Why is Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) a described as a ‘Beast’?
The Middle East narrative suggests that he is a civic and cultural reformer in Saudi Arabia, a bold politician uniting Arab countries against Iran’s evil hegemony. He beats the same drum as the rest of world, including Pope Francis, in condemning extreme Islam – terrorism (“those who give Islam – Satan’s religion- a bad name”). Those who worship the dragon and the beast. MBS is working to invent the future of his kingdom and to move it away from its economic reliance on oil. He has successfully launched and is building a ‘great city’ … a ‘new future’ city … a city of fabulous wealth … a budding technological marvel … a hedonistic paradise … a city that welcomes tribes, tongues, nations and kings … a city where secular peace, inter-religious acceptance and dialogue are expected … a NEOM Babylon that sits on seven (7) scarlet colored mountains near coastal economic maritime traffic zones. Some millennials in Saudi Arabia describe him as a great reformer, a ‘savior’ of Saudi Arabia by moving it away from the stodgy ‘old-guard’ Islamic police and clerics and opening up movie theaters. He is leading the country in a new and open, humanistic direction. This all sounds like a commercial or state-sponsored sound piece or a great political endorsement. This is how and what the worldview looks for from a leader. What country wouldn’t want to boast that its leader is doing these things? It seems to be too good to be true. In reality, it is so evil as to be false.
Conversely, the Bible describes the ‘son of perdition’ as a beast and as a flesh-and-blood man. What image comes up in the clean and sober mind, that of a beast? Growling, fierce, angry, strong, belligerent, entitled, mean, carnivorous, loud, boastful, haughty, arrogant, narcissist, demeaning, deadly, crafty, conspiring. These traits all sound like they are describing Satan or the Great Devil. It is so, even as a rotten apple falls from a sick tree. God sees men differently than how the world sees men. His standards are different. He knows what is in the heart and mind. He knows evil and describes it as such. Describing someone or something as a ‘beast’ brings to mind many things. None of which are holy, good or Christ-like, but rather the opposite. Since we know the Word of God is true regarding his description of the man known as the beast – that goes to perdition, let us consider how the Biblical narrative fits MBS. This narrative is not conclusive. History will provide the complete narrative.
One of MBS’ very first ‘actions’ after being ‘promoted’ by his father King Salman to being ‘defense minister’, was to start a war in Yemen. The affect has been to kill, injure and harm millions of innocent people and children who pose absolutely no threat to MBS, the House of Saud or Saudi Arabia as a country. The Beast is merely exercising his power, authority, dominion and perceived superiority over these, and other peoples. This has led to a declaration as Yemen being the world’s worst humanitarian crisis or disaster over the past 5 years (time of satanic influence). This statement says a lot considering what has gone on in the world in the last 5 years in regards to other instances of corporate evil. Scores of children bombed, maimed, burned and starved is incomprehensible. He doesn’t know or care what his decision has unleashed. Schools, hospitals, public gatherings of innocents, have all been targeted and bombed. ‘Hit anything and everything, it doesn’t matter who dies’ so the thinking goes. No conscience, no morality, no ethics, no restraint, no discernment, no love for another ‘love waxing cold among many.’ The world’s outcry has been great, but he ignores it. No one comes against him or wars against him to stop the slaughter of innocents.
Shortly after being promoted to ‘Crown Prince,’ in June of 2017, MBS promptly turned on even his own flesh-and-blood, in the House of Saud. In the guise of a ‘corruption crackdown,’ MBS went after other obscenely wealthy Saudi princes from other branches in the family tree, who presented some kind of perceived political threat to his newly minted position as Crown Prince. He extorted $billions in wealth and assets from family members and other extremely wealthy business people outside of the House of Saud. He put some of these people, including ‘rogue’ family members in prison. Some of whom are reportedly still incarcerated. The Beast turned carnivorous against his own flesh and family, devouring them financially, politically and criminally. Only the most evil of human souls would do that to other family members. He could care less. It’s all about him and solidifying his position of power, wealth and influence. Shortly after the financial ‘shakedown’, MBS bought a $500 million dollar yacht and almost a $500 million dollar painting of Salvador Mundi (painting of Christ). What is Islam’s bestowed and gilded custodian of its holiest temples doing purchasing, hoarding and hiding a picture of Christ from the remnant of Christianity that still values a representation of Christ? Satan has in effect used MBS to take one of the world’s best known classical representations of Christ ‘out of circulation’ from the view of the world. MBS used this obscene amount of money to buy a picture, instead of providing aid to Yemen’s casualties. This is not to suggest that an earthly perception or painting of Christ is not valuable. It is in fact, invaluable and priceless, given that we have no known historical representation of his likeliness. The point is how the money was used, and what the effect was and lost. Until Christ’s second coming, Satan has effect on the glory of nations, their cities and wealth.
Shortly thereafter, MBS began another crackdown. This time not on the wealthy or high-ranking political competitors, but on ‘lowly’ citizens and political dissidents or those who would discern and condemn his behavior. Most were jailed, tortured, sexually harassed and condemned. A notable dissident died a horrible death and dismemberment. Saudi Arabia is the ONLY country on earth that uses beheadings by sword as corporal punishment for death. Even for slight offenses. Very young children have been beheaded as a perceived ‘threat.’ This even among the Saudi’s own citizens.
Saudi Arabia is among the top countries worldwide in ‘defense’ expenditures and budget. Recently, much public discourse and political concern has arisen regarding the Saudi’s apparently successful dubious attempt at acquiring nuclear technical knowledge and technology from the US. MBS has stated that if Iran has nuclear weapons, the Saudi’s will also. The Saudi’s claim a desire for nuclear technology for ‘peaceful’ purposes and diversification away from oil. An obvious deception and lie. History will record what the Saudi’s do with this technology and how it is used for evil.
World human rights organizations have noticed a meteoric rise in international asylum requests from Saudi Arabia, since MBS’ rise to power. They also note an alarming spike in beheadings. In 2019, MBS is on track to behead at least 150 people.
The Bible is clear when it describes the beast getting his power, seat and authority from the dragon (Satan).
Revelation 13:2-4
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
Notice: There are five (5) references to ‘beast.’ 5 represents satanic influence of men and kings on earth.
As previously stated, MBS has been given, in the extremely short span of 3 years (2017-2020), power over the world’s greatest kingdom of oil, great political power and financial influence among MENA countries. MBS carries more political ‘weight’ in the Middle East and North Africa than any other prince, king, president or political leader. He has been given international power and influence among the Kings of the East who are ALL beholden him via agreements and billion dollar investments made over the course of 2019 that take effect in 2020 and thereafter. We also know that he has power and influence over the Kings of the East because God’s word tells us that the Beast lures them to Armageddon across a dried up Euphrates river. How else can thousands of armored vehicles, tanks, missile carriers, troops and support vehicles arrive to the battle? If the river was not dried up, there would be no way to cross it. MBS has been given influence over the political leaders and countries of Europe, through arms sales, a front against Iran, the battle against Islamic terrorism and as a political ‘bridge’ between Europe and the Middle East. Last but not least, MBS has influence over decisions made by the President of the United States. For the most part, US leadership has turned a blind eye to the President’s endorsement of MBS throughout his various inhumane actions and behaviors. The President of the US has even aided and helped MBS maintain political power and relevancy, while at the same time strengthening him with military equipment and support. Eventually, the US will bow out of its support of MBS. This will coincide with the US eventually bowing out of its support of Israel as well. Recently, US President Donald Trump indicated that his goal is to help Saudi Arabia prepare to be able to defend itself.
As a Beast, MBS turns against the innocent, the young and the poor. He turns against his own family and his own blood. He turns against those who would confront him, reveal and challenge his evil behavior. He turns against his own citizens, even children. He turns against other countries and those who give his religion a bad name. He controls and manipulates other MENA countries through his political power and financial largesse. At the appointed time, he will turn against Christians, Jews and the multitudes of the world’s deceived people who have bought into the mystery religion he endorsed for three and half years and the economic system implemented after the great collapse. Lastly, he will directly turn against Jesus Christ at Christ’s Second Coming during the battle of Armageddon. He kills and beheads with sword. MBS will himself will be attacked and receive a lethal sword wound that will be satanically healed in a mockery of Christ’s death and resurrection. Satan is deluded into thinking that if God can raise his son Jesus from the dead, Satan can raise his son of perdition from a lethal wound also. This has the effect of deceiving those worship the dragon and the beast as to the beast’s false, evil religious status. The false resurrection of MBS gives great spiritual meaning to those who would be deceived by it. ‘They wondered after the beast whose lethal wound was healed.’ The lethal sword wound is likely the result of a palace coup or an effort on the behalf of parties within the House of Saud. Evil fighting amongst evil, over territory, power and position. Some of the lusts of evil men.
The truth to the world resides on the ugly side of the coin facing down. The world is deceived by the shiny side of coin facing up. Not all things shiny and bright are beautiful or holy. MBS is deceived and deceiving. Even Satan can appear as an angel of light.
Christ is an everlasting treasure, never fading or tarnishing. His value can’t depreciate, be counterfeited or replaced. Not a two faced widow’s mite, but increasing in value and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
