse 17:17 indicates that God put his will into these ten leaders to willingly give up their sovereignty. These three verses indicate that God is in control, He is allowing the beast/antichrist’s kingdom to form, His will determines how long the kingdom will last (one hour). God is so much in control that he even dictates whether or not light will shine in the kingdom. Everything is part and parcel of God’s plan and purpose. The ten kings or political leaders would not give up their titles, status and country sovereignty unless God’s prompts them to do so.

Twelve-fold Reference to the Beast’s Evil Political System or Kingdom:

Commentary: What denotes a political rule or system? References to a kingdom, power, seat, authority, kings, power over nations, etc. Considered and understood in totality, these verses describe the formation of the beast’s Babylonian system and kingdom. They describe where the beast/antichrist/man of sin gets his evil power, seat and authority (Satan gives this to him directly). Satan has the power to do exactly this, in Matthew 4:8-9, Satan tempts Jesus with; “Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things I will give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.” (Emphasis added). Power is given to the beast/antichrist/man of sin over all kindreds, tongues and nations. The ten horns are ten political leaders, who in exchange for giving up their geographical political sovereignty, receive the designation as “kings” from the beast, while he remains in power (four an hour). God puts it into their minds to collectively give control of their national sovereignty over to the beast. As such, the beast gains a formidable political and military support system to carry out his rule. Politically, it appears that Babylon City is the beast’s capital city and supports the man made religious heartbeat of the evil mystery religion (Babylon Mystery Religion – Whore). At the midpoint in the Tribulation, the ten (10) kings destroy Mystery Religion Babylon to make way for the sole worship of Satan through his indwelt possession of the beast/antichrist/man of sin. In Rev. verse 17:14, scripture also indicates that these ten (10) “kings” will also participate at the battle of Armageddon against Christ.
