For the 100,000 or so people who jammed into VivaTech, Europe’s biggest tech trade show, in Paris earlier this summer, it was hard to miss the large green exhibition stand near the main stage. “Invest Saudi” was emblazoned on one wall, while a video monitor showed desert landscapes with gleaming robotics labs, solar farms, and skyscraper cities. (5) “It’s a whole new world,” gushed Emon Shakoor, CEO and founder of Blossom Accelerator, a startup in Riyadh that seeds female founders.
Indeed, (5) nearly five (5) years have passed (5) since the brutal killing of (7) Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi shocked the world, leaving many U.S. and European partners concerned about risking their reputations by doing deals in a country whose leader, the CIA later concluded, was (5) likely complicit in the murder.
“The situation was unfortunate, to be honest,” said Abdulaziz Alhouti, 33, chief investment officer of Jahez Group, a $1.7 billion food-delivery company in Riyadh that launched two years before Khashoggi’s death in 2018. But, he told Fortune, standing amid the crowds at VivaTech, those dark days have passed. “It’s something that is behind,” said the former investment banker. “And now we need to, as a culture, as a people, move away from it.”
Saudi entrepreneurs are intent on doing just that: (5) moving on and making money. And (5) it appears to be working; (5) investors are back in force. (5) “We’re in a golden age,” said Shakoor, 29, who returned home to Riyadh after four years of studying and surfing at the University of California, San Diego.
Just how golden? One clue is (5) this year’s Fortune Global 500 (5) ranking (5) of the world’s biggest companies, which debuts tomorrow, Aug. 2. Saudi Aramco is valued at over $2 trillion, and even more notable: its net profits last year topped $159 billion. That makes it (7) the most (5) profitable business in the world.

To many Americans and Europeans, the (5) dizzying wealth of a kingdom of 36 million people seems unrelated to their lives. If they think about Saudi Arabia at all, it may be for reasons the country prefers not (5) to dwell on: Khashoggi’s killing, the (5) jailing and torture of dissidents, (5) the devastating war in Yemen, (5) the vanished princesses whose plight was the subject of a recent New Yorker article, and (5) the connection to the 9/11 attacks, in which 15 (5+5+5) (5)of the 19 perpetrators were Saudis.
Meanwhile, (5) Saudi officials and business leaders (5) paint a very different picture, (5) portraying the country as thriving, modern, youthful. It’s a country whose 8.7% growth rate last year was the fastest of any big G20 economy, one that offers some of the (5) most lucrative business opportunities anywhere.
Here’s the problem for Western investors and companies: Both versions are correct. That has sparked a complex set of calculations over which narrative—a repressive monarchy, or a land of opportunity—should prevail, and whether it is even possible to accommodate both.
To human (7) rights defenders, the answer is definitely no. To investors or those seeking Saudi investment, the answer is … fading from conversation, as the kingdom pours its oil profits into industries from golf to (5) technology in increasingly brazen ways.

In early June the country’s $700 billion Public Investment Fund (PIF) made a stunning move on U.S. golf. (5) Chaired by de facto Saudi (5) leader and prime minister Crown (7) Prince Mohammed bin Salman, known widely as MBS, the PIF steamrolled over the opposition of professional (5) golfers and inked an agreement that would turn its two-year-old LIV Golf organization and the PGA Tour—hitherto bitter rivals—into collaborators (5) bankrolled largely by PIF money. PGA officials say that the deal will create a “PGA Tour–controlled subsidiary.” But Yasir al-Rumayyan—who also serves as chairman of Saudi Aramco—will chair the new global golf body if the deal goes through.
Alarmed U.S. lawmakers have tried to pump the brakes, and called a Senate hearing in July to consider risks to U.S. national security and antitrust protections.

But executives argue that they have little choice: Shun the Saudis, and they might anyhow buy out the assets from under them. “If they take just five (5) players a year, then in five (5) years, they can gut us,” Jimmy Dunne, vice chairman of Piper Sandler, who negotiated the PGA Tour deal, told the Senate. “If we do nothing, they could end up owning golf.”
(5) Aramco’s vast oil profits have (5) driven other PIF sports investments, including the nine-figure contracts (5) the Saudi pro soccer league signed this summer with some star European players, and (5) negotiations with international tennis organizations to host (5) major tournaments in the kingdom. But while the sports deals have captured headlines, the real (5) weight of Saudi Arabia’s growing (5) global influence extends far beyond golf greens, soccer fields, and tennis courts.
With a hosepipe of cash from one of the world’s most crucial resources—hydrocarbons—the country has plowed tens (5) of billions into foreign assets, some during the depths of the COVID-19 pandemic while Wall Street was reeling. “You don’t want to waste a crisis,” al-Rumayyan quipped at the time.
The Saudis certainly did not. Their U.S. investments alone include more than 60% ownership of Lucid Motors, a California EV maker; stakes in rideshare company Uber ((5) MBS was an early investor); and gaming companies (5) Activision Blizzard and Electronic Arts.
And that’s just the beginning: At the Paris conference, Badr al-Badr, a Saudi deputy minister of investment, estimated that the country has about $3.2 trillion to invest by 2030. MBS has mandated that (5) investment entities create diversified portfolios, as (5) part of his Vision 2030 strategy to lessen the country’s economic dependence on oil.
The interest flows both ways, as Western businesses seek opportunities to cash in on the kingdom’s booming economy and its big-spending citizens. “There are (5) so many opportunities for investors,” al-Badr told Fortune.
(5) The potential for giant deals that are (5) quickly executed has proved irresistible (5) for companies big and small. (5) For world leaders and business executives, that has provoked a fierce debate over whether it’s worth criticizing Saudi Arabia and (5) risk forgoing such rich rewards. The question has grown more pronounced with the Ukraine war and rising inflation, since oil prices have a profound impact on the price of food, electricity, and much else—and as it has become evident that economic power will not likely usher in democracy. (It has not, after all, in (5) China, Saudi Arabia’s prized customer.)
Already, righteous expressions of outrage are melting in the face of (5) a tidal wave of cash.
The latest example is the July appointment of Amin Nasser, CEO of Aramco, to the board of BlackRock. The investment company and its outspoken CEO, Larry Fink, are known for their commitment to ESG principles, and Fink pointedly pulled out of a conference in Riyadh in 2018 following Khashoggi’s killing. But in announcing Nasser’s appointment, Fink touted Nasser’s “leadership experience, understanding of the global energy industry and the drivers of the (5) shift towards a low-carbon economy, as well as his knowledge of the Middle East region.”

And Fink is just the latest business leader to openly embrace (5) an alliance with the kingdom. Last March, (5) two days after MBS announced (5) the creation of Riyadh Air, (5) wholly owned by the PIF, the Saudis placed a $37 billion order with Boeing for 78 Dreamliner aircraft. “We could not be happier with the (5) order, the size, the scale,” Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun told CNBC. He called the region (5) “critically important” to the company.
A similar shift seems to (5) have occurred among world leaders. Take Washington: Back in 2019, presidential candidate Joe Biden vowed to make the Saudis “the pariah that they are,” and ensure that they “pay the price” (5) for the murder of Khashoggi, who lived in the U.S. and wrote for the Washington Post. But as president, Biden landed in Riyadh in 2022 and warmly fist-bumped the young crown prince. He had come to ask a favor of MBS: to sell more oil on world markets, in order to lower inflation and avert a global recession.
Instead, months later, the ‘13’-country OPEC group of oil producers—of which Saudi (5) Arabia is the dominant player—cut global oil sales by 2 million barrels a day. The Saudi government insisted (5) the decision was not political. But with one move, MBS, who turns 38 in August, (5) had demonstrated his power over 80-year-old (5) Biden and other Western leaders—all of whom he will likely outlast by decades.
That power can be traced (5) to one company: Saudi Aramco.
With more than 267 billion barrels of oil reserves, and some 8.5 trillion cubic meters of natural gas, the country sells about 10 million barrels of oil a day—about 10% of world consumption. But it pumps (5) much more, and incredibly cheaply: It costs the company little more than $8 to produce one barrel of oil, compared with average costs of about $53 a barrel in the U.S. Storing all that excess oil allows the country (5) to increase or decrease exports, (5) and affect world oil prices.
(5) “The Saudis can turn production (5) on and off by fiat,” says David Rundell, a former U.S. diplomat to Saudi Arabia and author of a book on MBS. “They are (5) the only people who retain (5) a big surplus of oil,” he says. “That gives the Saudis a huge amount of (5) political influence in the world.”

I saw (5) the source of this influence firsthand when I hopped an Aramco plane deep into the kingdom’s Empty Quarter desert in 2017. Aramco’s Shaybah oilfields (5) seem to stretch into infinity—or at least, all the way to its export terminals.
There is little the world can do to lessen their importance, given its dependence on fossil fuels. Despite sweeping U.S. and European Union targets to transition to green energy, the world still consumes about 100 million barrels of oil a day, driving cars, flying on planes, and buying items that arrive on container ships.
“Oil is still fuel for nearly 95% of transportation,” says Jim Krane, Middle East energy analyst at Rice University’s Baker Institute in Houston. (7) “You cannot (5) get anywhere without the Saudis.”
The (7) Saudis intend to build on that advantage by investing (7) heavily in (5) creating a homegrown green economy—efforts that climate (5) groups have dismissed as “greenwashing,” or meaningless image-building. MBS has declared the desert nation—which is feeling the effects of climate change in the form of (7) droughts, extreme weather, and rising sea levels—will zero out its heavy carbon footprint by 2060. Dozens of solar and wind projects are under construction, in an effort to upgrade the country’s grid, about 40% of which runs on fossil fuels.
And yet, in a seeming paradox, the government has instructed Aramco (‘13’) to increase production to well over ‘13’ million barrels of oil a day by 2027. If Western oil companies trim their fossil-fuel output, as they’ve said they intend to, Aramco could become an even more pivotal producer.
The country is also plowing billions into green-tech research and development, seeking new uses for its oil and gas, such as producing green and blue hydrogen—both potentially lucrative future exports. “If you’re worried about people weaning themselves off oil, you want to use oil in new ways,” Krane says.
These (5) green-tech projects are richly funded—again through the PIF, (5) backed by Aramco’s huge profits. (5) It’s essentially a blank check, says Mudhyan al-Mudhyan of the National Energy Services Co., which is helping to upgrade the grid for thousands of office buildings and apartment blocks in Riyadh. “We don’t need to go to banks or any lending institutions,” al-Mudhyan told me during a visit in 2021 to the government’s energy research center in Riyadh, known as Kapsarc.
That strategy will (5) need global partners and customers—especially in the West. And many U.S. and European companies appear eager to dive in.
That much seemed clear in Paris. Three days after VivaTech, al-Badr’s ministry hosted a standing-room-only investment conference in (5) the city, where French businesses (5) signed agreements with Saudi startups.
And later that same evening, a convoy (5) of luxury sedans escorted MBS to a (5) swank dinner in central Paris, where the kingdom pitched its bid to host the 2030 World Expo—a six-month extravaganza at which more than 100 countries would mount exhibitions and hold events, potentially drawing millions of visitors.

Rev. 13:17-18 is probably the most symbolic, well known and most poorly understood two verses in the book of Revelation, and in the entire Bible. “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred, threescore and six (666).” (Emphasis added).

Verse 13:18 clearly states that 666 (6) is a number of a man … not a number of an angel, not a number of Satan (which is ‘5’), Devil, serpent or dragon, nor of any kind of reference to Babylon (city) or Mystery Babylon (false religion). The reference is literally to man (mankind), the beast/antichrist (a literal, physical man) and the false prophet (a literal, physical man). Each of them is judged to be extremely evil and each is therefore assigned a number of six (6) to represent the imperfection, sinfulness and evilness of man, before God. Combining the number of each type of man leads to 666, this (6) number represents the totality of evil, of the three men. ‘7’ The number three (3) denotes intensity and emphasis. The fact that the number six (6) is repeated three (3) times emphasizes the most intense evil that mankind, antichrist, and the false prophet (6) collectively possess during the tribulation period. Evil doesn’t come any worse, or more intensely than this. Period. When the bible states an important reference to someone or something, the word ‘7’ of God is very specific and literal. He is the ‘beast’, comes from seven (7) kings/lineage before him and goes to perdition. His reign is over the seven (7) years of the tribulation. Born 1985, he will be 35 (7×5) years old in 2020. Seven (7) denotes God’s divine completion to His plan or purpose. Five (5) denotes Satanic influence of men and kings. God’s influence over men in greater than Satan’s influence over men 7>5. Notice that MBS will be the FIRST king who is NOT a direct son of founding King Ibn Saud in 1932. Becoming the 8th king, MBS represents a ‘new epoch’ a ‘new future’ for the kingdom that forms an ideological break from the past. Eight (8) denotes a new beginning, new timeline, new season, new plan. God is addressing the evil status quo of the House of Saud (bottomless pit of evil, wealth, influence, power, corruption) and ushering in the time of great wrath, the tribulation for Gentile nations. From a spiritual perspective, MBS not being one of the six (6) sons of the founding King Ibn Saud, now holds claim to being the son of perdition under the power and influence of the dragon (Satan). MBS has no allegiance to his family tree, tradition, other family princes and historical political protocol. Only an extremely evil, pathological soul manipulated by Satan would turn on his own family. In Satan’s plan, he used the ‘bottomless pit’ of evil House of Saud to raise MBS, the beast, the son of perdition to be in the positions he both currently and in future, will hold. Just as Jesus Christ had an earthly family tree and lineage, Satan used the House of Saud as the earthly family tree, lineage for his son of perdition, the beast, the coming Antichrist.
At the time John the Apostle was in the Holy Spirit and given a ‘vision’ of the future, 5 of the Saudi Kings were already dead (fallen). He was shown the sixth king, and told that a future 7th and 8th king were coming. The sixth king was a ‘sign post’ of the beginning of the ‘end times’ prior to the tribulation. The 7th King ‘short while’ in current King Salman, the last son of founder Saud. Mbs, Mohammed bin Salman is ‘Crown Prince’ and will become the 8th king (goes into perdition). MbS is the ‘Beast’ who rules during the seven (7) year tribulation and great tribulation (last 3.5 year period.) MbS (Beast now), becomes the Antichrist midway during the 7 year tribulation, at the occurrence known as the ‘Abomination of Desolation.’
Mohammed bin Salman (named Crown Prince, June 2017). He is referred to scripturally as both a Prince and as a King. This is extremely unique and mentioned for a very real reason. He plays a prophetic role as Prince (when he confirms the false peace covenant among many nations throughout MENA regarding Israel and the Palestinians). Please consider that many, if not all, MENA countries are either Arabic and/or Muslim and are financially and politically beholden to Saudi Arabia in one form or another. Religiously, all these countries are beholden to the House of Saud, because it is the ‘custodian’ of Islam’s ‘holiest’ sites in Saudi Arabia. All Muslims must come for Hajj in Saudi Arabia at some point in their life, if capable (those who worship the dragon and the beast). Satanic influence is woven together and throughout ALL of these counties. They will agree to MBS’ confirmation of the covenant, as Crown Prince. They dare not come against the Crown Prince’s wish and confirmation. Thus, they will abide by his confirmation. They have every reason to accept his confirmation, because of their political, financial and religious vested interests with Saudi Arabia. ‘Who can make war or come against the Beast?’
MBS also plays a prophetic role as Saudi Arabia’s 8th King. This will likely occur before he enters the rebuilt Jewish 3rd Temple and causes the Abomination of Desolation (claims to be god and demands to be worshiped as such). Poor man wants to be rich, rich man wants to be prince, prince wants to be king, king wants to be god and rule everything. As such, MBS will likely be the Saudi’s 8th King once he sets foot in the rebuilt Jewish temple half way through the tribulation. After all, he is already the focus of ‘those who worship the dragon and the beast.’ He now wants the Jews to worship him along with the rest of the world (via the destruction of his previous accommodation and approval of the worshipping of the false mystery religions.) It’s not enough that Satan has deceived almost 2 billion Muslims. He now wants to be worshipped by the rest of the earth by Hindus, Buddhists, et.al. Satan destroys the false ‘mystery religion’ being propagated by the False Prophet, so he can be the only focus of mankind’s worship. These false religions served their satanic purpose by deceiving men and leading men away from Christ, now is time to throw these other false religions into the fire so men are forced to worship Satan, through MBS exclusively.
The timing of when MBS became Crown Prince is known (June 2017). When he becomes king is when his father succumbs the throne to MBS (this could be through death or a short political reign for one reason or another – health?). The actual timing is unimportant, all we are told is that the 7th king’s reign is for a ‘short time or while.’ His term could be 5, 6, 7 or 8 years.
Where else is there a family/political dynasty on earth that has had seven (7) consecutive kings that rule a country from the same genetic line? In the Middle East? During the time of Israel’s rebirth from a valley of dry bones to a budding fig tree? Saudi Arabia’s current 7th king and future 8th king fit the Biblical narratives set forth by the Word of God. 7th and 8th kings from the bottomless pit of evil, money, power, influence, corruption (5 Satanic influences). MBS is prince when he confirms the covenant. MBS becomes an Antichrist when he is worshiped as a mujaddid by Muslims, and then becomes the worldwide Antichrist when he is indwelt by Satan.
The timing of John the Apostle’s vision regarding the 8 Kings from the bottomless pit of the House of Saud – 5 ‘fallen’, 1 ‘is current’, 2 ‘are future’.
Why is this even a topic worth mentioning? What is the point? Is there a point? Yes, there is a point. And it is VERY important, from a prophetic viewpoint. In that, it is a ‘viewing point’ of the latter days, leading up to the tribulation. How so?
First, as Christians, we know that the Triune God gave John the Apostle a vision and knowledge of many things pertaining to the days leading up to and into the tribulation and after. The Holy Spirit carried him into the future, from his particular life in time, to witness things that he then explained in his Revelation of Jesus Christ. One of the visions he was given, while in the Holy Spirit, was of the 5 kings that were fallen, a 6th king he was being shown, and that of a 7th king who had not come (but would rule for a short while at some point in the future). Lastly, he was shown a future and last 8th king known and described as the Beast who would be sent to perdition, udder destruction, the lake of fire and brimstone, the second death … alive.
I have attempted to confirm who the 7th and 8th kings are from our point in space and time, relative to the ‘season of the times.’ What about this mysterious sixth king, the king ‘who is’. Why is this king important that John the Apostle was directly being shown? And what possible prophetic importance can he have? Of the 8 kings, why would God single out this particular man?
The reign of 6th King Abdullah was from 2005 to 2015. This snapshot of time and space is important because it suggests that this time frame is important for us, for Gentiles alive in the final generation. To know that we are indeed in the ‘final season’ prior to our harpazo/rapture and the onset of the tribulation, without any doubt or hesitation. We know that Israel’s prophetic time clock began in 1948. God’s prophetic time clock for the tribulation of Gentile nations suggests that it started during the time of this sixth king. It is beyond the scope of this letter to go into details about what has occurred throughout the entire earth during the time of the sixth king’s reign. Many prophetic things started being revealed over the 5 year period from 2010 to 2015. The time of the sixth king’s reign is a sign post, a flashing light, a notice of when the final season begins and is upon the earth for Gentiles. God has given signs in scripture and the heavens for Jews, and Gentiles alike. The September 23, 2017 occurrence of the ‘great sign in heaven’ is an example of a sign for the Bride of Christ. The 6th Saudi king is a Gentile and a member of the House of Saud and the bottomless pit of evil. His reign (along with all the other past 5 kings and 2 future kings) has been orchestrated by Satan during the growth of this kingdom and the discovery of its bottomless wealth (oil). To a logical mind, clear and sober, this would indicate that God is saying that the age of grace for all Gentiles on earth is coming to a close. It is not important that we don’t know if God considers 2005 or 2015 to be the beginning of the ‘season of the time before the tribulation.’ Just as God spoke generically about the rebirth of Israel, as when you ‘see the fig tree bearing fruit’, he was referring to a time frame or process developing over time. In His divine plan, things develop and take time to grow until their divine timing is ripe to be revealed. Those who can discern can watch this occur, as it happens in ‘real time’ and understand appropriately and accordingly. As God gave a general timeline for Israel, commencing in 1948, he gives a Gentile timeline commencing in 2015. This of course is BEFORE the arrival of the future 7th and 8th kings who would indicate perhaps the middle and end of the ‘Fall Season’ or Season of the Times’ prior to the rapture/harpazo for the Bride and the onset of the tribulation.’
But how can they call on him (Jesus Christ) to save them unless they believe in him (Jesus Christ)? And how can they believe in him (Jesus Christ) if they have never heard about him (Jesus Christ)? And how can they hear about him (Jesus Christ) unless someone tells them?” Romans 10:14
