The Divinely Determined Completeness of  God’s Plan or Purpose (7) (Part 13): Seven-fold Reference to Angels Instructing Other Angels.

The Divinely Determined Completeness of  God’s Plan or Purpose (7) (Part 12)

Seven-fold Reference to Angels Instructing Other Angels:

  1. “And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, two whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea.” (Rev. 7:2). (Emphasis added).
  2. “Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” (Rev. 7:3). (Emphasis added).
  3. “And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four altar horns of the golden altar which is before God,” (Rev. 9:13). (Emphasis added).
  4. “Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.” (Rev. 9:14). (Emphasis added).
  5. “And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” (Rev. 14:15). (Emphasis added).
  6. “And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.” (Rev. 14:18). (Emphasis added).
  7. “And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.” (Rev. 16:1). (Emphasis added).

Commentary: Angels instruct or command other angels to execute God’s will. Those angels closest to ‘central-command’ (God’s throne room) issue commands and instructions as desired by God. Lesser angels in turn execute God’s judgements and wraths in God’s administration of heaven and of earth. It is a simple chain of command structure as used in the military. Everyone (angels) have certain or specific roles and tasks to accomplish once they are authorized to do so. Plain and simple. An angel’s role in instructing or commanding another angel is one of the twenty-four (24) angelic roles identified in the book of Revelation. See a detailed commentary on angelic roles in the last chapter (twenty-four’s) of this book.
