Why Students Of God’s Word Aren’t Surprised By Russia, Iran, And Turkey’s Mutual Hatred Of Israel

This past week, The Times of Israel reported that Turkish President Recep Erdogan laid the blame squarely on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for Iran’s large-scale attack on Israel earlier this month.  “The main one responsible for the tension that gripped our hearts on the evening of April 13 is Netanyahu and his bloody administration,” Erdogan declared. He further went on to say, “Those who have been silent for months about Israel’s aggressive attitude immediately condemned the Iranian response, but it’s Netanyahu himself who is the first who should be condemned.”

It is pretty sad that Erdogan won’t admit that Iran is the leading state sponsor of terror in the Middle East, and because of their hatred for Israel, they are hellbent on destroying the Jewish State The truth is that the Iranian regime, which some call “the head of the octopus,” has their tentacles all around Israel. Iran funds and props up its terrorist proxies, with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon possessing over 150,000 rockets, all pointed toward Israel. Iran also has proxies in Iraq, Syria, Gaza with Hamas and Islamic Jihad, and in Yemen with the Houthis, all with one goal: eliminating the Jewish State.

President Erdogan, an Islamist, has chosen to support Hamas’ demonic massacre on October 7 and Iran’s attack on the Jewish state with over 300 drones, cruise, and ballistic missiles. He has no problem with these horrible events, but he does have a problem with Israel, especially when they defend themselves. This shouldn’t surprise students of God’s Word.

GOG MAGOG INVASION OF ISRAEL

Setting The Stage For Ezekiel 38

The Bible, in Ezekiel 38 and 39, tells us that things need to move in this direction. These chapters speak of a future attack on Israel from the north with the three main players—Russia, Iran, and Turkey. Knowing this, we shouldn’t expect any warm relations between these countries and Israel.

In Ezekiel 38:8, we read: “After many days you will be visited. In the latter years [that is yet to come] you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely.

The above verse describes the Jewish people being regathered back to the land and says there will come a time when Israel will “dwell safely.”

There’s much discussion about the timing of the Ezekiel 38-39 battle. Some place it before the Rapture, some after but before the Tribulation.  I believe that it takes place in the early parts of the Tribulation period when the peace treaty of Daniel 9:27 is signed between the Antichrist and Israel, allowing them, in the early stages, to dwell safely in their land with neither bars nor gates. A state of “dwelling safely” and unwalled is not the current situation we see in Israel. A mosquito can’t even enter Israel’s airspace today without them knowing it.

THE COVENANT OF FALSE PEACE CONFIRMED FOR SEVEN YEARS BY THE PRINCE, BEAST, ANTICHRIST, MAN BY SATAN

Verses 9-12 continue: “You [speaking of this anti-Israel coalition of nations] will ascend, coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you. ‘Thus says the Lord God: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’— to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land.”

Again, Russia, Turkey, and Iran are the three main players. Sudan and Libya are also in that mix. Verse 13 mentions “Sheba and Dedan,” where the modern nation of Saudi Arabia is today, protesting this invasion. This, too, is similar to what we’re seeing happening today. It’s incredible to see God’s Word coming to pass.

According to Al Majalla, a London-based Arab political news journal, “By the end of the first half of 2022, the number of foreign military bases and locations [speaking within Syria] had reached a total of 830 sites, distributed as follows: Iran 570, Turkey 125, Russia 105, US-led coalition 30.” Friends, Russia, Turkey, and Iran are on Israel’s doorstep and have been developing quite a friendship with one another over the years.

God Alone Predicts the Future

Everything that we see happening is setting the stage for this war to be fulfilled, I believe, in the near future. Here we are today, reading what the prophet Ezekiel wrote some 2,500 years ago, speaking of the very things we are witnessing. What does that tell me? It tells me that God’s word is powerful—it’s about real people, real places, and real events—therefore, we can trust it with all our hearts. When God Says in Isaiah 45:22, “Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other,” we better take heed and turn to Israel’s Messiah, Yeshua, the only way to be saved from our sins and have the gift of eternal life.

Bible prophecy shouldn’t scare us but prepare us and drive us into the arms of Jesus because His Word is truth, and he alone predicts the future. I think of Isaiah 42:9, where God says, “Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them.” In other words, God alone predicts the future, and the things that we see happening in our world today line up with what we read in God’s Word. Amazing!

What Becomes Of The Enemies Of Israel? So, what is the fate of these invaders who are coming upon the land of Israel in the near future? Let’s look at Ezekiel 39:3-4: “Then I will knock the bow out of your left hand, and cause the arrows to fall out of your right hand. You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peoples who are with you; I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.” Well, there you have it.

If Iran, Turkey, Russia, and Israel’s enemies really want to come against the Jewish State, they would be better off aiming their weapons at the sun, moon, and stars to try to destroy them because God says in Jeremiah 31:35-36 that as long as they are intact, Israel will not cease from being a nation before God. That means forever—period!

Russia asks United Nations to consider sanctioning Israel

18 Apr, 2024 15:30 RT

Russia’s permanent representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzia has called on the United Nations to consider imposing sanctions on Israel over its non-compliance with obligatory resolutions passed by the Security Council.

He noted that UNSC Resolution 2728 demanded a ceasefire in Gaza during Ramadan, and this had not been implemented by Israel.

“We remind you once again that non-compliance with mandatory Security Council resolutions must lead to sanctions against violators. We believe that the Council should consider this issue without delay,” Nebenzia said on Thursday during a UN Security Council meeting.

French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne also called for sanctions on Israel earlier this month. In February, Paris sanctioned 28 Israeli nationals, though the French government has not published their names.

The Hamas ceasefire resolution was adopted by the Security Council on March 25 in a vote of 14 in favor to none against, with the US abstaining. The document demanded a ceasefire in Gaza during Ramadan, the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages, and for humanitarian access to Gaza to be ensured.

The delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza is nearly impossible at the moment, Nebenzia said, pointing to data from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, which demonstrates that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are currently blocking half of the humanitarian convoys heading to the region.

Earlier this month, Israel admitted that the IDF had mistakenly conducted a strike that the World Central Kitchen group said killed seven of the organization’s personnel – three British nationals, an Australian, a Palestinian, a Pole, and a US-Canadian.

Shortly after the US abstained on the UN Gaza ceasefire resolution, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu canceled a planned visit to Washington by a high-level delegation in protest over the move. He accused the White House of “retreating” from what he said had been a “principled position” by allowing the vote to pass without attaching conditions providing for the release of hostages held by Hamas.

Hamas raided nearby Israeli military bases and villages on October 7, killing more than 1,100 Israelis and taking over 200 hostage. Israel responded by declaring war on the group and invading Gaza. The military operation has reduced much of the enclave to rubble, claiming the lives of more than 33,000 Palestinians over the past six months, according to local authorities.

A weeklong truce deal reached in late November saw 105 hostages freed in exchange for 240 Palestinian prisoners.

On Wednesday, Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said negotiations stalled between Israel and Hamas to secure a truce in Gaza and a release of more hostages.

Russia’s Shoigu meets Iranian counterpart, says ready to expand military co-operation, says RIA

MOSCOW, April 26 (Reuters) – Russia is ready to expand military and technical cooperation with Iran, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu told his Iranian counterpart Gharaei Ashtiani at a meeting on Friday, the RIA state news agency reported.

Contacts between the countries’ military departments have increased significantly recently, Shoigu was cited as saying.

The two ministers were attending a meeting in Kazakhstan of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), a security grouping that includes Russia, India, China, Iran, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

Iran threatens to attack Israel with weapons it has ‘not used before’ as it gets military support from Russia

Melissa Koenig Published April 16, 2024 Updated April 16, 2024, 9:25 a.m. ET NYPOST

Iran is reportedly getting a terrifying arsenal from Russia, including anti-aircraft launchers and fighter jets — and is threatening to fire weapons it has never before used in “a severe, extensive and painful response” to the “slightest action” by Israel.

Abolfazl Amouei, a spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament’s National Security Committee, told a local news station Monday that the Islamic Republic “will confront any Israeli aggression and respond to it.”

“We are ready to use weapons that we have not used before,” the official told Al-Mayadeen News, according to the Economic Times.

“We have plans for all scenarios, and we call on the Zionists to act rationally.”

Separately, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi warned Israel that if it takes even the “slightest action,” it will face “a severe, extensive and painful response.”

“The blind support of some Western countries to the Zionist regime is the cause of tension in the region,” he claimed, according to the Daily Express.

“We will respond in a massive, broad and painful manner to the slightest action targeting Iranian interests.”

The threats come after years of the international community worrying about Iran’s nuclear capabilities.

The Islamic Republic has several nuclear research sites, two uranium mines, a research reactor and three uranium enrichment plants, the Daily Mail reports.

https://nypost.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2024/04/2023-khorramshahr-4-missile-launched-11703963.jpg

In November 2023, the International Atomic Energy Agency reported that Tehran’s uranium stockpile was more than 20 times larger than the limit agreed upon under the Obama-era Iran nuclear deal.

By December, the United Nations agency warned that Iran had enriched uranium to up to 60% purity — which is close to weapons-grade.

It said it has enough enriched uranium to build three atomic bombs.

The National Union for Democracy in Iran also wrote in a report earlier this month that its stockpile of enriched uranium, coupled with its centrifuge capacity, are enough to make seven nuclear weapons in just one month.

Iran is also getting weapons from Russia, including anti-aircraft launchers and drones, the Washington Post reports.

It has vowed to support Iran with air defense technology and advanced fighter jets, as well as technical support for its spy satellites.

Further agreements between the two countries may also include efforts to rebuild Iran’s air force — which is made up of rebuilt Soviet and US jets from before 1979 — as well as efforts to increase Iran’s supply of spy satellites and help it build more rockets, according to the outlet.

Officials in Tehran are also pushing for Russia’s anti-aircraft launchers — which military analysts say are capable of destroying stealth fighter jets operated by the US and Israel.

In exchange, Iran has vowed to support Russia in its ongoing war against Ukraine.

Iran agreed in 2022 to supply thousands of drones and missiles to Moscow to support its war efforts, and Russia agreed late last year to buy about $2 billion worth of military equipment — including anti-drone defense systems — from Iran.

The Islamic Republic has also agreed to sell Russia surface-to-surface missiles, which intelligence suggests would be transferred imminently.

It has also sold more than 600 jet-powered drones that were described as being able to travel at about 400 miles per hour, three times faster than previous Iranian drones.

The United Nations is warning both Israel and Iran against retaliation.

But on Sunday, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant told US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin that the Jewish state has “no choice” but to retaliate against the rogue nation for launching hundreds of missiles and suicide drones into Israeli airspace, according to Axios correspondent Barak Ravid.

None of the drones or cruise missiles struck Israel, and only a few of the ballistic missiles made it through, according to the Jerusalem Post.

Iran’s aerial assault was in retaliation for an Israeli airstrike in Damascus on April 1 in which a top Iranian general was killed.

Israeli media later reported that the target of the strike — Gen. Mohammad Reza Zahedi — was a key planner of the Oct. 7 attack on southern Israel that killed more than 1,200 people and sparked the war in Gaza.

Make Your (7) Decision for Christ NOW!!!!!!! Time is Up!!!!!!!

Jesus Christ’s Offer of Salvation:

The ABCs (7) of Salvation through Jesus Christ (the Lamb)

  1. (7) Admit/Acknowledge/Accept that you are sinner. Ask (7) God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins.

. . . “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23).

. . . “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10).

. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8).

B. Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe that (7) Jesus Christ is who He claimed to (7) be; that He was both fully God (7) and fully man and that we are (7) saved through His death, burial, and resurrection. (7) Put your trust in Him as your (7) only hope of salvation. Become a son (7) or daughter of God by receiving Christ. (7777777) 7×7

. . . “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:15-17). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).

C. Call upon His name, Confess (7) with your heart and with your lips (7) that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

. . . “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10).

. . . “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (John 1:8-10).

. . . “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (John 2:2).

. . . “In this was manifested the love of god toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:9, 14-15).

. . . “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:8-10).

. . . “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23).

. . . “Jesus saith unto them, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6).

. . . “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.” (Romans 1:16).

. . . “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts: 4:12).

. . . “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 2:4-6).

. . . “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:9).

. . . “But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1:12).

True Church / Bride of Christ Spared from God’s Wrath:

Romans 5:8-10. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”

Romans 12:19. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 1:10. And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

1 Thessalonians 5:9. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Romans 8:35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Jeremiah 30:7. Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
