Just as the ‘Rapture’ and the ‘Second Coming’ are two different events, Hell and the Lake of Fire and Brimstone are two separate places. Hell is a ‘temporary’ jail or holding cell, until the White Throne Judgement occurs and the evil are placed into the lake of fire and brimstone for ETERNITY. Hell is for ‘pre-judgement’, and the Lake of Fire and Brimstone is for ‘post-judgement.’ Very Simple.
