The staples of life becoming prohibitively expensive. ‘A measure of wheat for a penny.’ A time of great income inequality, price inflation and scarcity of food staples including grains. Yet, the rich can afford wine and oil, which is in amble supply, affordable and readily available. A foreshadow of tremendous food shortages during the coming 7 year tribulation.
