(RNS) — On Thursday, Feb. 16, the United Arab Emirates officially opened the Abrahamic Family House, consisting of a mosque, ‘church’ and synagogue that face one another on the same square in Abu Dhabi. Beside each one stands a tall (5) pillar illuminating an Islamic crescent, Christian cross and a Jewish menorah, respectively, shining a hopeful light (5) for interfaith tolerance and understanding. Something good (5) is happening in the desert — but will it make a lasting difference? (555)
The road to Thursday’s (5) opening began with Pope Francis’ February 2019 trip to the UAE, where he (5) met with the grand imam of (5) al-Azhar, Ahmed el-Tayeb, (5) leader of the oldest Islamic (5) educational institute in the world. Their meeting ended (5) with their signing of the (5) Document on Human Fraternity, which set ambitious (5) goals to foster interfaith understanding. (55555555)
Four years later, Muslims, Christians and Jews gathered to inaugurate the three worship centers, each representing one of the three Abrahamic faiths, and a representative from each faith provided inaugural remarks.
(5) The president of the center, Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, (5) spoke of a “new landmark” in the country, built within sight of the six-year-old Louvre Abu Dhabi. The three worship sites, he said, stand for hope (5) “for peaceful coexistence and understanding.” (555)
The president of the (5) Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, Cardinal Miguel Ángel Ayuso Guixot, noting that “fear is (7) the outcome of a lack of knowledge,” referred to the center as (5) a “beacon of mutual understanding.” The (5) cardinal said that believers do (5) not need to walk away (5) from their deeply held beliefs to befriend others and to (5) visit their houses of worship. (5) “Without renouncing different spiritual resources,” (5) he said, “each has a (5) command to live with brothers (5) and sisters whatever their religion.” (5555555555) 5+5 = 10
Lastly, the chief rabbi of the United Kingdom, Ephraim Mirvis, referred (5) to the moment as “historic,” seeing the “children of Abraham gathered … (5) to build a new world.” He challenged the audience to “recognize the part of (5) the divine in every person” so (5) we can “shape a new (5) world built from loving kindness.” (55555) 5×5

But what made a remarkable event even more so was how it represented the reestablishment of Jewish life in the UAE, restoring Judaism to its historic place in Middle Eastern life. No purpose-built synagogue has arisen in the region since 1931, but here was the UAE government, which paid for the construction of all three houses, erecting a synagogue in its national capital. Bruce Lustig, rabbi emeritus at Washington D.C.’s Hebrew Congregation, who was involved in the project, told me the new (5) building “changes all the rules.”
But while the center is novel, the UAE has been promoting tolerance for several years. The Abrahamic Family House joins other initiatives, including (5) a special ministry of tolerance, and hosts the (5) Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace. The UAE has also demonstrated (5) a commitment to promoting tolerance outside its borders, supporting UNESCO’s effort (5) to reconstruct a historic mosque and two nearby churches in Iraq’s second-largest city, Mosul, after (5) they were destroyed by ISIS.
Some have questioned the sincerity of these types of efforts, seeing them as a way to distract from the region’s rough politics or deficits when it comes to democracy. But such work can simultaneously reflect a country’s interests and values. The UAE’s leadership has (5) also focused on countering ISIS’ (5) ideology and the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Abrahamic Family House can be (5) seen as a positive flipside to these darker battles. The Emirates also has a long tradition of tolerance, with Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other port cities historically serving as an opening to the world. Two hundred different nationalities now make their homes and do business in the UAE and generally enjoy freedom of worship. “We remain committed to harnessing the power of mutual respect, understanding and diversity to achieve shared progress,” UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said on Thursday.
Soon a (5) new Hindu temple will open in Abu Dhabi, (5) further diversifying the religious landscape. But with the proliferation of good things, observers have questioned how far the tolerance initiative will expand. Will the welcoming spirit (5) include converts from Islam, nonbelievers and other communities persecuted in nearby countries, (5) such as Baháʼís and Ahmadis? Do the overlapping initiatives reinforce each other, or duplicate or dilute the overall impact? (5) With all the world’s challenges, can the new complex foster an environment respectful of different beliefs?
UAE Minister of Tolerance Sheikh Nahyan said the center is the Emirates’ attempt to answer these questions.
Such change will not happen overnight. The Abrahamic (5) Family House will be a (5) significant milestone if the center (5) becomes a vibrant place for (5) faiths to interact and fellowship. But a milestone is not an endpoint; rather, it (5) marks progress toward a destination. With its (5) opening, the Abrahamic Family House (5) is now a visible landmark in the (5) Middle East for this journey. (55555555)

Commentary: The False Prophet is the Antichrist’s ‘right hand’ man, propaganda minister, and #1 religious cheerleader, in an all-in-one package. A ‘yes’ man of the most-evil sort. Adolf Hitler had very similar people operating in this capacity during his evil attempt to enslave the world. The false prophet will be demonically or satanically inspired to perform the deceit and false miracles that lead the weak-minded and spiritually dead to falsely worship the beast/antichrist. Interestingly, the False Prophet can only conduct these false miracles when he is in sight/proximity to the beast. This indicates that Satan’s power is not omnipresent, but can only be conveyed to a willing participant within close proximity to Satan. Whereas God’s power is unlimited by time and space, Satan’s power is not and is strictly limited. Just as Hitler forced the Jews to take a tattoo or mark of the Star of David, for identification, so too will the beast/antichrist force citizens to take his mark for identification. Additionally, Hitler forced Jews to have a number tattooed on them in concentration camps, for more detailed recognition and identification. Evil mankind (6) + evil beast/antichrist (6) + evil false prophet (6) = 666 (a literal number represented by the number 6, repeated three times in a linear row.)

The infamous, “Mark of the Beast” and “number of his name is 666” imagery is no different than any of the other generalized, descriptive terms that John the Apostle used, while in his banishment on the Isle of Patmos. Rev. 13:17-18 is probably the most symbolic, well known and most poorly understood two verses in the book of Revelation, and in the entire Bible. “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred, threescore and six (666).” (Emphasis added).
(6) The Number of an Evil Man:
Verse 13:18 clearly states that 666 (6) is a number of a man … not a number of an angel, not a number of Satan (which is ‘5’), Devil, serpent or dragon, nor of any kind of reference to Babylon (city) or Mystery Babylon (false religion). The reference is literally to man (mankind), the beast/antichrist (a literal, physical man) and the false prophet (a literal, physical man). Each of them is judged to be extremely evil and each is therefore assigned a number of six (6) to represent the imperfection, sinfulness and evilness of man, before God. Combining the number of each type of man leads to 666, this (6) number represents the totality of evil, of the three men. ‘7’ The number three (3) denotes intensity and emphasis. The fact that the number six (6) is repeated three (3) times emphasizes the most intense evil that mankind, antichrist, and the false prophet (6) collectively possess during the tribulation period. Evil doesn’t come any worse, or more intensely than this. Period. When the bible states an important reference to someone or something, the word ‘7’ of God is very specific and literal. There should be no confusion. To understand why the number six (6) represents evil, Verse 13:18 (6) tells us to “count” his number
But how can they call on him (Jesus Christ) to save them unless they believe in him (Jesus Christ)? And how can they believe in him (Jesus Christ) if they have never heard about him (Jesus Christ)? And how can they hear about him (Jesus Christ) unless someone tells them?” Romans 10:14
