Police Comish says the ‘worst is yet to come’. That is an understatement. There were 12 (6+6) shootings during the seven-day period in question last year, while 2020 has seen 55 (5). More than 70 (7) people were wounded in the 55 (5) shootings, with at least 18 (6+6+6) injured on Saturday. The numbers don’t lie. NYC had seen 100 (5+5) shootings in May, the first time the city had hit that number in around five (5) years. ‘Rage-on.’ Lawlessness and Violence. Understatement.
